K: WHAT!
As soon as Monami declared her decision, Karan shouted being shocked. Rest others looked at him. Param and Shivam were giving victory smiles internally as their plans were being successful. Monu was internally cursing herself for this.
P: Chikh kyun raha hai karan?
K: Wo.. wo... kuchh nahi bhaiya..
P: Monu... I am really happy for you! Bas teri shaadi hojaaye to mujhe kabhi aisa nahi lagega ki mene uncle aunty se jo zimmedari li thi wo puri nahi ki..
Mo: Bhaiya.. aap agar aisa kahoge to me sahi me aapse baat nhi karungi..
P: Achha baba sorry.. aage se nahi kahunga aisa kuchh... okay?
MO: Hmm better.
B: arre bas karo ab.. abhi to khushi ka mauka hai.. ghar me shaadi ka mahaul hone wala hai.. naach gaana sangeet.. me to bohut excited hoon..
She congratulated Monami and Shivam.. All were deliberately ignoring Karan. Barkha asked monami to stand near Shivam. She did so. Both showed happiness on their face. specially for Karan to see.
Karan fisted his hand seeing them together. He felt something breaking in him. He felt restlessness. He didn't know why he felt his world crushing down. As if he is losing a part of himself.. As if he is letting go of something which is his.. Seeing them together, he never realised when his eyes started shed tears. Without speaking anything, he just went to his room silently.
Here, everyone else saw his reaction. Monami's eyes too became moist. She didn't like Karan being hurt due to her. Barkha hugged her tightly and whispered sweet words to her. She calmed down a bit. Param and shivam signed her not to cry and assured that everything would be alright!

Here Karan barged into his room and shut the door loudly. He was breathing heavily. He was disturbed.

Subconsciously, all the moments He had spent with monami came to his mind. Them spending their childhood together, being each other's strength, the comfort person. Each other's secret diary. Karan had called faizi and Sid to discuss about the matter.. Little did he know they both too are a part of Param's plan! Param knew that his brother would share his problem with faizi.. Monu had too informed the plan to Sid.. So now, Sidzi were just acting in front of Karan..
K: Haan yaar.. Pata nahi Rani sahiba ko uss shivam me kya interest hai.. aise kaise Maan gayi shaadi ke liye..
Sidzi blinked at each other..
Sid: waise Karan bro.. problem kya hai? Mtlb.. monu and shivam dono ekdusre ko jaante hain.. bohut achhi tarah se.. so their alliance is okay?
Karan glared at him. Sid gulped in fear..
F: waise Sid ki baat me dum to hai..
K: Faizi tu bhi? Yaar.. tumlog na samjh nhi rahe.. Shivam and Monu.. nahi yaar.. aren't made for each other.. Pata hai monu Kitna complain karti rehti hai.. Shivam aisa hai shivam waisa hai.. wo log compatible nahi hai yaar..
Sid: (whispering to faizi) pure duniya bhar ke reasons boldega.. par dil ki baat nahi bolega..
F: (in the same tone) inked haal e dil jaan ne ke liye humsabk9 intezaar karna padega..
K: Tum log Sun bhi rahe ho main kya bol raha hun
Sidzi: han han hum sun rahe hain
F: Janab ji aap Humse bus itna kahiye ki aapko is Rishte se akhir problem kya hai?
K: mu..mujhe..mujhe kya problem hoga.. wo..wo me to.. me to yeh kehna chahta hoon ki..monu deserves better than shivam.. wo aur shivam ki jodi.. nahi...
Sid: Aur wo kyun?
And as if Karan was waiting for this statement.. he immediately started pointing out all negative points of shivam. Why monu and shivam weren't a great couple.. Why shivam won't be a responsible husband.. and etc etc..
It was when sidzi felt they had heard enough bak bak of Karan.. they decided to stop hum..
S: Bro bro bro..bro.. monu aapki best friend hai.. to ekbaar us ko manane ka try karlo.. kya pata monu maan jaaye??
F: Idea achha hai.. Karan.. monu tumhari baat to samjhegi hi na.. to ek kaam karo.. hamare saamne jitna bura bura (Karan glared) aaa .. I mean.. bhala bura shivam ke baare me kaha.. wo monami ko samjhao.. wo shaadi se mana kardegi..to kaam.. hojaayega..
S: exactly.. aur phir koi achhha ladka dhundke uski shaadi karwadenge..
Karzi: Naa/Haan
Sidzi stared at Karan..
K: Ah..wo..me..me monu ko samjhake aata..

Monami got his excitement. She quickly changed her sentence.
Mo: Haan i mean.. ab tak sirf tumhara tha.. Par ab.
K: Ab??
Mo: Tch kya karan.. tumhein commando kisne banaya yaar? Abtak tumhara haq tha.. par ab to Shivam ka bhi hai na.. i mean.. hamari shaadi ke baad kya mera kya tera?
Karan fisted his hand. But he didn't notice that the last line she told was by looking at the mirror where Karan's reflection was visible. As if conveying to him that she and karan are one!
K: Monami mujhe tumse baat karni hai!
Mo: haan to karo!
K: Monami.. Tum Shivam se shaadi karne ke liye kaise maan sakti ho?
Monami looked at him with suspicious eyes.

K: Tum dono dining table pe bhi professional baatein karoge.. personal life ki baatein to ho hi nahi paayengi..
Mo: Par hamara kaam hi same hai karan.. hum bore nahi hinge medical ki baatein kar kar ke..
K: Monami studies have proven ki do doctors ki aapas me taal mel nahi hoti..
mo: Kitni jhooti kitabein padhte ho karan.. do doctors me sabse zyaada taal mel hota hai.. tabhi patient ki jaan bachti hai..
K: Monami.. tum.. meri yaadash aane se pehle shaadi karlogi? (with puppy eyes)

K: Itne saalon me mere saath bore hui kya aajtak??

Monami went speechless after hearing this.. Karan realised what he said and he immediately changed his sentence..

Mo: Haan. wo.. umm.. itni si baat hai.. to me.. shaadi ke baad surname change nahi karungi.. simple
K: Rani Sahiba.. kya jaldi hai aapko uss shivam se shaadi karne ki.. aisa kya hai uss bandar me?
Mo: (in mind: Arree mera khadoos shergil.. itna jealous horaha.. par ek baar apne dil ka haal nahi bata sakta.. hey bhagwaan.. is ulti khopdi ko 2 ruppay ka romance sikha do)
Mo: (to karan) Ok karan.. let me get this straight.. karan shaadi shivam se karna isnt the point.. it doesnt matter.. Karan mummy papa ke jaane ke baad, uncle aunty ne mujhe kabhi aisa mehsoos hi nahi hone diya ki me anath hoon.. hamesha apni sagi beti jaisa hi pyaar diya mujhe.. uncle aunty ke hote hue mujhe kabhi aisa mehsoos hi nahi hua ki mere sar pe maa baap ka aashirvaad nahi hai.. uncle aunty ke jaane ke baad, meri saari zimedaari Param bhaiya pe aagayi.. meri khushiyan, mere sapne, sabka khyaal rakha unhone.. aur pehli baar unhone mujhse kuchh maanga hai.. yeh to me de hi sakti hoon na...
Karan was listeninh to her keenly.
Mo: Karan shaadi shivam se ho ya kisi aur se.. shaadi to honi hi hai.. bhaiya ne shivam ke saath rishta fix kiya.. taaki aage chalke mujhe adjust na karna pade.. taaki me comfortable rahun. kisi aise ke saath jisko me pehle se jaanti hoon..
K: (who was not in his senses) HAN TO MUJHSE KARLO NA SHAADI
Mo: KYAAA?

Karan himself was shocked with what he said. He had decided to convince monami to backout of this marriage.. but he never thought of asking her to marry him.. He couldnt understand how to fix this slip of tongue of his. Before monami could say anythimg, he quickly said a "sorry" to her and left the room.
Monami smiled with tears in her eyes..
Mo: Galti se hi sahi. tumne apne dil ki baat to keh di karan.. Ab to mujhe bhi yakeen hogaya.. ki mere Khadoos Shergil ko uski Rani Sahiba se pyaar hogaya.. Ab bas jald se jald tum confess kardo karan.. i am waiting for you..
