Kazutora grabs the jacket hanging on the rack before wearing his shoes
"Kazutora?.."Kazutora stops from walking towards the door and facing the owner of the voice
"Where are you going?"
"I'm just going somewhere, Fuyu. See you later"he smiles before exiting the house
He contemplated if he should use his bike but decided to just walk, it was still early anyways so he thought that it won't be that bad to walk as a sort of exercise for him
He looks around the neighborhood and city as he pass by buildings, getting nostalgic about the fact that some buildings and places had changed in the future
He never got to admire them before since he was so busy with everything that's been happening ever since he arrived in the past
He looks at the time on his phone as he reaches the apartment building before entering, being greeted by the person behind the counter in the lobby as he passed
Kazutora enters the elevator after greeting back and arrived at his designated floor, he stood in front of the door and knocked before unlocking it
Once he opened the door, he was greeted by Kakucho, who was leaning on the wall in the living room
"Hey.. You guys ready?"Kazutora greets with a smile on his face as he looks at Kakucho then at Izana, who still has that look on his face
"We're ready..."Kakucho replies, seemingly unsure what to call him
"You can just call me aniki"Kazutora informs before looking at his phone"Shall we?"he asked as he turns to towards the door
The two followed him out of the apartment and building, stopping once they reached outside
"Do you guys want to go to the mall or?.."Kazutora turns to look at them with an eyebrow raised
Kakucho looks at Izana, who just starts walking, Kakucho follows and apologizes to him, to which he waves off as he follows behind them
They reached the mall and Izana simply picked clothes, with Kakucho being the one who carries the bags while Kazutora just pays for it, not bothering to stop him
Kazutora offers them lunch once the time indicates that it's almost noon and they nodded, entering an all too familiar restaurant to Kazutora, when he and Chifuyu often go to the mall
"This way please.."a waiter guides them towards a table and they follow
Kazutora just orders his usual without looking at the menu, while the two teens scanned the menu in front of them
Once they ordered, Kakucho started a conversation with him after the waiter left
"Why'd you take us in, aniki?"Kakucho asked looking at him
"I guess you could say I saw myself in you guys"he looks at them to see their reactions
"Don't get me wrong, but if it weren't for my friends and family. I would've been homeless after I left juvie"hearing this, Kakucho looks at him with widened eyes, while Kazutora noticed the subtle scowl painting Izana's face when he mentioned the word family
"You've been sent to juvie before?!"Kakucho asked and he nods
"Is it really that surprising?.."he asked confused with a tilt of his head
"No, no.. I just never thought you'd be someone who's been in juvie"Kakucho denies quickly
"I get that a lot"Kazutora confirms with a chuckle
It's true though, when he met people for the first time and they get to know him, they get surprised or shocked when he mentioned the time when he got sent to juvie whenever someone asked if he already went to jail or any sort of facility, some people tell him he doesn't look like someone who's been in facilities of that sort at all, while others mostly never contact him again once they hear of this
Kazutora think its because people might be scared for their lives, specially after knowing that the person they're with got sent to something like that, he never takes it to heart though, he knew why people might react that way, specially after they know of his time in there
Though he never specified why and how many years or months he's been in one, except for things like what it looks like inside and what things he could do while being in there, what you should expect and what you should never do, when someone asked him questions about it
He guessed that's the reason why some people look at him like some sort of plague before never seeing them again, he thinks its because of the thought that entered their minds, trying to find a reason for why he was sent there
He guessed things like murder, a psychopath, rape and other cases that leads to negative thinking lead them to look at him like that and avoid him for life
"How many years?"Izana's question brought Kazutora back to reality, surprised that his actually interested in this topic
"I was there for ten years because of something I committed"he replies as he leans his elbows on the table, his head resting on top of his palms
"How old were you when you got sent there?"Kakucho asked
"I think fifteen?.. I'm not sure though, it's been so long since I last recalled any memories that I've made there"Kazutora replies with a shrug
Even though Kazutora was sent there for something bad, he met people who mostly just wanted their life to turn for the better, just like he did when he was still a teen
He actually wonders what those guys have been doing now, just like the guys he met when he got there the first time when he was a kid
He might try and see if he could find and catch up with them after christmas, he hadn't contacted them in the past since he was so busy with fixing his own life that he almost forgot about them, if not for the two teens asking him about it
Their chat was interrupted when their food arrived, though Kazutora saw how Izana still wanted to ask something but refrained from it
Kazutora didn't ask since he didn't want to anger him and want to befriend him, he knew how some people tend to hide their pain from other people, he could testify as someone who does exactly that, since he still keeps secrets from Chifuyu
Things he didn't have any courage to share to Chifuyu, including how he had wanted to turn back time and prevent the past, his past from happening, he would rather not let Kazu go through the same things he did
Knowing how awful and painful it feels to think of yourself as someone who's a burden, someone who's feelings and opinions don't matter
He shook the thought off his mind and focused on the food in front of him, along with the two teens, he smiled and placed more food on their plates when he saw the look their giving
"Get as much as you want, I won't mind"he smiled and continued to put more food on their plates
After they ate, he took the two around Yokohama, since he hasn't been there before, they were in the pier, looking out towards the sea while munching on dorayaki that Kazutora brought before arriving in the pier
He might take Chifuyu here once the issue with the Black Dragons get resolved, he just hopes Takemichi's plan will go smoothly
"Aniki, your phone's been ringing for five minutes"Kakucho snaps him out of his thoughts making hin pull out his phone
"Sorry, I gotta take this"he excused himself as he answers the call without looking at the caller
"Tora, where are you? I've been looking all over for you"
Chifuyu's voice was heard on the other line of the phone
Kazutora lifts his left arm to check the time on his watch, realizing its late when he noticed the time, he looks up at the sky, seeing it already dark
"Sorry, Fuyu. I got distracted, I'll be home in an hour"Kazutora replies while looking at Kakuchi and Izana's direction
"Alright, I'll see you later"
Kazutora hangs up the phone as he walks back to the two teens
"I'll see you guys tomorrow, I gotta get home before I get scolded"Kazutora admits as he looks at the two teens, who looks at each other upon hearing his excuse
"See you tomorrow then, aniki"Kakucho smiles at him and he nods
"I would've escorted you guys back but I don't wanna stop your enjoyment short"Kazutora looks at his watch before looking at the two"If you guys need anything, you know where to find me"he adds before walking away with a wave of his hand and a smile on his face
It was exactly a few minutes before the clock would strike eleven pm, Kazutora wasn't sure if Chifuyu will scold him once he enters the house
It's been a few years since Kazutora first returned home late and he got a mouthful of a scolding from Chifuyu that night, he wouldn't blame him, since Kazutora that day was so distracted with a lot of things
He decided to go out of the house that day since he was bored and Chifuyu was in Toman's headquarters to report to that bastard Kisaki, since Takemichi that day also acted rather rashly, after finding out that the order he sent his bestfriend, Atsushi Sendo, known as 'Akkun' do was to kill his ex-girlfriend Hina
Kazutora was surprised when he heard this from Chifuyu that night, although he hasn't talked or met them face to face, he was sad to know both Akkun and Hina died that night
He even went as far as to attend their funeral with Chifuyu, once they could get ahold of the news of their funeral
Ever since he got sent to jail after killing Shinichiro, realizing his mistakes after mistakingly killing Baji, he realized how important life is and that no one should take them for granted, ever since then, he treats his own and other people's lives with importance, not wanting to repeat his mistakes
After Chifuyu scolded him though, Chifuyu didn't let him sleep on the couch like he usually does whenever he was upset with him, and instead dragged him in his room and cuddled him to sleep, he figured Chifuyu needed an anchor to delay his plans and prevent him from acting rashly, since they've only just started formulating their plan on stopping and exposing Kisaki at that time
Kazutora snaps out of his thoughts when he heard the shuffling of the door handle on the other side, he looks at the handle to see it shake and turn, before it opens and Chifuyu's form greets him on the other side of the door
"Hey-"Kazutora greets but Chifuyu pulls him inside the house, preventing him from completing his sentence
Chifuyu drags him to their room and closes the door, once they made it inside, Kazutora tilts his head to the side as he looks at Chifuyu before deciding to guide him towards the bed
Once they were close enough, he turns to Chifuyu, only to be hugged by him, Kazutora despite being surprised made sure his back landed on the bed and wrapped his arms around Chifuyu
"Everything okay, Fuyu?"he asked as he started combing Chifuyu's hair
He felt his chest vibrate and he lightly chuckles, Chifuyu's face was currently buried in his chest, while his arms were wrapped around Kazutora's torso
"I can't understand you, Fuyu"he explains as he continues to comb Chifuyu's hair
Chifuyu turns his head before answering him"I just miss home and everyone"he mutters but Kazutora still heard him
Now that Chifuyu mentioned it, Kazutora never really had time to think about the others back in their original timeline
Although he much rather stay here since their timeline isn't exactly on the brighter side of things, he just hopes he can change the future of not just Takemichi but everyone else that's involved in Toman in the future, one way or another
"I know, Fuyu.. Me too"he replies and makes eye contact with Chifuyu, when the male lifts his head to look at him
"Do you think we died or we just disappeared?"Chifuyu asked after a moment of silence, while placing his hands on Kazutora's chest to lift himself up a little
"I doubt we're alive in our timeline, since I got into an accident and you got shot by Kisaki"Kazutora replies making Chifuyu furrowed his brows, when he heard the name Kisaki leave Kazutora's mouth
Now that Chifuyu mentions this, Kazutora was also wondering if their bodies just disappeared after they appeared in the past, even if they already died
"Don't mention that asshole!"Chifuyu frowns before he buried his face on Kazutora's chest
Kazutora laughs, while Chifuyu's arms around him tightened after they returned from their previous position, he smiles before continuing to comb Chifuyu's hair
"I'm sorry, I won't do it again"Kazutora wraps his arms around Chifuyu"Goodnight Fuyu"he adds
He tightens his hold on Chifuyu when he receives a hum of agreement from the male

Hello~ sorry for not updating
I'm currently in a place where internet is limited since the signal is low and unfortunately, I'm not the only one who's using the internet in this place
I'll be here for a week or more depending on how long my mother decides to stay here
I'm currently in the province with my mother's side of the family since I haven't seen them in years
