Alyssa has been sitting in silence for 10 minutes. The room was filled with laughter and the screams of children. Alyssa was used to this but it was always so annoying.

There would boys who would flirt or act dumb to make their friends laugh; Girls who would gossip and ship other students with another. Alyssa was always there, watching and listening to every conversation they have. Gossips, ships, secrets..everything

Alyssa never had luck making friends nor making an effort to. She liked being alone and found it very annoying when people act all nice to her. She just wanted to be treated the same way everyone treats their friends...minus the flirty boys that come up to her because of a dare.

Alyssa has beautiful golden locks, matched with beautiful light brown eyes. She had a butterfly clip to lift up her annoying bangs. She was about 5.6 in a half. Alyssa was a junior in high school. She was one of the smartest people in her class since well, she has a lot of free time.

Alyssa was snapped out of her thoughts by the sound of the classroom bell. Still, the room was still the same noise as before. Alyssa wasn't surprise that no one heard the bell. She barely heard the bell herself. And she pays attention very closely.

Just then the teacher walked in and immediately scolded everyone. Alyssa chuckled at the amusement she happens to find everyday. It was the same thing everyday, but it was always so entertaining every time.

The lesson had begun

Alyssa was always ahead of everyone, except the teacher of course. She had a lot of time to spare so she just daydreams or pays attention to the girls passing notes to each other, giggling at the reply's.

Alyssa fiddles with her pencil, sometimes chews on her eraser on accident, and always gets snapped back into reality when the teacher shouts at a student to be quiet. Alyssa sighs and continues on fiddling—paying no attention to what's happening around her.
Why would she? It's nothing interesting. Just the same thing over and over again.

The bell rang and everyone rushed out of the classroom. Alyssa took her time and left leaving  about 7 students in the classroom still. Those who were waiting were people waiting for their friends or just extremely slow. Alyssa would never do that. That'd be a bad example to the childish freshman's looking at the older people.

Never would she dreamed to wait for people to leave with them...at least as so she thought.

A few periods later, the students were assigned to join a club. Alyssa wouldn't have to worry about this; however, this one student ratted her out. The teachers never noticed Alyssa and didn't even realize that she hasn't joined a club or participate in any situations whatsoever.

Everyone immediately looked at Alyssa in worrying-faces. They felt sorry that they left Alyssa out and thanked the student who noticed Alyssa. Alyssa secretly rolled her eyes of annoyance.

"Let the acting begin" Alyssa sighed

Alyssa faced the eyes that were practically suffocating her. She didn't liked being the center of attention. She didn't liked seeing multiple pairs of eyes watching her every stance. And Alyssa took a note on that.

She was cautious of what she was doing. That's why no one knew she had been acting for years now. Alyssa knows she's good on acting, because some of  the juniors in her class were from middle school and she did the same acting as she is doing now.

Alyssa gave them an assuring smile and said, "It's alright.", she began, "I don't mind. I found it quite funny to be honest!" Alyssa giggled.

Everyone stared at Alyssa with the face that a dog lover would give to a newly brown pup. Everyone was glad Alyssa was okay and wasn't upset. Some of the girls found Alyssa "precious" or "always forgiving."

Little did everyone know that this was all acting. Ha! Even the teacher was fooled!! Alyssa swore she heard the teacher sayibg under her breath, "This is why we need more people like you." Alyssa would've laughed right then and there but knew she couldn't.

The teacher kept lecturing the class for about 10 minutes or so on how we act when we are introduced to a club. "You must be respectful" something like that. Everyone knows no one is going to listen to that. And Alyssa is one of them. She keep the comments in her mind though.

Finally, the teacher escorted us to the clubs and handed out the list of clubs. The clubs listed: A Gaming Club , A Comic Club, A Newspaper Club ,A Martial Arts Club, A Literature Club , and more.

There was one that peeked her interest.

The Art Club

"Art?" , Alyssa thought, "Why is there an art club? I don't really see anyone drawling except this one student that I don't really recall."

Alyssa shrugged it off and continue her quest to find a club she had to join because of this one particular student. She swore under her breath just thinking about her.

Every student had 5 minutes to check out a club then rotate. That's how the system works in practically every single school.

After about 25 minutes, everyone visited every club. Everyone uses the rest of the 10 minutes to chat. She didn't. Alyssa happened to realized everyone skipped this one club, The Art club.

Alyssa founded interesting that no one even dared to go over to the club. Heck, no one even looked at it which made Alyssa interested more and more. Alyssa walked over to the Art Club and was amazed at the sight. Everything was so beautifully organized! And Alyssa was all in for it.

The sign was beautifully well-made and little splattered colored paints on the sign. The sign had the word "Art Club" in bubbled letters. The shading was beautifully handled— whoever made this, knew what they were doing.

Alyssa then noticed a poster hanging from the door. "How did I miss this!?" Alyssa screamed in her mind. She was embarrassed she hadn't seen the poster that was right in front of her. She started to read what was on the poster.

The poster just listed the time and activities they do. The time started at the end of school on September 12th at the time of at least 3:50. The club ends at 4:20. Of course there were rules that are required:

1) Don't be to late that it's almost the end of the club
2) Don't criticize other people's Art.
-you may instead offer techniques that would help the other person.
3) Have fun!
4) Enjoy your stay.

P.S: you may quit whenever you want

Alyssa blinked twice realizing the weird lettering at the end. "What?" Alyssa questioned. Alyssa was practically dumbfounded until a person bumped into her. Alyssa just got flinched while the other went flying sending a paper she was holding flying as well.

Alyssa had an "ooo" face. It looked liked it hurt so of course she'd feel bad. Alyssa sighed that she has to be acting again and offered the other a hand. The other student willingly took her hand and apologized.

The student looked familiar as soon as she stood up. That's when it hit her. She was Kiyochi!

Kiyochi was that one extremely energetic and loud student. She loved making people laugh and was never seen with a frown. She does rant a lot but people say that's the fun in all of that.
Kiyochi had dark brown hair that is always mistaken for black hair—in the sun, you could tell that it's brown. It's a beautiful color of brown though. It goes well with her eyes. Her eyes were dark brown but in the sunlight, it looks like hazel eyes. She always wore long socks and people say it's because of her leg-hair.
I wouldn't blame her though, it's a pain to shave constantly.

Alyssa soon realized that Kiyochi was in her 3 of her classes. She hadn't realized because of everyone screaming over another. It was kind of hard to pin-point who's voices are who's.

Kiyochi gasped which caused Alyssa to look at her. She looked like a dog that realized her owner had come back.

"Omg! You're that one quiet student!!"  She exclaimed

Everyone turned to the two. She hated that. But for some reason, Alyssa didn't mind that kiyochi yelled. She found it quite..nice?..funny?..comforting?? She shrugged it off thinking that she was finally treated like normal. She looked back at Kiyochi and she didn't have her usual look.

For a split second, she looked sad...

"Sorry!" Kiyochi apologized still screaming but not so loud.

Everyone returned to what they were doing.

Alyssa looked back at Kiyochi and stared at her. Kiyochi then looked back at Alyssa and their eyes met. They immediately looked away out of awkwardness.

"I have to go." Kiyochi said trying to start a quick conversation.
She quickly waved goodbye and ran right past me.

"Weird.." Alyssa thought. She quickly noticed that Kiyochi dropped the paper she was holding before. Alyssa didn't want to be nosy but happened to read what the paper said.

The Art Club's Poster

Alyssa's eyes widened for a little bit for some reason. She didn't know why. Alyssa had a sudden urge to see Kiyochi again. Alyssa couldn't believed she was doing this..she signed up for The Art Club.
