(A/N: I decided to delete the first 2 chapters and rewrote the foundation of the story, the first 2 chapters were actually written on a whim so it might have harmed the whole thing. There will be major changes in the chapters mostly how my writing is, Kiyone's personality and Ichiro's including his past.)

Asari Ichiro POV

Humanity.

I must say that they are very interesting.

For the past years I've been satisfying my curiosity it's the first time I've been entertained so much. The way they think, adapt, fight and pretty much everything they do. They all fascinate me.

Since the time I was born it 'that' place I was aware that I'm not human, only my outside appearance is. Although I was bored in 'that' place I must thank the humans that took care of me there. Without them I would have been weak, a mere prey to these people, maybe I would not have existed in the first place.

But enough of the past, although I'm what people consider a monster on the inside, observing humans and society for the past years have been fruitful. Adapting to different situations have already become a norm for me, so copying the actions of most humans have made me into a perfectly average teenager. Although most of the human acquaintances that I met always tell me that I lack common sense, but I just ignored them.

I'm currently waiting on a structure that is called a bus stop and wearing a school uniform consisting of a red blazer, white shirt, and darkish green pants. Its definitely not my style and I prefer black outfits. Well I guess I'm what most people call an emo. It sounded cool and all but after searching it's meaning on a device called a laptop, I got irritated so much that I broke it, not my fault though.

After waiting for a few minutes a rectangular vehicle appeared in my vision, it was the bus. I do see them many times during my observations but entering one is a different experience. After cherishing the feeling for five seconds I started observing the occupants on the bus. All the seats were already waiting so I just went to the corner of the bus which will be a place with no disturbance. Although I would have liked to have a seat, standing up is not a problem, this much won't tire me much anyways.

I stood there in the corner without any disturbance, just peace and quiet. I would love to have this peaceful atmosphere continue on but looks like fate wants to fuck me up in many ways.

"Excuse me... Could you give up your seat?"

A voice belonging to a girl called out to me. Who in the hell has the audacity to interrupt my peaceful moment?! As I was about to glare to the human who interrupted me I realized that I wasn't the one that was called so I retracted my glare before anyone notices, my glare is quite scary after all.

She was talking to a well-built boy with blonde hair who was... Admiring himself on a mirror? Is he attracted to himself, wow can humans actually have sexual intercourse with themselves? My neverending curiosity rose up again and I started to observe the boy keenly.

"That's a priority seat. I think you should let this elderly lady sit here."

The girl spoke to the boy while gesturing to the elderly lady who is standing but people can tell that she is struggling.

The boy seemed to finally stop admiring himself on the mirror and looked at the girl who called him out.

"My, my, pretty girl. While it may be a priority seat, there is no law requiring me to relinquish it. You want me to give up my seat just because I'm young? Nonsense, pure and simple. Even if I'm young, standing consumes more stamina than sitting. Why should I do something so detrimental with no benefit to myself?"

......

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Amazing!

The way he talks is as if he's superior to everyone, how laughable! I'm trying to really hold my laugh in as I don't want to attract unwanted attention to myself, I think the boy should be a comedian in the future. Although I must praise his crispy clean argument against the girl, his attitude made most of the surrounding people on the bus uncomfortable, not including me of course. All the things he mentioned is right, the law doesn't require young people to give up their seats to the elderly, but alas humans are mostly hypocrites.

"I think you'd be contributing to society. And this elderly lady seems to have problems standing upright."

The girl spoke to the boy again, continuing the argument. But, contributing to society, huh. That is the most dumbest phrase I have ever heard as of now, contributing to society not knowing how rotten it is to the core. I look forward to society's self destruction.

"I have no interest in contributing to society. Besides.... What about those sitting in the other seats? The difference between priority seats and others are rather trivial to me."

The boy countered to the girl again with a logical argument, the girl seemed to have frowned but it soon disappeared in a tiny moment, but unnoticed by me. The elderly lady next to the girl reassured her that she's truly fine but her current appearance says so, the girl notices this and speaks to the crowd in the bus.

"Excuse me! Would any of you be willing to give up your seat?"

The girl seemed to be beaming with compassion, determination, and courage on her words to the rest of the people on the bus. But to me, it's filled with malicious intent and lies that somewhat irritates me a tiny bit.

Lies, a great weapon to wield when it's in the right hands. Society itself is created through lies, politicians lie for their own benefit, teachers lies to their students on getting a amazing job because of high grades, the whole country might even be created with the use of lies. It's such a fascinating concept.

It can create peace, conflict, and most importantly.... Destroy.

Such is what lies can do, it made me be able to destroy it after all.

The girl who seemed to be a kind girl on the outside is just a facade, a mask to cover up the lies. And the statement the blonde boy said made my suspicions increase more. She could have just asked everyone in the bus after all but she focused on him instead.

Though everyone in the bus didn't feel necessary to move, most of them do have guilt written on their faces. So they seem to be holding it in, but someone will soon give up their seat to the elderly lady so I observed around the bus to see the people's reactions, and two people caught my attention, especially one.

A black haired girl that's reading a book seems to not care about anything around her at all. And a girl with brown hair and brown eyes, she is honestly beautiful, maybe the most beautiful girl I have seen yet, but her beauty is not what caught my attention, it was her eyes.

Eyes that doesn't seem to shine, embodiment of gloominess, and lifeless. Like she had no reason to continue living but she has little sparkles that seemed to be curiosity. It was nostalgic to see such lifeless eyes, especially on humans, and her sparkles of curiosity got me interested. I can't figure her out at all not like the blonde boy and the girl who wears a mask. This is exciting for me, it's like trying to find out a mystery, and I'm somewhat the detective.

*****

The bus soon came to a stop and most of the students stepped out of the bus, including me. As I stepped out of the bus my eyes shined in excitement, a rare emotion that I feel of I am being honest.

A big campus is seen, it was my school the Advanced Nurturing High School. When I was jus strolling around the city and observing humans some random old man started to have his interest in me, which is quite weird in the first few days, he was somewhat being creepy. But soon I found out that he was the chairman of this school, he recommended me into this school because somehow my eyes remind me of someone he knows. I didn't know why he wanted me to attend this school but he said it was gonna be a very interesting for me, so I accepted his proposal.

After admiring the structure in front of me I started walking to the school, while doing so I passed through the girl again, she seems that she was talking to the black haired girl earlier on the bus. I glanced at her for a little but soon retracted my gaze and continued my walk.

I truly hope that this school or that girl will be able to satisfy this neverending curiosity of mine.
