"This party's boring" I sighed to a person I somewhat know.
"Tell me about it" they said. "I know they're gonna make us waltz or something"
"I hope not"
I played with my tie and watched the other people dance and talk with each other.
We had to wear either a suit or a dress.
The door soon opened and I was expecting to see the host but instead I saw a group of 4 punks.
One of them, who looked like he was the leader, locked eyes with me and winked.
I looked down and the person next to me chuckled.
The leader of the punks had black messy hair and hazel eyes. He also had a black eye.
His friends looked as beat up as he did.
Soon the slow music started playing, indicating that is was time for waltz.
I could hear the sound of combat boots hitting wood and it was coming closer.
"Do you want to dance?" A voice asked.
I lifted my gaze from the floor to see the punk.
He reached his hand out for me and I took it.
"Sure" I mumbled.
He pulled me closer to him and placed his other hand on my waist gently before taking my hand in his.
"What's your name?" He asked quietly.
"I'm Y/N" I said.
"I'm Gerard Way"
My eyes met his again and this time he smiled at me.
His hands were soft and he was being super gentle.
He glanced around and nodded to one of his friends.
"Do you wanna get out of here?" He asked.
"Yeah" I said.
He took his hands off me before grabbing my wrist and dragging me out quickly.
"Everyone had fun?" Gerard asked his friends.
"Nah that shit was boring" the tall curly haired one said.
"We should find a better party to crash" the short one said.
"Oh yeah you're right" Gerard sighed.
"Now who's this handsome fella?" The last guy asked.
"That's Y/N"
"Hi, I'm Mikey"
"He's my brother" Gerard said. "That's Frank and that's Ray" he pointed to the other 2.
"There's a club nearby, we could go there" I suggested.
"A club? we don't know any clubs nearby" Frank said.
"It's hidden"
I started leading the group to a small club in the not busy part of town.
"Now this is what I'm talkin' about" Frank said as we walked into the club.
"Alright guys, time to have some fun" Gerard said. "C'mon Y/N"
He grabbed my hand and took me to buy some drinks.
"So darling, tell me about yourself"
"Uhm, well, I'm 25, I like art and rock music, I'm- I'm uhh gay and well I know good hidden places around town" I listed.
I saw Gerard's eyes spark up as I said the word 'gay'.
"So what do you want to drink?" He asked. "It's on me"
"I'll just have some beer"
"Alright, 2 beers please!"
The bartender grabbed us a our beers and uncorked the bottles.
"Thank you"
After a couple beers I was wasted.
"Gerard, I want to kiss you, like so bad" I said, grabbing onto his leather jacket.
He smiled in surprise before pulling me into a kiss.
"Hey guys" Ray said.
Our lips separated and we turned to look at him.
He looked confused.
"We have to leave"
Gerard grabbed me tightly and lifted me into the air.
He held me bridal style and turned to look at Ray.
"My apartment is the closest" he said.
Ray found Frank and Mikey and we went to Gerard's apartment.
I was half asleep when we got there so I don't remember much.
All I know is that Gerard took me to his bed and laid down next to me.
I woke up in the morning to the sun shining through the blinds.
"Oh jesus" I sighed, looking around.
"Morning" Gerard yawned.
"What happened last night?"
"Well you got drunk and we-"
"We didn't do have sex, did we?"
"No! We kissed that's all"
"What?" I let out in surprise.
"You said and I quote "Gerard, I want to kiss you, like so bad" so I gave you what you wanted" He smiled. "Drunk words, sober thoughts"
Gerard was right, I wanted to kiss him from the moment I saw him on the dance floor last night.
I blushed and covered my face with my hands.
"Aww, don't get shy now! You were so confident last night!" He said.
"I'm not confident, I was pretending" I sighed.
"Well you looked real confident to me"
"Good"
I turned to face him and he smiled at me.
"I was wondering if you'd wanna go out with me sometime?" He asked, suddenly sounding shy and nervous.
"Yeah sure" I said. "You're pretty cute"
