Revali (POV)

I panted and looked at the discusting menace that made up Calamity Gannon. He had now slowed down a bit and looked around in anger, obviously mad he was losing to us and was about to be finished.

Everyone simultaneously looked at Link, who was sliding down on the floor. He then began running forward to the beast. "You can do it, little guy!" Daruk yelled. My body began to fill up with fear. Not fear of the beast. I was no longer scared of that. I was scared for Link. I clutched my bow silently praying for him. "Dont screw this up!" I yelled.

Link glanced over at us with the faintest smile on his face. It disappeared imedeatly and he ran, jumping on some fallen concrete for leverage.

He jumped into the air and grabbed his sword in both hands holding it above his head. He cried while falling down slashing the beast in half. I breathed in a hard breath, tensing up as he slid towards us with his hand on his knee. He quickly looked over to Zelda and nodded at her. She nodded back.

She put her hand up at the beast calmly looking onto its eyes. The triforce started glowing on the back of her hand. The beast swung its hand back and attempted to punch her, but her power surged around her like a sheild.

I watched at the Calamity winced and started feeling the affects of the goddess power. It writhed in pain and suddenly disappeared into nothingness. It was completely gone.

Zelda turned around and everey one smiled, nodding and laughing in approval. Link finally stood up and put the sword back in its sheath. Zelda looked over to him. I did as well. Thats when I noticed that he was only standing on one foot, his right one lifted up slightly from the ground. Odd.

He looked dazed but finally smiled and nodded to her. Zelda smiled brightly and gave a nodded to him. It was like their secret language. I stared at Link in awe. I didn't actually think he was going to pull it off.

We started walking outside, Link walking a little bit behind Zelda who was leading everyone. I payed attention to the fact that Link had a slight limp. It was small and hardly noticeable but it was there. Thats when I noticed a glowing coming from Zeldas hand. She stopped and looked at it. It was part of the egg- or rather, Terrako.

We all turned around to see the leaders from the future glowing in a white light. They looked down at themselves. "Well then, it seems the time has come." Riju spoke.

I looked over to Teba as the other champions said goodbye. I walked over to him "This has been enlightening." He started "I even got to see the face behind the champion." He said. I began wracking my brain to find something nice to say but I ended up just scoffing while smiling at him. Close enough I guess.

Zelda then walked forward "I will never forget today's miracles." She started looking around "How all of you fought by my side. And the trials we overcame together. Ill treasure... our friendship always." She said smiling. That's when they all disappeared, leaving us alone. It was crazy to think that if they hadn't came, we would be dead right now. Trapped inside the divine beasts.
___

I stood in Akkala Ancient Tech Lab with the champions, Impa, Robbie and Purah, Zelda, and... Link.

"Yeahh hold your horses champ 'cause... well... I don't think this is working at all." Purah groaned at Robbie. "Was there... something we didn't do?" Zelda sighed sadly. "You've done all you could... the results surly will reflect that." Urbosa comforted. I wanted to say something nice so I tried "Calm down... im sure the things just stretching out its nap." I internally slapped myself. Why couldn't I just be nice? "Yea... im in agreement with Revali." Purah said. Thank goodness.

They then turned Terrako to Link and I could have sworn that its eye lit up just in the slightest. That was until Impa went infront of it "Well? Come on, you! Wakey-Wakey right now!" She said impatiently while hitting it lightly on the head. "Impa! Stand back." Zelda said after looking at it. She walked in front of it and heald its face.

Suddenly, its eye started glowing and everyone gasped. Impa hit it on the head and this time, it hit her hand back and started scolding her. I smiled slightly while everyone else laughed. I was indeed happy for her.

It looked over at Link almost saying hi, when Zelda walked over and picked it up. Tears fell from her eyes and she hugged it. "Welcome home... Terrako." She said after parting from it.

Apon seeing Zelda crying, it started playing that song. I heard people calling it "Prinsess Lullaby." I thought that it did suit it well.
___

"Meet in the dining hall at 8:30 for dinner. For now you are allowed to do whatever you please." Zelda said. She then began walking away -probably to the sanctum- with Terrako.

Everyone glanced around with confused looks. Shouldn't we be talking about... well how we just defeated Gannon? What our next step was? Well no matter. I wasn't complaining one bit. I needed little down time.

The other champions went off together to who knows where. I saw Link going down one of the hallways leading to the back of the castle. He still had that limp. It looked a little worse now. Not that I cared. But I was curious to see what was wrong.

I walked up behind him smugly "Hm... well I suppose I should praise you for actually pulling it off. I was quite surprised, you know?" I said looking down at him. Not that I was expecting an answer. He glanced at me but kept walking. "But it does seem that you are a little weaker than meets the eye huh?" I continued. He glared at me. I glared right back and stopped walking "Dont give me that look. Did you really think I wouldn't notice that limp you have there?" I gestured to his leg that was once again slightly off the ground.

He glanced down and put his foot back on the ground. He was obviously struggling not to show any signs of pain. His efforts did not help, however. "Not that I really care, but I would like to see what happened. I mean, you are supposed to be invincible, right?" I taunted. He rolled his eyes and continued to limp away. I followed him deciding this was kind of fun.

Once outside he sat down and gave me a questioning look as I sat with him. I rolled my eyes "Go on." I said, pointing to his foot. He scoffed and shook his head before lifting his foot onto his left leg. He rolled up his tan trousers to above his ankle. My eyes widened. It looked a lot worse than I had originally thought. It was purple all the way around. I looked over to link and he shrugged, got up, and walked off. Well tried his best to.

I stared at him for a moment "H-hey! You should get that looked at!" I said. He turned back and shook his head. I scoffed "Fine then! Dont. I don't really care anyways." He smiled and nodded before limping to the edge of the moat and paragliding away. I rolled my eyes and began to fly the opposite direction. How dumb could one person be? It will get worse and he could- wait. Why am I pondering over... him? I don't care!

I groaned and flew up higher to the top of hyrule tower. There wasnt too much destruction from what I could see. There was fallen rocks and broken walls but it could have been worse.

I smiled as realization hit that was actually defeated Gannon. He was gone. And I was part of the efforts! I mean of course I was. And I hated to admit it but I was proud to have fought along side Link. He should feel special to have fought with me. I was the great revali after all.
____

I walked into the dining hall to see that everyone else was already here. Zelda smiled when she saw me "Alright! Everyone is here- wait. Where's Link?" She questioned. No one answered and she sighed "Revali could you go look for him?" I sighed "But-" "Please." She interrupted. I nodded and walked out of the room. Where could he be? I should first look behind the castle. Thats where he was going in the first place.

I flew out of a broken window, slightly scratching my wing in the prosses, it wasn't too bad though. I flew to the top of the castle before going down to the open feild behind it.

I flew around for a while before I found him. My stomach flipped and I flew down as quick as I could. He was laying down in the grass with a Lynal Corpse next to him. I landed down "LIN-" I stopped as I relized he was just asleep. On his side with his sword in one hand and the other resting under his head. I sighed and laughed a bit at myself for thinking Link would be defeated by a stupid Lynal.

I shook his shoulder and he shot up, looking around surprised and almost a little scared. "Woah there its just me." I said. He relaxed and looked at me, then the sky, which was now laced with stars. He stood up quickly "Yeah its time for dinner. 'Cmon." I said begining to walk away when he suddenly pulled me back. I glared at him "What." He pointed at my wing which was bleeding slightly from the glass. "Oh I cut it on some glass trying to fly out of a window." I shrugged. He frowned and reached into a pouch hanging from his hip. He pulled out a glass bottle with a pink drink inside.

He heald out his hand signaling to give him my wing. I did reluctantly and he opened the bottle with his teeth. He dumped half of it onto the cut and gave me the rest in my other wing. He signaled for me to drink it. I looked at him skeptically and he rolled his eyes. Then he started rubbing the potion on my cut. I winced a bit and he gave me an apologetic look.

He pulled away and nodded, before walking off to the castle. I frowned and ran after him "Hey! How should I know if this isn't poisoned or not hm?" I said. He sighed and heald out his hand. I handed him the drink and he took a sip, before handing it back to me. He gave me a "See?" Look before nodding his head to tell me to drink it. I sighed and drank the pink stuff. It tasted sweet.
____

We walked into the dining hall and everyone's heads turned. Zelda smiled "There you are. Come, sit. We need to discuss things." She said gesturing her hand towards two empty seats that were across from eachother. The rest of the table and been broken. This part was still standing surprisingly.

Me and Link sat down. He had rushed over to the seat facing the entrance so even though I wanted to, I couldn't sit there. Then he slumped down in his chair and stared at his fingers. Thats odd of him. He usually stared at Zelda awaiting for her command or for her to speak. Its not like I pay much attention though. I don't care.

She began to talk as some people served us. I couldnt believe that they were working even after all of this. I started eating the soup that they served. It was something with pumpkin in it. I didn't hate it.

As Zelda was talking, I unwillingly tuned my attention to Link. He was picking at his nails and nuckles. I noticed he had picked too much on his pinky finger and it started bleeding slightly. He put it in his mouth not really reacting to it, as he continued to stare into nothing.

I stared at him. Hylia knew he was a dull person but even this was a bit much. He looked so depressed sitting there. He pushed his food aside. He should eat. Especially after today. He might get hurt.

Not that I really care.

"And that leaves... Revali and Link." Zelda said. I looked over to her. "Since you guys didn't volunteer for anything, you will be working on this room together." I sighed. Thats what I get for not paying attention. "We will be starting tomorrow. All of the proper tools and other necessitys will be in your assigned rooms by 9am. Please be ready by then, alright?" She said. Everyone nodded in union. Except Link, who had only gotten the jist if what was going on.

Everyone then had a talkative dinner. I said a few things. Like normal Link said nothing. But it wasn't like normal. He would usually be paying attention at the least but now he just took small bites of his soup and stared at nothing.

Everyone began to leave to go to their rooms that had been prepared. Ironically, mine and Links were across from eachother in a pretty secluded area of the castle.

I looked at him as we walked down one of the few hallways that had been untouched. "Link did you get any of what Zelda was saying? You didn't seem to be paying any attention." I said crossing my wings. He nodded, not looking up at me. I glared at him "What is up with you? This is a little weird even for someone like yourself." I said. He looked at me and smiled slightly. I barely even noticed it. He shook his head and looked back down the hallway. I scoffed and looked forward.

We finally made it to our rooms. I looked over to him "Be up by 7 okay? Meet in the dining hall." I said. He nodded and started walking to his door. He stopped and turned around and waved goodbye to me. I had to stop myself from smiling. I waved back and walked into my room. Why was I about to smile? Thats stupid.

I layed down in my bed. I was more comfortable in hammocks but I could get by. I stared at the ceiling and sighed. Tomorrow was going to be a long day.
