It's been a week since skye and chase mated and both were eagerly waiting in Katie's office to see the results if she was pregnant
As Katie walked out, skye and chase face with excitement
"So? What's the news, Katie" skye asked eagerly
Katie smiles at the couple
"Well I'm happy to say skye you are indeed pregnant"
The two of them jump for joy to which skye jumped into chase and now the two of them were both on the ground
Katie let out a small chuckle
"Congratulations you two I know how much you deserve this"
"Thanks, Katie," chase said
"But we still have one problem " skye replied
"Right" chase knew that the two of them haven't told anyone that they were trying to have pups right now. All the attention was on Everest and marshall as the two did recently tell the others,
Apart from jake and ryder since they already knew about Everest being pregnant and how they were planning on getting married soon
"So let's just tell them I'm sure they won't mind " chase explain
"No, it's not just that but it's your son chase. I feared that he might not like the idea of us having pups" skye said rubbing her shoulder
"I get where you're coming from skye since he's adopted and since you just became a part of the family recently he might feel left out and now we're having a pup" while giving his girlfriend a light tap
"That's what I'm stressed about chase what if he thinks he is left out of the family because of our pup," skye said
"I'm not so sure I knew he would be fine with you and me dating. Yet I don't know about this either"
The two stop and think until chase thinks of an idea
"Skye why don't we talk with him and explained what going on"
"That sound great, we can go do it right now," skye said
"Ok, Katie thanks for your help "
"You're welcome and take care you two and remember skye take it slow ok" Katie explained
"Will do"
The two made it back to the lookout and saw Marshall and Everest relaxing outside
"How's the new mom" skye said trying to tease Everest
"Hehe soon skye but I'm good but still can't wait for our pup" Everest expressed
"Are you ready to be a father marshall?" asks chase
"Well, I'm a bit nervous I've never raised a pup before, unlike you chase " he laughed
Everest just gives him a light nuzzle "dont worry Marshall I'm a bit scared too. I've never been a mom before it will be my first. However, I know the two of us can handle it "
"Thanks, love"
"No problem," as the two turned back at them
"So what's happening with you two"
Chase and skye look at each other until skye nods to chase
"Ok so since you two are our best friends and probably were gonna find out soon " chase they look at skye
Skye smiles "well I'm also pregnant"
The husky and dalmation look at each other in shock then back to their friends
"What!? Skye I thought you were just going to wait out your heat cycle " Everest questioned
"Well that was only a thought but me and chase talked about it and decided to try for a pup"
As she and chase shared a light nuzzle
"But why don't you tell the others yet" Marshall said
"Um we didn't want to intrude on all the attention you were getting "
Chase pointed out
"Well I dont mind" Marshall reassured his best friend that he was fine with them intruding, Marshall was never a fan of all the attention they were receiving
"Yeah me two and it will be exciting to have our pups at the same time "Everest's tail was wagging rampant she wouldn't mind as well and it will be fun to have pups at the same time
"Oh for sure but please do not tell the others yet we want to tell them" to which her friends nod back
Chase lets out a smile "well thank you two"
"No problem chase but I do have a question about your son chase. jr How will he feel about all of this, since you know he's adopted"
Marshall could see a bit of nervous on Skye's face he could tell she was a bit nervous and for chase well he just rubs the back of his head
"Me and skye are going to talk to him about this and explain what's happening and see how he feels"
Skye lets out a sigh
"And that's what I'm worried about"
"your scared that he might not like that idea because he may feel left out. Since he's adopted and may think you will love your real pup more than him" the husky laid out
Skye paws at the ground and mumbled "Yeah I am "
"That's why we have to explain this to him" chase replied
"Well I'm not sure what he may say but I think he will understand" Everest while looking at the couple
"Hope so"
"Well we catch you two later"
The two of them head to chase. jr who was outside chase pup's house
"Hey son can we talk to you for a bit" chase called out "ok dad but can we make it quick I was going to meet up with lia at Katie's place
" lia?" His dad asked
"Oh right, Katie has a pup who helps her around," skye told
"Oh but anyway son me and skye have to tell you something," chase said looking at his pup who had a confused looked
"Um? Sure dad what up" the pup replied "well son you know how I and skye are now dating right"
"Yeah, why?" He replied still confused about what his dad is trying to say
"Well there is no way to say this but me and skye are having a pup"
Chase closed his eye waiting for his son to yell or do anything but nothing when he opens his eyes
"Wait? You're telling me skye is pregnant" he tilted his head
"Yeah and we wanted to tell you this. To see how you feel about it" skye ask
"So how do you feel about all this son," his dad asked
"Dad how do you think I was going to act, I'm happy that you and skye are together, and now going to start your real family," he said with a smile but chase could tell his son was hiding something
"Real? Family? What do you mean son" chase asked
"Well dad it's no secret that I'm not your real son and when your pup is born. It will be the start of your real family because no matter what I can't ever be like your real son and you probably love that pup more but I'll understand why" chase. jr said quietly
Chase walked over to chase.jr
"Son you may feel that way but no matter what I will always love you as my son. So what if you've adopted. The day we met was the day where my life changed. I know how hard it was for you and what you went through but for me, I'm glad we met you really helped me when I needed it the most"
Chase embraces his son, and chase. jr gladly accepts
"No matter what I will always love you" chase whispered "thanks dad" his pup whispered back
The two stay like that until they look at skye
"There is still one more thing I need to do" as chase walked to skye
"Skye there is something I want to ask you," chase said
"What is it" she replied back
"Well since you are part of our family now I was thinking would you like to be his new mom"
Skye faced was initially filled with shock but quickly to a big smile on her face
Chase. jr walks up to skye and chase
" a new mom? It's been a while since I had one" he blurted out
Skye smiled
"Of course and when your sibling is born I hope you are ready to be an older brother"
"Of course skye... I mean mom sorry that will take time to get used to that" chase. jr said
"Dont worry me too" skye added
Chase. jr and skye share a quick hug, and chase gives them both a nuzzle
"Dad can I go now to play with lia "
Chase lets a small laugh
"Sure son just be back before dark"
"Will do"
After he left for Katies to play with lia
chase and skye both lay down in their pup house
"See it wasn't that bad" the German Shepherd remark
Skye rolls her eyes
"Funny chase but I'm glad it all worked out in the end"
"Yeah me too but I'm happy to have a family with you skye I can't wait"
Later
It's been two months and today is the day marshall and Everest have gotten married and invited all their friends and Everest is soon to give birth
"I can't believe it we are actually engaged marshall," Everest said happily while looking at her new engagement collar
"me too and I can't wait soon for our pup to be born" as the two walked while nuzzling each other to their friends who were celebrating at the lookout
"Well isn't the happily married couple," skye said
"Yeah congrats you two" chase said to his best friend
"Now I wonder who's next to get married," the husky said while observing her friends
"Don't look at us dude" Zuma said
Ella just rolls her eyes
"Zuma says he's not ready and I can wait but not for long "ella said jokingly
"still too young " rubble replied
When Everest got to rocky and gasket
"I'm not so sure for us, gasket and I are unsure" rocky explained
"Yeah besides I'm not ready to settle down at least a fully"
Then to tracker and sweetie
"I don't think I'm ready at least yet I soon do want to but as of right now I think tracker can wait," sweetie remarked
Tracker just smiles and kisses her on the cheek
So when she finally gets to chase and skye
"Well since your asking"
Chase then pulls out a box and opens it to reveal an engagement collar
Skye gasped while covering her mouth with her paw
"Chase?"
"Skye when you disappear it hurt me a lot and I thought I would never recover. However when. You came back I was unsure how to feel but I'm glad your back. You have not only helped our friends but helped me too. skye I love you so much so will you marry me"
Skye then tackles him to the ground and attacks his face with kisses all over
"Of course, I will marry you," she said with tears of joy
The couple share a passionate kiss and hear cheers from their friends
Ryder walks up to the two and pets both their heads
"I'm proud of the two do you"
"Thanks, ryder it's been one crazy journey," chase said thinking back to how much has happened in the past 4 years
"So when the wedding day huh skye," Everest gleed
"Well it will be soon, I will let you know but there is one more thing" she smiled
"Well you see Skye's belly she did not just gain weight, she's pregnant with my pup" chase smiled
Everyone's faces except for marshall and Everest we're filled with shock
"Way to go dude" sums cheered
"Thanks, bud" chase told
"Congratulations chase," said the jungle pup
"Thank you and thanks for everything "
"You're welcome" he replied
"Thanks all of you but today's isn't about us
it's about marshall and Everest so let's get back to that "
So they decided to get back to it celebrating their friend's marriage
Later on in the day
Chase and skye were relaxing outside their pup house
Skye was napping, while chase was watching over her until she slowly woke up
"What's wrong?" he asked his mate
Skye felt her belly and being to breathe heavily
"It's time!" As she panted heavily
"What!? But you still had a couple of days left!?" He replied
"Chase we have to get it Katies!"
"Ok I'll get marshall he can take us in his ambulance
Chase quickly ran to fetch marshall but lucky for him marshall was not far
Once they turned the corner the two ran into each other
" marshall! good thing I ran into you skye has gone into labor!!" He exclaimed
"Wait skye too!?" He shouted
"Wait did Everest go into labor too!?" He asked
"Yeah she did I was going to get my ambulance truck"
"Ok you take both girls in your abundance and I will ride with you to Katie's "
"Got it"
They quickly got everything together and made it to Katie's who was already waiting for them
"Ok quickly set them down here," Katie said
Katie and marshall got to work and chase stayed along Skye's side through the entire process
After an hour Everest and skye gave birth to healthy pups
With Everest having 2 while skye just had 1
"Congratulations you four," Katie announced
"Thank you Katie for helping us," chase told
"It was no problem"
She then left them alone so they could enjoy their time together
"Marshall look at them?" Everest said while holding them
"Two pups huh, one girl and a boy" he smiled
"What should we name them" Everest looked up at her mate
"Well I was thinking about the girl how about snowflake," he said
"That's perfect for her and for the boy I was thinking frost for him"
"I like that too"
With chase and skye
"Chase look at her" skye said while feeding her
"She beautiful skye just like you," while giving skye a nuzzle
"I can't believe that we're together and we have a family now, what should we name her?"
As her daughter tries to walk
"I don't know I've not really thought of any names" while he lays next to the two do them
"How about Skyler," she said
"Yeah I like that name skye"
Chase looks over his new daughter
And whispers "I promise I will always love you and keep you safe"
After spending time they get the all-clear from Katie saying they can head home
Once they made it back they had their friends waiting for them
"Wow they are perfect I'm happy for you four," ryder said
"Look how tiny they are," gasket said "yeah they are" rocky replied
"Zuma aren't they so cute" ella squeaked with joy "yeah they are," her boyfriend said
"It makes me want to have one"
She said causing Zuma to blush
"Dad?" Chase. jr whisper
"Come here son I want you to meet your new sister" as he held her
Chase. jr walks up to her and smiles even though he is not related at all but he will care for her no matter what
"So amigo you had your pups before the wedding " track chimed in "yeah I was excited about your wedding skye, " sweetie told
Skye lets out a laugh "don't worry just give us a couple of days we will have it"
"That's ok just take all the time you need, " tracker added
After hours it finally became dark with everyone asleep except skye and chase
Skye and chase were in their pups in their new pup house that ryder along with gasket and rocky built
"Look at them sleep" as he looked over his pups
"Yeah one big old family never thought it would happen this way"
As skye snuggled next to him
"It's been a wild journey, hasn't it? since the day you came back huh" while cozying up with his mate
"It sure been but I'm glad and soon we are to be married "
"I can't wait chase"
*yawn* "I guess we should go to sleep," skye said while rubbing her eyes
"Yeah we should "
Chase and skye share one last kiss before smuggling around their pups and falling asleep
3 days later it was skye and chase's wedding day
"Do you skye take chase to your be your husband"
"I do"
"And do you chase take skye to be your wife"
"I do"
"Well then if anyone has any objects you may now speak but if not you may kiss the bride"
The share kiss which is followed up by cheers
They end up celebrating until noon with all their friends
"How's the new married couple," Katie said
"We are delighted that I and chase are married after all of this" skye said while looking at the engagement collar
"So skye how's being a mom now," ryder asked
"It's a bit weird at first but I'm happy to be a mommy now"
Skye knew one day she would have pups and was always scared but now she wonders why was she ever sacred in the first place
"Yeah, I felt weird when I first became a dad to chase.jr when I adopted him but you get used to it" chase described
"But look at marshall and Everest there still getting there. However, they'll be fine" chase remarked
As she looked at them with Everest laying around her pups with marshall next to her trying to figure out how to clean them
Later skye and chase were laying on a grass hill with their pup Skyler. while chase .jr is playing with lia
"Look at those two " skye said
"Yeah, they seem to be having fun together,"
"Something tells me our son has a crush" skye giggled
"Heh maybe but if so that's great "
"Chase I wanted to say thanks for everything you did all these past years," she said
"Me? Why?"
"Well I know what you went through but you never gave up on helping and helping our friends
as well how you kept looking for me no matter what" skye looked at him
"I should be thanking you for coming back. Just take look at what you did skye. You helped our friends and me, you brought us back to the way we were. Yet we still are not called for mission still this isn't bad. and if you didn't we probably would've to stay the same"
The two do them were looking deeply into their eyes
"Chase "
"Yeah"
"Thank you for still loving me after all these years even if was my fault" as she leaned closer
"I've never stopped loving you skye no matter what"
The two share a kiss but this one felt special with all their passion in it and after separating they look over their family whit the sun in the background
The two of them went through a lot to get where they are but in the end, they finally did it. And got what they always wanted
