April 28, this was a good day for a wedding.
A wedding as grand as this had not been seen in Shengjin City for more than a few decades now. The entourage following along the groom's car to pick up the bride had formed an extensive line like a long dragon. You could hardly see the tail end even if you squinted your eyes from the front. There were many onlookers around, and even the cameras following their movements were countless.
The air was filled with joy and sweetness all the way from the groom heading over to the bride's house and pick Zhan Yu up towards the formal wedding event itself,
Everyone attending the wedding were wealthy people, however, none of them dared to cause a disturbance in Lu Bai's presence, this was with the exception of Zhuang Zhe of course. After making the groom drink a few glasses of alcohol, he knew that Lu Bai babied Zhan Yu. Once Lu Bai was done with all the guest tables, he would help Zhan Yu drink half of the alcohol. So, after doing some thinking, he decided not to tease the bride. On the other hand, both the bridesmaids, Gu Tong and Zhong Jin, both helped Zhan Yu deal with a lot of the drinking. When Zhan Yu saw that the two of them were starting to appear slightly off halfway through the guest tables, only then did Zhan Yu had Lu Bai help out a little. The two of them were able to evade the many guests coming to ask for a toast this way. After the event, besides being enraptured with endless joy, Zhan Yu had also felt bottomless exhaustion.
At night, when everyone was finished playing around at the nuptial chamber, their new house finally quieted down. Zhan Yu plopped himself down on the bed without even taking off his Suit and said tiredly, "I finally understand why people say that getting married is draining!"
Zhan Yu had gotten up before the sun rose just to get his makeup done. Now that he was at the end of the entire process, his body felt like it could collapse at any moment. But still, he had to admit that when Lu Bai mouthed the tender-filled words "I do" to him, Zhan Yu was undeniably smittened.
Starting today, Zhan Yu would officially be recognized as Mrs. Lu Now, the two of them will be there for each other at their lowest, and they would go hand in hand till they grew old.

Zhan Yu turned around and sat upright to watch his husband, the latter was currently taking off his Black suit , Lu bai saw Zhan Yu's eyes what he wanted to say , so he (Lu Bai) also couldn't stop himself (Lu Bai) couldn't help but say with a big smile, " Zhan Yu, you look really handsome in a white suit too!"
Lu Bai's actions stopped for a brief moment. Instead of continuing what he was doing, he then began walking towards Zhan Yu and, with a smile, held Zhan Yu's face and gave Zhan Yu a kiss.
Zhan Yu wanted to avoid Lu Bai's sudden attack but failed to do so. Zhan Yu mumbled, "I still haven't wiped off my face and have lipstick on it."
When Lu Bai heard this, he rubbed his finger over Zhan Yu's lower lip. As expected, the tip of his finger was covered in light pink. However, when he saw that proud smile on Zhan Yu's face, he neared his face once more with a chuckle and deliberately nibbled on Zhan Yu's lips, laughing softly. "I don't mind."
The two of them laughed together, and when they finally separated, both their breaths were very unsteady.
It wasn't hard to see that Lu Bai was in a pretty good mood today. Since many guests came to them for a toast and he never refused any of them, he even gulped down a considerable amount of his portion of drinks.

This was why he was worried that these clothes might get torn apart under Lu Bai's hands when they entered the bathroom.
After all, there was a lot of precedence to take note of.
When Lu Bai heard what Zhan Yu said, He stopped moving and looked down to observe the fastened buttons on Zhan Yu's dress. Lu Bai's eyes then trailed over to the revealed section of Zhan Yu's delicate legs. Suddenly, he turned to a different direction, and while walking, he said, "If you hadn't reminded me, I would've forgotten that you wore a suit similar to that one ceremony at A Uni, as well as when you hid out in A City but it wasn't a suit but a hanfu."
However, at that time, the Zhan Yu wore had a suit or hanfu Zhan Yu doesn't remember.
The deepest impression Lu Bai had remembered of that time when he saw Zhan Yu in that outfit was how he pressed Zhan Yu down, more impulsive than usual. He tore the outfit and let Zhan Yu wrap his long, fair legs around his (Lu Bai's) own body.
Even though that idea had already been realized many times in the past, but today was a special day for them. Lu Bai's plan for tonight was that he definitely wouldn't let Zhan Yu rest early.
And so, Zhan Yu, who was suddenly pressed up against the wall, raised his head up with difficulty. He felt the sensation of Lu Bai burying his head down at his (Zhan Yu's) chest, biting down on each button to loosen the buttons. With how meticulous Lu Bai's movements were, Zhan Yu finally understood something. No wonder Lu Bai was always so fast at unbuttoning his (Zhan Yu's) clothes, because even the speed of Lu Bai doing it with only his teeth was terrifying!
Zhan Yu reached out to stroke Lu Bai's short hair that had been specially groomed for today. When Zhan Yu found that Lu Bai was deliberately giving a nibble at the front of his (Zhan Yu's) fair chest, Zhan Yu played a trick on Lu Bai as well and made a mess out of Lu Bai's handsome hairdo.
Naturally, Lu Bai noticed how Zhan Yu ruffled his head. He raised his eyes to give Zhan Yu a heavy look.
Zhan Yu was startled by the raw look in Lu Bai's eyes, one that was filled with desire. With his (Zhan Yu's) body trembling now, Lu Bai immediately drew an upward curve on his lips. "What's wrong? Did you finally realize that you're in trouble?"
Zhan Yu raised his head, sneering at Lu Bai, "As if I am!"
"Are you really sure?" After Lu Bai said this, he put on an intense smile as he reached his hand inside of Zhan Yu's Shirt.
Zhan Yu couldn't help but cry out uncomfortably, but despite this, he didn't forget to interrogate Lu Bai, "Lu Bai, tell me honestly, have you ever been with any other woman or man before me? Someone you haven't told me about?"
When Lu Bai heard this, he licked Zhan Yu's earlobe on purpose and responded leisurely in a magnetic voice, "Didn't you say you knew everything? How could you not know who my first woman or man was?"
"Mh..." While Zhan Yu felt Lu Bai's naughty hands move about on his (Zhan Yu's) entire body, Zhan Yu's hands slid down weakly.
As Zhan Yu held onto Lu Bai's arm, Zhan Yu couldn't utter out a proper sentence anymore, "You... wait... wait a... Mh..."
"I can't wait anymore..."
With Zhan Yu's clothes torn open, he only had time to give the ragged dress one last pitiful glance. But soon after, he realized that compared to this outfit, he himself was no more lucky than it. After the night passed, he suffered the consequences of being tossed about the entire time, the result of this was that he got up late the next day. Then, he still had to drag his lifeless limbs and sore waist home to see the elders. After performing the tea ceremony and accepting the wedding gifts from his seniors, he couldn't hold on any longer.
Once he finally returned back to Lu Bai's room, Zhan Yu's body dropped on the bed and his consciousness disappeared, he slept like he was dead. When he woke up, he noticed that the sky was already dark. And so, he went downstairs and passed by the kitchen, but because of this, he happened to have heard Weng Yinling say to Lu Bai inside, "I know you're young and vigorous, and that you like to fool around, but Zhan Yu is just beginning to get used to this! You have to learn to hold back a bit, you can't just mess around without giving him any time to rest."
Zhan Yu, who was accidentally eavesdropping on them, flushed instantly. When he entered through the bedroom last night, Lu Bai had practically carried him in. And with how he (Zhan Yu) threw everything aside to sleep for so long, there's no way their wise elders wouldn't know what was going on.
Even though Zhan Yu himself knew what was going to happen, but with how obvious it was to those around them, it was still really embarrassing! Hmph, everything is Lu Bai's fault!
On the other hand, Lu Bai, who was slowly cutting potatoes inside, responded to them, "Don't you, grandpa, and dad have always said that you wanted grandchildren? I'm just giving you a chance to get one really quickly."
Weng Yinlin really had no idea how cheeky her son was. "Oh, you!"
Zhan Yu's face was even redder now since he heard this. After clearing his throat, he called out to her, "Mom."
As soon as Weng Yinlin heard her 2nd son's voice, she turned around to look at the newly-wed bride. With a smile, she said, "You're awake, Xiao Yu? You're just in time. Aunt Song's soup is just about done. You should drink more of it later, it's good for you."
"Thank you, mom." After Zhan Yu responded with a smile, he turned to look at Lu Bai, Zhan Yu's eyes obviously revealed his dissatisfaction - how could Lu Bai have the guts to just say such things?!
Lu Bai wiped his hands and walked towards Zhan Yu. "We're going to have a fine meal tonight. Even though mom hasn't cooked for years, she's willing to cook up a storm just for you."
Zhan Yu was quite surprised. He never expected that this fierce-looking woman named Weng Yinlin would actually have such a homely side to her outside of work.
"Let me help you with some dishes, mom."
"It's fine, I'll be done after this one. You must be tired, go rest in the living room."
When Zhan Yu saw Weng Yinlin's gaze that insinuated "I know how you young people are", his face couldn't help but blush up.
Once they were done cleaning up after dinner, Zhan Yu and Lu Bai watched TV for a while with their grandfather. Suddenly, the old man said that his fingers were itching to play some chess again, so he asked Zhan Yu, "My grandson-in-law, do you know how to play chess?"
Zhan Yu blinked his eyes before asking him, "What type of chess, grandpa? Chinese chess or five-in-a-row?"
"Why not both?" Grandpa Lu suggested.
Zhan Yu paused for a moment, thinking about something. Zhan Yu then responded back, "Oh, sure! I'll go get the chess set from the study."
After Zhan Yu ran upstairs, Lu Bai, who was sitting on the center of the sofa, turned his gaze over to give the old man a glance, the meaning behind his eyes was very clear.
Grandpa Lu rocked his chair and laughed when he noticed this. "It's truly nice to have a grandson-in-law. At the very least, I have a chess partner now."
Lu Bai sighed and made a small comment, "You should hold back a little, old man."
Grandpa Lu laughed once more. "Since I can't mess with my own grandson, then playing around with my grandson-in-law seems rather quite fun."
On the other hand, Zhan Yu, who didn't think too much of it, brought the chess set over. Once Zhan Yu finished setting up the game and played for a few moves with Grandpa Lu, Zhan Yu found that he was unable to hold on. He had also played chess with Lu Bai before, however, both Grandpa Lu and Lu Bai were completely different players. If Zhan Yu put on a spoiled or cute act against Lu Bai, then Zhan Yu could get Lu Bai to go easy on Zhan Yu like that. Moreover, Lu Bai tended to be gentle with Zhan Yu in chess. Lu Bai wasn't at all like Grandpa Lu who exposed his murderous aura in just a short amount of time.
Since Zhan Yu wasn't very good at chess, it didn't really take him long to fall to a tragic end.
It was almost as if Grandpa Lu was checking out Zhan Yu's skill level. When they moved on to five-in-a-row, he clearly changed his tactics, almost as if he was slowly dicing Zhan Yu's up slice after slice.
These chess games were amazingly excruciating for Zhan Yu. And several times, Zhan Yu would look over to Lu Bai, Zhan Yu's pitiful eyes asking Lu Bai for help.
Lu Bai could only scold Zhan Yu helplessly, "You idiot!" Just as he was about to teach Zhan Yu a few tricks, Grandpa Lu at the side stopped him immediately. "Hey! No talking during chess!"
Lu Bai's eyes swept over to the proud Grandpa Lu, and then at his own wife. He could only endure this torturous moment with Zhan Yu. Every so often, he would reach out to hold Zhan Yu's hand, stroking it with his fingers.
At the end when Zhan Yu's entire army was annihilated, Zhan Yu finally let out a sigh of relief.
Grandpa Lu laughed and said, "It's been a long time since I've played chess with someone so bad at it. You should play some chess with me more in the future! Hm?"
Zhan Yu helplessly agreed with a smile on his face, but when he was about to pack up the chess set, he didn't expect that Lu Bai would suddenly say, "Old man, let's play a few games."
When this was heard by Grandpa Lu, he was overjoyed. "Sure, come on!"
Ever since Lu Bai took over the company, he had been coming home less and less, there was no need to even mention of him having the time to play a calming game of chess with his grandfather.
And so, Grandpa Lu rubbed his hands together, clearly ready for a fight. But in just a few minutes, Zhan Yu sat wide-eyed at the completely one-sided chess game. Lu Bai stood up and spoke like he didn't even break a sweat, "Let's go, my wife. It's time for us to sleep."
Grandpa Lu's face was dark.
Meanwhile, Zhan Yu was stunned. Lu Bai, thank you for your grace last time.

Lu Bai huffed to show his dissatisfaction.
However, Zhan Yu didn't care. After he was done eating, he went upstairs to get changed. But halfway through it, Lu Bai barged his way in.
Lu Bai leaned against the doorway, and while watching Zhan Yu continue changing, he spoke leisurely, "After you're done, let's go and get our stuff settled."
Zhan Yu first finished putting on his clothes, and as he was fixing up his hair, he asked Lu Bai, "Settle what?"
Lu Bai responded calmly, "Our marriage certificate."
Zhan Yu, who was busy trying to tie his hair, paused mid-way. He turned around and looked at Lu Bai. "So you're saying... we're going to the Civil Affairs Bureau to get our certificate?"
Lu Bai silently smiled at Zhan Yu. "If we don't get it at the Civil Affairs Bureau, then where else should we get it?"
After Zhan Yu heard this, he couldn't help his mouth from forming a wide smile. He quickly replied, "Ah, my family's household register is with my parents."
"Then we can get it from father and mother-in-law later."
"Okay." Zhan Yu stared at Lu Bai, the smile on Zhan Yu's face didn't show any signs of fading away.
After taking a trip to the Zhan family house, they headed for the Civil Affairs Bureau. In just less than an hour, they were back out again. Zhan Yu had finally and legally become a married man now. He looked at the small red book in his hands and felt a little dazed while staring at it. "Sigh, I've finally become a wed man in the eyes of the law."
Lu Bai, who was currently backing up the car, glanced at Zhan Yu and remarked in a cold tone, "You sound quite disappointed, Mrs. Lu."
Zhan Yu leaned over towards Lu Bai and smiled happily and said, "But with such a handsome beauty to stay with me for the rest of my life, I think it's worth it."
A beauty?
Lu Bai raised a brow while thinking to himself, I'll definitely have to deal with him (Zhan Yu) tonight!
On the third day after their marriage, Lu Bai and Zhan Yu went according to their plans and began their honeymoon trip.
Since Zhan Yu didn't really know much of the famous scenic areas around the area, all of it was arranged by Lu Bai. They both watched the sun rise up from the edge of a seascape, ate boundless desserts, visited famous and towering mountains, saw amazingly clear and beautiful waters... the two of them enjoyed various kinds of awe-struck sceneries together.
Though, having to accompany him in his messing about during the night after a big day was really tiring, Zhan Yu had to admit that moving to one place after another, delving into the customs of all these different locations, was both interesting and rewarding.
In the blink of an eye, half a month had already passed. During these past two days, both of them happened to be staying on an island.
The weather on this island was very cool. After waking up and dressing himself, Lu Bai fiddled with the camera, he was looking through the photos he took of Zhan Yu these past two days here.
The smiling Zhan Yu, the Zhan Yu who deliberately hid from the camera, the time when Zhan Yu stood peacefully in front of the sunset, the moments when Zhan Yu was playing with the water... each image of these images of Zhan Yu was like a beautiful painting, it carved itself deeply into the depths of his (Lu Bai's) heart.
While looking at these photos, a smile slowly grew on Lu Bai's lips subconsciously. He got up and went back to the bedroom, only to find a small little ball nestled inside of the white blankets.
While walking over to Zhan Yu, he shouted, "Honey, it's time to wake up!"
The person on the bed didn't seem to move, Zhan Yu also showed no signs of waking up.
"Honey, it's time to wake up! The sun is already up." Lu Bai sat on the edge of the bed and lifted up the blanket. "Didn't you say you wanted to go swimming? If the sun gets too hot later you'll..."
Zhan Yu, who was completely exhausted and in need of some shut-eye, was startled to find his blanket suddenly pulled away. However, since he couldn't even bear to open his eyes right now, he pulled another corner of the blanket and covered it over his head, wrapping himself up tightly.
Upon seeing this, Lu Bai laughed. He leaned over towards Zhan Yu and brought out his (Lu Bai) best threat, "If you don't get up then I guess we're not going out today. We can just spend our day on the hotel bed." After Lu Bai said this, his hand slowly crawled into the blanket.
Zhan Yu hurriedly avoided Lu Bai's hand as if it was made of electricity. Zhan Yu quickly sat up and opened his sleepy eyes, saying, "Fine! I'm getting up!" Because he suddenly did this while half-asleep, he couldn't help himself from falling forward, which happened to be right into Lu Bai's arms.
The latter reached out to stroke his (Zhan Yu's)hair. After helping him (Zhan Yu) smooth out his messy bed head, Lu Bai said in a soft and soothing tone, "If you're really tired, then we don't have to go out today. We can just reschedule for tomorrow."
Zhan Yu closed his eyes as he shook his head in his (Lu Bai's) arms. "Wouldn't it be the same if we go tomorrow?" Zhan Yu then raised his head to look at Lu Bai. "Are you not going to mess around tonight?"
Lu Bai proudly and firmly expressed himself, "Wouldn't I be doing myself wrong if I don't mess around during my honeymoon?"
Zhan Yu, "..."
I really want to slap his (Lu Bai's) face with my (Zhan Yu's) slippers!
In the end, Zhan Yu still managed to fight for another half hour of sleep for himself. After washing up and having breakfast, it was already close to half-past ten.
Zhan Yu took his sun hat and sunglasses while pulling Lu Bai's arm. "Come on! Let's go! I had a look at the beaches here the other day. The water is very clear!"
"Heh, so now you feel excited? Who was the one who wouldn't get up earlier?"
Zhan Yu naturally ignored the Lu Bai's remarks.
After playing to his heart's content, Zhan Yu laid down on a lounge chair. He leisurely watched the other people on the beach having fun. Lu Bai, who was lying close beside Zhan Yu, would take a few shots of his wife with the camera he brought from time to time.
When Zhan Yu turned back to look at Lu Bai, he just happened to see Lu Bai take a few more shots of him (Zhan Yu). An idea suddenly sprouted up in Zhan Yu's mind, he got up and went to grab Lu Bai's camera. "I want to take a few photos of you too! I want to show them to mom, dad, and grandpa!"
Lu Bai quickly evaded Zhan Yu, the expression on his (Lu Bai's) face was clearly unwilling.
Zhan Yu pretended to be angry. "An Bai, you're a big boss but aren't you being too petty? I just want to take a few pictures!"
However, the reason why Lu Bai did this was actually due to another reason. A few days ago, Zhan Yu also said that Zhan Yu wanted to take a few photos. But in the end, once the camera left Zhan Yu's hands, only a few photos were left of the dozens he (Lu Bai) took.
After realizing this when they returned to the hotel last night, Lu Bai asked Zhan Yu what happened, only to hear Zhan Yu respond casually while watching TV and eating fruits, "The photos you took were too ugly, that's why I deleted them."
Lu Bai was... pissed!
He clearly thought that all the photos he took of his wife looked super good!
And so, he was so angry that night that he deliberately went at it with even greater force than usual. As a result, during the entire ordeal, Zhan Yu ended up clenching his (Zhsn Yu) hands on his (Lu Bai's) shoulders and told him (Lu Bai) to slow down. But in the end, Zhan Yu still tried to coax Lu Bai with a few pleasant words, it was only then did Lu Bai let Zhan Yu go with reluctance.
With what happened, Zhan Yu, who had been taught a lesson, never played with Lu Bai's camera again.
However, not wanting to play with it and lu Bai not wanting to give it to Zhan Yu were two different issues!
Zhan Yu pounced over at Li Bai in an instant, trying to snatch the camera. However, Lu Bai raised his hand up high and didn't allow Zhan Yu to get what Zhan Yu wanted.
Zhan Yu was so angry that Zhan Yu was just about to bite Lu Bai, but someone suddenly appeared with a hearty laugh. "Why are the two of you fighting?"
When Zhan Yu heard the clear voice of the man, he looked over towards the source and saw a man with a bronzed and firm chest exposed in front of him, the man had a smile on his face.
Zhan Yu was just about to ask who he was, but Lu Bai reached and quickly pressed Zhan Yu's head to his (Lu Bai's) chest. After narrowing his (Lu Bai) eyes slightly, he (Lu Bai) asked in an imposing manner, "Who are you?!"
"Don't get me wrong, sir. The two of you seemed like you were here on holiday, so I wanted to tell you that coincidentally, the son of the richest man in town is getting married today. With many people around here having gone to watch the event, I just passed by to see if the two of you were interested, if you are, then you can go see it as well. Oh yeah, it's right at Chongguang Street. Also, there's a very spiritual man there today, he can tell a person's fate. But he won't tell someone their fortune so easily. He'll only mention it if fate calls for it." After saying this with a smile, he added, "People who come here to play would generally try their luck, if they actually can get their fortune told, they usually consider their trip successful."
Lu Bai laughed in disdain when he heard this. "That sounds ridiculous." Who the hell even believes in that kind of stuff in this day and age?
Zhan Yu felt that the man was just being nice and informed them. With that thought in mind, Zhan Yu pulled Lu Bai's hand and told him to lay it off.
Lu Bai's eyes darkened. He slightly raised his chin and said to the man, "Thank you very much, but me and my wife still has a lot of private things to say, can you leave now?"
When Zhan Yu heard this and saw the man laughed awkwardly and quickly excused himself.
Zhan Yu came out of Lu Bai's arms, he had a smile on his face as he asked, "President Lu Bai, what's this murderous aura I'm feeling from you? What are you trying to do?"
Lu Bai snorted. There was no way he would say that the guy from earlier had his eyes all over Zhan Yu when they were talking earlier.
Even though Zhan Yu wasn't exposed due to his long sun jacket, but having their man being looked at so bluntly would still make any man unhappy.
Lu Bai slapped Zhan Yu springy hips and scolded him, "Hurry and get up. Go back to the hotel and get changed. Who are you trying to seduce in those clothes?!"
...Wasn't he the one who chose this outfit for him(Zhan Yu)?!
Zhan Yu glared at Lu Bai. Zhan Yu didn't even feel like talking to him anymore. After walking a few steps behind him, he grumbled, "You're obviously just jealous."
Lu Bai who was walking at the front stopped and turned back to stare at Zhan Yu, asking, "What did you say?"
Zhan Yu quickly shot him a sweet smile. "Nothing!"
After the two returned to their hotel and took a shower, they didn't really have any plans after lunch. Feeling quite bored, Zhan Yu thought about the suggestion that man gave them earlier. "Why don't we go look at the wedding?"
"With people like that man around here, how high-end could a wedding from this sort of place be?"
Zhan Yu was speechless for a moment. But then, he rose up to refute Lu Bai's statement, "You're just being unreasonable!"
Lu Bai shot a glance at Zhan Yu in response, he couldn't be bothered to argue. However, he still brought Zhan Yu out to see the wedding.
The theme of the wedding was "A Hundred Flowers", the decorations of the venue was very romantic.
Zhan Yu felt that if the bride and groom were just a bit more pleasing to the eyes, then it wouldn't hurt the visual experience as much.
After they recounted the long and sweet process of them meeting each other, all the way to falling in love and getting married, Zhan Yu said to Lu Bai cheerfully, "Even though the two of them just got married after their blind date a year ago, how do they still have so much to talk about in between?"
Lu Bai agreed with Zhan Yu. "Yeah, they're not as pitiful as I am."
Zhan Yu, who was looking quietly at the bride and groom on the stage, "..."
