Sakura P.O.V
I was at the market buying ingredients for both the noodle shop and for lunch that Uncle Pigsy is making. Macaque and Kyubi joined me of course, Macaque was in human disguise and that surprised me to know that Macaque is the same person when I had my first date, and Kyubi was still in his fox form, he doesn't want to draw any attention towards himself, they wanted to make sure I won't be in any danger. Though I think they've become a bit overprotective like my uncles' minus being crushed in a tight hug from Uncle Sandy. I was looking at the list that Uncle Pigsy gave me, and it looks like we're almost done
"Ugh... I hate crowds. Blossom, please tell we're almost done" Macaque asked
"You're in luck, we're almost do-" Then suddenly a bright light blasted through the ground and there we saw a giant mech
"Macaque, what is that?" I asked and I started to shake
"Shit! She's here! We better go!" Macaque grabbed my hand and started running, but we didn't go far since something blasted towards us. Luckly, I managed to create a shield to protect us
"Amazing! Simply amazing!" When the smoke cleared, we saw the fake mayor with his same creepy grin "Now I see why my lady wants you out of the picture"
Macaque stood in front of me protectively including Kyubi who changed into his true form
"As if I'll let you get to my lady! I'll protect her even if it costs me my life!" Kyubi exclaimed
"I do love a challenge" The fake mayor snapped his fingers and Huntsman appeared, but he looked different, he looked misty "You know what to do" The misty Huntsman charged forwards towards us, he was about to attack, but both Macaque and Kyubi blocked his attack and managed to push him back. I changed into my fighter form, and I looked at both Macaque and Kyubi
"I need you both to go and warn MK, I'll keep these guys busy" I said and changed into my sword-fighter form
"But my lady! We can't leave you here!" Kyubi said
"The fox is right, we can't! We promised that we'll protect you!" Macaque said
"I'll be fine, I promise I'll catch up. Now go!" I shouted and hesitantly they left, I turned my gaze back to the fake mayor and the mist form of Huntsman, I went into my battle stance and charged at them
MK P.O.V Few minutes earlier
After training with Mei, we headed back to Sandy's ship to have a break
"Man, MK, you're totally getting the hang of this mystic monkey business!" Mei said
"Aw, thanks Mei" I thanked Mei and she started talking about how I mastered the staff, clones, becoming big and small, hero of the universe and smart to move our training sessions outside of the city, so the buildings won't get destroyed again. I laughed
"We got this, boi! Soon, Monkey King won't need to come back from his vacation!" Mei said and I frowned
'I feel bad for keeping them in the dark, but I'm not ready to tell them why or about the Lady Bone Demon yet. I need to get stronger so I can protect them and especially Sakura, since I have a feeling, she's most likely gonna be targeted' I was in thought and felt Mei shaking me a little
"Oh yeah, uh, guess you're right" I said and heard Pigsy saying snack break, he was holding a tray with 5 bowls of noodles. We each grabbed a bowl and started chowing down
"That hit the spot!" I said as I rubbed my stomach, I took a sip of my juice
"Hey, Pigsy, when is Sakura and Macaque coming back? They're taking forever!" Mei said as she fell on her back
"Relax, she and Macaque are out buying ingredients for the shop and for me to make more lunch for her and Macaque to eat" Pigsy said as he moved away from Tang, who was about to his bowl of noodles, when suddenly a bright light bursted out from the ground
"That's probably not good" Mei said and her bowl of noodles landed on my face
We headed towards the railings for a better look, then coming out from the ground was a medium sized mech that resembled a spider. Then, I felt my head starting to hurt and I knew who it is
"Spider Queen?!" Mei asked in a surprised tone
"No. It's something... worse" I said and I jumped off the ship. I used my powers to punch the mech, when I land a punch, I suddenly felt a weaker like something drained my power. The spider mech jumped, I was trying to use my powers, but nothing happened, then the spider mech landed on me. So, I used my other powers and made myself grow big and finally destroyed the mech, but the same feeling happened again, I felt something drain my power again, then I saw Sandy's ship, everyone was cheering for me except for Tang
"Um, MK? I get the feeling you're not telling us something" Tang said and I sighed
"A few weeks ago, I met someone" They thought it was for romantic reasons and I told them it was not that, besides Sakura is the only person I want to spend my life with, but I'll think about that later "Remember when we fought DBK? I said he was different, and Spider Queen attacked, and she was stronger? I was trying to protect you, keeping it a secret. It was all this girl... She calls herself..."
"The Lady Bone Demon" I jumped at the chilling voice along with the sounds of whispers, I turned around and there I saw her. Mei, Pigsy, and Sandy jumped into the air to fight, but the Lady Bone Demon blew them away, they would've hit the ship if Macaque and Kyubi didn't save them in time
"Macaque! Kyubi!" I looked a bit relieved
"Well, well. If it isn't the Six Eared Macaque. Tell me, since when did you plan to betray me?" The Lady Bone Demon asked
'Betray her? What does she mean by that?' I thought to myself with a confused look
"Since I became indebted to blossom, and I don't plan on betraying her or anyone if that's what you're thinking" Macaque said and the Lady Bone Demon looked angry
"So, you're helping her now? I guess I better hurry up and end her now!" The Lady Bone Demon said as she summoned more medium sized mechs at me, but every time I fight them, I feel more of my power being drained from me, then I summoned my mech to beat her, but I was grabbed by her giant mech, the blast was so powerful that it sent all of my friends flying far away with the ship. I fell out of my mech, I extended the staff to hit her but she managed to grab it and suddenly the staff became so heavy for me to lift. I tried to lift it up, but it didn't move an inch, then ice started to cover the staff. I thought I was done for when the ice started to cover me, then a golden light appeared, I looked up and saw Monkey King, his clothes was in tatters and looked pretty beat up too
"Monkey King? Are you really here?" I asked with tears still in my eyes
"Destiny cannot be undone Sun Wukong! I also have someone that you find most precious" The Lady Bone Demon said as she summoned the not mayor and he has Sakura in his grasp
"MK! Monkey King!" Sakura tried to break free but the not mayor grabbed her hair
"Sakura!" I tried towards her but Monkey King stopped
"Kid, you need to calm down. I know you want to save her, but I'm pretty sure the Lady Bone Demon isn't gonna make it easy" Monkey King said and the not mayor laughed
"Oh, how right he is!" The not mayor said as he pulled her hair even harder making her cry in pain
"Tell me, Sun Wukong, will you and your protégé surrender or will you continue to make your friend here suffer more?" The Lady Bone Demon asked with a evil grin
'What should we do?! I don't want to surrender and I don't want Sakura to suffer either!' I thought to myself and heard Sakura saying something
"How about... Neither!" Sakura yelled as she pulled out her sword from her chest and cut her hair
The Lady Bone Demon looked shocked at Sakura's actions, she kicked the not mayor away from her and glared at the Lady Bone Demon, then the Lady Bone Demon looked scared for a minute before heading towards us
"Monkey King! We need to go now!" Sakura said
"You don't have to tell me twice!" Monkey King summoned his cloud, he grabbed both me and Sakura, and we took off. Sakura and I looked at the city before it was completely covered in ice, the both of us cried. While flying through the air, the cloud started to lose power and we needed to find somewhere to land, luckily Sandy's ship appeared behind the clouds and Monkey King went towards the ship. When we close to the ship, the cloud disappears and we roughly landed on the ship
No One P.O.V
Monkey King looked at where his cloud used to be, and he tighten his fist in anger
"MK! Sakura!"
"My lady!"
Monkey looked behind him and saw everyone gathered around MK and Sakura to see if they're okay, MK was the first one to open his eyes first and he looked at Monkey King with a tired look
"Hey, bud. Miss me?" Monkey King said as he tried to lighten the mood
"Where were you?! You could've stopped this! We could've...! We have to go back! We have to take her down!" MK said
"We can't" Monkey King said looking down
"No! I'm going back! I'm gonna get my staff and finish this!" MK said as he tried to get up
"MK... Please don't..." MK looked at Sakura, she looked very tired "We're in no shape to face her that includes Monkey King. So please don't argue" Sakura pleaded
"Blossom is right, that witch literally blew us away" Macaque said and Monkey King's eyes widen
"Macaque?! What are you doing?!" Monkey King glared at Macaque
"Keeping an eye on both the kid and blossom. Something that you hardly ever do!" Macaque said and the two monkeys glared at each other with high intensity
"You will both knock it off! You're not helping the situation but making it worse!" Kyubi said as he pushed the two monkeys away from each other
"Huh? Kyubi? What are you doing here?" Monkey King asked
"I'm the familiar of my new lady" Kyubi said as he made his way to Sakura "And I'm pretty sure you knew about her lineage as well" Monkey King jumped when Kyubi said that
"Lineage? You saying he knew about Sakura's life?!" Pigsy looked at Monkey King with an angry look and Monkey King let out a breath
"It's true. I knew who she was the moment I saw her. She's the reincarnation of a goddess also known as the Cherry Blossom Goddess" Monkey King admitted, making everyone shocked except for MK and Sakura "I'm guessing you knew bud" MK nodded his head "How did you know, Sakura?"
"I had a feeling because of the dreams I keep having and including the journal that Kyubi gave me when we were in the Celestial Relam. The journal showed different techniques about my powers and this mark on chest. Why didn't you tell me?" Sakura asked
"I didn't know how to tell you" Monkey King said
"Or maybe he wasn't planning to" Macaque said
"Will you both knock it off!" Kyubi hit back of their heads and they're groaning pain "Now, explain yourself. What were you really doing?"
"Alright, alright. I wasn't really on vacation. During the battle with Spider Queen, I found out that the Lady Bone Demon is back. She's bad news" Monkey King said
"No shit Sherlock" Macaque said and he earned another slap to the head by Kyubi
"As I was saying, I needed something to fight her, something so powerful even she wouldn't be able to win, a weapon." Monkey King finished and MK sighed
"Okay, a weapon, hey if you think you can beat her, let's go find it" MK said
"What?! No, you're not going. I'm going"
"Wait, what?! You chose me, I can help! We all can" MK said
"Yeah, so here's the problem. You guys have this thing called mortality, so..." Then Mei cleared her throat
"You're not looking so immortal yourself Mr. King" Mei said
We can do this. We're stronger together" MK said and Monkey King gave in, making both Mei and MK excited
"But it's not gonna be easy. In fact, it's going to be really, really dangerous" Monkey said
"Don't worry, Monkey King. We've been through worst dangers remember? Where are we heading?" Sakura asked, Monkey King pulled out a scroll and tossed it towards MK. When he opened the scroll, it was a map with three locations
"Well, I guess we're going on a journey, to the west" Monkey King said and Mei suddenly gasped
"What! What is it?!" MK shouted
"Her hair! It's not long anymore!" Mei cried when she notices Sakura's hair which made her uncles freak out
"No! Not your hair!" Sakura's uncles cried and that made everyone sweat drop
'Is my hair being cut short really a big deal?' Sakura thought to herself
"How about MK, Monkey King and I get some rest? Macaque when you get the chance, can you bring me a pair of scissors?" Sakura asked and Macaque nodded
"Let me carry you to a room" Macaque said as he picked up Sakura and started walking inside the ship towards one of the rooms
'I wonder though... Why did the Lady Bone Demon look scared when I glared at her?' Sakura thought to herself as grasped her chest
