3rd person POV
Flashback
"Thank you for today" mew spoke as he followed gulf out of the small bar
"It's fine, I dragged you here" gulf said looking for the bus down the road
"What time is the last bus" gulf spoke to himself looking down the road
"I'll do my best" mew spoke making gulf turn and look at him who was clutching his backpack "I'll work hard" mew added confidently
"You don't have to strain yourself" gulf smiled a bit
"But-"
"I told you earlier regret can fuel you life" gulf said staring at mew who watched the ground
"Right.. so I'll work hard-"
"But... life isn't just about work, there's hanging out with friends, hobbies, and romance" gulf spoke walking closer towards mew, mew gave a forced smile before looking down at his shoes
"Those aren't for me" he muttered softly still looking at his feet until he saw gulf lean down he was slightly taller now since he was standing on taller ground
"Really" gulf asked staring and mew smiling, the two continued to stare gulf smiling mew just blinking with a blank shy face
"Aren't you just trying not to get your hopes up" gulf asked standing up straight again and mew avoided eye contact with gulf once more now looking off to the side
"It's okay you'll learn to love yourself more" gulf smiled patting mews shoulder making mew look at him
End of flashback
"You told me I'd learn to love myself more" mew repeated gulfs words with a small smile on his face as he stared at the ground "so I tried lots of new things and tried to enjoy doing more things... now I like myself 100 times more than back then" mew stated before he finished tossing the clothes into his Bin
"That was all you, I didn't do anything-"
"And you taught me a lot outside of work as well... learning to forgive others and put myself in there shoes, a simple smile, ordinary happiness, doing things on my days off.. after becoming an adult it was only you who taught me and reminded me of those things" Mew looked at gulf who seemed to be listening intensely
He then stood up walking towards the kitchen to clean the mess up, he turned looking at gulf just before he entered the kitchen area concerned as he saw gulf frozen just looking down at his lap
"Mr. Kanawut?" He called out softly
"....... I feel that way as well your the only person who makes me glad that I've lived for this long.... For 39 whole years I've been alone my mom died when I was young my father left me at the hospital I was practically raised there the doctors would take turns watching me so I didn't go to foster care because it was bad back then" gulf stopped for a second shoving his hands in his lap before continuing
"Until I was 18 I finished college online due to having to work everyone who raised me was old and dying one by one I've always thought when I hit 40 it would be the end for me that's why I didn't care about things which could help me nor did I care about life upgrades until you showed me there was more tlife than rice and beef everyday or just tea there's pancakes, waffles, smoothies, and all different sweet things" gulf sniffled wiping a tear that fell from his face
"Mr. Kanawut" mew mumbled slowly making his way towards gulf just as he reached down to grab gulfs face there was running bit turned in unison looking at mews phone the name Ms. Katerina was seen
"I-I'll get going the ... sorry for crying don't mind it ignore everything I just said" gulf stood up tears threatening to leak from his eyes
Wiping them quickly gulf made his way towards the living room grabbing his coat and bag 💼 (one of those I don't know if it's like a shit casein or???)
"What?" Mew asked quickly grabbing his phone shutting it off ending the call in the process
"You had a call answer it that's rude" gulf said putting his work he was working on earlier back
"N-no s-she's just being polite" mew responded those few words hit gulf like a bus, politeness the same thing he'd said yesterday and today
"Really?" Gulf asked as he continued to ignore mew who was now standing beside him
"Um-"
"I'll see you later"
"Mr. Kanaw-"
"I have to take a shower, I have to watch the show I recorded and and I'm getting a package I also need to water my plants I have to meal prep for the week and I also have to do that thing-"
"Gulf" mew raised his voice a little causing gulf to freeze quietly sniffling wiping his face
Gulf felt mew come from behind him now standing in front of him before he could even get a chance to speak mew stepped forward his front touching gulfs before he cupped gulfs face placing his lips onto his softly
Gulf eyes widened as he allowed me to kiss him not only once but twice before mew rested his forehead in gulfs
"Mr. Kanawut" he whispered his thumb trailing along gulf's bottom lip
"M-mew, what are you doing your drunk right" gulf asked eyes even more wide as mew rubbing his forehead in gulfs slowly his noses touching slightly
Mew leaned forward placing two more kisses on gulfs already slightly bruised lips, he pulled away staring directly into gulfs eyes as gulf backed up mew walking forwards hands on gulfs hips tightly
"I'm not hungover, I'm not half asleep" mew responded as gulf back hit the wall mew leaned forward trying to kiss gulf again
"Wait, hold on m-mew" gulf scooted down until he was seated on the floor, Mew rested his head on gulfs shoulder breathing heavily trying to calm down
"Mew" gulf whispered shocked feeling mew turn his head his face in his neck slightly he could feel mew breathing on his neck causing himself to shiver at the feeling
Mew fisted gulfs button down shirt tightly before moving his face away from gulf wanting gulf to hear him speak
"I'm seducing you, I've been trying to seduce you this whole time with everything I have although you never had a clue.... I know being seduced by the same sex isn't considered common sense for most people especially from a colleague..... but unfortunately it's common sense for me.... I've been trying to make you mine this whole time"
"Mew..."
"I've been meaning to tell you this whole time but I was afraid.....I was always scared of saying something that wasn't normal to you but doing this..... and telling you in such a horrible way, I'm so sorry" he stopped and looked at gulf staring right into his soft confused eyes
"I like you, I like you so much I could die-"
"Mew-" gulf instantly stopped and mew covered his mouth placing his head back on gulfs shoulder
"It's fine I know.... However I was so happy when you said those things about me, it made me so happy" mews voice cracked and he sniffled feeling his tears drop on gulfs shoulder, He backed away slightly still holding his head down his hand away from gulfs mouth
"Im sorry... I couldn't hold it in anymore... I'm really sorry you may hit me as you'd like" mew bowed, tears repeatedly falling down his face and onto his balled fist as he tried holding in his sobs
"I wouldn't do that" gulf spoke softly as sat up straight still leaning against the wall
"Y-you can do it hit me as hard as you'd want-"
"I told you I wouldn't do that" gulf spoke again watching as mew sobbed and broke down shoulders sagged, head bowed down he could see his tears dropping slowly
"Mew" gulf whispered as he took in mews state his hand reaching out to cup his wet cheek but he never did it his hand stayed in mid air not knowing if he should comfort the man in front of him or not
What did he feel about him? He knew how mew felt but didn't understand how he felt himself
"As for work, I'll work even harder than I have before please let's just keep being the normal coworkers like before... I apologize for the difficult request" mew bowed before standing up rushing to the bathroom
Gulf sat there his hand still out in the same place before blinking noticing mew was no longer there, he stood up with all his things staring at his hand which was on in the door Knob
He felt like a coward, and just how he felt is how he acted as he left mews home closing the door behind him walking off to somewhere he doesn't even know himself
