"Zhan Yu, don't you think you're quite ungrateful saying this?"
Zhan Yu smiled and shook his head. "I don't think so."
"Humph!" Lu Bai coldly humphed.
Lu Bai thought that Zhan Yu thinks that he can't punish him? He lowered his head to kiss Zhan Yu again.
Zhan Yu hurriedly reminded Lu Bai out of fright. "Watch where you're going!"
Zhan Yu stayed in his house for a few hours. The two cuddled on the sofa and watched an old movie.
When the movie finally ended and the rain stopped, Zhan Yu looked at the time. He looked down and said, "I should go."
"Ok." Lu Bai knew that Zhan Yu's break wasn't that long. If he didn't go home anytime soon, Zhan Family would probably have some objections to him.
On the way back, Lu Bai asked, "Do you have time tomorrow?"
Zhan Yu thought carefully and said truthfully. "It's hard to tell."
Lu Bai knew that it was the Chinese New Year so Zhan Yu might have to stay with his family. He settled for the next best. "How about the day after?"
"The first of January? I don't think so."
"How about your family?" Lu Bai continued to ask.
"What?" Zhan Yu was confused.
"Invite the two families' elders out for lunch and talk about our marriage."
"..." Zhan Yu felt like he couldn't keep up with Lu Bai! They weren't even together for a while yet! He was already thinking about marriage?
Zhan Yu pondered over his word choices and asked, "Don't you think we're a bit too quick?"
"I had been waiting for you for so many years. If we married the moment you graduated from college, we would have a child by now."

Zhan Yu was frightened by Lu Bai's thoughts. He hastily rejected. "It's too quick. You will scare my parents like this."
"It's not quick. I went to visit my soon to be Father-in-Law and Mother-in-law before and hinted them." Lu Bai said and looked at him, continuing, "Plus, it doesn't seem like they were against the idea."
Zhan Yu clenched his teeth and said, "Are you marrying me or my parents? They don't have any opinions but I do."
"What's your opinion?"
"We're too quick!" We're only at the dating stage and you already want to marry me?
Lu Bai thought deeply. His slender fingers tapped against the keyboard every now and then.
Seeing this, Zhan Yu hovered over him and hugged his arms. Zhan Yu tried to please Lu Bai, "It's too quick. I'm not mentally ready yet."
Lu Bai looked at Zhan Yu and agreed in the end. "Then let's slow down?"

Zhan Yu laughed. "Didn't you want to come and watch a movie?"
Zhong Qin sighed. "If you can be a guy, I will probably be happy."
Zhan Yu shrugged. "I really can't help you there."
"Seeing that you ditched Lu Bai and stayed with me the entire day on the first of January, I won't argue with you."
Zhan Yu chuckled. "Thank you Sir. Zhong for not arguing with me then."
"My pleasure, my pleasure!" Zhong Qin waved his hands as if he was acting.
Zhan Yu smiled and said, "I think you don't need to be a host. You can go ahead and be an actor. Maybe you can get an award."
"Sigh. I had been thinking about this! But I'm not that famous so I didn't dare to change my career..." Zhong Qin rambled on.
Zhan Yu detected a man in a suit watching him not far from Zhong Qin. Zhan Yu looked at him and he stared back. He didn't even avoid his gaze. This man was handsome but Zhan Yu knew for sure that he didn't know him.
Zhong Qin knew something was wrong too. He looked over according to Zhan Yu's gaze. He noticed Mo Bei with another girl. The person was smiling and talking to him but Mo Bei seemed indifferent.
Zhong Qin whispered and asked Zhan Yu, "Do you know him?"
Zhan Yu shook his head but he felt like he knew her.
"That man wearing a gray suit is Mo Family's grandson. What was a coincidence was that he was like Chu Hua, also in the designer industry. Oh, right. He is Mo Bei."
Zhong Qin said this and asked Zhan Yu, "Have you heard of him?"
"Mo Bei?"
Zhan Yu slightly squinted his eyes. "So it's him!"
Mo Bie was the second male lead in the book. He liked Chu Hua to the point he would sacrifice anything for her and he had lost himself in the process. Yet, he was with another girl at this time? Did he listen to the elders and was going on a blind date?
Zhan Yu suddenly remembered that Mo Bei and Lu Bai had known each other since they were kids. But because of Chu Hua, they became strangers in the end.
So Mo Bei had been staring at him because he knew he was Lu Bai's man? He was curious?
On the way back, Zhan Yu called Lu Bai to tell him how he coincidentally met Mo Bei. Then Zhan Yu naturally thought of another question. Wasn't Chu Hua being too quiet recently? Why aren't there any news of her?
Because Zhan Yu had been busy, he forgot to ask Zhan Qiancheng and Lu Bai how the investigation had been going. They had no information on the person behind this at all? It seems like they have a lot of experience so that they were able to leave no traces at all.
After Lu Bai picked up Zhan Yu, he brought hi. to his apartment.
Lu Bai's decision to not bring Zhan Yu out in public matched Zhan Yu's thoughts perfectly. Zhan Yu doesn't like the feeling of brushing against other people's shoulders, just like how he had walked in the crowd today with Zhong Qin to shop. There were crowds wherever they went.
Zhan Yu was already acquainted with Lu Bai's apartment because he (Zhan Yu) had visited it before.
The moment Lu Bai opened the door, Zhan Yu walked past him to get inside first. As Zhan Yu bent over to take off his boots, he asked with a smile, "So, President Lu, are you planning to prepare the dinner tonight by yourself?"
Lu Bai only knew that Zhan Yu was talented when it came to making soup, but he didn't know that Zhan Yu was also skilled at cooking. When he heard his question, he thought: Zhan Yu doesn't know how to cook, but one of them needed to know since the two of them were going to be living together. When he thought about it that way, he took off his black, long windbreaker and rolled up his gray lined sleeve, and said, "Let me do it."
Zhan Yu was amused by his expression that showed "facing death fearlessly", so he said, "You're only cooking, it's not like your going on the battlefield, do you need to be this serious?"

Zhan Yu suddenly felt that something was wrong, so he touched his face and said, "Is there anything on my face?"
"Yes," Lu Bai said in a serious tone.
Upon hearing his words, Zhan Yu went looking for the mirror , he went in bedroom as they had a couch too in the bedroom.
"I saw four words written on your face." Lu Bai walked over to Zhan Yu as Zhan Yu was looking at the mirror which was in bedroom as Lu Bai walked closer to Zhan Yu and turned him to face Zhan Yu to his side face to face and pointed at his (Zhan Yu's) forehead.
"Eh?"
"Rejoicing in other people's misfortune."
Zhan Yu pouted but then burst out laughing, "Yes, President Lu Bai, I'm in the wrong. You're a person of high moral character, please don't make it difficult for someone like me."
Lu Bai lifted Zhan Yu's chin subtly, "So how are you going to make up for it?"
Zhan Yu rolled his eyes, "Why don't you punish me with cooking tonight?"
Lu Bai nodded and said, "Don't bomb the kitchen."
Zhan Yu pretended to be angry, "Lu Bai, don't underestimate people!"
Lu Bai pretended that he didn't see Zhan Yu's angry face and said to himself, "But it's fine if you bomb the kitchen, there's another one next door."
"Next door?" Zhan Yu then thought of the reselling of his own apartment next door. Zhan Yu bought that apartment but then resold it not long after he purchase. Then Zhan Qiancheng handled all of the details of the sale so he(Zhan Yu) doesn't know who the buyer was.
"Oh right, who's living next door?"
Lu Bai narrowed his eyes and looked at Zhan Yu, "You don't know?"
Zhan Yu shook his head honestly, "No, my brother told me that he found a buyer so I moved out right away. I didn't ask about it afterwards."
After Zhan Yu finished the sentence, he looked at Lu Bai with an ill-intentioned expression, "President Lu Bai, the new neighbor must be better than me, the old neighbor, isn't that right?"
Lu Bai sat down on the couch and stretched out his long legs, and said lazily, "It is indeed much better."
"Oh? Then it must be a beauty or handsome?" Zhan Yu cooperated.
"Indeed beautiful and handsome" As Lu Bai's voice trailed off, his handsome face was attacked by the pillow Zhan Yu threw.
"Zhan Yu!" Lu Bai threw the pillow away and was about to unleash his anger when Zhan Yu pounced on him. Zhan Yu pulled on the collar of his shirt and said, "No wonder you like it here so much, it's because there's a secret mistress or mister next door!"
Lu Bai stretched out his hands to stop Zhan Yu, but when he looked down, he realized that Zhan Yu was straddling his waist while kneeling on the sofa. He moved, and Zhan Yu also moved along with his movement. Their lower bodies rubbed against each other with the movement, Lu Bai felt the fire lighting up inside him. His breathing became a little heavy as he stared at Zhan Yu carefully, "Do you believe that I will take care of you if you move again!"
After Zhan Yu heard the threat, he froze for a moment and then quickly got off of Lu Bai , but his careless movements sparked an accidental conflict: he touched the part where he wasn't supposed to touch.
Zhan Yu's face was suddenly filled with embarrassment, he explained, "I didn't do it on purpose, I'll..." Not waiting for his to finish, Lu Bai positioned Zhan Yu under his body, "I think you did it on purpose!"
Zhan Yu was speechless, "Wu wu..." He really didn't mean to.
All of Lu Bai's suppressed desire was suddenly unleashed by that accidental touch. Even if he couldn't unleash all of it, at least he should receive some interest back.
Zhan Yu was trapped on the couch by Lu Bai, Zhan Yu's lips were numb from Lu Bai's kissing. Hee felt that Lu Bai was sucking on his lips extra hard, so he couldn't help but pushed Lh Bai away, "Don't kiss too hard! I need to go home later!"
When Zhan Yu called home, he told them that he won't be home for dinner because he has a date with Lu Bai.
Zhan Qiancheng said, "You must be back by ten o'clock." That meant that he couldn't stay for the night.
If Lu Bai kissed too much, how will he (Zhan Yu) face his family?
Lu Bai's expression darkened when he asked, "So it's fine as long as no one sees it?"
"Eh?" Zhan Yu's brain lacked oxygen as he looked at Lu Bai in confusion.
Lu Bai smiled and then pulled down Zhan Y's collar.
Zhan Yu wore a red V-neck sweater, so it was very convenient for him to pull the collar to his shoulder.
Zhan Yu noticed that the skin around his neck had turned cold from being exposed, but in the next second, warmth was immediately returned to his neck. Lu Bai lowered and buried his head on Zhan Yu's shoulder, kissing the area from his (Zhan Yu's) neck to his shoulder. Sometimes he sucked Zhan Yu's skin with a great force, leaving behind red marks.
Zhan Yu tilted his head and clutched the couch tightly with both of his hands. His body felt soft and boneless, he felt like his body wasn't his body. His skin was smooth and fair, one of Lu Bai's hands cupped his softness while his other hand slid inside his clothes... It was unknown how much time had passed, but Zhan Yu began to slowly recover his consciousness. When he slowly opened his eyes, he saw the beast in front of him putting on his clothes for him. Not only did he took off his shirt, he also took off his too... he then wrapped him in his embrace and rubbed against him with all his strength. When Zhan Yu reflected back to some of the scenes, he couldn't help but complain, "What's the difference between your behavior and...?" It was obvious that is voice became quieter in the latter part of the sentence.
Lu Bai, who was bent over picking Zhan Yu's clothes, stopped. He didn't immediately hand Zhan Yu the clothes right away, instead he began fiddling around with Zhan Yu's clothes as he jokingly said, "You don't think there's a difference between entering and not entering?"
"You..." Zhan Yu suddenly thought that he had previously underestimated Lu Bai's shamelessness! Since he couldn't outwit Lu Bai by talking, Zhan Yu sulkingly said, "Give my clothes back!"
"If you want to get your clothes back, say something to make me happy."
Zhan Yu's chest was only covered by his black windbreaker, so his back was freezing. He bit his lip, unwilling to let him push his luck!
So, Zhan Yu rolled his eyeballs and sneezed twice. Upon seeing the scene, Lu Bai immediately asked, "You caught a cold?"
Zhan Yu used the opportunity to make a fuss, "Who told you to take off my clothes!"
Lu Bai quickly helped Zhan Yu put the clothes on, "Change to a thicker one later. This is too thin, no wonder you caught a cold!"
Zhan Yu rolled his eyes, why didn't you thought of that when you took my clothes off!? After he finished wearing his outfit, Lu Bai directly put on his black windbreaker on Zhan Yu, "Don't take it off, put your coat on too."

Zhan Yu didn't want to talk to Lu Bai.
Lu Bai pinched into his own pocket and took out a red envelope for Zhan Yu.
Zhan Yu didn't accept it right away, instead, he asked, "Is this used to bribe me?"
"I don't really see which part of you is worthy enough for me to bribe," Lu Bai immediately exposed Zhan Yu.
Zhan Yu became angry, "Then what do you mean by giving me this?"
"Red packet for New Year."
"Didn't you just sent me one last night?" Zhan Yu replied without thinking.
"That wasn't the same, this is real deal."
"Oh." Zhan Yu received the red envelope over from Lu Bai, he shook the envelope, it wasn't money inside, so he asked, "What did you put inside?"
"Don't you know how to open it?" Lu Bai raised an eyebrow.
Open it in front of you?
Zhan Yu thought about it and said, "I'll open it now"
There was only a card inside the red packet when Zhan Yu opened it.
Zhan Yu didn't understand, "You're so rich that you give out cards when giving out red packets?"
"You think everyone else receives the same treatment?"
Zhan Yu laughed, "That's true, I'm not the same." Then Zhan Yu asked, "How much money is in this card?"
Lu Bai was not the kind of person to care how many 0s are in his bank account, so he only replied, "Check it out yourself."
If Lu Bai had given a red packet with money, Zhan Yu would've have reluctantly accepted it. But now that he gave him a card with an unknown balance...
Zhan Yu felt a little apprehensive, "Why did you thought of giving me this all of a sudden?" It was a little fishy for him to accept it.
Lu Bai reached out to pinched Zhan Yu'a cheek, "Accept it. This is to wish that you will have a child soon."

While Zhan Yu was stir frying the food, he replied proudly, "I'm not telling you."
Lu Bai was indifferent, "That's even better, I like to discover them myself."
Zhan Yu looked at Lu Bai without saying anything.
After dinner, Lu Bsi asked Zhan Yu to play chess. Zhan Yu wasn't skilled at playing chess, so he lost very badly.
Zhan Yu acted shamelessly, "Why can't you be a gentleman and humor me!"
"The result would be the same!"
That was the truth; Lu Bai humored Zhan Yu half of the game, and Zhan Yu still lost gloriously. The two of them were lovey-dovey for a bit after chess until Lu Bai received a call from Zhuang Zhu asking him to drink with them.
"I'm busy. Not going!" Lu Bai answered without hesitation.
Zhuang Zhu said with discontent, "What is there to busy with on New Year!"
Lu Bai looked at Zhan Yu and reached out to hug him, "I need to accompany my wife."
Zhuang Zhu was unwilling to accept the defeat of not being able to invite Lu Bai out on New Year. As a result, he kept calling Lu Bai to harass him, "Come out! We will treat you!"
"Your wife is not with you today! Come out to drink!"
"Lu Bai, I brought enough cash today, come and play Mahjong with us!"
Lu Bai heard these words when he picked up the phone, so he turned to ask Zhan Yu, "Zhuang Zhu is going to give us free money, shall we meet him?"

He sticks to you even more than me, your official boyfriend." After Zhan Yu finished speaking, he squinted his eyes at Lu Bai and said, "Are the two of you..." Halfway through his sentence, Zhan Yu realized that the expression on Lu Bai's face had darkened, so Zhan Yu quickly corrected hisself, "Oh no, does Zhuang Zhu have any feelings towards you..."
Lu Bai looked at Zhan Yu deeply and then pulled Zhan Yu into his embrace. He smiled and said, "Do I need to prove it to you that your boyfriend has no problem at all?" After he finished speaking, he lowered his head and sucked hard on the hollow of Zhan Yu's neck.
Zhan Yu pushed him away with great force, "No, don't. I'm in the wrong, I was joking alright!?" Zhan Yu lowered his head and quickly fixed his collar.
Lu Bai let go of Zhan Yu, but he continued to rub Zhan Yu's palm with his right hand. He lazily said, "He's probably interested in you."
Zhan Yu didn't understand, "I only saw him once, what is he interested in?"
Lu Bai said indifferently, "Because you guys only met once, that's why he's interested."
Zhan Yu thought about it and came to the conclusion that a huge part of Zhuang Zhu's interest probably came from Lu Bai. Thinking of it that way, he said smilingly, "How about we go over tonight?"
Upon seeing that Zhan Yu had no complaints, Lu Bai agreed. But while he called Zhuang Zhu to tell him that he will be attending tonight's meeting, he also said something inadvertently, "Remember to gather everyone."
It was easier to introduce his boyfriend to all his friends at once.

Lu Bai had mysophobia so he always does the same thing, even when he only stayed for half an hour. But how was this different from the past!? When Zhuang Zhu came in before, he told them to pay attention to their cleanliness, but he didn't expect that this still wasn't up to Lh Bai's standard.
