(Dakotas POV)
It was nice meeting so many fans. It had really been a while since I had done an event like this, and as luck would have it, from the stage where I would sit, I could watch Ryan and his Dad play the VR Wayvern game a few booths down. I was in between pictures, when I heard him scream.
"I am Emeline of Navarre!"
"We can free the king!" His dad yells standing next to him also playing the game. "Ready your sword! There may be trolls!" I looked to Kendall over at my merchandise table and we laughed for a few seconds at the two of them swinging imaginary swords at nothing, I also noticed Veracity, who was there because she won the junior inventors competition, taking a video of them. I'm definitely asking her to send me that video later. I continued taking pictures, occasionally signing the bottom of someone's skateboard. Kendall and I took a break back in my room.
"You know how famous I feel? I feel like you!" Kendall says as we walked back to my room.
"Why is that exactly?" I asked.
"People asked me to sign their stuff too." She answered.
"Shut up seriously? That's awesome!" I said. "Someones stepping up their Instagram game."
"You know it." She laughs as we walked into my dressing room. We left the door open for some fresh air. "So I didn't get to talk to him almost at all but how was meeting Ryans dad?"
"He was about as surprised as I figured he would be." I answered. "What's funny is he was about as stunned as Ryan was when we first met."
"Father like son." She chuckled.
"Dude that's what I said!" I laughed. "That look on his face absolutely made my day.
We hung around the room for a little bit, I had a donut or two as we talked. Kendall was in the middle of telling me about and idiot co-worker when the door to my room just slammed shut when neither of us were near it.
"That was weird right?" I asked.
"Yeah, I would classify that as weird." Kendall says as we both stared at the door. I got up from my chair and walked to the door, turning the handle. Locked. I put the pin in the electronic lock to unlock it, even though neither of us actually locked it, tried it again and it still didn't work.
"The pins not working." I said. She shrugged and pulled out her phone while saying,
"I'll call the front desk and see if they can,"
"Wait, shh." I said leaning my ear towards the door.
"What, I don't hear anything," she says
"Shhhhh!" I said still trying to listen. I could hear some sort of explosions from the other room, occasionally hearing somebody scream. Eventually there was a really loud bang and screams, loud enough for my sister on the other side of the room to hear.
"I stand corrected." She said getting up coming to the door. "What was that?"
"I don't know but I think I know somebody who might." I walked back to my bag digging it my phone, calling Ryans phone.

Me and Marks day with our Dad had started going a tad bit south when Harris's new drones showed up. At first we thought they we after me, but for some reason they're after Veracity. Now all the nanites from inside are in the rest of the tech, and eventually the incompatible pieces of tech just explode. The three of us were know hiding under a table trying to figure out what to do when my phone rang when Dakota was calling me.
"What's going on out there?" She asked.
"Long story short, all the Tech in this room is after Veracity for reasons we aren't sure of right now." I started to explain. Obviously Mark and I know why, Veracity doesn't though. "And we need to figure out what to do. Wait, where are you?"
"Kendall and I are locked in my dressing room in the back." She said. "The door won't open. Wait Veracity's there?"
"Yeah why?" I asked.
"Put her on!" She said quickly. He turned the phone to Veracity. She listened to her talk for a few seconds before a light bulb went off in her head,
"You're right my buzzkill! If I could crank it up I might be able to end all the tech at once! But it's back at my booth." She says. She handed the phone back to me.
"All right were going to get you to your booth. I'll keep you updated D, but we gotta go." I said before hanging up and we took of running.
I wasn't sure why, but a girl dressed as a Wayvern character gave us a shield as we ran through the sea of rouge tech. I tried to use my powers on some of it but not a lot of it worked, Mark blocked things with the shield. Mark continued on to Veracitys booth and the two of us got circled by a bunch a lawn mowers and tractors that I couldn't stop with my powers. Mark made it to the booth and threw the buzz kill over all the machines and Veracity was able to catch.
"Uh there's not enough power, there's just to many of them!" She says messing with the device. I used my power to crack up her buzz kill a little more, and we're finally able to end all the devices.

(Dakotas POV)
I thought about trying to climb through the air vent, before realizing they were way to small for me to fit through. We had no choice just to sit around and wait. We both perked up when I heard a click coming from the door. I immediately got up running to the door typing the pin in throwing the door open running back down to the hall to the door leading to the main expo room. I ran into a circle of tractors and lawn mowers that were surrounding Ryan, Veracity and now Mark.
"Are you okay?" I asked running into a hug with Ryan who was happy to see me.
"We're okay." He said.
"You okay, Veracity?" I asked her.
"Yeah, thanks to the two." She looked to Ryan and then Mark, but he was gone. "Where'd Mark go?"
"Oh! Found him!" I said spotting Mark through the ocean of people, clearly openly flirting with girl. "He's trying to show you up Ry."
"He'll have to try harder than that to out do you." He said as we made our way out of the circle of machines.
"Ryan!" We heard his dad call from behind us.
"It's probably best if you wait for me back at your booth." He said. "I kinda screwed up."
"Hey so no more." I said backing away. "See you later. Hey Veracity! Send me that video!"
"What video?" She asks. I just nodded my head to Ryan who was confused at the situation. "Ohhh! Got it. Will do!"
"What video?" Ryan asks.
"Don't worry about it." Veracity and I said in unison.

I walked back to my booth with my sister and we started packing up the left over merchandise and the rest of our things as the Expo was basically over. I had accepted the fact that Ryan and I would probably not get to hang this weekend with his dad back in town but I completely understood. My sister and I were getting some pictures on the stage when I noticed, Ryan his brother and his dad walking up to us.
"Hey." I said hopping of the stage taking a look at the pictures. "Saw you flirting with a girl Mark, what's her name?"
"Georgia." He says as Kendall passed me a box of stuff. "I got her number."
"Okay, I see you." I said turning back to them. "Well, you three could be a big help if you helped us carry all our stuff back to the car."
"Of course." Ryan says taking the box from me. "You still want to hang this weekend?" He asks as I hoped back up on the stage to go get more stuff.
"No, I mean I'd love to but you should hang out with your dad while he's here." I said.
"Why don't both of you come over for dinner with us he?" He asked. I looked to my sister then looked back to his dad when he said.
"It was my idea." Ryan nodded and said,
"Yeah it was, besides moms making her chicken pot pie and-"
"Stop right there!" I interrupted. "You had and me a chicken pot pie. We'll be there."
