"trust me y/n, you're going to absolutely love this," jungwon spoke eagerly, tugging on the girl's arm.
the two were standing on the sandy beach, the vast and clear ocean staring back at them.
"hey guys, are you ready?" a familiar boy appeared from behind, wrapping his arms around each of their shoulders.
y/n crossed her arms, "i'm seriously not gonna do this."
"you are and you're gonna love it!" jungwon exclaimed, "niki, knock some sense into her!"
"i'm not sure if i can, she sure is persistent on not going," niki laughed, clearly not caring if she came along or not.
it was her choice after all.
"thank you, at least he has some common sense," y/n shook niki's arm off of her and gripped onto her tote bag, "now if you'll excuse me, i need to find the perfect spot to read my book."
jungwon grabbed the girl's arm, "there is no way you're leaving me all by myself with niki."
"watch me," y/n flicked jungwon's hand off of her once more, deserting him with the eager boy who was pulling him towards the water.
y/n looked down and began to head back up to find a perfect reading spot, but accidentally bumped into someone as she was walking.
"she could have at least said sorry..." the boy mumbled under his breath as he turned to look at the girl's back, then headed towards niki and jungwon.
"hey jay!" niki greeted the older boy, tugging his arm, "let's go surfing now- i'm getting impatient."
jay and niki headed straight for the clear waters, but jungwon remained for a lingering moment.

"are you coming, won?" jay spoke up, causing jungwon to drift his mind away from the girl for only a moment.
