Fear.
Fear of what would happen.
If I dared to open my mouth.
And speak of the mess of mental health inside me.
Fear of disappointment.
The look on my parent's faces,
When they see what has become of me.
Fear of embarrassment.
Getting told I'm being overdramatic.
Having my feelings invalidated.
Fear.
It's all that stops me, from telling people I'm not okay.
