Yae was showing y/n her electro powers, and y/n seemed to be impressed as they have never seen anything like that
ei entered the room and the two stopped to stare at her
"Miko, what are you doing?"
ei asked, a bit concerned
"There's no need to be alarmed, I am just showing y/n how my electro vision works"
Yae chuckled
"Mom, how did you get your powers?"
y/n asked
"Mom?"
ei was confused on why y/n was calling Yae 'mom'
Yae chuckled again
"It's too complicated, I'll explain how I got them when you're older"
She said as she pat y/n's head
y/n just stayed silent
"Miko, you still haven't answered my question, why did they call you 'mom'?"
Yae hesitated for a moment
"Well, I told them to of course, since they're also my child having them call me 'miss' feels weird"
ei sighed
"In that case, you can call me mom too, y/n"
y/n just nodded in response
Yae then realised
"But if they call us both mom, then how will we know who they're asking for?"
The three stared at eachother for some time
"How about you call ei mom, and call me mommy"
Yae said to y/n
y/n seemed to be confused
"Who is ei?"
they asked quietly
Yae pointed at ei
"She's ei, I'm Miko"
y/n nodded signalising that she understood what Yae was talking about
A few minutes passed and the trio stood there in silence, the only sound being the birds outside
"Mom...can I play outside?"
y/n asked
ei and Yae stared at eachother
"Well, I'm going to be busy today but I'm not so sure about your...'mommy'"
ei said
"I have to attend to some matters aswell..."
Yae said
They stood there in silence
"I can ask Sara to take y/n out"
ei said
ei went to get Sara while Yae stayed with y/n
Footsteps could be heard from outside the room, then Sara walked in
"The Shogun asked me to take y/n out today"
She said looking at Yae
They both didn't have a good relationship, but it wasn't a bad one either
"Of course...go on y/n"
Yae said as she gently pushed y/n toward Sara
y/n happily ran over to Sara and hugged her
Sara picked up y/n and walked out the door not allowing Yae to speak any further, which made Yae a bit mad but she let it slide this time
Back with y/n and Sara, they were making their way to Inazuma city
"So, y/n what do you want to do today?"
Sara asked, a bit nervous
"I want to play with other kids..."
y/n said, their vocabulary wasn't as good since they were only 4 and they weren't taught how to speak that well
Sara nodded and put y/n on the ground
"Don't go too far, stay somewhere I can see you and don't accept anything from strangers"
y/n nodded and began making their way toward a girl who looked to be 6
The girl noticed y/n and turned to them as they stopped in front of her
"Hello! who are you?"
The girl asked
"My name is y/n..."
they said in a hushed tone
"Its nice to meet you y/n, I'm Yui, I hope we can be friends!"
Yui said waving her hands around
y/n smiled and nodded
"Hey wait a second...aren't you the Shogun's child? I heard about you!"
Yui said making sure no one else heard her
y/n shrugged
"I don't know who that is...I only know my mommy, my mom, miss Sara, miss Ayaka and mr Thoma"
y/n said
Yui laughed
"You're funny y/n, I like you!"
y/n didn't know what Yui found funny about what they just said but decided to ignore it
y/n wasn't paying attention to what Yui was saying as they noticed a girl and a floating baby passing by
"I will be back, wait for me"
y/n said and Yui nodded
They began walking behind the mysterious people, not aware that they broke one of Sara's rules:
'Stay somewhere I can see you'
Luckily Sara got distracted by some kids who were causing trouble
"Paimon thinks we should go to the place Thoma told us to go to!"
Paimon, the floating baby, said
"You...you know Thoma?"
y/n being y/n decided to scare the two by appearing out of nowhere
The duo, startled, turned around and the blonde girl pulled out her sword in defence
"Huh? a child?"
Paimon asked
"Hey kid, who are you? where are your parents?"
The girl asked quietly
"My mommy and my mom are busy...I'm with miss Sara"
The duo was shocked
"Sara? You mean THE Kujou Sara?!"
Paimon asked almost screaming
y/n seemed to get scared and tears started forming in the corner of their eyes
"Should we bring them to Thoma, Lumine?"
Paimon asked again still slightly screaming due to the shock
Lumine sweatdropped as she stared at y/n
"Paimon...you should-"
She was interrupted again by Paimon
"Maybe they know where the electro archon is!"
Paimon was already shouting at this point
y/n was now starting to cry
"I-I don't-I don't know who that is!"
They said in tears
"AHH! WAIT PLEASE STOP CRYING!!"
Paimon shouted at the child
"What's going on over here?!"
Sara ran toward the trio
"AHH RUN"
Paimon shouted and Lumine picked up the crying y/n as they both started running
"GET BACK HERE!"
Sara shouted but they continued to run
When the trio reached the place Thoma said he'd be at Paimon huffed
"Phew, that was close, now that we have the kid with us, maybe they can tell us where the Shogun is!"
Lumine stared at Paimon
"They said they didn't know who that was...but they know who Thoma is
Lumine said
Thoma opened the door and noticed y/n
"y/n?!"
Thoma shouted
y/n looked up to see Thoma and ran toward him, hugging his leg
"Mr Thoma! they took me from miss Sara! help me!"
Thoma picked up y/n and angrily stared at the duo infront of him
"This is the Shogun's child, my lady and I found them yesterday, why did you two take them?"
The duo gulped
"I'll give them back to Sara once they calm down, I hope this won't ruin your reputation"
Thoma sighed as he led the duo inside the tea house
y/n had fallen asleep in Thoma's arms and he was getting ready to take them back to Sara
"Again, we're really sorry about this"
Lumine said in shame
"You may have to say that to the Shogun once she finds out about this, she probably knows already...I'll try my best to explain this to her"
Thoma said as he adjusted y/n in his arms
He then walked out the door, slightly shaking due to the fear of explaining the situation to the Shogun
