I don't know how to write
a poem
if I think about it.
If I don't,
words organize themselves
in parties
inside my head -
dance around until I
let them out
and write them down
out of sheer self-defence.
Where do I get my ideas?
people ask;
same as anyone:
they come out of my head.
But now we're coming up on
a full moon
and tonight
nothing I do is any good.
