Only he knew how to make her dream by making her dance.Draco on his side was dancing with Parkinson, one hand on the Slytherin's hip, the other in the pocket of his tuxedo. He watched Hermione dance with the other Weasmoche. He was green with envy. How dare he put his stupid hands on his beautiful girl's hips?! Either way, she was gorgeous. She was the light that illuminated the room. He saw her spinning in Weasley's arms and would so much like to be in the redhead's place rather than have the other jug on his arm.
The song ended and he saw Hermione change dates. She was now dancing to another Christmas song in St Potter's arms.
Ginny meanwhile went to join Blaise at the bar. She had to talk to him, it was becoming vital for Hermione and Draco:
"Zabini! she cried, trying to block out the music.- What do you want from me, Weasley?- You really have to do something!- What ?- For Hermione and I suppose for Malfoy too.- What are you getting at ?- Hermione is really not well. She eats more, laughs more, cries constantly. And the day they broke up, he farted everything in his room except their huge picture on his wall. She's still there...- Yeah, he's basically not well either. Luna walked over to Ron and placed a tender kiss on his lips. Ron's eyes widened in surprise but responded to the kiss. If Luna could make him forget his love for Hermione then so much the better.Draco and Hermione looked away from each other:" Do you want to Dance ?- With pleasure.They danced entwined.
It was good to find this.Meanwhile, Ron was giving mouth to mouth with Luna. Ginny and Blaise savored their victory as they gazed at the couple of their best friends and Harry looked at Draco and Hermione with a tender little smile.
The end of the ball came and everyone had to go back to their dorms. Hermione returned to Draco's room and they celebrated their reunion as it should.
