"noona!" jungkook calls loudly, pressing the doorbell continuously with a never dying smile dances on his lips. the door opens and haewon raises her arms to the side, dressed in a pair of bell-bottom jeans and a cute crop top paired with it.
"how do i look?" she asks, fixing her hair once with her hand as she walks inside.
"beautiful," jungkook emphasizes, earning a chuckle from haewon as he looks around the living room, "where's hyung though? don't tell me, he isn't ready yet,"
"he's still in the shower," haewon sighs, going to the kitchen and opens the door of the fridge, scanning the bottles' side with a subtle pout, before glancing back at jungkook, "water, coke, sprite, soju, wine, milk, what would you like?"
"what kind of milk?"
"not banana," haewon says, picking up two tiny plastic bottles of strawberry and chocolate flavoured milk.
"chocolate," he smiles, taking it from his noona and sits on the bar stool, "it's ri's pta meeting today. we'll go there first, and then to the mall,"
"yeah, she's been wanting to go shopping since last month," haewon chuckles, watching jungkook sip his drink, resembling to a little child despite his bulky, muscular body. she ruffles his hair, smiling, "i saw a picture of you, in which you were younger— maybe three or four years old,"
"god... hyung needs to stop with those," jungkook sighs in disappointment, "they used to keep me naked for the starting three-and-a-half years of my life, noona. can you believe it?"
"kids of that age like to keep themselves naked, kook. so it ws probably you who didn't like wearing clothes," she laughs.
"i was a decent man,"
"oh, were you?" she jokes, making jungkook laugh as well.
"haewon-ah! where—"
"jesus!" jungkook closes his eyes, making a disgusted face while jimin freezes in his place. it takes him a good second to snap into reality and grab a towel to wrap around his waist, groaning in annoyance.
"jeon jungkook for fuck's sake why are you always here?!"
"we were supposed to go to the mall today! it's not my fault!" jungkook retorts, touching his eyelids close and shakes his head, releasing a breath, "my eyes..."
"what were you even trying to do?" haewon gives her husband a weird look, and in return he smiles bitterly, muttering something under his breath as he storms back inside the room.
"it's probably been more than twenty years since i saw him like that," jungkook says, making a weird face, "ew, gross,"
"well, i saw him like that yesterday..." haewon presses her lips together, earning a glance from jungkook and she tries to hold in her laughter.
"noona!" jungkook groans, grabbing his hair as he pretends to throw up at what he just saw in his head about his hyung.
"what?" she laughs, "you find it gross because he's your brother. but if you ask me, your brother is fucking hot,"
"can you not—"
"okay, i'm ready let's go," jimin declares at once, walking out in proper clothes this time and takes a deep breath, turning to his brother, "you will ring me once, before showing up here,"
"i'll call noona," jungkook huffs.
"first off, she's my wife, you brat," jimin scoffs, wrapping his arm around haewon's waist, making her laugh as she shakes her head at him.
"why are you mad today?" she touches her face, pecking his lips once and smiles, "let's go, aera must be waiting,"
"yeah, let's go," jungkook nods, standing up and follows the elders out.
whistling casually, scrolling through his instagram, jungkook finds a post from haewon in which she's posing with three other girls. his noona looks nice as always, but to his fortune, even the other three girls look pretty fine too. he leans near haewon, showing his phone to her and mutters in a low voice, "they're your friends?" haewon takes a look at the picture before glancing at the younger with a knowing smile, "no, i'm just asking,"
"two of them are married, one even has a daughter and the last one is getting married in october," haewon says and jungkook clicks his tongue, liking the post anyway for haewon is still in the picture and it's her account afterall. "are you really looking for a girl though?" she asks, taking his phone and types something on the search bar, then clicks on a profile, "this is wendy, i think she broke up with her boyfriend a few weeks back. and now she's desperate for a new one,"
"i think i've seen this girl somewhere..." jungkook bites his lip, squinting at the pictures on her account and does a little 'ah' when his eyes land on a particular post that includes his best friend daniel too, making him smirk, "this is the chick dan banged in the club that night," he hisses, earning an instant smack from his brother.
"is that how you talk about a girl?"
"sorry, let me rephrase it," jungkook clears his throat dramatically, "this is the woman danny... how do you politely say 'fucked' hyung?"
"you don't," jimin hisses, kicking the boy's butt and nods towards the car. jungkook laughs at him, jogging to driver's seat the very instant to avoid getting hit again and starts the engine.
"you're shameless," haewon shakes her head.
"me?" jungkook grins mischievously, "noona, c'mon you can't say that to me,"
"why not?" she crosses her arms, frowning at him from the back seat while jimin watches amusedly from his side.
"because you were the one finding my naked brother hot. so technically you—"
"got it, shut up," haewon's face heats up and jimin turns back to give her an exasperated look. his lips however, curve up in a half smirk that makes the wife shudder in her place, wanting the seat to swallow her up already. she takes a deep breath, giving a challenging face to jungkook as she says, "fine, but at least i was talking about my husband! and you just— y'know what i mean,"
"no, i don't," jungkook winks at her.
"i'm gonna kick you real hard if you that again," jimin threatens and jungkook laughs in his seat, "even jin and yoongi hyung complain about you! how hard is it for you to behave yourself tell me?"
"noona!" jungkook whines virtually through the mirror.
"stop it, jimin. he was just kidding,"
"you and your noona," jimin mutters, then glances at his wife, "excuse me mrs jeon, you're my wife first if i may remind you,"
"okay fine," she chuckles at him.
"hey, by the way," jungkook speaks, "noona hasn't attended any pta meetings yet, has she?"
"no," haewon shakes her head and smiles excitedly, "i'm really looking forward to this one!"
"it's not that great, baby," jimin sighs, "aera's teacher will probably just start like a cassette tape about how mischievous our child is, disturbs the class and always wants to play. that's all that's gonna happen,"
"no, c'mon, ri's not that bad," haewon says and jungkook laughs.
"you'll see,"
"i really hate pta meetings," jimin mutters, "some teachers are so weird— even their praises come with a complain attached to it. this science teacher of her, he was like, aera's a bright student but the questions she asks..."
"god! yeah, i remember!" jungkook snorts out laughing, "he was probably teaching about reproduction or something like that. the man was probably uncomfortable, so he didn't say anything to her. aera was mad at him, she told me after coming home that her teacher doesn't know anything and her classmates kept laughing at her too,"
haewon laughs at that, "what was the question? was it really that awkward?"
"you don't wanna know," jimin chuckles.
"why?"
"because even if you do know, there are really thin chances that you'll be able to answer aera,"
"okay, now you're underestimating me, jimin,"
"fine, try explaining it to her when she's here," jimin smirks, "y'know the process of fertilization right? she wanted to know how the sperms even reached the egg,"
"wha— really...?" haewon's smile falls into an awkward one as she presses her lips into a thin line and jungkook laughs loudly, "wow... how did you manage to keep her that safe and innocent?"
"what? about sex?" jungkook sniggers, "she's just fourteen, noona. and i guess she hasn't realised it yet?"
"okay, stop it," jimin shakes his head, "we don't need to discuss about about this. how are you even okay with it?"
"i'm not," jungkook straightens his clothes, also fixing his hair in the mirror and takes his phone before stepping out once they're in front of the school. haewon fixes her top and hair as well, waiting for her husband, when jungkook leans down to whisper into her ear, "there's a teacher called jaehee, she's into jimin hyung. you might wanna keep an eye,"
haewon glances at jimin, scanning him from head to toe and nods slowly, understanding why anyone would want her husband. he rakes a hand through his hair, slipping the phone in the pocket of his denim and rolls the sleeves of his jacket up, smiling at haewon. she smiles back, walking with him and jungkook, determined to let anyone who tries to flirt with her husband, know that he's married to her. she is the wife and jimin is her man.
"checking people out like that isn't really a good habit," jimin sneaks in a whisper, placing his hand on the small of her back as they walk along the hallway.
"i don't think so, i was just admiring my own husband," she mumbles to him, breaking into a smile the next second before jimin says anything further as aera catches her eye. "there she is,"
the brothers follow her eyes, finding aera standing by the lockers with some of her friends probably. one of the girls with aera, lean closer to her, saying something in her ear, which makes aera turn her gaze towards the other side, watching their science teacher talking to a parent. she scrunches up her face and shakes her head at her friend, pushing her away, making the rest of them laugh.
"hey, aera your brothers are here," one of the boys point at jimin as they approach the kids with a smile.
"hey," jimin says, patting aera's side when she gives him a hug, "everything good?"
"yeah, good so far," aera grins, "hi unnie, you look so pretty!" she says, hugging haewon quickly, earning a chuckle from the elder girl.
"aw thank you, baby," haewon smiles at her, "your brother didn't compliment me even once,"
"i did—"
"no, it was me, i did," jungkook declares.
"fine, sorry," jimin rubs the back of his neck. aera's friends giggle lightly, waving at her goodbye before walking away. "great, now they think i suck at being a good husband,"
"husband's aren't that great anyway," jungkook jokes, leaning near his sister and grins, "am i right?"
"yeah," aera covers her mouth, laughing with jungkook on his double meaning joke which she probably doesn't even understand. haewon just shakes her head, while jimin gives an unimpressed look to his brother.
"let's go see your teachers," jungkook speaks up quickly, wrapping his arm around aera and starts walking towards her class, "i hope we don't have to hear out anyone ranting?"
"miss jaehee wants to see you,"
"me?"
"uhm both of you i guess...?"
"noona's here today, it's gonna be fun,"
"right," aera looks at jungkook, responding to his high-five. they straighten themselves as they enter the classroom, finding the teacher talking to a set of parents and once they leave, it's aera's turn.
"oppa," she tugs on jimin's hand, making him lean down to her height, "don't beleive him if he says weird things about me. i'm a good student okay? and i love you, he wants to put up a fight between us," jimin shakes his head and haewon laughs silently, patting aera's head.
"i would never be mad at such an adorable child," haewon whispers and jungkook chuckles, nodding at her words.
"you should see her when she's upset. you'll feel like you're about to melt," jungkook says, "it's really hard for us to stay mad at her,"
"aera," the teacher calls as the previous parents leave, "mr jeon, good morning, please have a seat," the man smiles as he stands up to shake hands with jimin and bows to haewon and jungkook as well.
jimin smiles back politely, glancing at aera who's standing beside him, fiddling with the rings in his fingers, "it's been almost two months this time," the teacher starts with a minor laugh, "and i have quite a few things to discuss with you mr. jeon,"
"yes, please go ahead,"
aera closes her eyes, shifting to the side and stands near jungkook, sticking to his arm, as if that would make her invisible in the room. "she's good at studies, a smart kid for her age. but the way she takes eveything for fun is what bothers me a bit," the teacher sighs, "last week in my class i caught her eating snacks. and when i told her to stop, she had the audacity to offer me some,"
"i was trying be good..." aera mumbles, "i promise. i thought sir is teaching for a while, and he must be hungry like i was hungry,"
"see?" the teacher sighs in defeat, and so do the brothers, "sir, sometimes the tough decision for me is to decide whether or not to be mad at her,"
"i'm sorry, sir," aera says, looking down at her feet, "i won't offer anyone anything..."
"aera, you shouldn't eat in class," jimin massages his temple.
"yeah, that too," she nods slowly, "i'm sorry,"
the teacher shakes his head and pulls out her progress report, handing it to jimin, "her academic result is good, i must say that. i'm surprised how a child can be good at studies, sports, extra curricular activities, and mischief too,"
"me too," jimin nods subtly, glancing at aera, "you wanna say something, aera?"
aera looks at him for a moment, not understanding what he wants her to say, so she looks up at jungkook, who mouths to her 'i'll behave nicely' and she nods quickly, facing her eldest brother and teacher again, "i'll be nice, sir,"
"good, i hope you mean it, aera. you're a good student, we don't like scolding you either. so it would be great if you change your ways a little, yeah?" he smiles.
"mm-hmm, i'll try," she smiles widely at him, making jungkook and haewon laugh to themselves. jimin stands up, sending an apologetic glance to the teacher who shakes his head and forces up a smile as well.
"thank you for today, you can take her with you now. the students are dismissed after the meeting," the teacher says and watches the happiness in aera's features lighting up her energy in the name of going away from school.
"thank you," jimin says, placing his hand on aera's side as they walk out, "you can never say the right thing can you?"
"what did i say wrong?" aera pouts at him, "i told you don't believe him—"
"aera, mr. jeon," a female voice says, drawing attention from the brothers, aera and haewon.
"miss jaehee," jungkook smiles, nudging haewon's arm and nods towards the lady teacher, "miss jaehee," he whispers to her, getting a nod in return from haewon.
"good morning, miss jaehee," jimin greets her with a smile.
"good morning, how are you doing today, sir?" she smiles, shaking jimin's hand and then jungkook's.
"we're good, thank you," jimin says, "i heard you wanted to see us? i'm sorry if it's about anything aera did—"
"oh come on, sir. she's just a child," the teacher laughs, placing her hand on jimin's arm casually and haewon arches up a brow, watching quietly from the side as her husband doesn't even notice what the woman named jaehee is trying to do.
"it's really nice of you that you can say that. otherwise i only get to here complains about aera,"
"no no, sir, she's a great student. and— moreover i've heard you were good in school as well, am i right?"
"yeah," haewon chimes in, stepping next to her husband and smiles at the lady, "he was pretty good in school. the scholer y'know?"
"of course," jaehee nods slowly, "you are...?"
"oh i'm sorry," jimin chuckles, wrapping his arm around haewon's waist and smiles, "she's my wife, haewon,"
"w-wife?"
"wife," haewon nods with a sweet smile that hides the evil grin inside.
"you didn't know, miss?" aera gasps, acting innocent just like haewon, making jungkook cover his mouth as he's failing miserably in holding his laughter in.
"i..." jaehee clears her throat, tearing her eyes off haewon and gulps, "i knew. of course, you're mr. jeon's wife,"
"right, so i guess we should get going now?" jungkook clears his throat to speak only after making sure that he won't laugh at miss jaehee's face.
"yeah," haewon nods, "shall we, jimin?"
jimin probably now notices the tension between the ladies through their fake polite gazes at each other, which makes him a bit uncomfortable and hard to breathe. but he nods anyway, smiling one last time at aera's teacher before making their way to the exit.
"miss jaehee my foot," haewon scoffs, "how dare she lay her eyes on you! can't she see the ring on your finger? mr jeon, mr jeon, she sounded like a chipmunk stuck in mud, ew!"
jungkook and aera exchange shocked glances, then burst out laughing. jimin on the other hand, stares at his wife as if she's possessed, "it's fine, honey, you don't have to be that mad," he tries to calm her down, rubbing her back as he pulls her in a hug.
"don't have to be mad? are you for real?" she frowns at him, pulling away and crosses her aems on chest, "i saw what you did, jimin. you weren't even pushing her hand away when she kept touching you,"
"touching me— gosh! haewon, we were just talking. it's not what you're thinking, sweetheart," he sighs.
"don't sweetheart me," haewon huffs, "she called your name like that, and there goes mr jeon, swooning over the woman,"
"what are you saying, baby? i don't even like her. i like you— love you, in fact,"
"really?" she looks at him.
"obviously. what kind of question is that? i love you, that's the reason i married you, and that's the reason haewon, i do everytime for you. no one compares to you, my love," haewon nods slowly, letting him hug her and jimin smiles, kissing the side of her head, "feeling better?"
"mm-hmm," she nods, wrapping her arms around his waist and sighs, "sorry, i was being stupid,"
"no, you were being jealous," he smirks.
"she was flirting with you. how would you feel if a man flirts with me?"
"i won't let him. you're mine," he says in her ear, smiling when haewon chuckles.
"koo, when will we go to the mall?" aera looks at jungkook, tugging on his sleeve.
"whenever they're done," jungkook says, mindlessly scrolling through his phone, until he opens the camera and snaps a picture of the couple in front of them. aera peeks at the screen as jungkook shows her the picture of jimin and haewon hugging each other closely.
"nice," the sister says with a pout, "but i wanna go to the mall... let's go..."
this time jimin hears her voice, clearing his throat as he pulls away quickly and haewon gets shy, tugging her hair behind her ear. "let's go, it's getting late," jimin heads straight to the car, however he stops in the middle, turning to jungkook on remembering that he didn't bring his car, and jungkook has the keys.
the younger brother grins at him, taking the driver's seat and waits for both the girls to get in the back seat. jimin too secures his seatbelt on the passenger's and glances at aera, "do you perhaps have some water?"
"yeah," aera nods, giving him her water bottle.
jungkook turns the car into the street, driving in the direction of the mall, playing some loud music as aera connects his phone to the car's system.
"what do you guys wanna get today?" jungkook asks randomly when he stops the car in the parking lot of the mall as aera earlier refused to get off.
"burger, and i see the fishes in the new aquarium," aera lists out, "and of course shoes. i want a new gun too,"
"you can get a burger and watch the fishes," the brother says, getting a huff from aera as she quickly turns to jimin, who nods assuringly that she can take whatever she wishes.
"and you noona?"
"i don't know, clothes for now," haewon shrugs, "and if i like something more, then why not?"
"cool, i want you to help me out with some clothes," jungkook says, pressing the elevator button and hisses when aera squeezes herself to stand ahead of him.
"date?" haewon looks at jungkook.
"no, just thought that i should take some advice from a beautiful girl to impress other beautiful girls,"
"are you saying i'm not beautiful?" aera gasps, hitting jungkook's arm, "you're not beautiful! no one will be impressed,"
"geez, just keep quiet, little girl," jungkook flicks her forehead, pushing her aside and gets in the elevator with his hyung and noona, laughing when aera whines, having power struggle against him.
"what are you doing?" jimin sighs, "stop annoying her, jungkook,"
"i didn't even do anything," jungkook shakes his head.
"he said i'm ugly," aera mumbles, "and then he hit me on he forehead, and then pushed me,"
"jungkook," jimin gives a warning a gaze to the brother, making him sigh and shut up with a defeated expression. aera, on the other hand, stands near jimin, sticking her tongue out at jungkook, liking how jimin scolded him.
"this girl—"
"it's okay," haewon chuckles, "let it be, she's young, jungkook. you can let it slide sometimes,"
"just because you and hyung said so," jungkook huffs, thanking god when the elevator door slides apart and he can walk out.
"oppa, please help me find nice clothes. i came here with koo two times and he just ended up buying me white and black clothes," aera says, holding jimin's hand as she walks beside him.
"okay," jimin chuckles, ruffling her hair, "even your complains are adorable like you,"
"koo's stupid, and i'm cute,"
"yes, what color today?"
"blue? pink?" aera tilts her head, "whichever you like, oppa," she giggles.
"all the colors suit my princess," jimin says with a fond smile, "but i think we should go and eat something first? i bet riri's hungry,"
"yes! riri's dying!" aera exasperates, making the brother laugh.
"where to first?" haewon asks.
"food court," jimin says, "aera's hungry, so we can start there,"
"sure," the wife smiles, "let's go,"
"i'll eat burger and fries," aera announces, "and what will you eat koo and noona?"
"unnie, kiddo,"
"oops, unnie. it's because of koo, i say noona accidentally sometimes," she corrects herself quickly, making haewon chuckle.
"because you're a silly little girl," jungkook snickers.
"oppaaa!"

"okay sorry,"
"no, you say riri's smart and koo's stupid,"

jungkook gives her a straight face, and aera grins mischievously, "koo's smart and riri's stupid," he says.
"nooo! riri's smart and—"
"yeah, i said the same thing," he smirks, "koo's smart—"
"bitch you dumb dumb," aera mutters.
"what the fuck did you just say? c'mere," jungkook huffs, grabbing her hand before she cam hide behind jimin and pulls her towards himself. instead of shrieking in fear or discomfort, aera laughs in his arms, squirming playfully against his firm grip. "what were you saying?" he arches up a brow, holding her in place, and she looks at his face, still laughing.
"dumb— ah no! smart!" she squeals, "you're pretty i said,"
"and you?"
"i'm prettier," she giggles, making jungkook give up as he shakes his head, leaning down and nuzzles his nose on her cheek. "don't bite me—"
"bite you?" jungkook chuckles, opening his mouth and bites her cheek, scooping her up in his arms, "we're gonna have tickle monster come at home,"
"no," aera laughs, "i'll kill you,"
"you can't kill him,"
"you,"
"ri, when are you gonna start speaking like a big girl?" he chuckles, speaking softly as he kisses her cheek.
"don't say that," aera mumbles, "i'm your baby... if everyone will keep telling me to be a big girl, then i'll feel bad. you don't say it, you're my koo,"
"is that so?" he pretends to think, "i won't say it, okay? happy?"
"happy!" aera nods with a wide grin, "now put me down, i'll go order my burger with oppa,"
"alright, go," jungkook places her on her feet, watching her holding jimin's hand as she walks towards the counter. haewon sits with jungkook, smiling fondly at her husband and aera.
"aera never fails to impress me," she says.
"she's a blessing, noona. everyday i'm thankful for her, and i realised it even more since hyung moved out," jungkook smiles to himself, "the hyungs and many other people kept asking if i'm seeing someone or what my plans are about yo marriage and stuff. honestly, i haven't been that lucky with my love life, and i'd rather watch my riri grow in front of my eyes, than wasting years in toxic relationships,"
"you love her a lot, don't you? you're scared to leave her alone," haewon smiles softly.
"i am," jungkook nods, "i hate the fact that one day she'll get married and leave with another man. she's my angel, we've raised her with lots of love and care, the guys out there don't deserve her,"
"god, i love you guys so much," haewon ruffles jungkook's hair, getting a minor laugh from him.
"unnie, koo," aera comes back with a tray, jimin following after her while she places the tray on the table and sits beside jungkook, "i got this for you," she says. jungkook thanks her before picking up his burger and takes a bite, raising an eyebrow when he notices aera watching him, "let me taste it," she says.
jungkook sighs, letting him have a bite and places his hand under her chin for the tissues were placed a little far. aera hums at the taste, moving her head back, "wait," jimin says, picking up a tissue and wipes the side of her mouth, "take small bites at once, kiddo,"
aera hums, taking the tissue from him and looks at her shirt, where the sauce in dripped, "koo," she muffles out with a full mouth, handing him the tissue, while she engages herself in eating her burger.
"you guys are so cute," haewon chuckles, wiping her shirt with the tissue and places her drink near aera.
"yeah, but it's too much work," jimin chuckles, "eat up, what are you waiting for?"
"i'm eating," haewon smiles, taking a bite from her fries and pulls out her phone, "aera, jungkook, look here,"
the two look at her with a confused face, cheeks puffed up as their mouths are full with food and does eyes staring at haewon with innocence, "aw, babies," haewon clicks a picture, chuckling as she shows it to jimin.
"you're beautiful when you're happy," jimin whispers to his wife, "i love you,"
"wha— out of nowhere?" she blushes, "i love you too,"
