Y/N: Why are we going to Vale?
Y/N had his arms crossed in a bullhead as Athena was seated using her scroll.
Athena: Gotta meet with an old friend, he's comic to Vale.
Y/N: Couldn't you take Erwin or the leader?
Athena: Still refuse to say his name, huh?
Y/N: We're not in the best terms, and I don't really care.
Athena: So emo.
Y/N glares at Athena who looks away.
Y/N: Who are we meeting?
Athena: *epic tone* He is "The Great Sage, Equal to Heaven... Sun Wu-Kong!"
A weird music was heard in the background as Y/N kept a annoyed face as Athena smiled.
Y/N: Sun Wukong? What the hell is the great sage?
Athena: Shut up! Is something he picked up in one of the books, he just calls himself that.
Y/N: Sounds taken... and stupid.
Athena: Come on! Is not that bad! Sounds powerful.
Y/N: Sounds dumb.
Athena: No it isn't! Ugh, let's just get out.
The bullhead opened in Vale as the two walked out. Scene shows the two in the streets looking at a few announcements for the "Vytal Festival."
Athena: Tell me you're not excited for the Vytal Festival.
Y/N: I really am not.
Athena: Do you even know what that is?
Y/N: A festival?
Athena: Is more than that! Every kingdom will be in one place, at least a few. Then the students from each academy will fight against each other. Did you not hear anything that Glynda said?
Y/N: Huh?
Athena: Never mind. The Vytal Festival is a way to celebrate the end of the Great War. There's dances, parades, music and the tournament.
Y/N: So there's fighting?
Athena: Yeah!
Y/N: Between any of the academy's kingdom?
Athena: Yes!
Y/N: And the winner what does it get, money?
Athena: I don't know! I've never competed in it.
Y/N: The Vytal Festival... doesn't sound that bad. Where is it hold?
Athena: Amity Colosseum... from Atlas. Technically... it will be in the sky from any of the Academy's. This year... is in Vale!
Y/N: Huh... doesn't sound bad at all.
Athena: You're interested?
Y/N: Actually... very. It's a 4v4 fight, there's so much we could learn from the other kingdoms and warriors. How they act, they're technology, strategy, tactics, skill... we could learn so much from them.
Athena: Well... you're not wrong. Come on.
She started to walk with Y/N behind her. They walk to the docks as they see a cruiser coming at their direction, as Athena smiles hands clapped.
Athena: He's here.
Y/N: Is he... your boyfriend?
Athena: Don't be an idiot, he's a childhood friend.
Y/N: Is he? Sounds like you have heads for him.
Athena: Shut up!
Y/N scoffs and he shows to be eating an apple, making Athena look at him.
Athena: Where did you get that?
Y/N points to a small store with fruits, as she looked shocked.
Athena: You stole an apple?
Y/N: Yes.
Athena had eyes widen... he admitted without fear.
Athena: Oh my god you're crazy.
Y/N: Literally?
Athena: STOP PLAYING ME!!!
She later heard a voice as she looks at the cruise. She had stars in her eyes and her smile very big.
Athena: He's here!
He looked forward to the cruise, as he looked back due to hearing some steps. He saw Team RWBY leaning and they saw the two from Team CATE.
Ruby: Hey, guys!
Athena stayed looking at the cruise until she saw someone jump at the top of the cruise with some heroic pose... it was a guy with blond hair and blond monkey tail with a very Vacuo look... yep that was him... Sun Wukong.
Sun: Behold everyone! The Immortal Monkey King! Sun Wukong!
He held a very powerful and again, heroic pose... until he slipped... yeah he slipped.
Sun: Whoa!
He fell from the top directly to the small hallway the cruise had, as Athena had a dumbfounded look as well as Y/N.
Y/N: That's... your friend?
Athena: He's a dork, let him be.
Team RWBY also saw the scene and were left just like Athena and Y/N.
Ruby: That was something.
Yang: Yeah.
Blake stayed looking at Y/N... she was more dumbfounded on how he was now acting. Like if he made a human friend, that was probably some act he was doing... right? Sun gets up and looks back seeing two people from the cruise.
Sailor #1: Hey, stop that Faunus!
Sun: Uh oh.
He started to run away as Y/N was left even more dumb.
Y/N: What?
Athena: Oh yeah, he... doesn't pay for his doings.
Sun jumps to the ledge and looks at the sailors smiling at them.
Sun: Thanks for the ride, guys! Haha!
He jumps off as the sailors look at him angry.
Y/N: He's a stowaway?
Athena: Yep.
That caught his interest as one of the sailors scream at him.
Sailor #2: You no-good stowaway!
Sun looks back eating a banana he got from his pockets.
Sun: Hey! A no-good stowaway would've been caught! I'm a great stowaway!
He looks forward and opens his arms.
Sun: Thena!
Athena jumps and hugs Sun as they crush each other with hugs.
Athena: It's been so long!
Sun: I know! I missed you.
Athena hugs him more as Y/N was left eyes widen. Sun looks at Y/N who kept eating an apple and smiled.
Sun: You actually made friends.
He dashes and stands in front of Y/N who had his normal neutral look.
Sun: She has a hard time making friends. *extends his arm* Sun Wukong.
Y/N looks at his hand and... he actually shakes it.
Y/N: Y/N.
Athena looked in a bit of shock. Well... he was a Faunus but... he doesn't even shake the hands on a few others, and he hates a few others. Blake almost loses consciousness seeing that... Y/N shaking someone's hand? Being friendly?!
Yang: Blake? Are you?
Athena dashed between the two and looked at both.
Athena: All right! *looks at Y/N* What did you do to Y/N?! Who are you?!
Y/N: Huh?
Sun: What's wrong?
Athena: Y/N never shakes a hand. This isn't him!
Y/N: It... is me.
Athena: Are you?!
Y/N: Yeah. A stowaway? Guy who doesn't pay the bills, he's my kind of guy.
Sun: You're like that too? How come we've never met?
???: Hey, you!
The three look seeing two detective looking at them.
Detective #1: We need you three to come with us.
Athena: Why?
Detective #1: The blond Faunus took a ride to Vale without paying, we need to ask him a few things.
Sun took the last bite of his banana and threw it to the face of one.
Sun: Nah, there's nothing to talk about. I am a stowaway and a good one.
He jumped over them as he made a run for himself, as Y/N and Athena looked at him and followed him. The detective finally had his eyes on them as the three went to the stairs as Team RWBY looked at them.
Weiss: He's with a Faunus? And Athena too?
Yang: I mean, she isn't one.
Weiss: Still, she's with now two criminals-
They ran upstairs and ran by Team RWBY.
Athena: Hellorwbybyerwby.
She talked insanely fast as they were left looking with eyes widen.
Yang: Well, Weiss, you wanted to see the competition, and there it goes...
Weiss: Quick! We have to observe them!
Yang, Ruby and her went to chase them, as Blake still confused wakes up to reality and chases the team. Sun, Athena and Y/N were on the run as Sun kept a smile.
Sun: Just like old times.
Athena: Totally.
Y/N raised an eyebrow and kept running... he gotta admit, the feeling of danger and being a criminal... he has always liked it. Team RWBY took a turn and followed the three still. But Weiss who was in front ran and bumped into someone, but she looks forward as she sees the three leap to a building as she gets very angry.
Weiss: No! They got away those criminals!
Yang: Uhh... Weiss?
Weiss looks down seeing a girl with orange hair, green eyes and looking very creepy. Weiss sees that and quickly gets up with a shock face and startled.
Girl: Sal-u-ta-tions!
Ruby: Um... hello.
Yang: Are you... okay?
Girl: I'm wonderful! Thank you for asking.
The team look at each other confused.
Yang: Do you... wanna get up?
Girl: Yes!
The girl made a kip up, making the girls take a step back after that.
Girl: My name is Penny! It's a pleasure to meet you!
Ruby: Hi Penny. I'm Ruby.
Weiss: I'm Weiss.
Blake: Blake.
Yang: Are you sure you didn't hit your head? *Blake hits her with his elbow in her side* Oh, I'm Yang.
Penny: It's a pleasure to meet you!
Weiss: You already said that.
Penny: *paused* So I did!
Weiss: Well, sorry for running into you!
Ruby: Take care, friend!
The four of them walk away, further enough for her not to hear them.
Yang: She was... weird...
Weiss: Now, where did that Faunus riff-raff run off to?
They look to the front and Penny was in front of them, she was extremely creepy.
Yang: *while Weiss looked confused and scared back and forth* Oh, I'm really sorry, I definitely didn't think you heard me!
Penny: No, not you. *walking towards Ruby* You!
Ruby: Me? I-I don't know. I, what I, um, uh...
Penny: You called me 'friend'! Am I really your friend?
Ruby: Uuuum... *the other girls were denying her request, she was way too weird and very uncomfortable* Y-Yeah, sure! Why not?
The three of them were in shock and landed upside down comically.
Penny: Sen-sational! We can paint our nails, and try on clothes, and talk about cute boys!
Ruby leaned towards Weiss which they had the exact same conversation.
Ruby: Oh, is this what it was like when you met me?
Weiss: No - she seems far from coordinated.
Yang: So... what are you doing in Vale?
Penny: I'm here to fight in the tournament.
Weiss: Wait, you're fighting in the tournament?
Penny: *saluting* I'm combat ready!
Weiss: Forgive me, but you hardly look the part.
Blake: Says the girl wearing a dress.
Weiss: It's a combat skirt!
Ruby: *appearing by Weiss's side* Yeah! *Weiss gives Ruby a hand and Ruby low-fives it*
Weiss: Wait a minute. If you're here for the tournament, does that mean you know that monkey-tailed... rapscallion? A girl with long black hair? A bull horned emo guy?
Penny: The who?
Weiss: *while showing a drawn picture of the Faunus* The filthy Faunus from the boat!
Blake: Why do you keep saying that!?
Weiss: Huh?
Blake: Stop calling him a rapscallion! Stop calling him a degenerate! He's a person as well as Athena and Y/N!
Weiss: Oh I'm sorry. Would you like me to stop referring to the trash can as a trash can? Or this lamppost as a lamppost?
Blake: Stop it!
Weiss: Stop what? He clearly broke the law and Athena and Y/N are part of it. Give them time; them probably join up with those other Faunus in the White Fang! Plus you hate Y/N! Now you defend him?!
Blake: *clenching her fists* You ignorant little brat!
Blake walks away while Weiss was now getting angry.
Weiss: How dare you talk to me like that! I am your teammate!
Weiss follows Blake as they start to argue like girls. Yang appear by Ruby's side while they watch the argue.
Yang: We should probably go...
Penny: *appearing behind Ruby* Where we going?
Ruby groans.
Weiss: So you admit it! The White Fang is just a radical group of terrorists!
Blake: That's not what I meant, and you know it!
Scene moves to Athena, Sun and Y/N in the night were in a roof as they had a plate of pie, each one eating it.
Athena: Neptune turned white?
Sun: He touched water and he just... froze! I've seen him pale but he just turned pure white snow. Literally!
Athena laughs as well as Sun while Y/N kept eating but showed a smirk. Y/N looked at the watch and sighs.
Y/N: Athena. We gotta leave.
Athena: Oh right, we have to come back by 8. Sorry Sun, Beacon rules.
Sun: It's fine. There's a tomorrow!
Athena: True.
The two hugged as Y/N jumped off with Athena waving at Sun and also jumps off. Scene moves to them walking at Beacon halls, until they heard some arguing.
???: I don't understand why this is causing such a problem!
???: That is the problem!
Athena walked closer, recognizing those voices.
Athena: Weiss and Blake? They're arguing?
Athena knocks the door, as the arguing stops, as Ruby opens the door.
Ruby: Oh, hey guys.
Athena: Is everything okay?
Ruby: Yeah; is a team meeting so... can we talk-
Weiss: The criminals. They're here.
Athena: Criminals?
Y/N: What are you talking about?
Weiss: Don't play dumb. The rapscallion friend of yours... Athena!
Athena: Sun?! Are you calling him my friend a rapscallion? A criminal?!
Athena enters the room with Y/N behind and she closes the door very furiously.
Weiss: Yeah. You two seem to have a story it seems-
Athena was already face to face with Weiss and she was pissed.
Athena: Call him one more time a rapscallion or whatever is running through your dirty rich ass mind and I'll show rich snow ass bitch.
Weiss: Are you threatening me?!
Athena: No. I'm warning you, Schnee.
Weiss: You're gonna fight me for saying the truth? He broke the law, he literally assaulted a cop and you defend him? You realize you are defending someone who is probably with the White Fang and already here for Vale, and you still defend him?! What are the chances that he isn't one?! The Faunus of the White Fang are pure evil!
She pointed at Y/N who growls.
Blake: There's no such thing as pure evil! Why do you think they hate Humanity so much? It's because of people like Cardin, people like you, that force the White Fang to take such drastic measures!
Weiss: People like me?
Blake: You're discriminatory!
Weiss: I'm a victim!
She gets up and walks past Athena who was incredibly angry still but glared at Weiss who was looking outside.
Weiss: You want to know why I despise the White Fang? It's because they've been at war with my family for years. War, as in actual bloodshed. My grandfather's company has had a target painted across its back for as long as I can remember. And ever since I was a child, I've watched family friends disappear; board members executed; an entire train car full of Dust, stolen. And every day, my father would come home, furious. And that made for a very difficult childhood.
Y/N: Oh please stop with your dramatic backstory.
Weiss looks at Y/N very pissed.
Y/N: You act like you've suffered more than anyone! That you deserve everything! Weiss Schnee leader of Team RWBY! Weiss Schnee greatest warrior in Beacon! Weiss Schnee most important person of Atlas MY ASS!!! You're self egocentric bastard. You talk like you've suffered so much! But you don't realize you're people is the reason why Faunus are like this! Why The White Fang is like this!
Weiss: My family? Your people started this war!
Y/N: Your family destroyed MINE!!! Your father killed my parents! I was there! I saw it with my own eyes how your fool of a father blow their heads off and you know what he did?! He considered that a warning to us!
Athena: Y/N, take a deep breath-
Y/N: No! She has to pay!
Weiss: For what?! For something that isn't true? Your parents death might not have been by accident of whoever did it! But if they were White Fang, they had it comi-
She didn't finish what she started... until she felt a hand hit her cheek... a backhand, as she was sent to the books... breaking it. Everyone was in shock after that, they saw Y/N literally slap the living hell of her.
Yang: WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT?!!!
Weiss slowly stood up, her cheek red as she looked in shock and even tears from pain.
Weiss: Y-You hit...
Y/N: DAMN RIGHT I DID!!! And if I really wanted to! I would've blown your fucking head off!!!
Athena: Y/N, you didn't need to hit-
Y/N: Oh so she gets to talk ill about my parents?! They did everything they could so I could live in those damn caves of Atlas! Jacques treated then like nothing, like pets! They're blood is in his hands and now on hers!
Ruby went to help Weiss who was still shocked. They all look at Y/N... shocked... afraid... angry... defending Weiss... all except Blake and Athena.
Y/N: You're all defending her... her family caused so much pain to my people... and you all have the disgrace to defend her? Is it because I'm a Faunus that I'm the villain here?! Is it because she's a lady?! Is this what it means to be a Faunus?! Thrown to the side, humans defending their own kind! We Faunus deserve out place in this damn world!
Yang had glares at Y/N with Ruby helping Weiss still, as Athena took a step back and Blake by the bed afraid. The doors open showing Erwin and Cachari. Y/N felt extremely betrayed, some tears running down.
Y/N: This is what I get to be a Faunus? Huh?!
He grabs his gloves, not opening them... he broke them, ripped them, as he showed his hands, the top as Weiss's eyes widen. His hands were scarred by heat... both of them... they both had the Schnee logo in them.
Y/N: This is what I get?!
Everyone but Athena were shocked... Y/N never showed his hands... this was why.
Y/N: You know how it feels? Having the person who is part of the family that created me here at Beacon? A month passed and I couldn't kill her? End my pain? End my Vengeance and I couldn't? Because she was always surrounded by everyone? I had no one... and I couldn't throw my people at war. But she... I could've killed her in my first night... I could've end the nightmares, end everything about me! But even I can't do that.
Athena: Y/N... please... calm down.
Y/N looked at Athena panting as she puts a hand in his face panting even more.
Y/N: You're so lucky that you have fame... protected. You talk you had a bad childhood... but I didn't even have one... and my brother took so many punishments because I was weak... and because of your family... even with that anger and pain... I can't risk my people.
Y/N walked away pushing Cachari out of the way as he cleaned his own tears. Cachari looked at Athena and later at Weiss.
Cachari: What happened here?
Blake ran after Y/N with Weiss looking down with heavy breathing. Until they saw something... she released her bow... and they saw her car ears... a Faunus. Y/N was outside as he looks down already outside, looking at the sea... he grabs a gun from his holster and slowly puts it directly... at his mouth... he pulls the trigger... but the bullet doesn't come out... cause there isn't one. He didn't even flinched, he had died once... he wasn't afraid... in fact, he would be glad to actually do it... he couldn't live without them...he still couldn't. More tears dropped as he takes his gun from his mouth and drops it in the ground, he puts a hand in his face panting heavily, until he felt a hand in his back and looked behind seeing Blake kneel by his side. He looks down hands clenched... Blake looks down slowly seeing a knife falling from his sleeve.
Blake: I'm so sorry.
Y/N kept looking down but tilted his head at Blake's direction.
Y/N: I called you a coward... I don't even know if I was referring to you... or myself. I'm sorry...
Blake: You were right, I was a coward... and I abandoned our cause.
Y/N: It was for the best...
Blake looked to his hand, as she grabs it and clenched it as he begins to cry again. Blake hugs him while rocking him a little... as Y/N's foot, under his boot started to show some black veins as scene turns black ending the chapter.
