Lumine: "I guess, the trip to Liyue will take a long time."
Musashi: "Unless we keep going, we can reach Liyue in one day."

Paimon: "But even so, we can enjoy our trip. We do have to get to Liyue quickly. But, on the way there, maybe we can learn something."

[Musashi watched the girl closely. She wears a brown and gold leotard with red ribbons in the front and back, the back being larger and holding a bell. She wears a gold belt, which she uses to hold her Pryo Vision. Also, she wears brown fingerless gloves and boots, as well as a braided red ribbon around her left thigh and right arm and adhesive bandages crossed in an X on her right knee. As that girl pointing out of the bushes, All three of them slowly comes out from that bushes, with extra caution... And, they all just see...]
Lumine: "Huh?"
Musashi: "That's just a bunch of boar..."

Lumine: "Um... Are you a hunter?"
Musashi: "Or perhaps... Are you an adventurer?"

Paimon: "Are we your food testers now?"
Xiangling: "Come on, try it!"
[The three of them slowly tasted Xiangling's dish. And when they chewed, the mouths of the three of them seemed to explode with taste.]
Musashi: "Man, this is good!"
Lumine: "I... I agree! This food is so delicious!"

Lumine: "So, this is Springvale."
Musashi: "This place looks peaceful."
Paimon: "This place is quite comfortable to live in, if you ask Paimon."
[And when they got there... They meet Draff, the Leader of Springvale.]
Draff: "You must be Xiangling."
Xiangling: "Sorry, Mr. Draff, this was all my fault."
Draff: "I heard the whole story. And now that you're here in person..."
Paimon: "Oh! he's gonna let her have it!"
[Musashi and Lumine tries to defend Xiangling.]
Lumine: "Mr. Draff! Violence is not the answer!"
Musashi: "If you're looking for a fight, bring it on, old man!"
Draff: "...Please help me promote my meat!"
[And turns out, Draff is not going to hurt Xiangling, but want her to help him with something.]
Xiangling: "Eh?"
Musashi/Lumine: "What?"

[Receiving praise from Draft, Xiangling couldn't help but chuckle while blushing.]
Xiangling: "Hee-hee, you're too kind, Mr. Draff. I just try to cook things that are cheap and cheerful."
Draff: "With a top-notch chef cooking top-notch cuisine with top-notch meat from Springvale... Our reputation would spread far and wide."
Xiangling: "Hmm... I don't know... I only ever think about how to make tasty dishes... I never limit myself to specific ingredients, and I don't know the first thing about promoting anything."
Draff: "You use boar meat all the time anyway, surely? I can't see what the issue is."
Xiangling: "The issue is... What would you think if I added a bit of slime condensate?"

Draff: "Well, since you feel so strongly about it, forget it. But it really is a pity..."
Musashi: "Wait, Xiangling!"

[They all manages to catch up to Xiangling and try to talk to her.]
Paimon: "You know, we did come to apologize... Couldn't you be a little more flexible?"

[Judging by her words, Musashi, Lumine and Paimon thought that Brook must be a good chef.]

[Brook is shocked to her core because the girl she is speaking now is none other than Xiangling, the pro chef of Liyue.]
Brook: "It's really you! Well, I guess you do know what you're doing when it comes to cooking meat then. As it happens, I have one of today's prime cuts remaining. So tell me, how would you cook this?"
Xiangling: "That depends on the ratio of fat to meat. With this cut, I would probably roast it over a hot stone with a little salt, some Jueyun Chili, and Qingxin Flower."
[Brook is beyond believe when Xiangling said something about Qingxin Flower.]
Brook: "Qingxin flower!? But the melted fat would make the flavor of the flowers ten times stronger than when eaten raw... It would overpower everything!"
Xiangling: "I know, that's why it's a garnish – I would never marinate the meat in it! I've tried it before. If you baste the petals in oil and then cook them with the right heat and duration, it gets rid of the bitterness completely and leaves you with a lovely crispy topping. Then throw in some Jueyun Chilies grown at a high altitude, where the low humidity and varying temperatures lends them a unique dry heat. The petals absorb the saltiness from the sea salt, the chili spice, and the umami of the tender, freshly grilled steak, while also adding a floral aftertaste."
Brook: "Wait a goddamn minute! That's pure overkill! You're going all out on the trimmings and doing no justice to the meat whatsoever. Who wants to eat a roast when you can taste everything except the roast?"
[And, this time Xiangling argued with Brook about food recipes. And, to be honest... This second debate made Lumine and Musashi even more dizzy.]
Paimon: "Uh..."
Musashi: "I guess this is a sort of culinary clash of the titans."
Lumine: "And I don't think they can hear anyone but themselves..."
[And it seems that the debate between Xiangling and Brook can't be stopped, until...]
Xiangling: "Hmph. Well there's only one sure-fire way out of a cooking dispute... I declare a cook-off!"
Musashi/Lumine: "WHAT!?"
Paimon: "Cook Off!?"
Brook: "Suits me! If you can't beat my cooking, it'll show that Draff was clearly wrong about you."
Xiangling: "Alright — but if I win, you have to use my winning dish to promote Springvale!"
Brook: "And if you lose, you have to add my winning dish to the Wanmin menu! With a caption saying "This special addition to the Wanmin menu is generously provided by Chef Brook of Springvale, meat expert." Hmph!"
[For some reason, Xiangling feels irittated a bit.]

Paimon: "Have you decided what you're looking for yet?"

Paimon: "Then how are you so sure of yourself?"
Xiangling: "That's my style. If I decided in advance exactly how I was going to cook something, there'd be no element of surprise to the dish."

Lumine: "I agree."

Xiangling: "Haha, I know how weird it sounds but I guarantee you it tastes incredible. I'll make some for you next time!"

[That Cyro Regisvine just rotates 360 degrees while spitting out a wide range of Ice attacks. They all dodged by jumping up.]
Xiangling: "Yikes!"
Lumine: "Everything froze all at once!"

[This time, Cyro Regisvine spewed an ice attack upwards and aimed it to Lumine.]
Xiangling: "Lumine!"
Paimon: "Lumine!"
[Lumine tried to cover her eyes with her arms and wait for the enemy's attack to hit her, but...]

[Lumine didn't feel any pain. When he opened his eyes, she saw Musashi with his Anemo Shield resisting Cyro Regisvine's attack.]
Lumine: "M-Musashi?"

[Successfully bypassing the enemy's attack, Musashi immediately slashed the enemy and finally split in two.]
Musashi: "Good Riddance."
[Musashi put his sword back into its scabbard. She let out a small breath. And, when she turned around...]
Musashi: "Wha-"

[Lumine immediately hugged Musashi tightly, and it surprised Musashi a little.]
Musashi: "L-Lumine?"

Musashi: "Well, I'll pass on the slime juice, though..."
