Tim let out an unearthly howl of grief when his sister died again, and my heart wrenched at the sound.
Lila was laughing, and Jason had tears streaming down his face. "You... you MONSTER! IM GOING TO KILL YOU!!" He roared, lunging forward with a pissed Nino, Damian, and the rest of my kids.
But before they got far, the ground shook, making everyone stop.
A soft glow came from Marinette's body in Tim's arms, and the red glow got brighter and brighter until it was a blinding white.
Thunder boomed in the air so loud it rumbled in my chest, and lightning lit up the sky in a huge chain-like web, and her body started floating in the air and above the crowd, making all of us, even Lila, look up in shock and curiosity.
The black clouds created a funnel, and a brown beam shot down from the sky and hit Marinette completely through her chest and going into the ground, and Talia and Diana gasped next to me. "Impossible..." Talia said as an red beam joined the brown one, followed by orange, yellow, green, light blue, navy blue, dark purple, magenta, pink, white, gray, and a deep black, all of them going through Mari, and I watched as a strange symbol -miraculous box symbol yall- in red appeared around her body, and in the corner of my eye, I saw Ra's look completely shocked and awed at the sight of this, and Babs was recording this on her phone.
A wolf's howl ripped through the air, and I saw a ghost wolf come from Marinette, and the canine was on fire, and I'll admit that it looked pretty amazing.

Damian looked excited about the wolf, as did Jason and Cass, and the huge black wolf let out an earsplitting howl, and started growling at the enemy as another beam shot through the assassin, making her body jolt and her long hair floated around her as she was set on her feet on the ground. The thunder boomed louder, and red, black, white lightning was dancing on the girl and around, and the the wind was blowing insanely strong.
Jason pulled Damian and Tim into him, and Dick did the same with Steph and Cass as Tim held on to Babs. All the lighter people were being held by the heavier people, and I was holding onto all of my kids. Damian, Tim, and Cass shifted to hug my legs and sides, Damian grabbed Duke as he was about to be blown away and joined the group hug, and Dick, Babs, and Steph joined as well, and Jason ran after his crew as they were struggling and starting to get blown away.
I watched as Rose started to get thrown off as Jay grabbed into Roy and Starfire, but he let them go and grabbed Bizarro's arm and caught the assassin with his legs and pulled himself back into the Outlaws and held all of them into him and stood against Bizarro, who held onto the vigilante's and kept them from blowing off. I saw a protective look on Hood's face as he held his gang together, and the motherly look was so obvious. Dick smiled at his little brother and took a photo of it, and I pulled Marinette's friends into the group hug, but Nino shoved Chloe towards us as he got blown away.
Tim screamed his name, and a second later he had Damian's grappling gun in his hand and shot it at the other assassin, who grabbed onto the hook at the end of the line, and Tim pulled him back to us and held him tightly. "Thanks. I owe you one," Nino said, hugging Tim back and joining the hug, and I wrapped my arms around all of them protectively.
I looked at my youngest daughter again, and she was standing like a damn rock through the wind, though her hair and clothes were blowing madly.
Lightning struck her, and my kids and the Outlaws watched as huge red wings that looked to be about 14 feet in wingspan snapped out of her back at full length, and they had electricity dancing on them.
And then, her eyes snapped open, revealing glowing white orbs on white fire.
My kids all looked shocked, and Lila and the enemy army had similar expressions on their faces. I didn't blame them. I was shocked too.
Diana, Ra's, and Talia and Slade, who had arrived when Mari died, all had a terrified but amazed look, and I watched as the ground started cracking and splitting apart.
"The Guardian is pissed," Talia and Wonder Woman said in a fearful unison, and Mars slowly turned to face the enemy.
"Lila Rossi, you must pay for your crimes of stealing the miraculous and using them for evil, and for your crimes of abusing and bullying the Grand Guardian of the Miraculous Box. Hand over the miraculous, or we will take them back from you by force." Marinette said, but her voice was not hers, but instead the voices of what sounded like hundreds, and ghosts of animal themed people stood around the assassin with a power holding aura. There was a ladybug, black cat, peacock, butterfly, turtle, rabbit, bee, ox, pig, dog, snake, goat, mouse, rooster, tiger, monkey, Fox, horse, and dragon, and the ladybug themed one stepped forward.
She looked exactly like Marinette and Tim, and the woman was glaring at the Italian, and the cat was growling with the tiger, dog, and fox.
The spirits then turned to look at the enemy. "You are only getting one more chance, Rossi. Hand over the miraculous." The fox said, and Lila laughed. "Um, no. You can't defeat me even if you tried. I'm going to finish what Gabriel Agreste started, and I will get the last two miraculous, and I will kill Maritrash once and for all!" She yelled, and my kids except Marinette growled at her from their wolves.
I could sense Mari's anger from over here, and the girl took a step forward. The spirits one by one went into her, and my youngest stumbled from how much power she was holding. Dick broke out of my protective arms and ran forwards to her as she swayed, and he caught her in his arms as she passed out. Damian, Tim, Cass, Nino, Chloe, and Jason stood around her protectively, and the wolf by Jason, who stood in front of the group with two of his guns pointed at Lila and a dark glare on his face.
"You have no idea how much I want to kill you, you psychotic jackass. I'm going to make you beg for death for what you've done to my baby sister." He snarled, and the wolf barked angrily in agreement. But before the teen could move, Marinette woke up and got to her feet, her eyes no longer white or their bluebell color, but instead an icy blue.
My daughter looked beyond murderous as she grabbed her katana, folding her wings but not putting them away, and she began walking towards Lila with nothing but power, authority, and danger.
Nino, Tim, Chloe, Alix, and Jason flanked her, the wolf behind them. The wind stopped blowing until it was just a gentle breeze, and suddenly everything became eerily silent.
At least, until Marinette spoke.
Not in English, but Italian.
She said something to Lila in a deathly calm and quiet voice, and Lila shrunk down to normal height to stand in front of her with a smug glare, and the Fox like girl said something back.
Jason growled at the villain, and Nino put a hand on his shoulder in warning, a glare of his own showing. Marinette looked emotionless, Tim mirroring her, but something told me that she was not calm inside.
Tim came to stand at his sister's left shoulder, and I could tell that that was his place with her. Always on the left, and Nino stood on her right.
Mari and Lila kept arguing, until the youngest Drake had apparently had enough and lunged for the Italian. The wolf went inside of Mari, and the two girls shifted to their wolf side and fought viciously and ruthlessly, neither holding back from the other.
The fight was over in 10 minutes, with Red Renegade pinning Lila to the bloody cement with her powerful jaws clamped around her throat, intent on killing her.
But after a moment, the assassin let go of her throat and stepped back, looking down at her with an unreadable expression. Chloe and Nino gave her a glance when she sat down, but the girl ignored them and continued to stare at Lila, until Tim came forward with a calm look, but knowing and authoritative was on his face and in his eyes.
"Hand over the Miraculous of the Mother Box, Lila Rossi. You will not be given another chance to peacefully hand the Miraculous to the Grand Guardian and Great Holder of the Miraculous. Your crimes that you shall be punished and charged with are only getting worse for you the longer you refuse to fold and surrender. This is your last chance. Return the Miraculous to the Guardian, or I shall be privileged under the order of the Guardian of the Miraculous to perform execution and behead you for your crimes that you have committed." He said, his gloved hand on the katana he had strapped to his hip.
Lila didn't move for several long moments, but eventually she shifted back to her human side and was on her knees. Marinette shifted back and joined Tim at his shoulder calmly.
We all silently watched as Rossi dismissed the akumas and took all of the miraculous off and handed them to Marinette, who let them be placed in her hands patiently and quietly.
After that was done, Tim took a few respective steps back, but still in guarding distance, clearly prepared to attack, though having a calm and relaxed form.
Not even Damian had a stance like that.
As the many jewels were placed in Tim's little sisters hands, the respective kwami came out of the jewel and sat themselves on her, Tim, Jason, Chloe, Alix, and Nino, all glaring and growling at Lila.
As soon as that was done, Mari spoke in a language that I didn't understand, but Damian, Talia, Diana, Ra's, Tim, Chloe, Nino, Alix, and the kwamis all seemed to understand.
The said understandees paled at what she said in clear fear, and Lila began to glow a bright orange, and she started screaming in pain and writhing on the cement as Mari continued to speak, followed by most of her classmates.
Tim, Chloe, Nino, and Alix stared at the Italian in pure satisfaction and pleasure at her pain, Jason joining them, and after a moment, all the screams stopped, and the girl was still at Red Renegade's boots, completely motionless.
It took me a minute to realize that Lila Rossi was dead.
The red assassin blankly stared down at the remains of the liar, and was as still as the corpse. Tim silently hugged his sister, who hugged him back, and she trembled visibly in his embrace, and they just stood there, just like that, the silence booming loud.
The large crowd of Gothamites started to disperse, and Jason went up to Joker. Tim turned his head to watch them, and I watched as they shared some words before shaking hands in agreement, and Joker started walking away. But Jason called him back, and my second eldest gave Joker a good punch to the eye, nose, and jaw, and the clown glared at him, but froze when Tim gave him his Red Ghost glare from behind Jason's shoulder, unknown to the crime boss, and the madman left quickly with the other villains.
A second later, a large swarm of ladybugs went all around Gotham, resetting everything and bringing people back to life, taking people home and healing everyone, and after it was over, I found my family and Marinette's friends in Wayne manor living room.
Tim scooped Marinette up into his arms and silently retreated upstairs, and my kids slowly trickled away after them at their own paces, all tired and all silent with the exception of yawning.
I went to my own room and simply collapsed onto my king bed, instantly falling asleep and not bothering to change out of my Batman suit or take my cowl off. I was too tired for that to care.
