"Sorry for being late,Lord Vall"Valice bow down upon entering the room while Yaya stood still and felt nervous looking at the unknown persons around her.
"It's okay Lady Valice.Now let's begin to the discussion.You see Miss Yah,you can no longer go back to your own world for we can't ensure your safety.Demons are everywhere on the human realm,doing havoc.Having the ability to see and hear us is incredible prior for being a human and not an Etherian,also because of this,we know for sure that those demon will come after you."Lord Vall stated, waiting for the girl Infront of them to process the information she got.
"H-hold on a minute!What do you mean about demons?They aren't real.Am I not in earth?How about my family? Aren't those you said demons are going to get them?"Yaya bombarded them with her questions as Kylin place his hands Infront of him.
"Easy dear child.To answer your question, First,your not in the human realm anymore.Second,demons are real and they were our greatest enemy and third,your family is okay we have already sended them a letter regarding of your status here and demons can't reach them for they can't see them nor hear"he explains as Yaya nod at this and kylin face the others inside the room.
"So let's start the discussion about her entrance exam now"he said as Yaya perked up at this and look at them confusedly but refuse to say something.Lord Vall notice this as he look at her and smile.
"I assume you have something on your mind,right?"
"Yeah I do.Whats the reason for this entrance exam.Is it written right?"she ask as someone stepped in besides kylin.
"The reason for this exam is to decide if you were worthy of entering the academy.You see it takes two to three years of paper process before you could secure a place in the academy.Even the noble families needs to wait for the processing,and in your state we were taking you into consideration.It is written if you were putted in the development department but Lord Kylin insist that we will put you at the same program with the others"Headmaster Tarung explain while giving each glances at kylin at the girl Infront of him.
"You should have think of an another way though,if it's bothering you to enroll me in this academy"Yaya said refusing to roll her eyes as her gaze fell on the pink haired girl on the corner.Pink and green eyes meet as they have a little staring contest on each other.
"Do you have any idea on how you spend your life here Etheria?"tarung ask, breaking Yaya from her staring contest as she think of a plan but nothing comes to her mind.
"Uhh I don't have any"she said as lord Vall stepped in.
"Then be my servant!"he bluntly while grinning while Yaya widen her eyes at this.
"No, forget about it.I will participate the exam anyway then.I don't want to be any servant you know"she said as Kylin chuckle at this.
"So what's sort of things are you good though?Do you have some special skills in handling swords,bow or even a spear?".
"Uhh I don't have any"Yaya replied,though she's good at singing and solving math problems.
"I knew you would say that.Lady Claudette please stepped forward"upon hearing her name,the pink haired girl stepped forward and glare her green eyes at YaYa's direction.
"What is she doing in here?"Valice spoke for the first time they arrive.
"A duel"
All of them look at his direction with widen eyes as Yaya stop herself from fainting."A duel"he repeated.
"I don't understand.What's the need of the duel?"Valice asked confusion written on her face.
"You see,it's the only best way we have and besides we can see yaya's full potential in this so why not"he said while crossing his arms as Yaya raise her hands nervously.
"Duel!You mean like a combat ri-"Yaya didn't finish her words when the pink haired girl interfere.
"Do fighting scare you?"the pink haired lady known as Claudette ask, rasing her right brow at her.
"C……can't we just settle this peacefully?"she asked and started to sweat.
"I can't believe this.Im fighting a wimp human.Look you can't change lord Vall's and the headmaster decision though so why not just agree to it already so I could go back to my residence"she said crossing her arms as Yaya felt her forehead covered in sweats.
"I…I am not a wimp.I accept the duel,I'll show you what this you human can do"she said while pointing her finger at Claudette direction who only scoffed at her.
"This girl.She's getting on my nerves"
"Then it settled.Miss Yaya and Lady Claudette duel will be held at academy arena tomorrow morning.Everyone you can leave now.Lady Valice as she was your responsibility,could you please make miss Yaya aquatinted with the academy regulations and policies"headmaster Tarung said as Valice nod and took Yaya with her and leave.
"Uhm excuse me lady Valice.Am I really fighting that girl?She seems to dangerous"Yaya said while following the woman as she look at her then smiled."Don't worry, Claudette is just a spoiled brat that's why.Im so happy you know and worried at the same time"she said as Yaya was confused at this.
"Why is it though?"
"I'm happy because your alive and could study at the academy and worried for your fight with her"she said as Yaya sweat drop at this.THer eyes roam the whole place around her.The ground she was stepping on was made of concrete tile and ended three steps away from her own position.It was replaced by a lush,green grass that was evenly trimmed.A marble of granite fountains stood in the middle of area.The place was full of different student with the same uniform, making her eyes widen in surprise.
"Welcome to the Tapops Etheria Academe"
"Huh?"
"Tapops Haki Academy"Valice spoke.
Yaya was so mesmerized at the view around her when someone bumped into her as both of them fall on the ground.She instantly groan and glare at the person who bumped at her but her glare disappeared when she saw a man with a pair of crimson eyes stare at her worriedly.
"I am sorry not noticing you,my lady"he said as he stood up and offer his hands for her.She took it immediately and felt his soft and big hands engulfed her small ones.She dusted her clothes and look at the young man Infront of her.She notice he has raven spikey hair and a wear a visors.His uniform is different from the others as she felt some eyes were watching them.
"He's definitely handsome"
"What's your name my lady?"the man asked as Yaya cleared her thoughts and face the young man with a smile.
"The name is Yaya Yah"she introduced as the man nod at this.
"Fang Von de la Colvin.The second-ranker my lady"the man known as fang said as Yaya irked a brow at the weird surname.
"Ahem"Valice cleared her throat as Yaya almost forget that she was with her.
"Sorry lady Valice"she said as Valice only smiled and put her hands around Fang's shoulder."It's okay.So you have meet my cousin fang.Now then fang,are you too busy?I was wondering maybe you could bring Yaya to the dormitories so she could rest now"Valice said as fang glare at her.
"I am literally busy Valice.Boboiboy and ying did a mission without me so I was going to the headmaster to ask a permission to follow them"he said and look at yaya's direction and hold her hand.
"I'm sorry my lady,but I have to go.We shall see each other soon"he said as he winked at her and then kissed the back of her hand as fang then run away.
"Don't trust him Yaya.He likes to flirt with every girls in the school.The only one who's not affected in his charm is the third-ranker.Come we must go to the dormitories now"she said as they went inside and walk through series of halls and eventually saw someone walking along the corridor while reading a book.
"Ohh Sheilda,it's great that I saw you here"Valice said as the said person dropped her book and look at them.
"If it's isn't lady Valice.Its nice seeing you in here in the academy my lady"the woman said as Valice smile and motion for yaya to come over.
"Shielda,could you please take Yaya to the dormitories.I have some important things to do right now.I hope you weren't busy"she said as the woman named sheilda shakes her head.
"It's okay my lady,I am not busy though",she replied as Valice smiled and push Yaya towards her.
"Your leaving me?"
"I will be back Yaya.Ill get someone to get you later,for now have some rest first okay?You still have a duel to attend tomorrow"she said and then leave, leaving the two woman standing on the hallway.
"Come Yaya,this way to the female dormitories"sheilda said while leading the way while Yaya followed her shortly.
"If may I ask,your the human that would be fighting Claudette tomorrow right?"she asked as Yaya nod her head.
"If your feeling nervous about the fight,you don't have to worry.As one of the rankers, Claudette weakness is someone who insult her hair.She lost her control and eventually you can see some openings in her attacks.That maybe could help you"she said as Yaya smiled and hold her hand.
"Thank you Sheilda.It help me though even i don't know how to use sword.Do you mind if I ask?"she said as sheilda waited for her to speak.
"What do you mean by rankers?Does all of the students here and ranked?"she asked as sheilda lightly chuckle at this and face her.
"No Yaya,we our called the celestial circle"sheilda said as Yaya raise her brows at this.Somewha5 confuse at the unfamiliar word.
"Celestial circle is comprised of ten people under the knights wing.They say we are so far the best of the best.I am currently the seventh ranker and you should know that Claudette is the sixth ranker"she said as Yaya jaw dropped at this, causing for sheilda to laugh at this and stay stop outside of a huge oak door.
"This is your room.The other students are like in their classes or in those rooms.So I will be leaving now,I have to meet my brother"she said as Yaya waved her off and sigh.
"I should have chosen the slavery"she said to her self.
"Then you want to serve me for the rest of your life?"a voice come from her back as she saw lord Vall standing their while grinning at her.
"I didn't recall you saying that"she said and open her room and closed the door with a banged.
"I just want to sleep this all now"she said as she climbed at the queen size bed and flopped down on it.
