Chapter 1261

When the number 1 appeared, Bo Jiu's right hand moved. She pressed down on the accelerator, held onto the steering wheel, and drove the car into the water!

Once a car entered a lake, water would stream in through the gaps between the glass windows. The car would be completely filled with water within a few seconds and the whole car would sink from the weight. The people in the car wouldn't be able to survive such a fate.

However, the moment this car entered the water, the glass window changed significantly. As the whole car submerged under water, a grunt sounded and the doors of the Lamborghini retracted backwards, resembling a batwing. The tires changed direction as if they had assisted taxiing. Even though there was no change to the appearance, the functions completely changed; they were waterproof and had a propeller, which pushed the car forward. The front lights were five times brighter than usual, allowing her to see ahead clearly.

"Form change complete, we have successfully entered a water friendly mood. Petrol is enough for the forty miles journey. The detectable issue includes unstable water pressure. Manual movement is required."

The navigation system perked up into many lines. Bo Jiu leaned back and glanced up. She opened the sunroof, activating the hidden pushing device.

"Speed up," Bo Jiu commanded.

The navigation system perked up, the propeller speeding up. The fishes dispersed, unaware why this big guy was invading their territory...

Time trickled by. At 4pm, the sky was golden and the afterglow splashing down, pushing through the thick fog. The land was vast and far.

Once they reached ashore, Qin Mo and the others boarded a Land Rover arranged by Scorpion. The only difference was that this time, they weren't blindfolded. Because of that, Prince felt more deeply. It was beautiful, more than words could ever describe.

A sea of red flowers in full bloom with a hut at the end. But because of the flower species, this ethereal paradise became a chilling sight; they were poppies, the raw material of all drugs.

When they walked in, Scorpion was still laughing. "Don't breathe too deeply, the pollen is extremely potent. Too much and you may be hooked."

Prince stiffened, the strong smell drowning his senses and making him feel uneasy.

Qin Mo placed his hands at the edge of the car, his hair floating with the breeze as though he was enjoying the view. "Is that so? It would be relaxing to sleep in a place like this."

"Boss Rong has the same views as our King." Scorpion seemed surprised by his words. But if he thought about it, ruthless people wouldn't be concerned if these things inflicted harm on others since profit was the most important in their eyes.

Scorpion laughed. Such a person was well qualified to be their business partner.

Unbeknownst to him, ever since they had approached the sea of flowers, Prince and the others had instinctively started to hold their breath. They were soundlessly holding their breath to prevent themselves from getting addicted.

Chapter 1262

Scorpion drove the Land Rover into a yard not far from the sea of flowers. On the other end, there was a row of mercenaries. Each of them had tattoos on their faces and a rifle in their hands, their expression cruel and menacing.

A characteristic of this place was the yearlong sunshine, which gave them extremely tanned skin and a hint of desperation. Only the man standing in the middle was different. That was Fan Jia. But today, she didn't show her face and was wearing a coat, keeping her appearance concealed.

There was someone else in a suit. He was almost fifty years old and had a cane in his hand. He looked up at them, as though he had been waiting.

Prince tightened his grip and Magician reacted in the same manner. Only Qin Mo remained indifferent. He didn't look at that person, moving his gaze away towards a man dressed in a white coat.

"He is our Wang," Scorpion introduced. "Wang, this is Boss Rong."

The man with the cane reached his arm out. "Welcome."

Qin Mo lifted his lips, his thoughts unknown and gaze deep. "Nice to meet you."

"Come, please." The man reached out, welcoming Qin Mo into the house. Almost immediately after entering the house, the smell of poppies overwhelmed his senses.

"Sir, you seem to be enjoying it," Qin Mo remarked.

He chuckled. "Boss Rong, you know your stuff. I have grown accustomed to the fragrance. It gives me a good night's sleep." The man pulled out a cigar, passing one to Qin Mo. "Care to smoke one?" he asked.

Prince gripped his hands subconsciously. After all, everyone knew not to accept any cigarette related items in this area since they couldn't be sure of the contents. But before he could react, Qin Mo reached for the cigar, tossing him a stick. "Test it."

Prince reached for the cigar, not showing his emotions.

The man narrowed his eyes. "Boss Rong, what is the meaning of this?"

"I may be doing business in this area but, I will never touch this stuff." Qin Mo lifted his legs, his aura overwhelming. "Sir, what is the meaning of giving me this? You doubt my identity? Sir, what about you? Are you really Kawang?"

The man stiffened, caught off guard by his bluntness. He didn't look like a soldier or someone sent by the military. Instead, he seemed like someone from the mafia. What should he say?

The man didn't have a clue, his gaze shifting to the side. At this moment, even Prince could tell that there was something amiss with Kawang. Why was he always glancing over at his doctor?

At that moment, someone interrupted his thoughts. "Boss Rong has a good eye."

The doctor walked forward in his white coat and gold rimmed spectacles. He had a gentle appearance and indescribable elegance to him. He glanced at the group that entered, his lips curving into a reassuring yet dangerous smile.

Chapter 1263

The real Kawang!

Prince suddenly understood something, glancing up towards the 'family doctor'.

He walked over to the seat that belonged to him, directly opposite Qin Mo. The man in disguise stood up, moving to the side respectfully.

Psychiatrist and Magician watched on nervously.

Even though Boss had made a drastic change to his experience, so much that Fan Jia wasn't able to tell the difference, Kawang wasn't Fan Jia. His meticulous and deep thoughts aside, he was also an experienced criminal psychologist. Such a person wouldn't identify others through their appearance.

This was similar to Qin Mo. They were the same type and were skilled in reading the small details. For example, behavior, speech, and even the tiniest details such as how they drank water could become a fatal observation.

Kawang didn't appear immediately so that he could scrutinize them.

It was a pity his man couldn't keep up the pretense.

Kawang looked over towards the fierce looking face and laughed. "Cut open the cigar away, it'll make the testing more convenient."

"Yes." Scorpion reached over and sliced the cigar into two. It was filled with tobacco and white powder.

Qin Mo broke into a meaningful smile. "I can see why you aren't afraid of being caught. The packaging looks very natural."

"It's alright." Kawang laughed and raised the teacup, pouring tea for Qin Mo. "I'm a fan of Chinese calligraphy but it's a pity there aren't many strokes. I used to have a student who was skilled in calligraphy. It's a pity he doesn't follow me anymore but he ignited my passion in Chinese culture so..."

As Kawang stilled, Fan Jia passed him a ballpoint pen. Kawang tipped the pen, pure white powder spilling out.

Prince bit down on his teeth, suppressing his anger. They were using stationary to move their goods!

But Psychiatrist and Magician were thinking about something else. The student that Kawang was referring to...

In that instant, Psychiatrist felt a sinking feeling engulfing him. What did Kawang mean? Did he see through Boss's disguise? Why else would he have mentioned his student?

Their thoughts were a mess and they were in an extremely dangerous situation. He shouldn't allow his feelings to be led by Kawang. Those that learnt about psychology would be more sensitive than others.

If Kawang's thoughts were as such, it meant that his boss's thoughts would be much more complex. If Kawang wasn't certain of his identity and was testing them, their boss's next reply would be crucial.

"Not bad." Qin Mo examined the ballpoint pen. "I have a better idea."

In that instant, the sinister glint in Kawang's eyes dimmed. He arched a brow. "Oh? What do you have in mind?"

"Correction fluid would be a much safer option." Qin Mo tossed the pen, his aura overwhelming.

Kawang stilled, breaking into a smile. "Our cooperation is definitely worth celebrating. Why don't we have some tea and watch a movie while they examine the goods? As for the different channels, we can have a good chat..."

Chapter 1264

Watch a movie? He couldn't possibly be in the mood.

Psychiatrist glanced over at his boss worriedly.

However, Kawang didn't seem to be seeking anyone's opinion. When he lifted his arm, his men were already making the necessary preparations.

Their seats were directly opposite the screen. If they stood up and left, all their efforts would have been in vain. They had already gotten hold of important information and the moment they got hold of a signal, they would be able to send out the exact location and their reinforcements could arrive to destroy this hell-like place.

But Kawang wasn't an easy target. What exactly was he up to? Because he couldn't figure it out, Psychiatrist felt uncertain.

Kawang raised his wine glass towards them. "Boss Rong, I wasn't sure of your movie preference and decided to take the liberty since I'm a huge fan of detective movies. Boss Rong, don't be in a rush to leave, such well filmed movies are hard to come by."

"Oh? Is that so?" Qin Mo arched a brow, his face indifferent. "I'm intrigued by your recommendation."

Kawang laughed. "You might like it since they managed to cast a good lead."

Psychiatrist was worried about it being a test. His boss couldn't have not known that Kawang definitely had something up his sleeves. Was it a test? The last test?

Psychiatrist tightened his grip, trying to figure out the situation.

Even someone as clueless as Prince knew the movie invitation wasn't as innocent as it seemed. He turned to watch the air brewing between them. Especially the smile on Kawang's face, it was just like a poisonous snake, sinister and deadly, a contrast to his gentle elegance.

Meanwhile at the West shore, swooshing could be heard. The mercenary patrolling frowned, walking towards the bushes with their rifles. Just then, before he could even react, a figure flew down from the trees, pushing a needle into his neck. A fatal blow!

The mercenary opened his mouth as he caught sight of the youngster and stopped breathing. Bo Jiu pulled him ashore. Beneath the layers of banana leaves was a car door.

She moved swiftly, stripping the mercenary and changing into his clothes in less than a minute.

The navigation system perked. ""The network has been completely blocked off, I can't contact the outside world and they can't contact me. Master, I won't be able to lock down your position. You have to be careful. Little Blackie will be waiting for you."

Without wasting any more time, Bo Jiu tapped Little Blackie's car door and shifted the banana leaves back over him.

When she turned, she was an entirely different person. She wore the mercenary's clothes and had a scarf over her face. In order to look like one of them, she had even placed a temporary tattoo near her eye.

The only useful weapons she carried were a rifle and four needles because that was the only way she could stay incognito and destroy the signal towers.

She had to pack light in order to blend in naturally...

Chapter 1265

Bo Jiu was still at the outermost layer of the island. She had to move forward. She glanced up towards the signal obstruction towers three kilometers ahead.

The next second, she stiffened. There were poppies everywhere, swaying with the wind. It was a beautiful yet dangerous sight.

Smelling the pollen of such flowers for an extended period would affect one's concentration.

Without a network signal, the laptop wasn't going to be useful. But of course, that wasn't certain since there were loopholes she could make use of.

Bo Jiu swept a glance over the communication device and black earpiece she took from the mercenary, her eyes dim. With the signal shielding tower, network intrusion would be easy to detect. It was a technique she had used before. Hence, she wasn't about to go down that slippery slope.

Based on the timing, the Almighty should have already met up with Kawang. A network intrusion at such a time would expose the Almighty's identity.

Bo Jiu tilted her head. There were many ways to stop the signal obstruction tower from operating, intrusion was just one of it. She would have to shut it down without anyone noticing in order to protect the Almighty's identity and for the allocated teams to have sufficient time to locate the exact location.

Bo Jiu believed the Almighty had settled the rest of the plan, which was the reason she was so certain there were reinforcements nearby. They should be stuck at the last position the Almighty had been at. They might be worried but couldn't just search for them recklessly since that would put all their past efforts in vain and Kawang would have time to escape, just like the previous time.

They couldn't give him the chance. They could only take action once the exact location had been confirmed. This was the only way to catch Kawang off guard.

Was that also what you thought, Brother Mo?

Bo Jiu glanced up, fastened the earpiece, and was prepared to move when a voice came from behind. "Hey, you, where are you supposed to be? What are you doing here?"

Bo Jiu turned with her rifle, speaking the native language. "I'm taking a piss, watching the farmers all day is giving me a headache."

"Don't be too relaxed, Wang emphasized that there can be no mistake today." He glanced at Bo Jiu, leaving without another word since he never expected anyone to disguise as one of them. Just a day ago, Kawang had locked up all the spies and those suspected of being spies, meaning there wasn't any issue with the ones left behind. Hence, that man wasn't as guarded. Besides, there were tests in the waters around the island. Since the alarms didn't go off, it wasn't likely for someone to have entered. Moreover, there wasn't even a boat in sight.

He couldn't know that Bo Jiu hadn't entered through the water surface but rather from deep inside the water.

She tightened the face scarf, her gaze dark and deep as she followed behind the man.

Bo Jiu wouldn't take action because of the voice coming from the earpiece.

"No.7, No.7, what is wrong? Speak."

"I went to the toilet."

"Keep your communication device switched on the next time you use the toilet. How's the situation at your end?"

"Everything normal." Once she was done reporting, she pushed the needles back into her pocket.

Every single one of the mercenaries carried a Bluetooth earpiece. Once one of them stopped speaking, the communication team would detect something amiss. Hence, she couldn't touch any of them unless absolutely necessary.

This added an additional layer of pressure to her ambush since there would definitely be someone watching the signal obstruction towers. It seemed like she could only make use of the time difference.

She had to find out the frequency of the reporting.

Once she reached the engine room, she would definitely injure someone. Gaining control of the engine room was the only way to shut down the signal obstruction towers without detection. This made the timing she took action a crucial factor.

Bo Jiu tilted her head, her eyes dark and bright...

She was right. She knew him well enough to predict his actions.

Qin Mo approached Kawang in such a manner in order to buy time. While they were discussing the details of their business, the department would be able to accurately locate this large poppy plantation.

In order to safely rescue the hostages, they had to catch him off guard.

If Kawang noticed anything, the ordinary tourists would lose their lives. And that school near the border...

Even though the movie was a deadly test, he couldn't stand up. He remained seated watching the screen, his fingers holding onto the teacup. Due to the scar on his face, he looked ruthless and formidable.

Kawang held onto the remote control. After pushing his spectacles up his nose, he turned on the screen.

It wasn't a movie but a video caught by the surveillance cameras in a school. Qin Mo leaned back. "Seems like our preferences differ, I'm not interested in campus-themed literary films." He turned. "How's the inspection?"

Prince knew he had to go into character. "It's alright, top grade. Brother, do we really have to stay and watch the movie? It's boring."

"Find something to do if you're bored, don't cause trouble," Qin Mo replied in an even tone.

Kawang laughed. "Take Second Young Master Rong out to play. This video is mainly for Boss Rong. Boss Rong, don't misunderstand, this is not a literary film, you will understand soon, it's something interesting I encountered when I was out."

Just then, a fat girl was suddenly pushed against the wall by a group of girls. There was no sound but the expressions were caught in the video. The girls folded their arms around their chest and seemed to be questioning the fat girl – but their methods weren't kind. One of them raised her hair, pushing it against the fat girl's shoulder.

In that instant, the air in the room shifted. School violence?

Prince tried to hide his emotions. What was this footage about? Those were high school students from their country. Was it a local school? Which one was it?

Prince had been to school. Back then, there had been times he had seen girls coming together to ostracize others. But this wasn't the case. This...

Before his thoughts could form, a loud bang sounded.

Chapter 1266

As the fat girl in the video ran out, he assumed it was the end. However, the next scene was in a classroom. The teacher led a transfer student in and that student was the little black fellow!

Prince struggled to maintain his expression but, in that instant, his hands were clenching the arms of his chair. What was with this situation? Little black fellow went on a mission and was discovered?

Prince released his grip, turning to his boss.

At that moment, Kawang focused on Boss Rong's face, completely oblivious to anyone else.

Qin Mo lifted his legs, the same position as before, with his hands supported by his chin as though he wasn't interested in the video and only glancing at it occasionally. It seemed as if Bo Jiu's appearance didn't interest him. But no one knew, in that instant, his heart skipped a beat.

Kawang lifted his arm, raising his wine glass. "Seems like Boss Rong isn't interested."

"I'm alright." Qin Mo returned his toast. "I'm more concerned about our business."

Kawang laughed. "I am as well but the interesting part has yet to begin, let's watch on."

Qin Mo didn't object, as though it didn't matter. But the next time his gaze returned to the screen, his heart constricted. Wasn't she in the camp? What was she doing there? Qin Mo shook his wine glass. It was the only way to suppress the uneasiness inside him.

Kawang continued, a hint of regret in his tone, "Originally, all the students in this school were supposed to be my hostage but this youngster ruined everything. Boss Rong, you might not be able to tell but this high school student isn't simple at all. It's a pity she found me."

Qin Mo lifted his hand and took a sip of wine, looking ruthless. "Interesting."

"Indeed." Kawang retracted his gaze, turning towards Fan Jia. The question in his eyes was obvious.

When Fan Jia nodded, Kawang lowered his head and smiled, his eyes dangerous. As of this moment, there still weren't any loopholes. He suspected the person leading the negotiations to be Qin Mo but this Boss Rong seemed to belong to the mafia. Even his tiniest actions were unlike something Qin Mo would do.

In his memory, that young man had always been arrogant, his gaze bored when he had looked at him. That was his worst experience as a professor. The entire university had looked at him with worship and admiration but Qin Mo, the person he had chosen to take over, had looked at him with such a gaze.

They had contrasting views even though they had the same profound understanding of human nature. But he hadn't cooperated with him and had even arrested him, sending him into prison.

Heh, ordinary people were meant to be used. It was time Qin Mo understood this.

Yes, Kawang didn't wish to kill Qin Mo. As compared to having him dead, he would much rather turn him into his underling. As long as he could activate the hypnosis, Qin Mo would become his best weapon against the military. This was the reason he needed to be certain. Was this Boss Rong looking for business or did he have another identity?

Chapter 1267

As it wasn't easy to cultivate poppies, the mercenaries patrolled often so that the farmers didn't have other thoughts. Likewise, this area became the most heavily guarded region.

Inside the wooden hut amidst this sea of flowers, Bo Jiu carried her rifle, passing one of the farmers, her actions fierce and menacing. No one suspected her even after she had arrived at the engine room.

In order to enter the engine room, Bo Jiu would have to recite a password. She paced about to and fro, looking like a guard on patrol but in reality, she was listening to the password. Three batches of men had entered since she had waited but each had different passwords. With such a defense system, it would be hard to enter even with her memory.

Just as she was about to narrow her eyes, the fourth batch walked over. Bo Jiu arched a brow, biting down on a cigarette. Holding her rifle in her right hand, her left hand circled around the man's shoulders. "Brother, do you have a lighter?"

"Of course." The man eyed her. "I haven't seen you around, when did you arrive? Are you in charge of the engine room?"

Bo Jiu looked at him, sensing his suspicion. She smiled. "I'm quite new."

"That explains why I haven't seen you before." The man brought his lighter towards her.

After he lit her cigarette, Bo Jiu didn't continue walking with him. Instead, she raised her arm. "Thanks."

"No problem." His suspicion was dispelled when she stopped walking alongside him and he entered the engine room.

Bo Jiu dangled the cigarette, resuming her patrol naturally as though all she had wanted to do was borrowing a lighter. If she had continued following him, her identity would have been exposed. Invading the engine room was proving to be harder than she had expected. It seemed as if she would have to monitor patiently.

Bo Jiu lifted her lids, spitting a circle of smoke as she watched the sun set and the seventh batch reciting their password. She broke into a smile. There were only three passwords.

She walked towards the engine room, pretending to be the eighth batch. The guards looked up at Bo Jiu and asked. "Password."

Bo Jiu searched through her memory, reciting the password slowly. The guards exchanged glances before moving to the side and forming a path.

Bo Jiu entered the engine room with her rifle. The engine room was huge and there were six surveillance cameras in the walkway, all of them an obstacle. Hence, she had to take on another identity, allowing her to move about casually without the use of violence.

Bo Jiu had a sudden change of plans. After seeing all the surveillance cameras, she didn't intend to just destroy the signal obstruction towers because there was another safer plan. She would make use of the computers here to analyze the IP address, which wouldn't be affected by the signal obstruction tower.

The signal obstruction tower acted as a safety net, concealing this island perfectly so that others wouldn't be able to find it. If they had their own network and facilities, it would be outside the signal obstruction tower's range in order for them to communicate with the outside world.

Bo Jiu had noticed that none of them had a phone. Even the mercenaries didn't have one, much less to say the farmers. The only way to send out the address without detection was using the five sets of computers in the engine room.

Bo Jiu glanced through the glass window. There was technical staff making adjustments. When one of them left to do something else, Bo Jiu walked over. The surveillance cameras didn't catch anything amiss since Bo Jiu looked like a guard on patrol.

Bo Jiu didn't take action immediately, instead, she waited until the staff entered the washroom. When he wasn't paying attention, Bo Jiu knocked him off decisively, pulling him into one of the compartments.

Bo Jiu studied his condition before stripping him. She straightened, pulling on her new clothes suavely, her hair ruffled.

The next time she appeared, she had changed into another set of clothes and was unlike her previous appearance. She wore black-framed spectacles, oiled her hair, and wore a jacket. Even the way she walked was different, with her back slightly hunched, a perfect embodiment of a geeky IT boy.

From the back, no one would have realized the difference. It was a flawless disguise. But right when she wanted to walk, she noticed a young boy watching her while washing his hands.

The boy was about eleven years old, his skin extremely tanned from long periods under the harsh sun. Due to the environment he was brought up, he was bony, especially his arms which made him look small and weak. He didn't show any aggression, his eyes pitch dark.

When Bo Jiu stepped past him, she could see from the mirror as he reached for his gun in his pocket. The next second, the gun was out and aiming at her back.

Swoosh!

The boy hadn't expected her to defend against him. Before he could fire a shot, a military knife appeared, stabbing his neck. He could barely say a word, stepping backwards with eyes wide open.

Bo Jiu reached out to hold him. She pulled the little boy's already cold body towards the technical staff from before.

At the beginning, Bo Jiu hadn't guarded against the little boy even though he might have heard something. When she approached him, she felt a familiar image float into mind.

The bible had mentioned that when a soul left the body, she would be reminded of many things in her life, her memories playing back in her mind like a movie. But there were some memories she would lose. For instance, the reason she had left her body and memories she had deliberately tried to blur out. That was how she could rest in peace. In that instant, she had a flashback. Why did she die?

Because she had a moment of soft-heartedness. She had been walking on the boisterous streets of Tokyo after completing a mission. The joyful Christmas atmosphere could be felt.

A balloon from an eleven-year-old had floated on a tree and she had tugged on Bo Jiu's sleeve, asking her for help. The moment she had turned her back, the girl had pulled out a gun.

It had been a similar occurrence. Kawang liked nurturing demons and Bo Jiu wouldn't make the same mistake twice because what she had learnt from the Almighty was enough to detect the danger from that child.

He might be young but he had a frightening impact. Children that survived in such environments weren't that innocent.

Besides, Kawang lived here...

Bo Jiu raised her arm, wiping the blood stains on her face. She knew that if the others such as Prince were here, they wouldn't be able to act so mercilessly. But she wasn't like them, her heart had turned black long ago. Only occasionally, it would turn white because of someone.

Bo Jiu tired her jacket and when she left the toilet, her back was hunched again, perfect for her new identity.

There weren't any surveillance cameras in the toilet. Hence, the guards watching the surveillance cameras hadn't detected anything amiss. Fan Jia had deliberately taken a trip to the surveillance room but even she hadn't been able to see through her disguise.

She wasn't Kawang or Qin Mo, she could only tell from the obvious details. Moreover, she hadn't been looking carefully and just a quick glance wouldn't be able to detect anything. Furthermore, Bo Jiu hadn't just picked anyone. After monitoring, she had gotten someone with a similar physique.

Each technical staff was focused on his computer, hence none of them had noticed anything when Bo Jiu sat down. But she couldn't act too blatantly because the surveillance cameras were still there...

At this moment, inside the wooden hut, the next footage was of someone struggling underwater.

To Prince, it seemed like a prank but Psychiatrist had detected something amiss. This wasn't the surveillance footage anymore. Why did Kawang include such footage? Wait a minute, water!

It had always affected his boss's emotions. Even the others weren't sure what had happened but the person leading the hypnosis was. Before Psychiatrist could speak up, Qin Mo asked, "How's the purity?"

"It's pure," Psychiatrist replied.

Qin Mo laughed as though the footage hadn't affected him, toasting Kawang's glass. "To a harmonious cooperation."

"To a harmonious cooperation." Kawang's eyes dimmed as he continued to study him.

At this moment, the footage changed. The youngster was walking to the school clinic by herself to find Kawang. It was clearly her.

Inside the video, Kawang looked very intellectual and elegant, helping the youngster take her temperature. The youngster wasn't the least bit guarded. The next second, Kawang took a look at her temperature. He stood up towards the hot water area and poured medicine into the cup. If the youngster drank that cup, she would definitely be in danger. Kawang had already detected the problem or he wouldn't be toying the hypnosis device on his desk...

Chapter 1268

Psychiatrist turned to look at Qin Mo instinctively because recruit No.10 wasn't just an ordinary soldier to his boss. He could still remember how many rules he had broken in the military in order to be intimate with No.10. Moreover, he had never expected to see such a smile on his boss's face; so pure and clean, just because he was reminded of No.10.

But now, it was obvious that No.10 was trapped. In the video, Kawang had turned to pass the medicine to the youngster. The youngster reached forward when suddenly, the video stopped.

Prince's eyes turned red but he couldn't lift his head or show any abnormality.

Kawang seemed to be in a good mood, pouring himself another glass of wine. "Boss Rong, can you guess what happened to that student?"

Qin Mo felt his entire heart go cold. It was so painful it had gone numb. He seemed to pull his soul away, smiling. "Sir, I won't be able to guess with your abilities. But over at our side, we would break their limbs."

"That is too gory for a weak doctor like myself, I much prefer to keep it clean." Kawang shook the wine glass in his hands. "Didn't you see the pond just now? It's near the school gym. I tied two rocks on the student's legs and threw him into the pond. Ge was still alive when I tossed him in but with a sharp blop, he sunk all the way down."

Qin Mo listened to his words. His deduction skills told him not to believe Kawang but his brain seemed to have numbed, his body sinking deeper and deeper. He didn't dare to think anymore as the images were floating to his mind. He had dreamt about it a countless number of times but never once had he believed it.

He continued to sink lower and lower. He reached out but no one came to pull him, because of the distance, he couldn't even see her one last time...

"Boss, we're done with the inspection." Psychiatrist walked over, spilling a teacup with a sharp clank. He jumped as though he had done the wrong thing. "Boss, forgive me."

Qin Mo's fingers twitched, a tiny change to his eyes. "You broke Kawang's cup, not mine."

Psychiatrist turned and was about to apologize as Kawang lifted his hands, his smile graceful. "It's just a teacup. In the future, Boss Rong will be here often, these are all trivial matters."

With that, Scorpion knew that there was no issue with the business, Boss Rong had passed their king's test. Indeed, Boss Rong had been focused on his goods from the beginning, which was unlike his initial conjecture.

The hypnosis had started but he didn't seem to be affected. This shouldn't be, unless the person in the video wasn't important or wasn't Qin Mo. Kawang was more inclined with the latter since that youngster was Qin Mo's only Achilles heel. She was definitely important.

Even though it was a pity he didn't get to witness the image he had desired, the other factors weren't bad. For instance, there wasn't a problem with his business partners and they could proceed with their business cooperation.

Kawang looked at Fan Jia, who walked forward and inspected the money. "Wang, they only brought half the deposit."

"Oh." Kawang turned back to Qin Mo. "Boss Rong, what is the meaning of this?"

"Sir, you have a way of guarding against others." Qin Mo raised his eyes. "You arranged the meeting location but you wouldn't even let us know what the address is. Sir, you should know the scariest thing about doing business is a betrayal. I am afraid of encountering one. In addition, the Rong family practices such a habit, to pay the full deposit only after the negotiations are complete."

It was reasonable. Those that dealt in the black market often would be cautious since betrayal was commonplace.

Qin Mo stood up and grabbed his jacket. "Since there isn't anything wrong with the goods, instruct our consultant to send the other half of the deposit into Kawang's account."

Prince replied naturally, "Brother, don't bother, I tried but there isn't any reception here."

"Apologies." Kawang smiled and said, "Second Young Master is definitely not used to it. It's a defense strategy against the Chinese side since they can't seem to let me off." Kawang paused. „Fan Jia, pass your phone to Boss Rong."

"Yes." Fan Jia reached out to pass him her phone. Since he wasn't that person, he wasn't anything worth watching.

Qin Mo didn't move.

Prince didn't know what his boss was up to but they couldn't just give up on the phone since this was what they had been after.

He reached out and placed the phone in Qin Mo's palm. "Brother, you contact him. He might not listen to me."

Qin Mo's eyes deepened. Prince couldn't read the emotions but deep inside was an indescribable danger.

"Mmh, contact them." Qin Mo pressed a string of numbers.

Ring...

Normally speaking, there would definitely be someone picking up the call as it was the phone that had been waiting for this entire time! According to the plan, Qin Mo would be contacting them using this phone.

It was an unknown number. General Qin was wearing his uniform, lifting his hand to pick up the call. "Hello, Consultant?"

The phone was on speaker mode while the meeting room was silent, giving General Qin time to communicate. Very quickly, someone signaled the others to start locating them!

General Qin replied in a deep voice, "It's me."

That voice seemed to clear his mind. "There is no issue with the goods, the money can be sent over."

"What's the account number?" Those weren't important questions as the main point was to use the conversation time to locate the operations team! Since account numbers were usually very long, it would drag the call. That had been Qin Mo's plan from the start.

It was in the event Kawang's side cut off all the signal, causing them to lose touch with the operations team. They could finally see a glimpse of light.

But no one expected the light to end so quickly. Just as Qin Mo repeated the first two numbers, the signal was cut off and the line went dead.

Du... du... du...

"F*ck!" The technical soldier in the meeting room clenched his fists. "Almost, just a little while longer and we would have found their location!"

The entire meeting room glanced over, everyone worried about the same thing. "How is it?"

As the technical soldier shook his head, the most senior member instructed, "Continue to trace them!"

The technical soldier wanted to continue as well but he knew that as long as the signal was dead, there was no way he could continue tracing them. They didn't just hang up, they had destroyed the communication card.

Indeed, right when Qin Mo had said the second number, Kawang had reached out and taken the phone, a smile on his face. "Fan Jia can send the bank account number over."

He tossed the phone behind. Fan Jia pulled out the communication card and destroyed it.

Hunter and Magician tightened their grip, they weren't sure if the military could locate them in such a short amount of time. But Psychiatrist wasn't worried about that as his boss was more important. Perhaps their boss himself hadn't realized that the light that was shining from his eyes had changed. What was Boss thinking?

Qin Mo wasn't thinking of anything; his entire brain was filled with images and every one of them was linked to the youngster. At the end, it was of her being drowned in water and the arm he couldn't reach in time...

At this moment, the technical soldier in the meeting room was still sparing no efforts in his attempts to track the operations team. He was just about to report the hopelessness to General Qin when suddenly, a red dot appeared on his connection web! Here, this was where Young Master had called from. Wait a minute.

"This!" The signal was sent out? Someone had invaded their network? How was that possible?

Even though it was unbelievable, they had indeed found the location. The technical soldier didn't hesitate. Once they had the red dot, he could easily locate them.

In under a minute, the technical soldier shouted, "General, we, we found it! The coordinates are 35 degrees north latitude, 47 degrees south latitude."

Unbeknownst to him, he wasn't the only one who had received the information. The red dot lit up for anyone who was tracking Qin Mo and the others, including Fatty and Young Master Tang. Instantly, the navy, army and air force charged towards the same location.

Inside the engine room, Bo Jiu was still in her seat, wearing the black-rimmed spectacles. The computer screen appeared to be adjusting the local surveillance system but in reality, the code was still running under the hidden dialog box.

She did not invade the network but had opened the computer room to maximize the IP sharing.

The engine room's IP was shared – but only within the area. She enlarged the scope and destroyed the password before she created a fake protective cover to stabilize the balance of the regional network to send out the address without detection. The signal obstruction towers were still working and no one could use their phones.

They assumed it was safe but in reality, their position had been leaked. Today was the only day Kawang didn't inspect the engine room and that was because he was having a business meeting. But very quickly, he had sent Fan Jia over.

At this moment, Bo Jiu had started on the system restoration and was wiping out all traces, returning the IP address back to its original state.

She stood up, pushed her spectacles, and walked towards the washroom naturally. The next time she reappeared, she had changed in the mercenary's disguise and was holding on to the rifle.

Bo Jiu hadn't expected to bump straight into Fan Jia. Fortunately, she had a dark skin tone and a layer of beard. Bo Jiu didn't hide away, instead, she walked towards Fan Jia's direction as if she was on patrol duty.

They brushed past each other. Fan Jia suddenly turned to look at the youngster once more and narrowed her eyes. "Wait a minute."

Bo Jiu paused, turning very slowly. She was thinking if her injection or the muscled man beside Fan Jia would be faster.

Time seemed to slow until Fan Jia took a glance at her and asked, "Did you see anyone suspicious?"

"No." Bo Jiu loosened her grip on the injection needle, so that she looked more natural and the tattoo on the corner of the eye was more obvious.

Fan Jia had more important things on hand and wouldn't be focusing on a mercenary. She turned and pushed open the glass door.

Bo Jiu stood outside and could hear her voice. "Did anything suspicious happen?"

"No."

"Where is the person on computer No.2?"

"He should have gone to the toilet, he was here a while ago."

Fan Jia frowned. She switched on computer No.2. Her first reaction was to scan the entire network web and check for intrusion records or traces of cracks in the firewall. While she was at it, she also checked for any abnormality within the computer but she didn't find anything. She stood up, looking upset. "Next time, no one is allowed to leave individually, not even to the toilet. Understand?"

"Yes."

Once she received the answer she wanted, she ran another test on the protective devices. Everything was running smoothly. At this moment, Fan Jia wasn't sure what she had left out.

If Kawang came, perhaps he would be able to detect something very quickly. Regardless of how smart she was, she wouldn't have known about the intrusion behind the perfectly normal engine room and that the person who had invaded the system was already out of the engine room.

She reached out to cover the scarf over her face. The way She walked seemed almost savage. Additionally, she held the rifle, a murderous glint in her eyes. Hence, no one suspected her identity.

Bo Jiu continued forward, one hand stuffed into her pocket as she passed through the sea of flowers. Her next target would be the wooden hut ahead.

Bo Jiu tilted her head, breaking into a smile. Brother Mo, I'll be able to see you very soon and when the time comes, you have to caress my head and compliment me.

Chapter 1269

But right at this moment, Bo Jiu still wasn't aware of Qin Mo's pain.

The fastest the reinforcements could reach the island was ten minutes. During these ten minutes, Qin Mo suppressed the images countless number of times but he couldn't stop the emptiness and pain in his heart.

No one expected his eyes to dim. Even Kawang hadn't noticed. His attention was still focused on Fan Jia's side. "How is it?"

"Master, don't worry, everything is working well in the engine room."

"Alright." Kawang smiled and continued to lead the group along the lake where the poppies were in full bloom, the yield for his newest product – a candy more addictive than Ecstasy. Perhaps, it was better described as a drug disguised as a candy though.

Prince felt his eyes twitch.

Kawang was pleased with his shock and broke one stalk. "This is the perfect disguise, which makes it easier to pass through customs. Those stationaries still carry a certain level of risk but these fake candies aren't the same. Moreover, this is the hottest new product in the Chinese market. But the checks are too stringent and some hands are harder to grease, it would be good if the Rong family could provide other channels."

At this moment, Prince was glad they had disguised as peddlers to contact Kawang because he was pure evil. He didn't seem to have any idea what was right or wrong. What if these items entered the supermarket by accident? Children would definitely be misled.

Prince couldn't bear to imagine the consequences. Kawang wanted to use drugs to control everyone's life?

"How is it? Second Young Master Rong doesn't seem pleased with the packaging?" Kawang's observation skills were still on form, his eyes studying Prince's gloomy expression.

That instant, everyone detected the message. There was a flaw on their side and Kawang was suspicious!

After Fan Jia hung up the call, she glanced back at computer no. 2. After waiting for another three minutes, she asked, "When did he go to the toilet?"

"It's been about fifteen minutes." The technical staff at the side frowned. "What's happening, has it been that long?"

Fan Jia wasn't dumb, her instinct told her something had gone wrong! She turned and paced towards the toilet.

The mercenaries had entered before her and when they reached the last cubicle, they turned. "There is someone inside."

Fan Jia narrowed her eyes. "Kick it open."

"Yes." The mercenaries were strong and with one kick, the wooden door flew open.

There was indeed someone inside but completely unlike what they had imagined. One was a knocked out technical staff and another was a young boy with a needle attached to the back of his head. This only meant one thing.

Fan Jia didn't hesitate. Her first reaction was to call Kawang.

"Hello." Kawang was still watching Prince, his gaze so obscure no one could read the emotions behind.

Fan Jia spoke in an urgent tone, "Master, the engine room has been touched, there is something wrong with the group doing business!"

Kawang tightened his fists but no one could tell. He glanced over, his smile graceful, not a hint of murderous aura. "I understand, if it isn't anything major, you can head over after making the preparations. I still have to introduce our new product to Boss Rong."

Fan Jia had been with Kawang long enough to understand the meaning behind his words, it meant that they were still here and for them to feign ignorance so as to lead them to their death!

These people weren't afraid of death, coming batches after batches. Though this group seemed smarter than before. But so what? All of them were going to die here!

Fan Jia hated that she hadn't caught the youngster in the video. Otherwise, she could feed her drugs, ruining her life forever. It was better than just killing her.

Kawang hung up and glanced at the group. "Everyone must be hungry, let's have some snacks while looking at the new products. Scorpion."

"Here." Scorpion still wasn't aware of the problem.

Kawang broke into a smile. "We always treat our valued guests with a scrumptious meal, bring some for Boss Rong."

Scorpion stiffened and immediately understood his intentions. His eyes were showing a dangerous glint as he swept them a slow glance before he lowered his head and replied, "Yes."

When he turned, his expression had changed. He turned towards the mercenaries looking at him and caressed his throat.

Kawang continued to lead them forward.

Just as Prince and the others were about to continue, they caught sight of their boss's hand. The hand holding the cigarette lowered, tapping his pants lightly. Once, twice, three times, at a fast tempo. It was a code commonly used during the second world war and it meant, "Kawang is going to take action."

In that instant, both Hunter and Wolf searched for weapons instinctively while Kawang continued, "I'm very impressed with Boss Rong' s charisma, it's a pity, it really is a pity..."

He tilted his head, reaching for his rifle. However, he hadn't expected the man beside him to intercept him, kicking the rifle in his hand!

Kawang's eyes sank and the mercenaries gathered and opened fire. But the group seemed to have prepared beforehand, sliding into the field and using the harvesting equipment to shield themselves.

Prince leaned against a tyre. Before he could start panting, his boss instructed, "Jacket."

When Prince snapped back to his senses, he removed his jacket and tossed it over. Qin Mo and Wolf pulled the accessories and started to assemble. In less than twenty seconds, two small guns appeared.

Prince wore bullets around his wrist. There weren't a lot, just ten, enough to fit into two guns! They were subjected to stringent checks before they could enter after all.

Scorpion had made sure even their ears were checked and thus wouldn't have expected them to have guns.

"Charge, they aren't armed," Scorpion instructed, lifting the rifle in his hand.

But the next second, a gunshot was heard. The mercenary nearest to the harvesting equipment had his head exploded.

"They have a sniper!"

The mercenaries dispersed. Just then, a second bullet was fired from thin air and another mercenary was shot in the chest.

Scorpion was caught off guard as he saw the black leather jacket. He kicked a wooden bucket at the corner violently, poppies spilling out from the corners! They had tricked him so blatantly!

Second Young Master Rong wasn't a fan of such ostentatious clothing covered with gold accessories, those pendants could be assembled into a gun! The thought hadn't occurred to him before since Prince's image as a novae riche had been so well portrayed and because it wasn't easy to see through the Almighty's schemes.

This led to Scorpion's mistake and could show how well planned the ploy was. Since the start, everything had been in their hands, including the sort of person they were going to disguise as.

Very quickly, Scorpion realized they were unlike those they had met before. "Ah!" Scorpion shouted in frustration, pointing his rifle in their direction. "Who exactly are you?!"

Qin Mo's eyes were darker than before. He seemed to jolt awake when a bullet brushed past him. He glanced up and replied, "A soldier from China."

Those four words seemed to seep into his heart.

Prince bolted upright, reached for the rifle Wolf tossed over, and shot a mercenary that came from the right. Three were down and none of them were affected.

Kawang's face was darker than before. "Set the cannon."

"Yes." Scorpion's eyes flashed, pushing the mercenaries at his side and placing a huge barrel onto his shoulder. That cannon had an explosive impact. It wasn't just the equipment, even the people behind would be smashed into bits. But at this moment, a large buzzing could be heard from above.

All of a sudden, everyone looked up at the sky! One, two, three, four...

A total of eighteen fighter planes with the characteristic red flag flew out of the clouds.

This time, there wasn't any warning. With the evidence from the operation team, they had enough reason to send their troops across the borders.

Kawang punishment had to be decided in China.

If he landed in someone else's hands, no one could be certain if history would repeat itself and if he would make use of his upper-class connections to save himself.

From all the past events, there was definitely an issue with the MT government after all. This was also the reason Kawang could act so fearlessly.

Although the military aircrafts swarmed in, Kawang wasn't worried at all. "They won't dare to act rashly as there are many mines buried in the island. We wouldn't be the only casualty if they threw a bomb."

Indeed, the military planes couldn't just annihilate the entire island. Scorpion broke into a smile, directing his cannon at one of the planes.

BANG!

One of them was shot, losing balance. Amidst the fiery sky, Kawang wiped his glasses and put them on again. His eyes met the eyes behind the harvesting equipment, the corner of his mouth smiling faintly. "Boss Rong, oh no, it should be Student Qin. As a professor teaching for such a long time, you have always been my favorite student. Unfortunately, it's so gory every time we meet. You didn't react just now when we were watching the video or did you really fool me? But Qin Mo... Ask yourself, are you really unaffected?"

Chapter 1270

Psychiatrist's head shot back. Due to Boss's position, he wasn't able to see his expression and thus started to feel uneasy. That uneasiness was indescribable because just his stance alone made Psychiatrist feel a chill within him.

Qin Mo stood there, a rifle in his hand as though nothing affected him at all. Something was definitely wrong! Boss shouldn't be acting in this manner.

Kawang must have detected something before him. Indeed, the more he studied Qin Mo, the thicker his smile. "It hasn't been easy but we're about to separate. I would very much love to have a good chat with you regarding all our topics, I believe you have a differing view from today onwards." Kawang glanced down at his watch. "It's about time, Scorpion will stay behind to play with you guys. We will meet again."

He signaled to the mercenaries. Immediately after, someone appeared in a speedboat.

Those on the mission knew they couldn't allow Kawang to leave because the moment he reached Country T and was caught, he would be out of China's jurisdiction. However, the attacks on the ground were fierce and the military aircraft couldn't attack because of the mines buried in the area. The moment they approached, their wings would be attacked. This affected their attack.

Qin Mo watched as Kawang left, the curve of his white coat similar to the one in his memory; a memory deeply etched.

Wolf watched as his boss walked closer. With a turn, he immediately found a way to take cover.

Qin Mo moved swiftly, his entire body radiating a frosty air. The moment a mercenary reached out to attack him, a bullet faster than the poker card shot through his brains. The poker card came from Qin Mo, this killing tactic akin to magic. Before anyone could notice, their skins would be cut.

At this moment, Kawang had prepared to board the boat. He glanced at the approaching figure but didn't instruct anyone to stop him. Instead, he allowed Qin Mo to follow behind him.

Behind, someone called out for Qin Mo. Kawang narrowed his eyes. "Get Scorpion to blow down that harvesting equipment, the person behind is annoying me."

Come, Qin Mo. Just a while more and you will be my most successful creation. I believe in due time, you will finally be willing to call me your teacher.

Kawang laughed, entering the boat.

The mercenary ashore had a firm figure as he held the earpiece and reported, "Wang wants you to settle the special force soldiers on land."

Scorpion laughed, adjusting the cannon. "Right this instant."

On the other side, Prince glanced over, noticing their intention. He reached out, trying to push Wolf, who was nearest to him.

Scorpion broke into a more sinister smile. "All of you, die!"

The moment his finger was about to pull the trigger, a violent shot pierced through the air. The bullet came with the wind, flying straight through Scorpion's temples; a headshot!

Chapter 1271

"F*ck, there's a sniper!" The mercenaries flew into a frenzy! Blood splashed everywhere and Scorpion wasn't even sure how he died when he fell backwards with his cannon. But that wasn't the end.

At the highest point of the flower field, a slender figure lay flat on the ground, a rifle on her shoulder. Her hair fell across her forehead, showing only her eyes. She was breathing slowly but each shot was fired at a startling rate. An accurate lockdown and a clean and sharp attack.

Bam!

Another shot was fired. As the mercenaries were caught off guard, the aircrafts in midway had found the opportunity to land!

Prince had been sure he was going to die. At that moment, he opened his eyes wide, glancing behind him in disbelief. "Someone is helping us? Is it one of ours that Kawang hasn't gotten rid of?"

"It's impossible." Psychiatrist had received the information that all the spies had been locked up by Kawang. But how could he explain the two gunshots?

Fatty had such a suspicion when the aircraft landed and when he had received the red dot. When he heard the two gunshots, he was certain there was someone else other than his boss! Who was he?

Forgive Fatty's low intelligence, he wasn't able to think too deeply into anything.

But undoubtedly, with the help of that hidden sniper, the tables were quickly reversed. Once the first aircraft could land, the others could as well.

The mercenaries changed their tactic. Once the military aircraft had the chance to land, the soldiers of the Republic of China wouldn't give them a chance to escape. The green aircrafts took over every inch of sky overhead.

Prince had successfully gotten hold of a rifle and moved like an imposing dragon, unleashing his perfect combat ability. He glanced up towards the field of flowers but the figure was gone. Where did he go? Prince was still wondering who had saved them.

On the other end, Kawang had noticed the change in the situation. His eyes dimmed and his fists were clenched tight, completely unlike before. He roared, "Start the boat."

"Yes." The man mending the speedboat pulled and started off.

The three mercenaries at the head of the boat pushed.

As the speed boat was gliding across the water, Kawang loosened his grip. But before he could smile, two poker cards flew through the air, killing two mercenaries.

It was Qin Mo. At this moment, he had taken off his disguise. He wore a black trench coat and looked very much like the devil incarnate, especially with the fire blazing behind him and the poker cards in his palms. He seemed to possess a danger enough to destroy both Heaven and Earth. The burly mercenaries stepped back unconsciously.

In the moment the speedboat sped up, Qin Mo stepped onto a corpse, landing onto the boat.

Kawang stood in the cabin and turned to look at him, his smile deepening. "Is it very painful? Qin Mo, you are my student. I won't lose to you in a psychological study so stop struggling. Look at this lake, isn't it like the one you saw the last time? Speaking of which, you failed to protect the one you love every single time because of your responsibilities. Do you still remember our course? Humans are selfish. If you are not selfish, you won't be able to protect the people you want to protect because in this world, there will be some people who will not do things in accordance with their morals. Do you know how I discovered the identity of your little lover? She was probably influenced by you and had wanted to save one of my followers. Unfortunately, my follower only cared about receiving attention. Choosing her hadn't been an easy choice. Doesn't Chinese emphasize on judging someone through the fine details? She sided with the plagiarist, unconcerned about the original author and even posted a long post to prove how smart she was. That was when I locked her in as a follower. Sure enough, such a person will do whatever it took as long as she was given the opportunity to stand in front of everyone and that included betraying the person who wanted to protect her, assuming she was bullied. And that person is the one who had smuggled herself into the school to deal with me. It's a pity, there are certain areas I admired about her, for instance, her face when she was struggling to stay alive..."

It was the next step of his hypnosis.

The unaffected Qin Mo would eradicate the thought at the first instant. But now, Qin Mo wasn't in the right state of mind.

In reality, the moment he had seen the youngster reach for the cup, his psychological defense had begun to disintegrate. But back then, he still had a faith he could hold on to. It was to complete the mission.

Kawang would probably never understand what faith meant to a soldier of the Republic of China and especially to someone like Qin Mo.

What did faith mean? It meant that even if the hypnosis had been activated, he wouldn't give up.

Kawang could tell the change in Qin Mo's emotions as his hands were clenched tightly.

Kawang grew increasingly excited.

As the boat was a distance away from the island, he believed no one would be able to catch them. Likewise, he also believed Qin Mo wouldn't take action against him. As long as he continued leading this already lost soul, this sharp weapon would be his! Kawang had waited a long time for this moment.

He couldn't control his excitement at the thought of controlling Qin Mo. His emotions were obvious even though he tried to control his emotions, trying to slow his speech in order to better lead the hypnosis. "Think about it, are those people really worth saving? They made you lose your most precious person. Qin Mo, you can change the way you are living, you have always been blessed by the Heavens, why would you choose such a difficult path? If you have given up on the useless persistence, the person you love would never have left you. I know you are looking for revenge against those that made you lose her. Each and every one of them is garbage and there isn't anything wrong with disposing of garbage. They deserve to be killed, don't they?"

Chapter 1272

His deep voice was like the lake water, drowning out his thoughts. His talking speed and the pitch he used helped to push the contents deeper into his brain.

Kawang was directing the hypnosis at him. He watched as the straight figure moved and pressed a hand onto his forehead...

On the other end, after using up two rifles worth of bullets, Bo Jiu leaped up from the flower field because she realized Qin Mo had boarded the speedboat. The only way to catch up to him was her hidden Lamborghini 600 meter away. Although she would be discovered, she was already noticed when she passed them.

When Prince saw the familiar figure, he couldn't help stiffening, "Little Black Fellow! It really is Little Black Fellow!" When he saw her clothes, the long rifle, and her previous position, his eyes widened with shock! "It's Little Black Fellow, he has been helping us!"

Most of her disguise had probably worn off when she had leaned on the ground. Her indifferent and cold face was a pleasant surprise at this moment. They were completely caught off guard that Bo Jiu had been the one helping them all this while!

Fatty seemed to be the most shocked out of everyone but he still called out, "Big Spade!" That explained why he could receive the red dot location. It was because the youngster was here! She was actually here!

Fatty could barely explain his emotions because there wouldn't be anyone else who would enter a lion's den to save his boss and there wouldn't be anyone else who could turn the tables all by herself. It reminded him of the days in Supreme Alliance. He had watched her shoulder all the responsibility, overcoming all the adversities. But...

Such a person might never be able to appear on the esports arena again. Even so, she had appeared here even though she could have gone her own way.

Be it her or his boss, they had choses to come to such a dangerous place because there were people they wanted to save.

Fatty wasn't afraid of anything but he was afraid that they were too late.

Psychiatrist had the same fear. Hence, the moment he saw her face, his first reaction was to shout towards the lake. "Boss, your most important person is still alive!"

But it was useless, the speedboat was too far away. What was left was a vague figure in the distance. No one was sure what was happening onboard.

With a swoosh, Bo Jiu pulled the banana leaves from the Lamborghini. "Verbal password, unlock."

The doors open with a thud and the navigation system starting up. Little Blackie had wanted to tease its master but she commanded, "Underwater mode, immediately."

"Underwater mode activated," the navigation system announced. "There isn't sufficient petrol, Master take note, we might not be able to come back."

Bo Jiu wore a pair of googles. "Ignore it."

"Yes." Little Blackie knew in that instant that its Master had lost her cool. Otherwise, she wouldn't have just started off without considering the petrol level.

That wasn't all. When she gripped onto the steering wheel and entered the water, the expression that seeped out was unlike her, filled with heartache and pain. Little Blackie could hear a rare impatience in her voice. "Brother Mo, wait a little more, I'll be there soon, very soon."

Little Blackie didn't understand human emotions but it could see that when someone was deeply in love, their greatest fear was to lose their loved ones.

On the speedboat above the lake, Kawang took another step forward, his gaze resting on Qin Mo's soulless gaze. "I have a remote control here. As long as you press this red button, you can wipe out some of the people who killed her. As for the rest, you can find them slowly."

At this moment, Qin Mo seemed to be possessed, watching the bright red color blankly.

"Come on, you are most qualified to make this judgement." Kawang was still as graceful as before since the critical moment was approaching. The moment he pressed the button, the wooden hut not far from them would explode because of the countless numbers of bombs buried underground all going off.

Those soldiers who had undermined his plan and some people who refused to be captured by him would be buried with his sea of flowers. More importantly, Qin Mo would be the one who would be doing it. That alone would signify is victory.

Yes, that had been his plan from the start. He didn't care about those underlings. Even though it might be difficult to find another batch of acceptable underlings, to have Qin Mo in exchange was enough.

Kawang's smile deepened when Qin Mo reached out as though he had been summoned...

Just as Kawang thought he was going to press the control, a loud swoosh was heard and he tossed the remote control into the water.

Qin Mo stood at the original spot, the lake breeze blowing his black trench coat, making him look like a vampire that was about to attack. There was an indescribable sinister smile lurking in the corner of his lips. It seemed to be mocking the world, a bloodthirsty lightness. Kawang's face changed instantly!

After looking at Qin Mo like this, he suddenly remembered a psychology article he had read. Most people who were hypnotized would naturally surrender to the hypnotist. But there was still an extremely small percentage of people who, once their conviction reached a certain level, wouldn't surrender and would instead...

Kawang didn't wish to continue down that thought, pointing his gun at Qin Mo. Since he wouldn't surrender, he would have to be disposed of!

Qin Mo wouldn't give him the chance though. In a flash, the poker card flew out from his fingers, more deadly than before.

When the poker card glid through his palms, Kawang missed his shot, the bullet hitting the mercenary that had tried to stop Qin Mo.

Kawang's eyes widened. He knew how skilled Qin Mo was but could never tell his bottom line. But this time, he witnessed it. Similarly, he met the real hell.

At this moment, Qin Mo clearly had no worries. And because of his lack of worries, there was only one thought in his heart: Kill. Kill. All of them would be killed, especially him.

Many people had said that Young Master Qin's hands were extremely alluring when they were playing esports and must be much more beautiful when he played the piano. But they weren't aware that his hands, porcelain white and jade cold, were startling when they killed with poker cards.

As a prey, Kawang had never felt his heart race faster than this moment. In this instant, there was panic in his eyes. Even his usual grace was no longer on his face. He pressed his arm, struggling to pick up the rifle.

Qin Mo walked in front of him, his eyes as deep as when they had first met. But this time, the wavering light from within was darker. "You claim to be right and that they deserve to die. But the one that deserves to die the most is you, Professor." Qin Mo smiled casually. When he laughed, there were blood stains within his eyes.

It was more beautiful than anything Kawang had seen. "You seem to want to control me. Professor, didn't the literature you read tell you about plans backfiring?" Qin Mo's poker card pressed against Kawang's neck.

"I do have some regrets," Kawang said. Just then, a blade appeared in his palms and before Qin Mo could react, Kawang stabbed him!

Qin Mo dodged, his leg legs kicking him and pushing him onto the ground. Kawang's eyes wavered because he realized that he was at his end. In the past, Qin Mo wouldn't have acted in such a manner. But...

Kawang laughed deeply, a darkness seeping from his eyes. "Qin Mo, you have turned into another me, do you think you can learn unharmed? Even if I die, you lost."

"You are just like before, when you were a professor, filled with bullshit." Qin Mo picked him up with a smile. His eyes had begun to overflow with redness. "Since you like the water so much, I'll follow your way and tie a heavy item on your legs. Don't worry, I won't knock you out, drowning should be admired slowly."

There was an obvious fear on Kawang's face, he would rather Qin Mo just shoot him. He hadn't expected him to be using such a matter.

Conscious but unable to save himself. Did Qin Mo want him to taste all the sufferings from that person? Kawang wanted to retaliate but it was already over the moment he lost in the psychological battle as there wasn't any other area in which he was better than Qin Mo.

In two seconds, Kawang noticed that his wrist had been cut. Anyone with basic knowledge knew what would happen when a cut on the wrist was thrown into the water. The harder he struggled, the faster he would bleed. Moreover, there was a heavy object tied to his legs. Then a mellow drop was heard.

There was no way he could reach the water surface, unless he coiled his body and removed the heavy object. But just as he had said previously, the more he moved his arms, the faster he would bleed. Moreover, the blood loss was draining his energy and resolve.

Senior psychologists had actually learned to untie knots but this time, Kawang couldn't do it. At the start, he struggled but when his breath could no longer keep up, blood had started to spread across the lake. Gradually, his fingers stopped and his body started to sink.

The speedboat had stopped moving. Qin Mo stood at the edge with a massive headache that forced him into a seated position. Fresh blood stained his eyes.

Have you heard this story? In the bible, there was an archangel in charge of the God Realm, Michael. He was as noble as ice and snow and had the most beautiful appearance. He was the glory of the whole God Realm.

But no one knew that the archangel had lost all his feelings while maintaining order in the human world. He continually sliced his flesh and used his blood to save lives but was met with backlash. That was when he knew that this was how humans were because he had met all the darkness in the world. No matter what the situation was, even if he passed to the other side while guiding, his holy robe would not be stained.

This was until he met a man. It was the most deviant fallen angel, the young Lucifer. Only then did Michael's feelings return. At the beginning it was impatience. Gradually, he wanted to see him since it was Lucifer that had provoked him first. At that time, Lucifer's demon consciousness had not been opened. He laid in his arms like a well-behaved little devil. Michael thought that the two of them would be together for a long time.

It wasn't until the God Realm received a letter from the human world that it launched into a war of the largest scale. His most beloved Lucifer walked out from the ashes, completely disfigured from the flames. From then on, when Michael waved the sword in his hand, there was only a frosty coldness. From a high position, he killed mindlessly.

Now, Qin Mo was just like Michael. Beneath the golden rays, he leaned against the boat, completely unconcerned about his bleeding hand.

The setting sun cast a red glow in his eyes. Graceful, mysterious, and noble were words that could be used to describe him. But anyone who saw him at this moment knew that this wasn't the Qin Mo they knew.

Qin Mo glanced over as if he was admiring the impending darkness. Such a Qin Mo made the reinforcements hesitate.

Right at this moment, a strong wave rolled over and a black bat flew out from beneath the lake! A figure leaped onto the blood-soaked speedboat.

From afar, the others could see the youngster remove her goggles, her hair still dripping with water. The originally seated Major General Qin reached out and grabbed her neck. At that moment, everyone held their breath.

Young Master Tang was nearest to them and had noticed a problem. "Qin Mo's hypnosis is complete."

The highest directive was for Qin Mo to be brought back for further assessment when he reached an uncontrolled state. What should they do next? Right now, none of them dared to approach him because he was too dangerous.

Qin Mo watched as the youngster came nearer, a malicious and sinister smile spreading across his face. "A prey seeking death?"

Bo Jiu could barely breathe as she looked into the foreign pair of eyes. Her heart was so painful it seemed to be ripped apart but she continued to smile. She seemed to have difficulty speaking. "Brother Mo, I can forgive you for forgetting the young me but how could you have forgotten the adult me as well?"

"Brother Mo?" Qin Mo leaned in nearer to her face. "How could I possibly have such a short younger brother? Don't you even know how to lie?"

In reality, Qin Mo didn't understand why he would release his grip unconsciously whenever she was in pain. It was as if he was possessed. Forget it, she wouldn't be able to do anything to him. If she did, he could slash her throat with the poker cards at any time.

But what he hadn't expected was that the moment he pushed her away, the youngster hugged him. In a voice deep and slightly raspy, she said, "Brother Mo, this time, I'll bring you home."

Chapter 1273

Bring me home?

Qin Mo swept a glance at the person hugging him. He reached out and lifted her chin. This person was really interesting. Didn't he see his blood-stained palms? Or did he not see the dead man at the side?

There was blood everywhere and he was the one who had killed them. None of the speedboats on the lake dared to approach him but this fearless youngster leaned forward. What was he trying to do?

Qin Mo studied his face, before replying, "The people behind you don't have any intention of letting me home."

Bo Jiu immediately took a clear stand. "We aren't on the same side, I'm one of the bad guys."

There wasn't any emotion on Qin Mo's face, especially right now when his lips were turned upwards, the poker card never once leaving his fingers. It was obvious he didn't trust Bo Jiu. "You called me brother. Are you my younger brother?"

"No."

He had originally thought the youngster would admit it since that would lower his guard. Qin Mo hadn't expected her to deny it, his brows arched upwards.

The youngster stood up, her pale lights touching his.

Qin Mo stiffened. He could feel the youngster's breath and the cooling tenderness. There was a faint fruity taste that entered his senses. The warmth stopped him from pushing the youngster away.

Then he heard the youngster's voice. "I'm your sugar daddy and we are lovers."

Qin Mo stiffened again. His gaze landed on the youngster's lifted lips and pressed her head downwards, with a slightly lowered body, his breath blew into the youngster's ear. "You mean I not only fell for a boy but was even taken care of by him?"

"Brother Mo." Bo Jiu chuckled. She didn't deny his claims and instead reached out for his hands, moving it to her chest.

The soft tough made his fingers pause, his brows furrowed. A girl? With no shame?

She behaved like a little ruffian, completely unaware of her shamelessness as she leaned forward. "Your favorite feeling."

Interesting. Qin Mo was intrigued. He arched a brow slowly. "Indeed, I don't like it too big but other than being small, you don't seem to have any other merits."

Bo Jiu: ... The dark Almighty didn't seem to have forgotten his sharp tongue.

"But product inspection depends on my personal preferences." Qin Mo reached out and pulled her into his arms. With his black trench coat as cover, his hands entered her clothes and touched the irresistible curve of her waist. It was smooth, porcelain white and delicate, just like a top-grade jade."

The instant they touched, Qin Mo fell in love with the touch. His gaze deepened, hating the impact she had on him. He reached out and pushed her a safe distance away.

"What is it?" Bo Jiu started to blush, the feeling sending her ears ablaze.

Qin Mo smiled, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "Since you are my sugar daddy, shouldn't you be the one diverting the speedboats around us?"

Bo Jiu noticed his guard against the military and the menacing air that was seeping out of his eyes. It was an entirely different emotion. But even so, he was still him.

"What is it?" Qin Mo pushed a lock of hair behind the youngster's ear and smiled warmly. "You are not willing? Aren't we lovers? You wouldn't even do something of this level for me?"

Bo Jiu looked at him, her eyes clear and bright, showing a hint of her intelligence. "If that's what you want, I will."

She glanced over towards the speedboats but had no intention of giving out orders.

Before Bo Jiu could say anything, a voice came over. "Qin Mo has to go with us, someone will settle the rest."

It was a rejection. Since the situation was as such.

"Young Master Tang, you should know I won't be handing him to the military."

Bo Jiu knew that even if he followed them back, the Almighty would be given the best treatment. But what about psychologically? Or perhaps, the result would be the same as before.

Qin Mo was no longer suitable for his rank. For the sake of everyone's safety, they would send him back to Jiang City. He had done so much and had sacrificed his favorite esports, trapping himself back to such a state. In the end, this was how he was treated. Just because he could no longer be the past Qin Mo.

The military wasn't wrong, he was too dangerous right now. While Kawang could hypnotize someone in a short amount of time, the Almighty had the ability to manipulate one's heart. Anti-reconnaissance, combat effectiveness, long-range sniping, and even the most natural reactions were familiar with the military battle style. Once he joined the dark side, the military was bound to be afraid of him.

Bo Jiu could only trust herself. She was afraid; afraid they would see him as a second Kawang, the psychological freak, keeping him captive.

That wasn't her pet. Her pet had always been a little prince – arrogant, indifferent, and righteous. He was most suited to be an Almighty. He should always be clean and untouched. How could she allow them to treat him like a virus, placed in quarantine – even if he was given the best facilities.

"I'm taking him away." Bo Jiu smiled. "If we can't settle this peacefully, I have my ways and I believe Young Master Tang doesn't wish to be an enemy."

The man replied calmly, "Z, have you thought about the consequences of taking him away? The military would be after you but that isn't important. Are you sure he doesn't have other plans? He is extremely dangerous right now and you should know that. He might end up controlling you, making you do things his way."

Qin Mo chuckled. He hadn't expected the man to be this smart. It seemed like his plan wasn't going to work out...

"I'll take full responsibility. I told you, this time, I'm bringing him home."

Qin Mo felt a shock run through him, turning to look at the youngster warmly. There were other thoughts in his bottomless eyes. She already knew about his plans. Ah, this was the reason she said, "If that's what you want, I will."

She had detected his bad intentions but yet, she had agreed to his request. Was she an idiot?

Chapter 1274: Sugar Daddy

Bo Jiu didn't notice the change in his eyes. Even Qin Mo himself hadn't noticed the hint of interest and tenderness in his deep eyes.

The golden sun rays spilled into his gaze. It was just like the rippled lake, deep and unfathomable.

There was someone other than Young Master Tang in charge and his stand was firm. "Qin Mo has to go with us."

While Young Master Tang remained silent, Bo Jiu laughed. Her hair was ruffled. "I guess things are going to look ugly."

"Who are you? How dare you speak to me like that!"

Young Master Tang glanced back and laughed. He took a step back as though giving him the chance to step in since he volunteered but Bo Jiu saw through his actions. As long as he didn't stop her, she still stood a chance.

The commander behind Young Master Tang had no idea who he was dealing with. He was about to warn her again when the youngster shouted, "Little Blackie."

Swoosh! Droplets flew everywhere, not giving anyone a chance to see what had happened.

Qin Mo arched his brow because the youngster didn't give him any chance to react either. She reached for his wrist with one hand and with the other, she swiped open the silver electric lighter. With a smile on her face, she tossed it at the speedboat's fuel tank! The next moment, she pulled him towards the other end and a thundering explosion pierced through the air!

The stern of the speedboats ignited and the flames scattered all over the sky. In that instant, the surrounding speedboats couldn't come close. It was a mesmerizing sight; a red tinge blending into the sunset. Her beautiful escape was as expected of Z.

If he was by her side, Qin Mo might be able to suppress his need to kill. Young Master Tang pushed his spectacles up his nose and turned towards the confused commander, his voice indifferent. "I guess we won't be leaving with Qin Mo."

"Is that youngster crazy?!" The commander grabbed a wad of hair. "He actually used such a tactic to escape. How can you stay so calm when we have to explain to our bosses!"

Young Master Tang laughed. "I don't care about explaining. We did the saving and Kawang didn't end up in someone else's hands. As for anything else, I have to depend on Commander to do the report."

The commanding officer stiffened. "Wait a minute, why am I the one writing the report?"

"This question," Young Master Tang reached out and patted his shoulder, "Commander can think about it."

The commander grew increasingly frustrated. "That youngster is to blame. Doesn't he know how dangerous Qin Mo is right now?"

"It's a pity. If it hadn't been for that youngster, we wouldn't have gotten the location of this island." Young Master Tang turned around. Although his gaze was emotionless, the coldness was obvious.

The commander opened his mouth but didn't say anything more. Firstly, because of his gaze and secondly, because he hadn't known the youngster to be the crucial factor behind defeating Kawang.

The flames on the lake blended into the fiery sunset.

The water had always been Bo Jiu's greatest enemy. She couldn't swim well and had difficulties breathing. Thus, before she reached the Lamborghini, her hands started to weaken. But before she started to fall downwards, someone held onto her left hand, pulling her upwards.

The next moment, cooling lips and a tobacco and herb smell entered her senses. Bo Jiu's pupils wavered when she realized what he was doing.

When Qin Mo released her hands, Little Blackie activated its underwater mod. You could hear the sigh in its voice. "Master, that was a close call, I thought you were going to die. I couldn't feel any warmth from your body."

Bo Jiu panted, her body tilting over towards the soaked Qin Mo. His lips were wet but it didn't affect his heavenly good looks. Moreover, there was an enigmatic smile playing at his lips. Bo Jiu caressed her nose. He could have prolonged the CPR, she wouldn't have minded.

He seemed to have seen through her thoughts, his handsome face approaching with a devilish smile. "You seemed to relinquish the moment before."

Before Bo Jiu could reply, Little Blackie detected the voice and exclaimed, "The devil!"

"Devil?" Qin Mo arched his brows towards the rear mirror. "Are you referring to me?"

Little Blackie trembled. This devil wasn't even suppressing his inner nature in front of Master.Terrifying, terrifying! Little Blackie refused to reply, switching off its voice system!

"A transformable car that can talk." Qin Mo laughed, his hands touching Bo Jiu's face. "Seems like my sugar daddy has a formidable background."

Bo Jiu glanced over towards his fingers. There were many small cuts covering his hands, probably because he had used poker cards to kill. She knew he still had half the deck, which also meant he didn't trust her. But that wasn't important.

Bo Jiu pulled open the concealed storage box in the middle of the car. Inside were all the medical supplies she had gotten from the Mongolian doctor but only the band aid seemed useful.

Bo Jiu used her teeth to rip open a packet and pulled Qin Mo's arm over. She glanced down and pasted the band aid over his wounds carefully as though she was dealing with a precious treasure. "Your hand is very important to you. It cannot be hurt." Bo Jiu tore open another band aid. From the looks of it, she seemed determined to paste one on every cut he had.

From the beginning to the end, Qin Mo didn't move an inch. He just watched the top of her head and the other hand that was about to be lifted, sank down slowly.

Qin Mo told himself that he hadn't killed her because there wasn't a need. Besides, there weren't many idiots like her around. He was curious about the extent the youngster would go for him.

Lovers? Qin Mo laughed but the warmth didn't enter his eyes. Love wasn't of use to him.

"So, my Sugar Daddy, where are you going to bring me now?" Qin Mo didn't believe he was taken care of like a mistress. With such abilities to lie, he was starting to wonder how she could live until this age.

Bo Jiu paused, smiling. "Jiang City."

That was right, they would have to return because the Asian Cup was still waiting for him. Besides, being in a familiar environment would help bring his memory back.

It didn't matter where he went but he wasn't sure if he would lose interest in the youngster mid journey and end up tossing her away. But one thing was for certain: He was interested in her.

"Alright, I'll listen to you, let's go to Jiang City." Qin Mo lifted her hands, pressing it onto his lips. It was a light kiss, without any warmth. Instead, there was a chilliness from the water.

The Qin Mo now...

Chapter 1275

None of the members in the operations team could accept that their boss had disappeared.

The flames were gone with remnants of the speed boat left floating on the surface of the water. No one knew where Bo Jiu or Qin Mo had gone as there had only been flames during their disappearance.

The commander sent troops in search of them but nothing could be found. They seemed to have disappeared into thin air.

On the plane, the commander told Wolf and the others. "Qin Mo is extremely dangerous right now and for the sake of the bigger picture, he will no longer be the major general of the team and will no longer be participating in any operation. The moment he contacts the team, remember not to divulge any confidential information and to inform the senior management."

Prince sat in a daze. How had things ended up in such a state? If it hadn't been for their boss, they wouldn't have completed the mission. But now, he was fired. He wasn't just fired but even treated as a wanted man.

"Why?" For the first time as a soldier, Prince didn't agree.

The commander knew it would be difficult for them to accept but he remained rational as he explained the reasons. "He has received a very serious psychological suggestion and is no longer the same person as before. His behavior is very dangerous. If you receive news, he can be given special treatment to reinstate his mental state."

"He is the best psychologist in our country." Psychiatrist added, "General, who are you going to arrange to treat him?"

The commander paused. "If we can't get anyone locally, we can look abroad."

"I understand." Psychiatrist laughed, not a hint of warmth on his face.

The commander could sense their unwillingness to yield. Since they weren't his soldiers and had just made a great achievement, it wouldn't be appropriate for him to manage them. It would be better to leave them to Major General Qin.

In reality, the commander couldn't understand the situation as it shouldn't matter who they were placed under.

Psychiatrist, Hunter, Wolf, Magician, and Fatty had experienced it before though. And now, history was repeating itself. But back then, when their boss had woken up, he had just lost a portion of his memory. He hadn't been mentally stable but it wasn't like this time when he had turned into someone completely different.

"It's good that they left," Psychiatrist spoke after a moment of silence. "If Boss is with that person, he will be better than if he was sent to a rehabilitation center."

Someone like their boss, how could he be treated in a rehabilitation center? Being restrained and stripped off his dignity and arrogance. This was for the best.

Prince knew this was the most logical and reasonable decision from the military's point of view but even so, he couldn't control his emotions. He rubbed his head and buried his face in his hands as the negative emotions overwhelmed him. He finally understood why these people loved following the devil so much.

There had been many times they would have been exposed if it hadn't been for their boss. That person always remembered his mission and responsibility regardless of the circumstance. He had saved so many lives, without any recognition or acknowledgement. And he was the one who ended up being forsaken.

Prince was frustrated, rubbing his hair violently.

"I wouldn't tell anyone even if Boss contacts me," Fatty spoke, his voice increasing. "As long as he doesn't kill anyone, regardless of what he becomes, he will be our captain. He will always be our captain."

The commander frowned, turning over. He was prepared to warn them but the others were looking at him with a stubborn and persistent gaze. The commander didn't have a choice, reporting the matter to his boss.

The plane flew higher and higher. All the people they rescued were properly placed on the aircraft and the signal obstruction towers were destroyed. As for the flower fields, they were all burnt.

Kawang's influences disappeared and his body had sunk to the bottom of the lake. Many of the local farmers broke into joy when they heard the news. No one was willing to grow such things and no one wanted to see their children being raised into demons.

The gravity of the mission couldn't be explained. It was so significant that the drugs transaction along the Chinese borders reduced by 80% and within the next three years, no one would dare to commit such a crime along the borders.

They hadn't just saved lives, they had saved the dignity of the country. But at the end of the mission, there had been a tiny mishap. During the crossfire, Fan Jia hadn't appeared because she had been in the engine room and when she had seen the military aircraft in the sky, she had known they were faced with a major crisis. Hence, she hadn't appeared and had disguised as a local farmer, returning to the village. It was only after the aircrafts had left did the malice seep back into her eyes.

Once again, it was that person who had wrecked their plans!

Fan Jia hadn't expected that person to be Z. But now, everything was clear. She was indeed persistent. She was able to dig them out regardless of where they went. They were just one step away; just one step from turning Qin Mo into one of them.

Fan Jia knew the hypnosis was complete. If they could have dragged it another ten minutes, Qin Mo would have become their master's puppet. When the time came, they would have been together. In order to keep him, her master would have made her act as his girlfriend, just like before. But all of this was ruined because of that person!

None of it mattered though because just a day before, once her master had made his plans, he had told her the secret hypnosis word. All she had to do was locate them in order to bring Qin Mo back to their side. Once the hypnosis was activated, would Z act the same as before? In this world, Fan Jia was the one who knew what she wanted the most right now!

"Reporting, Sir!"

"Speak."

"Fan Jia has not been found."

Young Master Tang said in his jeep, still mid-action while arranging his sleeves, his eyes dimming. "Inform Z, let her know her imposter escaped."

"Yes."

The wind was strong and the sky darkened. They tried to send out a message but the signal went dead.

Fan Jia was out loose, which was an operational error. Even though she couldn't compare to Kawang, this was even more reason to guard against her. She was Kawang's student and would certainly know about psychology. Her skills may not be polished but sometimes, the tiny actions done secretly were harder to deal with.

Using fondness as an excuse to infringe other people's rights, those that hid behind the web or those without proper values, there were many of such kind. All of them could be used by Fan Jia. It was the reason the incident had blown up in Jiang City.

It would be troublesome if they couldn't contact Z.

Looking at the scene just now, it had been a crafty escape plan. Indeed, but Bo Jiu still met with some troubles.

"Even though your intimacy is a beautiful sight, I have to interrupt because we are currently left with five percent of fuel." Little Blackie was sure a poor car. The moment it said that, the devil turned over to look at it. His gaze seemed to express his redundancy.

Little Blackie trembled its rear mirror. Didn't Master realize the devil's aura seemed stronger and more overwhelming than before? Especially that malicious aura.

After Bo Jiu was done attending to his wounds, she moved over to the driver's seat. The low fuel sign was flashing red and the smart system was unstable. She moved her fingers. "How long more can you go on?"

"Twenty minutes, twenty minutes and I will become a pile of useless metal." Little Blackie didn't see any hope in life anymore. It was afraid to be the first sports car to drown. Twenty minutes wasn't enough time to reach the location. Since they couldn't leave, they could only find a place nearby to rest. Bo Jiu thought for a moment and changed to manual operations, coming ashore.

"Prepare for mode change."

"Land mode activated."

Swoosh!

The water was destructed and the black Lamborghini came out of slumber while water droplets trickled down the window. But Bo Jiu didn't stop.

Although most of the region was uninhabited, if she remembered correctly, there was a turnaround station not far away. It had formerly been a military camp but had long been abandoned. She could get some oil there.

"Activate the navigation system." Bo Jiu swerved the car, her actions handsome and cool. The car was fast but stable and inside was a warm and comfortable temperature.

Qin Mo sat in the back seat – his thoughts unfathomable. HIs eyes started to dim with the night sky. His clothes were still wet but his lips were hot.

Qin Mo frowned, probably aware of his body condition. Ever since the beginning, his body temperature had been on the high side. But they had been in the water and he couldn't show signs of weakness. She might be an idiot but who could be sure of what she was thinking?

Qin Mo shut his eyes to take a rest. But the person behind the steering wheel stopped the car, reached her hand over to his forehead.

"It wasn't my hallucination. After all, you are having a fever."

The cooling touch from her hand soothed his burning skin but he wasn't willing to admit it. Hence, he laughed. "It's just a slightly raised temperature."

Bo Jiu looked into his eyes while she leaned over and ripped off his clothes.

Qin Mo arched a brow. "I never expected my sugar daddy to be this proactive."

Bo Jiu didn't reply. Once she had stripped him down, she tossed it outside since there wasn't anyone around. Without his clothes, Qin Mo seemed more devilish and evil than before.

"Do you need my cooperation?" Qin Mo held onto her hand.

Bo Jiu glanced down. "Not really, I just needed to remove your clothes and they're already off."

"A pity, I thought you had other intentions." Qin Mo noticed her slightly dampened spirits and couldn't help the heaviness in his chest. It must be the fever that was affecting his mood. Just as the thought struck him, the youngster reached over and planted a kiss on the corners of his eyes.

She chuckled. "Once you are better, I'll have other intentions."

Qin Mo stiffened. She was indeed an idiot. His fingers wrapped around her waist and he buried his face into her long and slender neck, his voice faint. "I have a headache and need Sugar Daddy's help."

"Alright." Bo Jiu reached out and returned the hug.

In that instant, Qin Mo seemed to see a tail behind her shaking with two ears on her head. It made him want to laugh. Probably due to the pleasant smell on the youngster, Qin Mo's eyelids turned heavy and gradually, he sunk into pitch darkness. But even then, he didn't release the poker cards in his hand.

Bo Jiu watched the back seat and sped up. It was normal that he didn't trust her. No one would believe someone else after suffering from amnesia and especially someone like the Almighty wouldn't. But nothing was more important than having him by her side.

Bo Jiu glanced at the architecture outside the window. The building was hidden. If it wasn't for Little Blackie's unique navigation system, she wouldn't have found the place. With the current military's focus, even an abandoned location was considered dangerous.

External forces were the greatest threat in no man's land. Bo Jiu had to be careful. If she had been alone, she wouldn't have to act so cautiously but now she had the Almighty with her. She had to settle down in an area with the basic living necessities.

"Master, I can only persist a while longer." Little Blackie's voice had never been this weak. It was clearly at its end.

Bo Jiu patted the steering wheel and opened the car door, walking in the darkness. She didn't make any noise. In her palms were the poker cards she had taken from Qin Mo.

She couldn't act hastily because she was worried that someone had discovered them. It was a possible scenario as many syndicates would relocate to abandoned military camps. Fortunately, there wasn't anyone here. It was probably because of the cold temperature. After observing for five minutes, Bo Jiu was so cold she seemed to lose consciousness.

Once she made sure they were safe, Bo Jiu held onto a tree branch and leaped down from above. Since it used to be a military camp, there would definitely be petrol as there were many military vehicles abandoned there.

Bo Jiu slid down and inspected the fuel tank. She grabbed a bunch of things useful for storing fuel before trying to open the tank.

There weren't any other dangers other than the extreme cold. When Bo Jiu had gotten the petrol, her entire body had started to tremble. When she reached the Lamborghini, her lips had turned pale. Fortunately, there was heating in the car.

Once the tank was full, the smart system maxed out the heating. Bo Jiu could finally feel her fingers; they were slightly numb from the cold. She waved her hands in the air, trying to shake away the numbness.

As she wanted to test the Almighty's temperature once more, she reached out her arm. But retracted it again when she realized it was too cold. With her hands back on the steering wheel, she turned towards a small town 30 kilometers away.

Chapter 1276

Midway, Bo Jiu managed to connect to the internet. First, she used the navigation system to search for local news. Fortunately, since the mission was confidential, none of the news regarding the Almighty had been released, including the details of the mission. With a S level confidentiality, no one was sure what had happened.

But Bo Jiu knew that the Almighty's family background wasn't the same and his family would definitely receive news of his condition.

There were many with a misconception, assuming that Qin Mo would contact the operations team. They hadn't expected the first person to receive news of Qin Mo's condition to be Movie Queen An. Bo Jiu made the call.

It was snowing heavily overseas. Movie Queen An was walking to the airport when she received the call. Her assistant was afraid she would catch a cold, hurriedly placing a big woolen coat over her shoulders.

Today, Movie Queen An wasn't in her best condition and hadn't continued the filming. They also knew she had booked a ticket and was about to fly back to China because of family matters.

A flower that had lost its glow was the best description of her current state. Her assistant had never seen this young lady and wealthy mistress so upset that her eyes were red and swollen.

"Hello."

Judging from the voice itself, Bo Jiu could tell she had cried. She paused before replying, "Auntie, it's me, Jiu. Brother Mo is with me right now."

Movie Queen An suddenly stopped moving, joy seeping into her eyes. She couldn't hold her emotions any longer, covering her mouth with her hands. "That's good, that's good," she repeated. Her long black hair slipped across her cheeks like a satin, shielding her tears.

In the face of a senior, Bo Jiu was at a loss for words. "Don't worry, I will take care of Brother Mo."

"I know, Jiu, thank you." Movie Queen An sniffed, looking very much like a young lady. "I have always been assured to place that cold and emotionless boy with you but tell me the truth. His current condition... is it very bad?"

"A little." Bo Jiu thought for a moment before replying more firmly, "He lost his memory."

After Movie Queen An heard these words, she was a little shaky but she had somewhat expected such an outcome when her son had decided to take on the mission. She had been aware of the possibility of such a consequence. Because of that, she hadn't been willing to pick up Mr Qin's calls for the past few days since she knew the responsibilities of the Qin family.

But right now, all she felt was sorry for her son. When he had been young, her son had always been smarter than her. It was to the extent she hadn't thought that he had needed her companionship.

That seemed to be the Qin family's education system though. Her son had always been obedient and mature. His personality might be cold but he had spared no effort in protecting her.

When he had been five years old, he had participated in an event with her. During that event, someone had wanted to get her drunk and her husband hadn't been around. But the tiny figure had straightened in front of her like a little prince. "Sir, my mom doesn't drink. Besides, hasn't anyone taught you how to treat a lady?" He had spoken in English in an even tone, using his gaze to deal with him.

She hadn't spent much time with him and he had been sent to a bunch of lessons arranged by Mr Qin. Gradually, he had grown solemn and spoken less. When she had realized this and wanted to make amendments, it had already been too late.

Just like three years ago, when she had watched as he had difficulties sleeping after executing a mission. It had seemed as though a part of him had died with the mission. Until Jiu showed up...

Even though Movie Queen An wasn't in touch with the military matters, she knew the reason he had left back then. Because he wasn't mentally suited to be in the military.

She had heard all the contents of Mr Qin's call in the study. Her son had been hypnotized and would turn into another person when it was activated. He would turn into an extremely dangerous person, a wanted criminal that was hard to deal with. Hence, he hadn't been suited to stay in the military.

Back then, Movie Queen An had been heartbroken. She was a mother. What had happened to her son? He had risked his life to be repaid with such a consequence.

This time, when he had gone on the border mission, she had already predicted the outcome. She had been afraid no one would dare approach him again. Fortunately, Jiu was there.

Movie Queen An gripped onto the staircase and inhaled deeply, failing to suppress the sound. In the end, her breathing normalized. "Even though you are a boy, Jiu, please stay beside him because you are all he has." That was a mother's most sincere plea.

But... Bo Jiu stiffened. She had assumed Movie Queen An had found out about her real identity.

Perhaps it was because she had been out filming. She had seen Movie Queen An during her filming. She was someone who wouldn't pick up anyone's call and would take only one trip to the An family house, mainly to take her clothes.

Besides, it would take time for the news to travel overseas and she wasn't exactly a big shot.

After thinking through the news, she took on a slightly guilty tone. "Actually, there has been something I have been meaning to tell you."

"You don't have to say anything, Auntie understands." Movie Queen An smiled, wiping her tears. "Auntie has always been aware about your mutual love for each other. I have discussed with Sister He, once you enter university, the both of you can register your marriage in Switzerland. As for children, you can always engage a surrogate. If you don't wish to do that, it's fine. You can adopt but now that Mo has lost his memories..." Movie Queen An's emotions started to dampen.

Bo Jiu arched a brow. "You discussed with my mom? She agreed to it?"

"Initially, Sister He wasn't agreeable," Movie Queen An said like a child, growing excited. "Thereafter, I recommended many related movies and novels for her to read and even introduced her to a few established and successful people from your circle. She gradually came to accept it. In all honesty, I couldn't accept it at first. It wasn't because you aren't good enough but the road would be tough. But after thinking it through, it really isn't that bad. There are many outstanding people like you guys overseas. Even though my indifferent son looks like he doesn't know how to care for others, auntie knows you are the only one that can make him smile. No one else can have that effect on him. You don't have to worry about the repercussions, Mo won't be going into politics and I don't intend for him to stay in the Qin family. He can just take my family name. You don't have to care about his father at all. If he dares to oppose, I will prepare to divorce him!"

Assistant Deputy Zhang replied silently, "General would never agree to it."

"I don't care if he agrees or not." Movie Queen An was still elegant and beautiful even when she was angry.

Bo Jiu knew she was being spiteful but she couldn't cause the Almighty's parents to really divorce. "Auntie, listen to me." Bo Jiu coughed twice. "When I was younger, in order to fight for better living conditions and to prevent me from being bullied by the mistress, my mom brought me up as a boy. I may dress and behave like a boy but actually, I am biologically a girl."

Movie Queen An stiffened and her eyes widened in disbelief. "Gir-girl?"

Bo Jiu repeated bashfully, "Yes."

"Th-that..." Movie Queen An couldn't seem to find her thoughts. "My son..."

Bo Jiu coughed. "Brother Mo knew about this a long time ago."

"You mean he knew about it?" Movie Queen An eyes widened further. "He hasn't said anything to me and even hinted that your relationship would be tough and for me to settle it soon in case you leave with a girlfriend. That was the reason I went to seek out Sister He. That boy, that boy is too much." Even though he was her biological son, she was at a loss for words. Only Bo Jiu could turn her son into such a childish boy who used such a method.

"This can't do, I originally planned for the both of you to wear suits during the wedding and even sent the sizes down. I have to change it into a wedding dress now. I'll contact Robert in a moment. Jiu, do you have any preference for the style of the wedding dress? Do you prefer Chinese or Western?"

Bo Jiu hadn't expected such a change in direction but she had never been shy. "I'm fine with anything. Once I bring Brother Mo back and the Asian Cup is over, we will get married."

Movie Queen smiled, moved by her words. "Alright." She knew, there wasn't anyone else who would be willing to marry a dangerous person who had lost his memory. Only Jiu would do that. Perhaps, she finally understood the reason for his persistence in being with Jiu.

To be loved by such a person, anyone would yield. And he wouldn't be able to accept anyone else.

But the fact that Jiu was a girl made Movie Queen An overjoyed. Her excitement was obvious from her expression. She decided not to return back to China and immediately contacted a designer.

Assistant Deputy Zhang was still thinking about how to report to his boss.

On the other end, in the MT region, it wasn't easy to find an inn they could live in. Fortunately, Bo Jiu was lucky as could speak the native language. But the living conditions weren't the best. There were definitely no doubles, the hot water wasn't hot enough, and the bed was narrow, barely enough for two. There was nothing else in the room other than a wooden chair.

Qin Mo woke up and turned over, his arms resting on a certain someone's shoulder.

She was still speaking, "You probably never lived in a house like this but it's good that the bed is small, we can cuddle to sleep."

Her intentions were obvious, she was really treating herself as a sugar daddy. Was there such a sugar daddy in this world? Even Qin Mo himself hadn't noticed the smile on his face. He shut his eyes. His body was still cold.

After the short nap in the car, his energy seemed to be returning. Bo Jiu watched the man on the chair and prepared a cup of hot water. Using a cotton bud, she wet his lips.

Qin Mo knew what she was doing but hadn't expected her to take it that far. After wetting his lips three times, she grumbled, "This is too troublesome. Since we have kissed so many times..."

Before he could react, her lips pressed onto his. She had the same pleasant smell, the water from her lips sweeter than before. Qin Mo frowned but didn't push her away even though her motives were obvious.

"Would one bite be too little?" Bo Jiu lowered her back, her face serious. In the end, she decided to just go for it. Just like that, Qin Mo was kissed three times. On the fourth time, Bo Jiu realized an issue and decided to remove the Almighty's pants so that she could climb up the bed.

But the moment she touched his belt, his eyes flew open. His gaze was deep and his voice was slightly raspy. "What are you going to do to me? Mmh?"

Before she could reply, Qin Mo turned his arm, pressing her onto the ground half naked. His hot breath splashed onto her face. "Your clothes are wetter than mine, do you need my help to remove it?"

Qin Mo's left hand had entered her shirt, onto the skin that comforted him. He smiled. "You can take the chance to fill me in on the dynamics of our relationship."

Her body started to heat up, not knowing if it was from his heated breath or because of his actions. And finally, there was color on her lips. As it was a good chance, Bo Jiu smiled. "You listened to me well last time."

"Is that so?" Qin Mo didn't slow down, his brows raised.

Bo Jiu continued as though she was telling the truth, "You would always accede to my requests and love me a lot and even thought of many ways to confess to me."

"Oh?" Qin Mo paused, going through her words.

Bo Jiu reached out to hug his neck, a smile on her face. "Brother Mo, look at my face, you should be able to tell how many admirers I have, which is the reason you often feel threatened and jealous."

"Do you think I lost consciousness after the amnesia or do you think the fever affected my brain?" Qin Mo slowly raised her chin. "Would I do those?"

Bo Jiu wasn't the least bit worried about her lie being seen through. "Yes."

Qin Mo watched the impudent rascal. He suddenly placed her flushing ears between his lips, his voice devilish. "If it is as you said, I must be very proactive in bed."

Her skin started to burn wherever his hands touched. The Almighty was more irresistible in certain areas. He seemed to have bit down on her neck.

"So, my Sugar Daddy, how do you like to be serviced?" Qin Mo laughed and leaned forward to kiss the area he had bitten, danger seeping into his eyes.

Bo Jiu trembled, her back arching upwards and her body heating up.

Chapter 1277

Her head started spinning and her breath became hot.

Perhaps it was due to the hypnosis that the Almighty's more unscrupulous side exploded because even the way he kissed was different; it was evil and icy cold. Indeed, he couldn't be stopped.

The numbing sensation that spread through her neck drowned out all thoughts. There was a very slight pain in the itch. It felt like a vampire's embrace.

A book had once mentioned that When he kissed my neck, all other feelings seemed to disappear.

Left with an exquisite comfort that sunk her in.

She could smell him. He was so mesmerizing she started to sink deeper and deeper. She could never forget that view. Just like shooting stars, her entire body was yearning for his next moves.

Bo Jiu wrapped her arm around Qin Mo, her fair and slender neck stretched out like a pure and innocent young girl paying homage to the devil.

Qin Mo's eyes dimmed. His lips came close and he was about to take the next step when he noticed the unusual flush on her face.

Her body temperature was higher than his. And when had she hurt her hand?

It looked like iron wire scratches, with fresh blood stains on the wound. Did she get it while finding fuel for the car?

She was indeed an idiot. Even until this point, she had still driven the entire journey.

Qin Mo couldn't explain his emotions. His pupils constricted and something seeped out from his chest. It was stuffy but not entirely stuffy. It was very hot, as if it had passed through her body into his, especially when her breath was so close to his. The heart rate that couldn't lie.

He couldn't continue on with his next step. He had wanted to take advantage of her ruthlessly and take off since he didn't believe a word she had said. For instance, she was his sugar daddy.

Qin Mo's fingers glid past her face, his voice deep. "Get up."

"Mmh?" Bo Jiu's head was heavy and she couldn't hear his words clearly. Was he angry? He seemed to be smiling but there wasn't a hint of warmth.

Qin Mo looked at her for a second before leaning to carry her decisively. He entered the toilet and stripped off her clothes. Everything happened too fast for Bo Jiu to react.

Under the light, she was an alluringly fair. Her collarbones and shoulders were both the pride of a young girl. It was so mesmerizing he couldn't take his eyes away. Qin Mo's eyes dimmed and even his fingers froze. He seemed to be resisting. With a swoosh, he pulled a bath towel over, wrapping her entire body.

Bo Jiu laughed. "Brother Mo, what is it?"

Qin Mo glanced over to pinch her chin. "Do you know you have a fever?"

Bo Jiu paused. Her expression was slightly dazed. She hadn't noticed her raised body temperature and muttered, "That explains the dizziness."

Somehow, he could no longer maintain his indifference. He had intended to approach her in such a manner in order to achieve his goals but now... Qin Mo carried her and tossed her onto the wooden bed before lying over, his beautiful face inches away from hers. His legs curved slightly between her legs, his eyes dark and bottomless. "Are you an idiot?"

Chapter 1278: Another Way to Breathe

She was so caught up with him, she had completely neglected herself. Qin Mo didn't like her behavior and was even more against the way she was affecting his emotions.

Bo Jiu looked at him and seemed to have suddenly realized the reasons for his actions. She reached out and hugged his waist, her smile faint. "Brother Mo, you care about me!"

Qin Mo stilled. Since he couldn't turn, he smirked dismissively. "Heh." He pinched a strain of hair between his fingers. "Aren't you my sugar daddy? If I don't show concern, who's going to give me my pocket money?"

"You are rather familiar with your position." Bo Jiu coughed but the smile was bright on her face.

Qin Mo frowned. "What's wrong with your body?" A fever wouldn't be this bad.

"Asthma." Bo Jiu was indeed having difficulties breathing.

Qin Mo glanced at her, feeling an unfathomable heaviness in his chest. Regardless of his motives for being around her, he didn't like seeing his prey in such a horrid state. "You can't breathe?"

"A little." It wasn't anything serious. Bo Jiu still had some awareness of her own body.

Qin Mo held onto her waist and lifted her higher. "Shall we try a different way to breathe?"

"Wh..." Before she could reply, his face came forward for a kiss. The peppermint breath seemed to lower her body heat. The breath was so fresh it made her nostalgic.

Kissing was addictive and even more so the Almighty's kisses. She no longer had trouble breathing. If she relaxed, he would kiss her again, his hands on her ears; very lightly as if she were a pet. Her heart started to race as that was the most magical part.

When the kiss ended, he placed his forehead on hers, his breathing unstable, his gaze deep. "Sweet and refreshing."

What did he mean by sweet and refreshing?! The Almighty would never have said that.Bo Jiu felt a flush raise through her, the discomfort soothed by his kiss.

Just then, she realized she was naked with only a bath towel wrapped around her, the thin layer doing nothing to conceal her.

The Almighty's chest was inches away, his lines hard and defined, looking like a carving. When he stood up, the lines became more pronounced. He held onto her, his fingers caressing her tenderness, a devilish glint forming in his eyes. "Mmh, smooth."

The numbing sensation made her legs weaken. Bo Jiu never knew she would be so helpless during intimacy.

He held her in his arms, watching her. Her heart was racing, every inch of her numb and comfortable. This was because he wasn't anyone else but her pet.

"You always called me an idiot when we were kids."

Qin Mo arched his brow. "Oh?"

Bo Jiu continued, "Back then, I really wanted to buy you and even smashed the piggy bank I saved up for a very long time. I even asked your worth per kilogram."

Qin Mo smirked. "Idiot, how can a person be sold by their weight?"

Bo Jiu paused before she broke into a smile. In her memory, that exquisite little body had frowned and asked, "Little Bo Jiu, you are an idiot. How can a person be sold by his weight?" He was the same even after losing his memory.

"Seems like my sugar daddy isn't paying attention." Qin Mo reached over with a smile. "Am I not attractive enough?"

Chapter 1279: Almighty Qin Takes Care of Jiu

With that, Qin Mo planted a kiss on her neck. Every touch was cold and tickling. When his body temperature returned back to normal, his skin felt like a precious and smooth premium jade. His body was pressed against her body without anything in between but they didn't proceed to the next step. The darkness that emerged in his gaze made him look devilish. "Let's sweat in another way?"

Bo Jiu looked at him, her consciousness swaying, her lashes fluttering, and her breath burning.

Qin Mo hugged her and trailed his hands over her skin, forcing her body into a curve. It was just as he had said, for her to sweat. Hence, he didn't proceed to the next step. After she was hot and flushed, he would laugh deeply in her ears, savoring her lightly.

Gradually, she drifted off asleep. Bo Jiu tilted her head and shut her eyes.

Qin Mo watched the person in his arms, his gaze deepening. Forget it, he wasn't in a rush to leave. Besides, it didn't matter where he went. He could leave when he lost interest. "My Sugar Daddy, how long will you interest me?"

Qin Mo laughed. His fingers were caressing her dark-colored hair while a devilish smile was on his face. She wasn't without merits. At least she smelled nice and had a nice touch that was good for hugs, her entire body brimming with warmth. This was unlike the cold that emitted from his body.

Qin Mo arched his brow, resting his jaw on the crown of head as he held onto her and was watching her. She shouldn't be able to retaliate in such a state. But Qin Mo knew she wasn't originally like this.

Not everyone would dare to go against ten speedboats and explode a speedboat with a lighter – all of which she had done in such a handsome manner. It wasn't common for such a person to be so obedient.

Indeed, Bo Jiu was extremely docile. In fact, she was so quiet she resembled a little prince. Her dark hair fell down across her eyes and ears, exposing only the curve of her jaw.

Qin Mo watched for a while before reaching over to kiss her head. Just then, he suddenly stilled. Qin Mo frowned, his eyes turning cold. No one knew what went through his mind.

The unpolluted night sky was beautiful and filled with stars. This sight made it easy to fall asleep, especially with someone in his arms and thus didn't feel as cold.

Towards the later part of the night, however, her temperature started to surge so high it woke him up from his slumber. Without hesitation, Qin Mo's first reaction was to place his palm on her forehead. When he felt the burning heat, his eyes sunk. He left the bed and without even wearing his jacket, he left the room half naked during the dark night.

The innkeeper was a local and was having drinks on the first floor with a couple of friends. Qin Mo didn't pause, walking straight towards them. "Do you have alcohol?"

The innkeeper swept him a glance and continued to drink and chat with his friends, ignoring Qin Mo. He reached out and was about to place a peanut into his mouth when a loud swoosh was heard.

A poker card flew onto the back of his hand. Blood oozed out immediately. It wasn't a major injury but the innkeeper's face contorted in pain. The people seated in front of him bolted upright, prepared to retaliate but the moment they raised the beer bottle, Qin Mo held onto their wrists and exerted strength. With a thud, the beer bottle smashed onto the ground!

The three paled instantly. Especially the innkeeper, he looked at his hands, his pupils wavering.

Qin Mo held onto the chairs and smiled, his voice elegant and graceful like a devil. "Do you have alcohol here?"

"Yes, yes, yes!" The boss held onto his hand. "I'll get some now."

Qin Mo broke into a satisfied smile. "Thank you."

The innkeeper trembled. This man was terrifying! When he had seen that they weren't locals, the innkeeper hadn't treated them seriously. But now, he didn't dare to neglect them anymore.

This devil-like man wasn't as weak as before when he had been supported by the youngster. Even though he was laughing, it was cold and almost sinister. Other than the alcohol, Qin Mo also brought a bucket of hot water upstairs. Before he left, however, he instructed, "There is a patient upstairs who needs to rest, don't make unnecessary noise."

The innkeeper was startled but hurriedly reassured him, "Yes." His hand was so painful he could barely muster enough energy to feel angry.

The only man who wasn't injured leaned over. "Who exactly is he? He looks so gentle. How does he know how to injure someone with a poker card?"

"How do I know!" If he had known, would he have acted so defiantly?

Qin Mo brought the bucket of hot water into the room, using his legs to shut the door. Indeed, even though he was half naked, Qin Mo was unlike anyone else. The noble and dignified aura surrounding him hadn't dissipated but his gaze was different, with darkness morphed inside.

He glanced at Bo Jiu. Picking up the towel, he soaked it in water before placing it over her flawless forehead. The thermometers here weren't clean, which was why Qin Mo hadn't asked for any. Instead, he had taken a lollipop from the snacks bar at the front counter.

He had been bored from waiting for the hot water to boil and toyed with the lollipop in his hand before he unwrapped the packaging and placed the lollipop on her lips.

But she didn't react. Qin Mo leaned over and used his lips to open hers, placing the lollipop between her lips. She seemed to have tasted the sweetness in her mouth because the youngster licked her lips, her temples less tense than before.

Qin Mo realized he didn't like it when she was upset. Even though he found a toy, it was better for her to remain exquisite.

Qin Mo reached for her hand and applied an alcohol-soaked cotton swab to dab her joints. It wasn't just her hands, he dabbed her knees, collarbones, tummy...

The burn made it hard for her to sleep peacefully. Thus, when she felt the soothing cooling sensation, she couldn't help forcing her eyes open. Beneath the lights was Qin Mo's handsome face. His head was lowered and she was the only one in his eyes.

He had just reached her logs.

The moment she woke up, her senses turned keen, the numbing sensation drowning her out. Her body was weakened and comfortable like a puddle of water, limp and soft.

Qin Mo watched the flush and her watering eyes. He paused, reaching over to kiss her collarbone. It was visibly different from before. Her fingers were in its original position, sliding down to her tenderness. His breathing turned uneven but he kept it in.

Such suppression felt foreign. But as a criminal psychologist, how could he lay hands on his own toy? Since she was a toy, she could be played and abandoned but never to the last step.

Qin Mo stopped at the last step. He watched her gleaming tear mole and smiled. "My Sugar Daddy, I might have been mesmerized if I hadn't paid attention."

Bo Jiu realized he wasn't willing to touch her but it was reasonable with his cold body. Amidst the haziness, she shut her eyes.

After a long while, she seemed to have entered his arms and could faintly hear his arrogant voice. "Why isn't your temperature dropping? Sugar Daddy, you better get better. This is, after all, the first time I attend to anyone."

Bo Jiu wanted to laugh. Who else would force a fever away in such a manner?Besides, the Almighty must see himself as a young master.

His tone was very much like when he had been younger. His embrace was comforting.

At 3am, Bo Jiu started to sweat. She twitched about, wanting to move but he held her down. "What is it?"

"Hot." Bo Jiu wanted to kick the blanket away.

Qin Mo wrapped her, not allowing her to move another inch. "Sleep."

But she was still hot. In the end, she moved closer to him, soothing herself with his cool skin.

Qin Mo watched as she plastered her face on his chest, his gaze darkening and his palms tightening. That was how the night went. When she finally quietened, the fringe in front of her forehead was damp, pasting onto her forehead.

Qin Mo arched a brow, testing her body temperature once more. This time, she was no longer as hot.

Great! He didn't wish for his toy to look so sickly.

At about 4.30am, Bo Jiu finally fell asleep. When she finally woke up, the sky was bright and light flittered through the windows onto her face.

She turned and saw the most intoxicating appearance. Every time the Almighty slept, he was worthy of the term holy. It had been the case when he had been young and it was still now that he had grown up.

Bo Jiu's gaze fell downwards to the hands that were wrapped around her waist. It was a narrow bed, which meant they had to sleep on their sides. Because of that, they were pressed close together, his breath splashing onto her ears.

Then something attracted her attention. The thing on his neck looked like...

Bo Jiu reached out but was stopped by him. He flipped, his eyes dim and his voice raspy. "Seems like Sugar Daddy doesn't know not to provoke a man in the morning."

The next second, she felt a kiss land on her shoulders. It was dense and deep like a light bite that made her heart race and her mind clear.

The temperature in the room started to rise, until there were droplets on her body. That was when she realized he had placed her in the bathroom. He continued to kiss her as though loving her reactions, his lips lifted as she leaned against him weakly. But other than kisses, he didn't do anything else.

Bo Jiu trembled, a numbing sensation running through her where his fingers trailed. But he stopped. She couldn't understand why. Especially when he was gripping her waist so firmly and he bit down on her shoulders, his breathing turned faint and the bath towel was pulled over.

"Is this how we were in the past?" His black hair was still dripping, the droplets falling onto her collarbone.

"Mmh." Bo Jiu was already wrapped in the towel, waiting for the heat to dissipate.

Qin Mo laughed but his expression couldn't be seen. "Is that so?"

Bo Jiu didn't think this was an appropriate reaction and was about to speak up when he glanced up, a malicious glint in his eyes. "Seems like my Sugar Daddy likes this sort of thing. It's a pity your current body condition isn't right. Otherwise..."

Qin Mo leaned over and bit her ears. His breath was steamy but there wasn't any warmth in his eyes. "We can do anything."

Bo Jiu didn't reply because of the clear knock outside the door. In such places, the soundproofing wasn't well done and even with two doors separating them, their voices could be heard.

It was the innkeeper. "Breakfast is ready. If the two guests are awake, please come and take it by the door."

Bo Jiu arched a brow. "They serve breakfast in such places?"

She had stayed in inns before and having hot water was already a blessing. But now they were serving breaking and it was even personally delivered by the innkeeper?

The innocent Jiu would never have thought of it but last night, the innkeeper had been traumatized by the Almighty.

It wasn't just breakfast, he would probably have prepared an entire feast for them.

"I'll get it."

With a swoosh. Qin Mo opened the toilet door, tossed her two sets of clothes, and wore a pair of long pants.

The entire motion was suave, sharp, and cool. It was indeed different from the previous Qin Mo.

When he opened the door, the innkeeper froze. His hands holding the breakfast tray were trembling slightly. The innkeeper had never met such a gorgeous man. His good looks were emphasized when his hair was wet. But this was also the reason he resembled the devil in comics. Especially his eyes that were so cold it made him cold.

This man didn't seem to be in a good mood. That... couldn't be? Was he going to be injured again, like yesterday?

"You can go now." Without his toy in sight, Qin Mo wasn't concerned about concealing his murderous aura.

The innkeeper shook. Without another word, he passed the breakfast tray over and fled the scene.

He couldn't help feeling admiration for the youngster that had carried him in the night before. Speaking of which, the youngster had made it seem like his friend was frail and weak, someone who would curl up in pain the moment he touched something.

That was the reason he had assumed he was a flowerpot. But he wasn't a flowerpot, he clearly was a devil! That youngster had been treating him like a fragile and exquisite prince... Was there really no misunderstanding?

Chapter 1280

The breakfast was unexpectedly generous with fresh bread, fruits, and milk although their current condition didn't really allow for a European style breakfast.

Bo Jiu held onto the milk and watched the Almighty as he sat in front of her.

The sun rays showered both of them in light. One of them stood while the other sat. They fed each other, with sweetness filling the air. It was a simple life, probably because no one recognized them here. Hence, there wasn't a need to disguise themselves and thus they were in their natural state.

Qin Mo sat half naked in a casual posture but because his legs were so long, he looked extremely handsome with a dignified aura emitting from him. Just the sight of him was indulgent enough. He tore the bread and spread some jam for her.

Bo Jiu ate obediently. Thereafter, he would try the food. Bo Jiu had no idea she was his guinea pig. She took large bites of the bread, her mouth puffed up from the bread. Eating made her the happiest.

Qin Mo realized she enjoyed everything she fed her. Even Qin Mo himself hadn't realized he was smiling.

Qin Mo didn't have a good appetite but surprisingly ate a lot. He found another merit of his toy: She gave him a good appetite.

Just like that, they quickly finished breakfast. Once Bo Jiu had finished her milk, she casually reached for the hairdryer and reached out to stop the Almighty from standing.

Qin Mo arched a brow but before he could say a word, he felt heat on the crown of his head along with her fingers tousling his hair. He knew instantly what she was up to. In his half-seated position, his gaze fell right onto her wide and loose fitted woolen shirt.

It was more obvious after she showered, the smell streaming with the breeze. Was it perhaps the sun rays or the suitable strength?

He didn't push her away, a glint in her eyes.

She had a mischievous look on her face since it wasn't common for the Almighty to be so obedient.

Qin Mo wasn't used to someone tousling his hair. He thus frowned and tilted his head.

"Don't hide." Bo Jiu pressed his head back in place and broke into a smile. "You used to love it when I blew dry your hair and would allow me to do it every time after you showered."

His gaze deepened. He clearly wasn't happy but wasn't angry neither. However, he didn't like it when she talked about past events as it seemed to diminish his presence.

Next, he moved and reached out for her hand, kissing her fingertips. The intimacy seemed so casual. "Sugar Daddy sure is capable." Qin Mo stood up and grabbed the hairdryer, tossing it into the bathroom, completely unbothered if he had broken it.

Bo Jiu noticed the coldness in his eyes but there didn't seem to be any noticeable issue. Instead, he reached out and hugged her. "It's late, don't waste time on such trivial matters. I'm curious of the person I was before, perhaps going somewhere familiar would jolt my memory. I'm rather interested in Jiang City."

Or rather, he was curious about the way they used to interact...

Qin Mo's eyes turned red, carrying a hint of danger. The danger wasn't obvious as it was hidden deep in his eyes.
