(Sierras Pov)
I lie in Draco's bed with the memories of last night flooding through my head. I look behind me and Draco was still asleep. I smile knowing he stayed with me through the night.
I suddenly feel his arm around me and I lean back into him.
"Good morning love." He said in a tired voice.
"Good morning." I replied yawning.
Draco's morning voice was hot. It was deeper then usual with a slight touch of rasp.
He puts both arms around me and leans his head on my shoulder.
"I wanna lay here with you forever." He said.
"Me too, but we have class."
"Five minutes." He said.
I bring him arm closer to me and notice his dark mark. I've never gotten a chance to properly look at it. I lightly run my fingers over it and he quickly pulls his arm away.
"DON'T TOUCH." He yells which causes me to flinch.
"I- I'm so sorry." I stuttered.
"Shit, I didn't mean to yell Sierra."
"No that's okay I should have asked." I said.
He sat up and put his face in his hands.
"No it's my fault it's just, sensitive."
Draco then got out of bed and headed into the washroom. I got up and headed into the closet to grab my clothes.
I wonder what Mattheos up to I haven't got the chance to see him yet.
"Draco are you ready? Let's go." He walked out of the washroom and we left to the great hall.
We sat down and everyone was already there, except Mattheo.
"Where's Mattheo? I asked Theo because they share a dorm.
"He's not coming, he'll be in class though."
"How's he gonna eat then." Theo shrugged his shoulders.
"Don't worry about him, he can handle himself." Said Draco.
"Of course you would say that. You don't like me talking to him."
"No it's not that and trust me when I say, it's better you don't get too close to him okay."
"Why would you fucking say that." I said.
"It's not my business to tell you." He said back.
I looked back at my food and continued eating.
We walked into potions and sat down.
"Glad to see you back Mr. Malfoy. I believe your father has told you to meet me after class."
"Yes professor."
"Ooooo are you in trouble." I said nudging him."
"No it's just about learning new spells now that I'm Death eater you know." I nodded.
"So how did it feel getting the mark."
"Can you stop fucking bringing it up."
He snapped.
"God Im sorry." I said raising my hands. The rest of the class was awkward then the bell finally rang.
Draco stayed behind and I walked to the COMC with Harry guys.
"Someone's in a pissy mood today." Said Ron.
"Draco's always in a pissy mood." Harry replied.
"So what was it that you brought up for him to get so defensive over?" Asked Hermione.
"It doesn't matter just something about his time at home."
The rest of class quickly passed but Lorenzo wasn't there. He's probably with Draco in Snapes room. The bell rang and I walked to DADA. Mattheo and Draco were already there and left a chair between them, so I sat down.
"Mattheo how are you? I feel like it's been forever." I gave him a hug that lasted 3 seconds because he pulled away.
"I'm okay how have you been."
"Just the same as usual." He nodded then went back to his work.
"Mattheo? Are you alright."
"Ya I'm fine why?"
"I don't know you just have a whole new vibe."
"Well maybe it's because I'm a fucking death eater."
"I'm so sorry Mattheo I didn't mean to push."
"Something really bad must have happened for you guys both to act this way when I bring it up."
"Just leave it alone Sierra." Draco said using Legilimency.
Mattheo stayed silent and so did I.
Me and Pansy practiced Legilimency when they were gone. I'm not the best at it but I'm learning.
"So are you happy to be back?" I asked Mattheo trying to make conversation. He just nodded his head and looked down.
"I told you not to get to close to him." Said Draco. I sighed and went back to my work.
(Mattheos Pov)
I hate this. I hate every minute of this. I want to talk to her, I wanna answer her questions but I just can't do it. I have to keep my distance.
"Mattheo what did you get for this question?"
I showed her my paper and didn't say a word.
I felt so guilty. Even earlier when she gave me a hug. It took lots of self control to pull away that fast.
"Draco do something." I said using Legilimency.
"What am I supposed to do, she keeps on asking me about the mark too."
The bell rang and I headed to my dorm.
I sat on the bed and looked over some spells Snape taught us until I hear a knock at my door. It's Draco.
He walks in and sits on my bed.
"Mattheo you need to tell Sierra the reason why your ignoring her."
"Draco I can't tell her and you know that."
"She keeps asking me about you. The entire time we walked to her dorm she wouldn't shut up." I smirk to myself.
Just the thought that she cares so much makes me happy.
"Don't fucking smirk it's not funny." Snarled Draco.
"Your telling her today Mattheo. Don't you care about her. She won't admit it but she's an over thinker, she thinks your mad at her."
"I'm not, I just don't wanna talk about it." I sighed.
There was a moment of silence before Draco spoke again.
"Remember when we were kids, all of us. And we used to run around the house while our parents were off doing adulty things." Said Draco.
"Ya we used to always ask what they where they were going and they would never tell us." I said laughing.
"We're almost those adults now Mattheo."
"I know." I said sadly.
Another silence occurred till I asked him a question I've been dying to know.
"Draco do you hate me?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean we argue a lot and get into fist fights. Over nothing."
"Ya that's true but at the end of the day." And then he stopped.
"At the end of the day what?" I said smiling knowing what he was about to let slip.
"I don't hate you whatever man." Draco replied.
"Awww love you too." I said blowing him a kiss.
Draco shoved me off the bed.
"Draco can I ask you something else?"
"What now Mattheo."
"Why is it so hard for you to express your emotions." He stayed silent for a bit.
"I don't know Mattheo."
"Like that day you fucked Sierra for the first time. You totally played it off like you used her. You just can't admit you actually like her."
"Ya I know I fucked up."
"And she fucking heard you to that's why she was so pissed."
"I know I feel really bad."
"I knew she was listening, I didn't say anything because I was mad you fucked her before me."
"So your saying that whole thing could have been avoided if you had just told me?"
"Pretty much." I said back.
"We always do this to each other, try to make each other's lives hell." He said.
"It's always over a girl too." I replied.
"Ya but Sierras different."
"I know." I replied.
"You know when all of us got in a huge argument and I ran to the washroom."
"Ya." I replied.
"Well she followed me in and I cried my fucking eyes out in front of her. I told her to leave me alone, over and over but she just wouldn't stop."
"She's a very persistent girl." I said.
"Ya and then I told her everything, about my dad, and just how shitty my home life is."
"What did she say?"
"She just said she was sorry and held me as I sat on the floor and sobbed."
"Well atleast she didn't make fun of you."
"But the thing is, I felt so vulnerable but safe. Mattheo she makes me feel safe."
"Do you think if we talk like this more often we would have less arguments?"
"Ya but it's not in our blood. I said.
"Well anyways I just came here to warn you that Sierra will come and talk to you by the end of the day so make sure you get your story straight."
"Did she say she was coming?" I asked.
"She didn't say it but you know she will. She's not afraid to ask questions."
"God she's perfect. Which is why this whole distancing thing is so hard. I said.
"Well I'm gonna go now but remember what I said."
Draco walked to the door and I followed him.
"Draco, i'm not gonna go for her anymore, officially." I said.
"I don't know what to say Mattheo, honestly I'm relieved but I feel guilty."
"Don't feel guilty Draco." He nodded at me and started walking.
But I stopped him.
"What is it Mattheo?"
I took a second to collect my thoughts before I spoke.
"Just treat her well for me okay."
"Of course Mattheo."
