"It was not your fault, Suhani. Never. It was immature of me to take such an irrational decision. My Dadu was with me but I ignored his love. Even though he lost his Son and daughter-in-law but I was only seeing my pain. Waheguru Ji always gave me love but I was always ignorant of it. Yes, he did take my precious mother from me but I think even he didn't want her to suffer more. He has surely given a beautiful life to her. I know, she deserves it. And my father must be given a sense of gratefulness in his new birth. I have moved on from it, Suhani. Please don't blame yourself. It was bound to happen. It was all destiny. "
I couldn't help but embrace him closer to me. More closer.

"Pasta? " Sakshi Bhabhi chipped in.
I narrowed my eyes at her... She is eating way too much junk food. It's not good for her health.
She gave me puppy eyes, "Please, Suhani. I am eating it after a long time"

I didn't realize when did I fall asleep sitting on Veer's lap.
When I woke up all three of them were looking at me lovingly.
Vaidehi and Sakshi Bhabhi were heart eyes when they saw us like that. They were glad that we were back together.
I looked at Veer, who was smiling softly at me, his gaze telling me "It's a new beginning".
Throwing every negative thought out of the window, I joined everyone for Lunch.
It seemed to be a nice place and with two foodies in the group, it was not tough to get convinced to have lunch here.
Vaidehi was awkward initially, she wanted to apologize earlier but couldn't keep it in words. But Veer just pulled her up in a hug. And the brother-sister duo was back again to trouble me.
We talked of good times... And new beginnings.
This time I won't let any misunderstanding come between us.
I won't believe someone without thinking twice.

And Veer stuffed more food in his mouth.
He reached his limit but he kept eating not wanting to make my Mumma sad.
He gave me a tired smile asking me to rescue him.
I giggled, "Mumma, why don't you serve halwa to him? He likes it a lot " Mumma smiled at me for reminding her about halwa, She went into the kitchen to get it and Vaidehi and I burst out laughing. He glared at us but we were too busy to acknowledge it.
Finally, after feeding him to her heart's content Mumma let him go.
He fell on my bed with a thud.
"You are enjoying too much, Doctor " He wiggled his eyebrows and I have him a cheeky grin.
"Keep giggling... I like it" He said and then closed his eyes, he was too tired.
Ruffling his hair, I went to pack up my luggage.
After dinner, we were leaving. Veer forwarded his hand to Saurabh for a handshake, he instantly grabbed his hand from what I could see... He was intentionally pressing Veer's hand in his... "I hope you will take care of my princess" He gritted his teeth at Veer.
During the whole time Veer was here Saurabh did nothing but keep glaring at him every now and then burning holes in his skull. He was mad at Vaidehi for changing the team but he was determined that he can run the 'team Saurabh' alone.
Veer chuckled at him and quickly nodded.
"I will break your teeth if you trouble her again" As soon as those words left his mouth, Dad smacked his head and Mumma yelled, "Saurabh, behave"
"Dear jiju, please take care of my Lil sister" He blinked his eyes multiple times, giving a creepy smile to Veer which made him cringe away and we all laughed at his antics.
Beeji was happily taking "baalaye" from us and blessed us.
We left for our home.
Our home... It felt so beautiful.
During the whole ride, he kept stealing glances at me.
My heart was jumping as he kept the end of my dupatta in his hands.
It was a comfortable silence between us. Both of us dwelling on our new life.
It was blissful
"You are my dream come true, Soniye" He whispered, heat crawling up to my cheeks.
With our faces beaming in happiness, we entered the mansion. The whole mansion was beautifully decorated with flowers, balloons, and fairy lights.
There stood Dadu, Anmol Bhai, and Sakshi Bhabhi with Aarav in her arms, holding a banner that read, " Welcome back! Veer di Soniye "
I could only hear the cute giggling of my 4-month-old Nephew.
They hugged me and I couldn't help but feel grateful to get this cute family.
" Suhani dear, If Veer troubles you again then punish him while living here. When you went to your Parent's home, It was a punishment to us too for his deeds. "Dadu spoke patting my head and I see other three grown ups agreeing with him.
I nodded at him smiling, we talked for some time, and then they retired to their room.
I shrieked when I felt the house getting upside down but then I realized Veer picked me up in his arms.
"Veer... "
"This is how I imagined I will welcome you when we get married "
He pecked my forehead and started walking towards our room.
Being in his arms gives me solace.
We kept walking toward our room and I kept looking at his handsome face. I wish this journey with him never ends...
As we entered the room, it was completely dark.
"Veer" I called him out and he just made me sit on the bed without replying.
"Veer" I called him again and he switched the lights on.
I observed the room carefully, it was again decorated with flowers and fairy lights. Our polaroids were hanging on the wall in a heart shape.
As I walked closer to the pictures... My heart skipped a beat looking at them.
There were pictures from our childhood to our wedding reception.
Behind every picture, there were hundreds of stories. Our bitter-sweet fights to our happy moments.
My back collided with his front as he embraced me from behind, " I want to fill every hurtful moment with love. We may move on but it's tough to forget everything in an instant. I want to be worthy of you. I want to love you for all those years I have wasted and for all the coming years. Thank you for giving me a chance."
"Veer" I detached him from me, turning towards him I tried to cup his face but he moved two steps back making me confused.
Smiling lovingly at me, " I never confessed it in words...I say it today... You are very precious to me" He went down on his knees holding my hand.
"I am crazily, madly, and irrevocably in love with you Suhani. You are the one that makes my heart beat faster. It has always been you. You are my solace Soniye❤. "
My eyes already started pouring happy tears. I was overwhelmed.
He pulled out something from his pocket and then again looked into my eyes, " I was the biggest fool by not trusting you. The chance you have given me this time, I promise my heart, my trust, my respect, my care, and my soul everything to you, my love. " He tied the diamond bracelet around my wrist, gazing at me with sincere love, he kissed my knuckles.
Getting down on my knees, I cupped his face, "Do you have any idea what you did? You just made my heart tingle in immense love... I love you, Veer... I truly do. It was immature of me to trust someone whom I knew was not trustworthy over you. I promise proper communication with you whenever insecurity arises in my mind. You are close to my heart and I can't afford to lose you " I peppered his face with kisses, he closed his and tears rolled down his eyes.
As he opened his eyes, we kept looking into each other's eyes not getting enough of each other. Finally, the dream turned into reality and it was much more beautiful.
Getting closer and closer, our foreheads rested on each other. The warmth of breaths mingled, and our lips touched, slowly syncing on each other's lips. Savoring on our love, we lost ourselves in each other as our hands kept on moving on each other's bodies trying to fill up the much-awaited longing. In a few moments, the soft slow kiss turned into a fierce and passionate one. With our tongues mingling, he carried me to the bed.
Removing the pieces of barriers, our bodies drowned in the pleasure of love. After years of yearning, the serene Union was blissful. We embraced each other, healing all the hurt and pain with love. The solace of being together could never be described in words.
It was our beautiful, peaceful moment.
