𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗚𝗢, 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗔
"Colton, I'm going to let you fall!" I said as he leaned his weight on me while I tried to guide him into our garage with Max following us with his loud paws clanking against the marble floors
"You wouldn't." He said causing me to slightly jerk and him to laugh as he began to tickle me
"Stop!" I yelped as he stopped and just held my waist
"Wait, is the blindfold you have over my eyes the same one I used on you like a month ago?" He asked causing me to laugh as I guided him through the garage
"Yes, it is," I replied while laughing before placing him in front of the new car he wanted that I got him
"Okay, take the blindfold off," I said as he smiled
"I kinda want you to do it." He replied causing me to roll my eyes and reach up taking the blindfold off of him
"Dinah, you didn't!" He then said in disbelief while smiling brightly
"Yes, I did! Merry Christmas!" I replied handing him the keys to the Maserati Quattroporte he had written down as a potential new car for himself
"I was just about to talk to you and say I wanted a new car. How the hell did you know?!" He asked as he lifted me into his arms excitedly
"I'm a super wife" I replied simply before he spun me causing me to laugh as Max did his signature doggy smile while watching us
"Dinah, how much did you pay for the car?" He then asked sitting me down causing me to shush him knowing he was about to go on his 'you shouldn't have' rants
"It wasn't as expensive as the G-Wagon but I wanted to do it for you because I knew how much you wanted the car," I said before kissing him and smiling
"Thank you so much, baby." He said as he wrapped his arms around my waist and bit his lip looking down at me
"That look is going to have us having sex in a brand new car again," I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck
"Not gonna lie, it's gorgeous we may have to test it out. But how did you do this?" He asked as he stared at me happily
"I mean your wife doesn't have Navy Captain money like you in the bank but she definitely gets something from the Navy for all that trouble they put her through," I said causing him to laugh
"That's not what I meant, I meant how did you sneak this car in the garage? You were with me all yesterday!" He asked
"That's my little secret" I replied causing him to sigh playfully as he said, "Okay!"
"Go look at the inside!" I then said pushing him softly towards the car with a smile
"Okay! Okay!" He said as he opened the driver's door
"Super wife you are. You got it all the way down to the red interior I wanted!" My husband gushed happily
"Come on, let's sneak out for like five minutes to test drive the car!" Colton then said causing me to laugh as I asked, "Where?"
"I don't know but we will be back before everyone wakes up!" He rebutted playfully
"I'm just wearing your shirt with nothing but panties underneath what do you mean!?" I asked as he walked over to me and began pulling me towards the car
"Colton! I'm basically naked!" I yelped as I play fought against him causing Max to softly nibble him in my defense and me to laugh
"I wish you were!" He then said as he opened the car door and got me in
He then looked over at Max saying, "I knew you were on her side from day 1 but you don't have to physically show it!"
"Hey, and I forgot to tell you this you and the guys better not be racing each other on the highway like that last time when you drove my G-Wagon!" I nagged
"Oh, calm down, beautiful you like it when I drive all fast and controlled!" He replied causing me to roll my eyes as he walked around the car, opened the back door for Max letting him get back there, and closed the door behind him before he finally got in the driver's seat
"Plus, Houston kept saying this and that about the Porsche truck he had gotten and I didn't appreciate him flicking me off on the highway while trying to speed past me so when the time came I casually sped past him." He replied
"Casually? He was going like a hundred and you sped past him at damn near a hundred twenty." I said as he slipped on his seatbelt
"It was an empty highway and two that's why I paid extra for traction control on the tires," He said leaning over to kiss my forehead
"You better not drive like that with our kids in the car," I said causing him to smile happily
"I won't." He said as I pressed the button on my phone to raise the garage door
"Maximum speed is 70 with them in the car, okay?" I then asked as he began to back out of the garage
"Got it" He replied while laughing

"I'm finna slay in this Dinah! Thank you, sissss!" Theo said as he looked at the Marc Jacobs tote I had gotten him
"No problem, crazy," I said as I sipped my hot chocolate with a smile
"Merry Christmas, Mrs. and Mr. Washington" Colton then said as he handed them both a small box that contained 2000$ each
"And you three," Colton said as he handed my brothers and sister a box each that contained 1000$
"I can't accept this!" My Mom said causing him to smile and put his hands up as he said, "I'm not accepting it back!"
"I can!" Evie then said before hugging him and saying, "Thank you, my favorite brother-in-law!"
"I'm your only brother-in-law," Colton replied as he laughed and pat her shoulder
"That's not the point!" She rebutted
"Can I get a hug too?" Theo then asked causing me, Evie, Nalen, my Mom, and Dad to look at him knowing he was going to do something
"Sure," Colton said causing Theo to hug him with a big smile
"You smell good!" Theo said as he continued to hug my husband who just looked at me and smiled
"Alright, get off of my husband!" I said pulling him away from my Mushy as everyone laughed
"Thank you, son, for the gift and for everything you do for my baby girl. Me and Mya appreciate it." My Dad then said causing Colton to nod
"It's no problem, sir." He replied as he wrapped his arm around me
"Yeah, thank you, Colton, I appreciate you treating my big sister like she's somebody" Nalen then said
"No problem you all, I love and respect Dinah with all my heart and there's nothing I wouldn't do for her." Colton said causing them to all 'Aww' in cadence
"And you pretty boy...Merry Christmas!" I said giving Max a big bone causing his tail to shake as he happily began to bite it
"I had to tell her you like ham more than turkey, boy." Colton then whispered to him causing me to push his shoulder while laughing
"No, he didn't. I told him to get both and we did plus some more things for you, ignore your Dad." I said to Max as he looked up looking confused as we laughed
The doorbell then rang causing Colton to get up and walk over to it opening the door, seeing it was the guys and Houston's wife and kids.
"Go on you guys open your other gifts!" I then said causing them to laugh and go on and open their last few gifts
It was safe to say Me and Colton did great as far as our gift giving toward everyone this year and it made me feel amazing seeing everyone reacting to their gifts.
"Merry Christmas!" I said to them as Houston's wife smiled and hugged me happily
"Can I go get little man changed please?" She asked causing me to say, "Of course!"
"Hey, Aunt Dinah and Uncle Colton!" Jaylen and Melanie, their 10 and 5-year-olds, then said excitedly causing me to hug them as Max happily trotted over greeting them all
"Hi, cuties!" I replied as Houston, Boone, Franks, Ross, and Banks smiled
"You two still being good and helping your Mom, right?" Colton asked he bent to their height
"Of course!" They then giggled causing him to smile and say, "Alright, Alright! Then me and your Aunt will give you two and your baby brother your gifts."
They then jumped up and down excitedly causing me to smile watching the way he dealt with kids.
"Can they have candy apples and the rest of the holiday treats right?" I then asked Houston causing him to nod as he said while laughing, "Yes, of course. I'm finna go help myself as well!"
"Alright, you two you guys can go help yourselves to the treats and make sure you beat your Dad to it!" I said pinching their cheeks before they thanked me and ran off into the kitchen
"Thank you two, Merry Christmas!" He said hugging and shaking Colton's hand after kissing my cheek and hugging me, making his way to the kitchen after
"Hey, guys! Merry Christmas!" I then said to the rest of the guys hugging them all
"Merry Christmas to you too, gorgeous!" They replied before they began to bear hug Colton causing me to laugh
"Where's the eggnog and brandy, Mrs. Andrews?" Banks then asked wrapping his arm around my shoulder
"Alcohol is in the bar and the eggnog is in the refrigerator. Knock yourself out." I replied causing him to playfully kiss my forehead like he usually does to Colton before walking off as Max continuously sniffed Ross causing me to laugh
"Oh, yeah, special delivery for the Captain" Franks then said causing my eyebrows to furrow before Colton turned to me and said sillily, "Remember that husky you wanted?"
"Yeah, I remember you said I couldn't get her because you didn't want another dog you wanted a kid," I said with a pout before Franks grabbed a baby Siberian Husky from Ross who had it hidden in his arms causing me to light up
"You didn't!" I said as Franks handed the puppy to Colton
"Max has a sister! Merry Christmas, beautiful." Colton said kissing my forehead before handing me the puppy
"Thank you, baby!" I said kissing him gently after
"Mmm, you're welcome." He mumbled as I pulled away
"Now my brother and sister are going to flirt with you guys just ignore them," I said to them resulting in them laughing hardly

"Alright, alright let's get ready to eat you all!" My Mom said softly as she sat the last dish that was cooking on the table causing us all to calm down from our laughter that came from Ross and Theo who were acting a complete fools together
"Me and my daughter have absolutely dogged ourselves in the kitchen preparing this nice dinner for you all and I appreciate all the loud and animated personalities and getting to know the amazing men that have taken care and been there for my daughter when she served with you all in the field. But most importantly, I want to thank her husband for everything present, past, and future he's done for my eldest daughter and I'd just like to ask if you can or want the man of this home please bless our food." My Mom said causing me to look over at Colton with a smile
"Alright! I'm going to do this but you put me on the spot Mrs. Washington and while I have been drinking a bit but anything for you and I know it's going to make my wife's day more than any gift I put under that tree for her. Also, this is my first time doing this alone so please bare with me." He said causing my Mom to laugh as we all began to hold each other's hands and bow our hands
"Christ, I just want to thank you for everything that I have been given. From the friends and family that sit at this dining table to the news, my Wife had given me about us finally being able to start our own family. I thank you as well for the safety net you have placed over us all even on the days when we weren't the best we could've been to you. Once again, I thank you for the phenomenal woman you brought into my life 5 years ago that continues to live as my guardian angel that consistently reminds me you are present with a plan in the good, bad, evil, and ugly. I also want to pray for nothing but the best for the men I've grown to call brothers, my in-laws, my Mother who has ascended to live with you, and most importantly the wives and children at this table that keep us full of laughter and occasionally stressed. So thank you once again for another year around this Earth and Amen." He prayed causing us to clap
"Amen" We replied in cadence
I then kissed his cheek and casually whispered in his ear, "That was beautiful...and now I have another surprise for you everyone goes to sleep for tonight"
He then smiled and pecked my lips as Houston said jokingly, "He pray damn near better than me" causing us all to laugh
"Thank you." My Mom then said while smiling at him
