Chaeryeong's POV
I manage to help the theater club after hell week. Today's the date of their show and we're already at the theater room to prepare the cameras and its position. Taehyun and I are sitting in front at the center to direct them. The production team is at the backstage helping the crew of the theater club and the remaining members of the film club is out here somewhere watching the show.
I took glances at Yuna from time to time to check on her. I know she'll get sad again since I'm with Taehyun instead of her that's why I want to assure her that my eyes are only for her.
The show started with my cue.
"They're pretty good in acting right?" Taehyun leaned over to whisper
"Well that's because it's their passion that's why they're here at the theater club" I replied
"Can I ask you a question?" He asked and I nodded
He leaned closer to whisper in my ears
"Is Yuna treating you well?" He asked
"Why do you ask?" I asked him
"I just wanted to know. You may not ended up with me but we're still friends. I need to know if my friend is being taken care off" he whispered
"Yuna's been a great girlfriend. Don't worry" I replied and looked at Yuna who's also looking at us
"It's my turn. Can you do me a favor?" I asked
"This is hard to ask but still. Yuna's jelous over you. Can you please stop fetching me after class?" I asked
"I'm sorry. I didn't know she'll get jelous. But okay" he said and smiled at me
We continue to watch the film and after an hour or 2 it ended successfully. We gathered with the other club members first before they head back to the clubroom
"Thank you for helping the theater club" Chaewon-unnie said. She's the head of the theater club
"You can call us anytime" I said and smiled
"You guys can go to the clubroom first and check your films. Taehyun and I will just talk to the theater club president" I said and they nodded
I went closer to Yuna and hold her hand
"Let's meet at the clubroom hmm?" I said and she nodded before she left
Taehyun and I went to the backstage where the theater club is gathered
"Let's give thank to our director from the Filmmaking club" Chaewon-unnie said as we arrived backstage
The members were thanking while clapping at us
"Chaeryeong, can we have the finished edit at the end of the month?" She asked
"We'll try to finish it as soon as possible. Besides, our club doesn't have extra activities for the month so we'll focus on your film first" I said and she smiled at me
"Thank you! Your club is such a huge help in our club. Before, we only film on one side since we only have one camera. But since I'm the new elected club president, I always do my best in every show our club will perform in the future" she said
"The same goes for me. Being a club president is a huge responsibility. We always need to think what's best for the club and for our members" I said and she nodded
"Yeah. But at least we're happy right?" She asked and I nodded as well
"You have a point" I replied
We then bid our goodbyes and I went back to the clubroom with Taehyun
We arrived at the clubroom and I can't find Yuna inside
"She went out for a bit. She'll be back" Ryujin said as she saw me looking all over the clubroom
"Did you checked your film?" I asked and they nodded
"The editing team, finish it as soon as possible. They need the finished product by the end of the month" I said
"Yes mam" Yeji-unnie said and smiled at me
They took the camera and remove the card to extract the file to the computer and since they're four in their team, Yeji-unnie split the task for each one. Everyone has been doing a great job and it's only up to the editing team to finished this project.
I sat down on the chair and felt dozing off
"You can sleep. We'll wake you up when it's time to go home" Taehyun said and handed me a small pillow. We have pillows at the club since the guys from our club sleeps here when they're drunk
I put the pillow on top of the table and rested my head on it. I closed my eyes and went to my dreamland.
I woke up when I fekt someone stroking my palms. I groaned before I lifted my head and to see who was sitting beside me
"Hi unnie" Yuna said and smiled at me
"We were talking when you're asleep and we decided to grab a brunch at the convenience store. Do you want to come with us?" She asked
"Or you can stay here if you want and I'll stay with you. We can just ask the unnies to buy us some snacks" she added
"No. Let's go with them." I said as I hold her hand and smiled at her
"Finally. The boss is awake" Kai said
"Let's go. I'm starving" Yeonjun added
"You'll treat me right?" Taehyun said as he put his arms on Yeonjun and Kai's shoulder
"Chae, Yuna, let's go" Lia unnie said and we followed
We were walking behind the others as we watched them play like kids
"Unnie, haven't you notice?" Yuna asked and I looked at her
"Notice what?" I asked
"We look like their parents whenever we walk behind them. See, they're like children playing and the two of us are watching over them" she said while smiling
She's thinking about kids again. I wish I could already give her a child of her own. I hold her hand and intertwined it with my fingers
"Do you want to go back to the orphanage and play with the kids again?" I asked her
"Of course I want to go back there. But we have classes and it's not our vacation yet" she said and shrugged her shoulders
"Then we'll visit then once we have our vacation again" I said
"Really?" She asked while smiling widely and I gave her a nod which made her hug me
"Thank you love" she said
"I'll give you anything that'll make you happy love" I said and she hugged me tighter
"I love you" she whispered and kissed my shoulder before letting go of the hug
We continue to follow the other and eat some snacks at the convenience store before heading back to the club room
"I'll go home with Ryujin later hmm? Don't wait for me" I told her before entering the clubroom
"Why?" She asked
"She's asking for my help on her homework and we're going to the library. I'm sure it will take us a ehile before we can finish" I said and she nodded
"Hey you lovebirds. You can talk inside the room. Promise we won't eavesdrop" Ryujin said teasingly
We're currently doing nothing since the editing team is the only ones left to do the job and I'm just waiting for them to call me if they need help but probably they won't since Yeji-unnie's leading them.
"Chae, let's go to the bathroom" Lia unnie said as she pulled me
"Let me borrow your girlfriend for a minute" she told Yuna before we got out of the clubroom
"So how's your relationship with Yuna?" She asked as soon as we arrived at the bathroom
"We're okay" I said
"Relationship is not always 'okay' you know" she said
"Well, she got mad once and she didn't want to talk to me when she walked me home" I said and Lia-unnie went closer to me
"Unnie, did you drag me hear so we can gossip? Aren't you going to use the bathroom?" I ask and she shook her head
"Yes is my answer to your first question" she said and smiled at me
"Why did she got mad?" She asked
"She got jelous seeing Taehyun with me" I said while fidgeting my finger
"Well that's expected. Yuna knew that Taehyun had feelings for you before and who knows, maybe that feelings is still there. That's a given that she'll get jelous" she said
"Just give her assurance that she's the only one you have eyes for" she added
"I'll tell you something. But this should be a secret between us okay?" She said and I nodded.
"Yeji has been jelous over Ryujin before" she said which made me surprised
"What? Are you serious?" I asked and she nodded
"You know how clingy Ryujin is towards me but she always tease you and Yeji" she added
"She got mad at me and we even had a fight. But in the end, I explained everything to her and assures her that my heart only belongs to her" she said
"I don't want to have a fight with Yuna" I said
"That's why I told you this. You need to talk things out to Yuna so she won't get confused" she said and I nodded
"Thank you unnie" I said and smiled at her
We head back to the clubroom and I sat beside Yuna
"Yuna, do you want to have dinner later together?" I asked
"We can have dinner after I'm done helping Ryu" I added
"Where do you want to eat?" I ask and it took her a minute before she respond
"Let's eat at your apartment" she said
"What do you want to eat. I'll order it" I said and she leaned closer to me
"You" she whispered to my ear which gave me shivers. I can feel my cheeks burning up but I need to compose myself
I stood up from my seat
"Let's wrap it up for now guys. You can go home now" I said and they obeyed. They turned off the computers and fix their things
"Ryu, we can go now" I called for Ryujin and she nodded
The others were quick to got out of the room leaving me and Yuna who's still fixing her stuffs in the room
"Then, let's meet at my apartment. I'll be waiting" I said and kissed her head before leaving her alone
