In the auction hall-
"Looks like there are a lot of people here wanting to get their hands on that devil fruit. I see a lot of big pirates here"
"Right. Since devil fruits are extremely rare outside of the grand line, everyone wants them. The security also seems to be very tight in order to control all these pirates from rampaging and stealing" pointed leon
"I don't see anyone particularly strong though. We can get our way with force if it comes to that" said luminas
"Well we don't know for sure. Maybe they have some reserve forces for when things go out of hand." said leon
"Well we have reserve forces of our own too. I don't think they will have anyone strong enough to take on diablo with his new devil fruit in here. So if it comes to it we will just him the signal to blow everything up and then steal and scram in the chaos." stated guy
"Speaking of which, where is he? Shouldn't he be here for this right now? What else did he say to you? You seemed to be taking your sweet time talking to him considering the fact that you two don't get along" asked luminas
"Right that's a long story. Basically he and team 1 won't be joining us for a while unless its an emergency. They found a trace of an eternal pose in this black market which leads to quite an interesting island in the grand line. So team 1 is hard on track to find it." explained guy
"Well that makes sense I suppose."
"And where the heck is that Rimuru again?" asked luminas
"He is keeping a low profile for some reason and wouldn't get involved directly in anything this time too. Who knows what he is up to" explained guy
"Yeah no one ever knows what that slime is up to" sighed leon and luminas
Suddenly there was a loud buzzer
"Aright everyone, the auction is now beginning. The first on the list is-"
"Yosh now it begins"
*
*BAM* Clashed the fists of Vice admiral Tanaka and Dagruel.
"You are strong indeed. Looks like I will be having a lot of fun"
"I don't want praise from a filthy pirate. You just worry about your life"
*clam* clashed Rin and milim, though Rin was pushed back by milim's punch.
Next moment milim suddenly jumped at tried to punch her in the stomach, but Rin took a backstep and barely dodged it, but the next moment felt intense pain in her stomach.
"Tch what kind of haki is that? It seems different from the normal armament haki. It hit me even though I dodged it!"
"Wahahaha Of course I have already surpassed the ordinary armament haki and have reached the advanced level"
"Looks like this is going to be a lot more difficult now" Rin said as she took a battle stance again
Milim jumped at her again, attempting to repeat what she did before, but this time Rin jumped high in the air, and kicked milim on the face. Milim was unable to predict this since she is not good at observation haki.
"I see. Even though you have mastered armament haki, you lack in observation haki. Looks like I stand a chance against you afterall"
"Wahahaha Don't get cocky just because you managed to pinch me once you little fly. I m going to crush you soon enough"
Milim went at her again, this time without holding back, as fast as sha could, threw continuous punches at Rin one after another. Rin kept barely dodging them by the skin of her teeth. Finally one punch hit her and she was pushed back, but suddenly seeing milim let her guard down by this, Suzuki came from behind and kicked milim in the face from befind, which sent her flying across and crashed with some cargo nearby.
"Ugh!"
"Are you all right Rin? Looks like this monster is too much for a single one of us to defeat. We need to work together in order to win here"
"Yeah looks like it"
And suddenly both of them came towards milim at once
"Alright then if you want to play it this way I guess I will have to teach you a lesson!" said milim with an angry smile and prepared to fight. Rin went ahead and pulled out her fist to punch milim, which she blocked with her hands, rin then used her leg to kick her her which she dodged after jumping in air and tried to punch Rin back, but Suzuki suddenly dropkicked milim from the back again. Milim anticipated this and used haki to reduce damage from his kick and continued to with her punch, Rin barely dodged it again and backed off a little. Then milim tried to punch suzuki, which he retaliated by a punch as well, but suddenly Rin kicked milim in the leg which distracted her a little, causing her punch to miss and she got hit by Suzuki instead. Rin was very proficient in Observation haki, and Suzuki in armament haki and they had worked together for years so had very good teamwork.
Like this the fight continued for a few seconds and it was seeming that Suzuki and Rin were having an upper hand on milim. But suddenly they heard a shout-
"KAAAAA MEEEEE HAAAAA MEEEEEE HAAAAA!!!!"
"Suzuki jump!" shouted Rin as fast as she could.
Suzuki, not getting fazed by the situation, instinctively jumped on her call. The ground on which he was standing suddenly exploded, sending him flying towards a wall. Even though he jumped, he was not in time to be able to avoid the full impact of the blast.
"Kyayaya behold the number 1 technique of my veldora arts! Now time for round 2" Then veldora raised his hands above his head and pointed his palms towards the sky and shouted "FINAL FLASH!"
Rin, who was able to see it beforehand, barely managed to jump out of the blast radius, which destroyed the ground below her and sent some rubble flying at her which hit her a little.
"He is throwing invisible bombs at us? What the hell kind of devil fruit is that?"
"I have never heard of it before too"
Seeing this, Dagruel backed from his fight to join milim.
"Veldora seems to be able to manipulate his conqueror's haki and concentrate all of it at one place and launch it ahead. He is one hell of a guy, my rival" said Dagruel with a proud face
"but he is weak in using normal haki, so we need to protect him from getting in a one on one fight." said milim
"Right. So our strategy from now will be, you will be fighting in the front line, while veldora will be sniping them with from the behind, and I will be with him to make sure he doesn't get outnumbered and defeated." said Dagruel
Like this the fight continued again, with milim going toe to toe with Rin, Suzuki and Tanaka, with veldora providing support with his explosions from behind, and Dagruel preventing any attempt from them to attack veldora, and also helping milim out from time to time. And this way the 3 vice admirals were getting overpowered.
"We are going to get defeated at this rate!"
"Seems like it. Don't worry though, our reinforcements will be coming shortly" said Tanaka
"You called for reinforcements already?" asked Rin
"Right. Even though this is embarrassing for us to be losing to pirates of mere North Blue, we have no choice here. So I swallowed my pride and called for them. We just have to hold on for half an hour at most now" said Tanaka
Like this the fight went on for another 25 minutes. And both sides were exhausted, even though milim and co were winning by a lot. Suddenly the reinforcements were in sight.
"Finally! Now we the tables will be turned" rejoiced the 3 marines, when they heard another voice
"Yo milim looks like you are having your fair share of fun here"
"Wahahaha Right guy this is a lot of fun! These guys are really good to be able to keep up with us for this long!"
"Huhu I bet, but it seems enough for now. Lets finish this up quickly and enter the grand line already" exclaimed guy
"Hey Dagruel! catch" guy threw a devil fruit at him
"Oh a devil fruit? Why are you giving it to me though?"
"No big reason, just that looking at it reminded me of you for some reason, so I thought I should save it for you. Now eat it and wrap this up already"
"Alright" said Dagruel and proceeded to eat it.
He then took a step forward, readied a fist, and punched on the ground, which sent severe shock waves, enough that it brought an earthquake in the entire area. Then suddenly the land on which the vice admirals were standing began to crack, and got separated from the the island and with a speed invisible to the naked eye of normal people, flew towards the reinforcement battleships of the marines, and then exploded, causing the entire battalion to sink in the ocean, along with everyone else.
"You were right guy. This is exactly my type of fruit! The Gura Gura no mi: model Earth"
