HARMONYS POV
"How did we get like this? We're almost as close as strangers" I whispered into the silence and got up and left.
That was the hardest thing I've had to do in the past year.
Michael was apart of me, something I couldn't just throw away. Everyone knew I was lying when I said I was over it. I still loved him. I continued the night like nothing had happened. It wasn't fair to Emily or the boys if I just played the victim.
"Hey Harm! Having fun?" Ashton asked me and handed me a cup full of some liquor.
"Yeah I'm doing good!" I smiled and lied.
"Good! Have you seen Michael anywhere? He left randomly and I haven't seen him since" Ashton told me with a worried expression.
"Oh no, I haven't seen him" I lie again.
"I can go look if you want?"
Ashton's smile already tells me the answer. "Yeah, that'd be great" he gives me a hug and I make my way back into the crowded house and start my search. The upper level is empty and all the doors are closed, the only thing I hear is the faint sound of the new All Time Low album, I remember the concert we never went to.
I open the door to see Michael laying down facing the wall, I can hear sniffles but no sobs. My eyes start to fill with tears as I look at all the pictures we have together still in my room. I tip toe to the bed and crawl in beside him and he jumps with surprise.
"Shhh..it's me, relax" I hold him tightly and he relaxes in my arms.
"It was a misunderstanding, I lov-"
"Shh, we'll talk another time. Just relax" I held him tighter until he calmed down and finally went to sleep, the only thing he hasn't had in weeks.
After what felt like hours had passed, I looked at the clock and it had only been 20 minutes. I slowly got up and quietly left the room to enjoy the party, or at least pretend too.
EMILYS POV
I hug Luke again for the millionth time tonight as we talk about tour and my classes.
"I'm so proud of you, happy birthday babe" he smiled and kisses me
"Well I wouldn't be here without you"
"Hey guys!!" Ashton and Calum and Sam come walking over to us and pour us some more to our drink.
"Has anyone seen Harmony?" Sam asked and everyone shakes their head. But Ashton just stares at the ground pretending not to hear.
"Ash, wanna help me grab our stuff from the car?" Luke asks after noticing him being weird and they leave me, Calum and Sam alone in silence while everyone around us is going crazy.
ASHTONS POV
"So what should I grab first?" I ask Luke as I open up the trunk.
"I don't care I actually brought you out here because I know you know where harmony and Michael are" he smiled and looks my way from the front hood.
"He was crying earlier and then he just disappeared, i didn't know what to do so I told Harmony and she went inside and never came out" I sighed after telling the truth.
"Oh, do you know where they are now?" He looked my way confused.
"No, they're so broken without each other, I don't even know what to do anymore, he's my best mate and so is she. They need to be together man, fuck that Sam dude" I whispered and Luke laughed.
"Yeah, he doesn't deserve her. Michael and her are meant for each other" he rubbed his eyes and took our bags.
"Let's go find them shall we?" Luke smiled and walked inside leaving me smiling.
Maybe Mikey would be back sooner than we thought.
