Zane and Wu was on top of a bolder looking at a island that was not there before "Hmm, most peculiar. yesterday there was just ocean, but now there is an island." Zane said in confusion "the Dark Island, Zane. and what I find more peculiar is after ninjago city was attacked by the stone army today they have vanished." Wu said "do you think they are on this dark island? garmadon may be responsible." Zane said "I fear that too. but what's most important is we have to find out what is on that island." Wu said "perhaps my falcon can have a look." Zane said letting the falcon fly towards the dark island
meanwhile on the bounty

we can hear banging of a hammer and cranking of a wrench we can see jay fixing the bounty but sadly jay broke a pipe getting oil all over him "ugh, useless pile of junk." jay said "Oh, it's worse than I feared. the rotors on the starboard booster are completely destroyed. the port booster's are shot from the strain. oh, sorry guys, she's not getting airborne anytime soon." Nya said to the ninjas "so if the stone army attacks again we're sitting ducks." Cole said "Uh, duck can fly, Cole. weren't you listening?" jay said "we just got our tail handed to us and we couldn't even stop one of them. h, i hate feeling helpless." kai said sadly "we mustn't give up hope, kai." Wu said "But the stone army is indestructible. heck even out serpentine power did nothing. you saw it. at best, all my powers could do was slow them down." Lloyd said "that's not entirely true. there is a wat to defeat them. and it told within the scrolls." misako said
in the bounty
misako unrolled a scroll
"the prophecy reveals that the power to defeat the stone army lies within the green ninja." misako said " I tried I gave them everything I had." Lloyd said "Yes, but you are stronger then you think. look. the true power of the green ninja can only be unlocked when his four protectors find their own pure elemental power." said misako "are we the protectors?" Cole ask the obvious "Pfft, silly question. of course we are, ha, ha. right? " jay asked " if we are the protectors then we're doomed. our elemental golden weapons no longer exist. We cannot tap into our elemental powers without them." Zane said "but the powers do exist within each of you. and there is a way to unlock your powers on your own. we must go to the temple of light." misako said "temple of light? what's that?" Nya asked "the gold in the golden weapons was from the golden peaks but they were forged in the temple of light..." misako then unroll another scroll
"... a powerful place I thought only existed in legends." misako said "it's on the dark island?" Wu said "I think our only choice is to find out." misako said "so we get our powers back? All right!" Cole cheered " But there's still one big problem. the bounty can't fly." Nya said " It's a ship, right? Can't it sail?" misako "silly question. Of course it can. Ha, Ha. Right?" the scene then change to the bounty in the water next to the dock the crowd was cheering and the ninja saying goodbye to there love ones jay parents keep babying him telling him to eat vegetables Cole father sang a song for Cole and Cole thought "it was the sweetest he heard" and kai dubbed as the honorary brown ninja and to protect ninjago and look after the ultra dragon and he can control the wind (morro sneezed) while Zane was sadly looking on "is there anyone you would like to say goodbye to?" Wu asked Zane "my only family is my falcon and my only memory of my father was nearly erased. I will miss ninjago for it is all I know, but I am excited to see what the future has in store." Zane said "well, my nindroid friend, there are a few people who would like to say goodbye to you." Wu said as Zane saw 5 fangirls holding signs with Zane name with hearts Wu laugh at the fans and Zane smile at the girls then the comic book store owner push pass the girls and said "i love you, you stupid nindroid." Zane smile then turn to Wu and Wu turned to the crowd "Pupils, it's time we set sail." the ninjas walk onto the ship and started to ready the ship for departure when setting off dearth was saying he was moving the ship with his wind even though he was not the civilians was waving goodbye to the ninjas and jay mum asking if jay has clean underwear jay saying yes in embarrassment and the other laughing at him
time skip
we see the bounty sailing with a sunset in the background and the team (except Zane as he was below deck) is on the front deck "we still have a long journey ahead of us." Wu said Zane then appear on deck looking sad "still no word from your falcon?" Cole ask "not yet." zane said the ninja look at Zane sadly then looked out into the sea "i wonder what's on the island?" kai asked "An entirely new ecosystem?"zane said "Never before seen creatures?" Cole ask "OH, vegetables that taste like desserts?" jay said excitedly "I hope the stone army is there. they may've gotten the best of us once, but never again" kai said Cole and jay agreed with him "I wonder if this is the end of our destiny." Lloyd asked " If it is, there isn't anyone else I'd want by my side." kai said and yet again Cole and jay agreed Zane then got a message from his falcon showing he has made it to the dark island "my falcon has arrived at the dark island!" Zane said
time skip inside the bounty
Zane plug himself into the computer showing falcon vision on the big screen "now we can all see" the team watch the screen but sadly they saw a stone warrior shot down the falcon and this made Zane short circuit "he's gone" Zane said "we don't know that." Wu said "Oh, Zane. I'm so sorry." Nya said sincerely while helping Zane up "well, he was our friend too, so we're not gonna let him go in vain. if the stone army wants a fight, they got one." kai said "well, that's going to have to wait because right now we're sailing straight for a storm. all hands on deck." misako said
meanwhile on the dark island
garmadon has now made a base on the dark island and the stone army was mining for something, garmadon used this machine to get down to the mine
the stone army greet him "this is foolish, I have an unbeatable army to conquer ninjago. and yet we waste time playing in the mud?" "what you call mud is concentrated evil. A dark matter that with one drop could make a man's heart turn as black as night. have patience, garmadon. the celestial clock ticks backwards to doomsday and cannot be stopped. your time will come. But we must prepare. we must build a super weapon the like of which has never before been seen." the overlord said "Hmm. a super weapon? I like the sound of that!" garmadon laugh evilly
back at the bounty
they team was trying to make shore that the ship stayed in one piece but sadly that not the case the winds were too strong and not to mention they where attacked by starteeth they tore the ship sails and other part of the ship like the rudder making them unable to move where they want to go and also big hole in the side of the ship the ninjas are trying to unflood the ship when Zane sense something and it turn out to be a island with a tower and the bounty crashed into, it turn out the tower was a prison when the team was walking up the stairs they heard a growl "Oh, I should have brought an extra pair of underwear." jay said "mysterious. we better keep going." when the team got up to the door there was a camera "Uh, should we smile?" suddenly there was footsteps then a jiggle of keys and the door opened and it revealed to be Zane inventor and father "Zane? Is it really you?..." Zane was shock to see his dead father alive "...you found me!" the rest of the team wondering how he know Zane, Lloyd was the first to ask" Uh, do you know him?" " Of course I know him, I built him for heaven's sake!" Zane was still confused how he alive "but my memory tells me that you have passed." Zane said "Ah, you found your memory switch." another growl echo in the distances " hurry, it can't know that you are here or else there will be dues to pay." Zane father said jay gulp and ask "it?" "I'll explain everything inside. including why it is that you thought I was dead, I also want to know about your horns" "that a long story father" the team then enter the tower and Zane father made shore there safe for god knows what he then lead them upstairs where he pulled out his table the team then sat at the table and a robot served them tea jay tried to mess with the robot but he got instinct karma and the robot spilled hot tea on him then Zane father told him why he thought he passed it turned out that samukai revived him with a potion and force Zane father to build weapons and vehicles also locking him up in this tower and a leviathan that was the noise they heard outside also he was warried that Zane would hate him for building for bad people but Zane forgive him "so what your story why do you have horns" Zane told his father about the spell and his serpentine side " wow that is something never thought this could happen" Zane father said "well what done is done father" "hey I wondering could you repair the rocket boosters on our ship?" jay said pointing to the ship" jay asked " that sailing ship has rocket booster?" Zane father asked in shocked "well, the rotors and gears are shot." Nya was cut off by ZF (I'm shorting it to ZF)"Eh, pish posh. no matter! I'll have your ship airworthy by dawn!" suddenly the leviathan growled and made an small quake ZF knew it was the leviathan ZF made the team hide and the leviathan look through the window and saw nothing wrong and went back into the ocean "If we're gonna make something to get out of here we're gonna have hurry before it comes back. " kai said

after the bounty was ready to go, the leviathan appeared so the team had to get on the bounty quick. Nya hoping she works and started the ship and she worked they tried to escape but the leviathan wrap around the ship with his tentacles and drag the ship back down to the ocean "Lloyd, use your elemental powers!" Wu said "as you wish sensei!" Lloyd said "release us, you monster!" throwing his elemental power above the ship making the leviathan let go but not for long it grabbed the ship again Zane then noticed it chained "JAY HIPNOTISE THE LEVIATHIN!" zane said jay nodded and turn into his serpentine form "hey ugly look here" the leviathan look at jay and jay hypnotise him
"good now make him places the ship on the water" Zane said "ok? ok nice leviathan be a good leviathan and put the sship down" the leviathan put the ship down "ok now we can get away- wait Zane why" but before jay can ask Zane jumped off the boat and after a few minutes Zane came back up "jay make him lift up his tentacles" Zane said "ok? lift up you tentacles" the leviathan did what it told and when he lift up his tentacles one of them has a chain on it half of it was cut off but the cuff was still stuck on it "Cole can you use your drill to cut the cuff" Zane ask "OH of Course your helping the leviathan best way to defeat your enemy is make them your friend" Cole finally understand what Zane doing so he change to his serpentine form and used his tail drill to brake off the cuff "ok jay you can release the leviathan from you hold" Zane said jay gulped but he trust Zane "ok I'm stopping" when he did the leviathan did not noticed he was free in till he tried to attack he froze and then looked at the tentacle that had the chain and noticed the chain and cuff gone he then looked back at the ship and then disappear under the water excepted the tentacle with the eyes it wave as a way to say thank you and it swam off "farewell, creature from the sea. Enjoy your freedom." said Zane then the bounty flew off to the dark island
