3rd person POV
Gulf sat at his desk he just returned from his small lunch date with Joel she had to leave early because her husband surprised her
Gulf sighed not being able to focus on nothing since he came back, slowly looking up his eyes caught mew and it was the first time he focused on something today
Mew didn't notice gulf he was talking with a student online smiling as he spoke to whoever he was speaking to
"Mr. Kanawut..... Mr. kanawut" Jenna spoke putting her head in gulf vision so now he was looking at her and not mew who stood up going to the break room
"Are you free this Friday?" She asked hopeful
"What?" Gulf asked as she stood up he saw mew was no longer sitting where he was
"We're having a party for gaining the top sponsor Pepsi" she said and gulf looked down thinking, He wasn't in the mood for a party

"Friday?" He asked hesitating a bit
"Please come... mew is coming" she added knowing the two were close
"Mew..." gulf looked back at mews seat seeing him sitting there holding a page up as he spoke pointing to things on the paper
"Okay then sure I'll be there" gulf said looking back at Jenna
"Really," she asked
"Yes" gulf nodded
"Thank you" she bowed before running off happily
2 Days Later
Gulf walked towards everyone seeing the sitting down in the back like always
"Mr. Kanawut" king said excitedly
"Hello" gulf bowed a bit taking his jacket off everyone sad hello except for mew who looked at his lap
"Come sit" James said patting the seat beside him, king on his left and mew beside king all the girls on the other side

"A feast for my eyes" mia stated looking at gulf who drunk his second beer
"Please god keep Mr. kanawut single" Jenna added and suddenly James put his hand on there shoulder coming out of nowhere causing both to flinch
"But there's an unfortunate rumor" James stated whispering mew who sat in front of Mia also could hear as he sifted his eyes to James
"What" Mia as Jenna asked
"He might transfer to a new school as principal I also heard it's a new building a few miles away" James whispered and mew stared him him almost frozen
"What, no" mia spoke gasping loudly
"Is just a rumor" James said
"But we won't see him anymore" Jenna whined
"Who told you" both asked and mew slowly looked at gulf who was talking with Jake

"Let me drink it" gulf asked pointing to the weird drink in Jakes hand
"You mean this" jake asked and gulf nodded
"Are you sure you don't seem like a drinke-"
"It's fine" gulf took it just when he went to drink the liquid the cup was grabbed away from him
"No it's not fine... don't let him drink this it's too strong" mews voice was heard as he set the drink back in jake hand
Jake shrugged turning about to pass it to king who giggled taking the drink but it was snatched from his hand making jake turn and see james glaring at him
Jake huffed before drinking his drink himself, that's what I gets for beings nice he thought to himself
"Mr. Kanawut, you should get home soon" mew squatted begin gulfs seat making gulf look down at him
"But the busses are still running a lot are I have tim-"
"aren't you quite drunk already when did you drink so much" mew stood up
"But-"
"Let's go I walk you to the bus stop" mew cut gulf off again
"B-but-"
"Come on let's go" he grabbed gulf lifting him up by his arms
"Wait" jake said handing gulf his phone
"Be careful" Mia said
"I'll take him home" mew said as he pushed gulf towards the exit
"Your taking him" Jenna asked by mew didn't respond only followed gulf out the bar
(It's like a bar and grill yall like this
But all of the tables are pushed together cause that's what they do)
Gulf followed behind mew trying to find his footing on the stars they were going down but because of how wobbly his legs felt he ended up slipping luckily mew turned when he heard gulf yelp and caught him
"Are you okay" mew asked taking a few steps back once gulf was standing correctly again
"Yes, sorry... thank you" gulf said and mew just turned away
"Be careful" he reminded before continuing to walk down the steps gulf looked down at his feet as he did so as well until the reached the bus stop
"I don't see the bus yet" mew said as he looked down the road
"Hm" gulf just hummed
"Your really transferring" mew suddenly asked neither looking at each other still
"You heard?.... It's not official yet though" gulf said staring at his feet
" it'll be nice by the bus stop" mew said and gulf looked up ahead staring at the stop sign
"Yeah" gulf said, he had his license but didn't know how to drive yet he never thought of it
"I'll just take the train home" gulf said and mews eyes widened
"You can't even walk correctly it's dangerous to walk that far-"
"I'll be meeting Joel tomorrow I should go soon thank you for helping me get here" gulf bowed before walking past mew knowing if he'd stand there any longer he'd say something he didn't understand why he said it
"Right... get home safe" mew mumbled walking the other way, his home wasn't far from the bar maybe a 20 minute walk with his speed maybe 10-15
Gulf stopped and turned watching mew walk away before sighing as he continued to walk to the train station
It's fine, with time I'll return to being a normal colleague gulf thought to himself
"MR. KANAWUT" he heard his name from a distance making him turn and see mew running towards him
"I'm glad I caught you in time" mew huffed trying to catch his breathe
"Why are you here" gulf asked confused his voice soft and light
"Sorry... I forgot to hand you this" he held out an umbrella "it might rain before you reach home it's already thundering" mew said hearing the light rumbles of thunder in the air
"You went to all that trouble for me?" Gulf asked shocked as he took his hand out of his pocket grabbing the umbrella from mews hand
"I have two of them so dont worry" mew assured and gulf nodded looking down at the umbrella in his hand
"Thank you" he mumbled before an uncomfortable silence engulfed them
"Me-"
"Okay I'll be leaving now.. please get home safely" mew cut gulf off turning around before gulf could even nod his head and ran away, A stupid run which gulf could help but think was adorable
Gulf watched as mews team disappeared
Flashback
Gulf watched as the rain pour from the inside of the school just as he was about to step out mew came beside him holding up an umbrella
"Please use this" mew said as gulf took it
"You have two again" gulf asked as they stepped out the only thing protecting them was the large sigh with there school name on it
"It's because you never bring one" mew stated as they opened there umbrellas
"Thanks for watching out for me even outside of work" gulf smiled his dimple getting deeper the more he gained weight which was weird he swore it was the opposite way
"I like being a help to you" mew smiled looking at gulf
End Of Flashback
Gulf walked back and forth not knowing if he wanted to follow mew or go home
"If I go back to my old passive self mew will never smile for me again" gulf thought which made him stop completely
Turning around he started to speed walk in mews direction his feet getting faster and faster until he started running
Gulfs POV
I'm not okay with that at all
I want to see his cute smile
I want him to get mad at me and do the cute pout he always does when he is
I want him to cry and allow me to comfort him like I should have done the first time he did
I want..... him to be mine like he wanted me to be his
3rd person POV
Mew walked up the steps slowly thinking about his past life decisions
If only he hadn't lost control and kissed gulf everything would be fine, if only he hadn't exploded his feelings gulf would still be his friend at least
Mew sighed a bit just as he reached the top he heard his name being called
"MEW... MEW" turning as he recognized the voice, he met gulf halfway through the stairs concerned
"What's wrong did someone try and hurt you did you miss the train" mew asked immediately as gulf leaned on mew for support trying to catch his breath
"I'm sorry mew I tried I really tried but I can't do this anymore" gulf stopped and looked up still breathing heavily as he spoke staring into mews confused soft eyes
"I like you too... I like you so much I could die as well"
