Narrator's POV
It is a normal day in Liyue Harbor. Xiao felt the calm breeze blow through his hair, making it slightly messed up. He was fighting hilichurls on the way to Liyue Harbor, so he got pretty tired.
Xiao saw a restaurant in the distance, he decided that he wanted to eat a little snack before searching around for enemies at night.
He opened the door that leads inside the restaurant, and found an available table to sit at. He saw a person with long, blonde hair walk to him. Xiao just assumed they were a waiter.
"Hello! My name is Aether, I will be your server for today. What would you like to order?" Aether told him with a warm smile. He gave Xiao a menu.
"Hello. I would like an almond tofu, and a glass of water." Xiao told him.
Aether didn't need to write his order on his little notepad, since Xiao ordered only two items from the menu.
"Alright, your order will be ready in about 5 minutes." Aether walked to Xiangling, about to tell her what food she should cook for a customer.
"Xiangling, here's another order. One almond tofu and a glass of water." Aether caught Xiangling's attention whilst she was cooking.
"Alright Aether it should be ready in about 5 minutes!" Xiangling smiled warmly.
"Okay, thank you!" Aether said happily, since he told Xiao the right amount of time to wait for his food.
5 minutes later.....
"Here's your order um.." Aether didn't know what term to use.
"Xiao." Xiao somehow knew what Aether was thinking.
"Okay, here's your order Xiao!" Aether smiled warmly, carefully placing the plate of food and glass of water on the table.
There's just something about Aether's smile that made Xiao's cheeks turn into a light tint of coral pink.
"Thank you, Aether." Xiao tried to hide his flustered state at all costs.
"Your welcome! Oh, here! This is my number, so you can call and tell me if you're coming over to our restaurant!" The cuti- I mean, the waiter Aether said.
"Alright, I'll tell you when I will come back here." Xiao told him.
A few minutes later, Xiao finished eating the food and caught Aether's attention.
"I'm done with my food." Xiao told Aether.
"Okay! Also, here's the check. the price is 3000 mora, I hope it's not too much because Xiangling accidentally made the almond tofu a little more sweet than usual.." Aether scratched the back of his head.
"Oh, it's fine. It's not too much." Xiao payed for the food.
"Thank you for coming here! I hope you enjoyed the food!"
"I enjoyed the food, Bye cuti- Aether." Xiao wanted to curse Lisa for teaching him that word. Lisa told him that once he meets the love of his life, he should start calling his partner 'cutie' to tease them.
"What was that?" Aether pretended not to hear that word Xiao cut off.
"Nothing....." Xiao then again got flustered.
"Um...bye." Xiao walked out of the restaurant, covering my face out of embarrassment.
'Why did I call him that.....' Xiao thought.
"Hehe.." Someone snickered.
He opened his phone and checked his texts.

In the tavern..
"Don't kill me uh...I will smash this wine bottle on your heads!" Venti grabbed the wine bottle and threatened to smash the bottle on both of their heads.
"Alright, try us." Scaramouche drew his knife closer to Venti's neck.
"Scara. No cuddles for the rest of the day." Kazuha told him.
"Wait what NO! -sigh-, What can I do to make it up to you.." Scaramouche dropped his knife and ran to Kazuha to apologize immediately.
"Hmm, I can't really think of anything...you know what? Let's go to my room." Kazuha dragged Scaramouche out of the tavern.
"NO WAIT!" Scaramouche tried to get out of Kazuha's firm grasp.
"Ah, so you don't want me to forgive you? That's understandable." Kazuha let go of Scaramouche's wrist and walked away without him, though fully knowing Scaramouche will come running back to him.
"I- Um.. -sigh-, let's go to your room." Scaramouche ran back to Kazuha.
Kazuha smiled, and put his forearm under the back of Scaramouche's thighs. He put his other arm on Scaramouche's back, and carried him bridal style. It was easy for Kazuha to carry him, since Scaramouche is light.
"H-HEY!" Scaramouche got flustered, since people are gonna stare at them both. He covered his face with his both of hands out of embarrassment.
Venti snickered, glad that Kazuha was there to save him.
Xiao just thought it was boring to kill or hurt someone without his friend. He just dropped the knife and walked out of the tavern.

Real life.
"Hi guys I'm here!" Said Aether.
"Hi Aether." Xiao said.
"HIYA AETHER!" Said Venti.
Venti ran to Aether to hug him, but both of them fell.
It's normal for Venti to do that, he even does that to Xiao.
"Venti, get off of Aether." Xiao said.
"Get off of your boyfriend? Alrighty then~" Venti snickered.
"He is not my boyfriend, and also you are drunk." Xiao cleared up.
"Mhm sure, like I'll believe that." Venti proudly said.
Aether slid in the little gap between me and Venti to prevent us from arguing further.
He tried to start a conversation with Xiao so that he wouldn't commit a murder today.
During that conversation, Venti suddenly got an idea and pushed Aether so that him and Xiao would fall ontop of eachother.
The two of them fell ontop of eachother, focusing on what was infront of them. That gave Venti and opportunity to snap a quick picture of the moment before it ended.
"Sorry.." Aether got up and grabbed Xiao's wrist to help him up.
"It's fine." Xiao got up and apologized aswell.
"HAHA MISSION SUCCESS!" Venti says out loud, showing Xiao the photo that he took teasingly.
"Ah, so this was your mission all along? Give me that phone." Xiao tried to reach for his phone, but Venti was taller than him and took advantage of his height.
Aether just laughed at the whole scene.
