"WHY DID I EVER TRUST YOU?!" I screamed at my old friend, who joined the group of guys who bully me. "WHY DID I THINK YOU WERE A GOOD GUY?!"
"WELL I'M NOT GONNA SIT AROUND AND BE FRIENDS WITH A WEIRD QUEER!!" He yelled.
"THEN GO! I DON'T WANT YOU NEAR ME!!"
"FINE!!" He stormed off to his class.
Mikey hugged me.
We have been friends for about 2 years now.
He's my only friend now.
"He doesn't deserve to be your friend" he said. "I know" I whispered.
Mikey took me outside and sat with me under a tree.
He caressed my back and let me cry.
"I'll keep you safe, okay?"
"Y- you don't have to"
"Y/N, I'll never let them hurt you, I promise"
I hugged him, feeling his warmth against me.
He hummed quietly, holding me close to him.
"Do you wanna go to my house?"
"Y-yeah"
Mikey took me to his house.
"Hey Mikes why you home so early?" His brother, Gerard, asked.
"Y/N needs time off and our house is closer to the school" Mikey said.
He took me to the couch and wrapped a fluffy blanket around me.
"I'll make us some hot chocolate"
"Thanks" I said.
He came back with 2 cups of hot chocolate and gave me one.
"There you go" he smiled, sitting next to me.
I sipped on the hot chocolate and rested my head on his shoulder.
He rested his head on top of mine.
I heard my phone vibrate in my pocket and looked at it.
Unknown number: "You're a fucking worthless ugly fag and I hope you die soon. No one's ever gonna love you"
I blocked the number and put my phone down, pulling my knees up to my chest and sighed.
"Why did I ever think I was worth something. I'm a dumb ugly faggot. That's why everyone hates me. I'm fucking worthless"
"I don't think you're worthless" Mikey said, playing with the sleeve of his hoodie. "You're b- beautiful and important to me"
"You don't mean that" I sniffled.
"Yes I- I do"
I looked up at him, my tear stained cheeks turning rosy pink.
His face was pink and he looked nervous.
He smiled at me and gave me a small kiss.
I wrapped my arms around Mikey's neck and kissed him again.
He kissed back, hugging me.
I smiled with his lips on mine and felt him do the same.
I cuddled up next to him and he held me.
"You're safe" he whispered, playing with my hair. "I love you"
