The days have gone by with no sign of Jack anywhere. No crazy happenings, not even a strange death. At least not our kind of strange deaths.

A light tapping came on my bedroom door and I opened it up, seeing Dean standing there.

"What do you want, Dean?" I asked.

"We may have a lead on where Jack is." he answered.

"Really? Where?"

"Jody called and said a fried of hers brim Bismarck PD called with a lead matching Jack's description. A local artist was found dead with his eyes burned out." Dean answered as he followed me out into the main room where Sam sat at the table, going through a lore book.

"Sounds angel-y." I said, "we going?"

"Yeah." they answered and we walked up the stairs of the bunker, heading outside and getting into the Impala, starting our long drive to Bismarck.

"Can we stop for coffee on the way there?" I asked as I sat in the back seat.

"Sure thing, kiddo." Dean answered.

Sam looked at his brother and smiled. "Glad to see you and Anna finally getting along."

"Yeah. Took a while, but we're back to being the dream team, ain't we, kid?" Dean asked as he looked at me in the rear-view mirror.

"Sure. Let's go with that." I answered.

Eventually, we drove up to a coffee shop and Dean got out of the car, heading inside the shop and coming out a few minutes later rien a tray of three cups of coffee, handing them to us when he got in once again.

"Let's see what's happening in Bismarck." I said as the Impala started up again and we drove out of the coffee shop.

                               💠💠💠

"Jack!" Sam pushed open the door to the entrance of the hospital ward, the three of us running to catch up with Jack as he talked with Kaia.

"Sam?" Jack looked back at us in confusion and the girl kicked him to the ground and ran away.

"Are you okay?" I asked Jack as I helped him up.

"Yeah, I-I'm fine. She kicked me." Jack told me.

"Yeah, well, welcome to the world where women are shamed by men for nearly everything. You'll survive a kick in the nuts." I told the boy.

Jack looked over to see Kaia running around the corner and out of view. "She's getting away."

"Good." Dean said.

"No, I can't—"

"Hey, tell us what's going on." Dean said to Jack.

"I need her." Jack answered.

"You need her like you needed Derek?" Sam asked.

"Yes. You don't.....I'm doing this for you." he said.

"You killed Derek for us?" Dean asked.

"Derek's dead?" Jack said, looking confused.

"Wait, Jack, tell us what happened." I said to him.

"I left to get a grip on my powers. I wanted to prove to you that I'm good, to do one good thing. So I did the thing you wanted the most. I experimented, opening doors to other worlds. I could almost do it. I could get right to the edge. But I could only feel around in the dark. I couldn't see. I needed eyes. A seer."

"A dreamwalker." I said.

"Yeah. So I researched like you taught me. That's how I found Derek. And I saw them."

"Them?" Sam asked.

"Your mom," Jack looked at the Winchesters, then me. "and your dad. They're alive, but in danger."

"What kind of danger?" Sam asked.

"They're being......tortured somehow." Jack answered.

"I was so close to them. I could almost touch them, but Derek said the connection wasn't strong enough." Jack explained.

"You didn't burn him out?" I asked.

"No. I stopped. Derek wasn't strong enough, but he knew someone who was. Kaia, she's the key." Jack said to me.

"Okay, well, this has been a lovely catch-up. But let's head back to the Impala. It's almost dark out." I said as I looked at the setting sun.

"Good idea." Dean said and walked back to where the car was parked as the three of us followed, getting in the car and heading it start up.

"Jack." I looked at him once we got on the road.

"Yeah?" he turned his head to me.

"I know that you won't hurt me. You're just afraid to get close. You're scared that....the same thing that happened to Cass will happen to me. But there won't be any coming back, will there?" I said, trying to grasp why he left us.

He stayed silent for a long time, and then nodded. "Yeah....I'm scared I'm gonna—I'm going to lose you. And I don't want that."

I smiled a little and set my hand on top of his on the seat. "And you won't. But...don't push me away again like that. Okay?"

A light smile formed on his face. "I won't. And you'll stay by my side, right?"

I nodded. "I will."

"Hey, guys. Hate to break up this reunion, but the cops are looking for Kaia as well as us, so we gotta find her fast." Sam said back to us.

"You were right. About Mom, you were right. This whole time we should have been looking for her. And Anna's dad as well." Dean said from the drivers seat.

"Dean, that was just hop. I didn't fully know. Anyways, it doesn't matter. Now that we do know—" Sam said.

"We find them. No matter what it takes." Dean said with a look at his brother and me.

"Yup." Sam nodded.

"Jack, you okay?" Dean asked.

"You thought....you all though I could do that. That I could kill Derek." Jack said sadly.

"Jack. We didn't know what happened. We figured maybe it was an accident, or..." Sam said.

"Like the security guard." Jack said.

"Yes. Exactly like that." Sam nodded.

"Jack, listen, we were worried. You know when you disappeared, you were in a dark place and we didn't know where you were going, and then—"

"We thought you were looking for your dad." Dean interrupted Sam.

"You mean Lucifer? I was scared, I was upset. But why would I go to him? He's nothing to me. You, Castiel, you're my family." Jack said.

I smiled. "Jack's got three new fathers now."

Sam turned around in his seat and smiled at me. "You're family as well, Anna."

Jack groaned and grabbed the side of his head, squeezing his eyes shut as Dean slammed on the breaks.

"What's wrong, kid?" Dean asked Jack once the pain had stopped.

"It was Angel Radio. They've got Kaia."

                               💠💠💠

"You know, the girl's right. Your plan does kinda suck." Dean said as we walked into the room, seeing Kaia tied to a chair. "Give us the girl."

"She's not the one we're after." the female angel spoke, looking towards Jack. "Jack. Time to come home. Be among your own kind."

"Over my dead body. You're not taking him again." I said, standing close to Jack and staring the woman down.

The angel looked unamused. "Jack. Are you really going to give up Heaven for this...mortal girl?"

"Without hesitation." Jack answered and yellow light burst from his hand and sent the angel flying backwards and smashing through a window.

I ran to the chair and untied Kaia. "Everything's going to be alright, Kaia."

"Am I still on drugs? What did I just see?" Kaia asked as she stood on shaky legs.

"It's...a long explanation. Best if you don't know." I said to the girl, turning back to see the three boys looking out the window where the angel had fallen.

Jack sighed and walked back over to me. "She's gone."

"Good. I wasn't about to let a random person take you. Even if she is an angel." I replied and wrapped my arms around him as he hugged me, resting his chin in my hair.

"Don't worry," Jack said as he dragged his hand through my hair. "I'm not going anywhere."

"Hey, Kaia. Look, I'm sure this is a lot. But, my brother, Anna, and I need you. Our mom and her dad are trapped in another world. And if you can tell Jack where it is, then he can open a door and we can save them." Sam explained.

"So what's the play?" Dean asked Jack.

"Derek said there are sacred sites. Places where the walls between the worlds are thin, where it's easy to cross over. I was taking Kaia to the Wind Caves." Jack said, his arms still around me.

    "Let's roll." Dean said.

    "No." Kaia said.

"We just saved your life in there." Sam said to her.

"Thanks, but they only wanted me because of you." Kaia said as she pointed at Jack.

"Kaia, we need you to dreamwalk for us. To use your gift." Jack said.

"It's not a gift. It's a curse. When Derek walked, he was free. He could go see beautiful things. When I walk, the only place I see is the Bad Place. It's just—blood and death and monsters." Kaia explained to us.

"Well, that sounds like a lifetime of bad dreams, but—" Dean said to her.

"Bad dreams?" Kaia echoed and walked to the brothers, rolling up her hoodie sleeve and showing red burns. "When I get hurt over there, I don't wake up sweaty. I wake up bloody. I'm sorry, but I can't help any of you."

"All right. We'll find another way." Sam said.

Dean took his gun out. "Get in the car."

"Dean." Sam looked at his brother.

"Get in the car. Now." Dean said, cocking the gun back and pointing it at her.

"Dean!" I pulled out of Jack's arms and pushed Kaia behind me, the barrel of the gun pressing against my chest. "You gonna shoot me?"

"Maybe." Dean answered, his finger hesitating over the trigger.

"You won't. Like it or not, you won't shoot me because you actually care about me." I said.

Dean looked hard at me and sighed, dropping the gun from my chest and sighing. "Damn it. You're right."

"Anna, it's fine. I-I can get in the car." Kaia told me shyly and walked past me as the brothers walked beside her to make sure she didn't run away.

"Anna, are you out of your mind? Jumping in front of a gun like that?" Jack asked me worriedly. "You're not invincible."

"Dean wouldn't shoot me." I stated.

Jack sighed softly before pulling me in for another hug. "Just don't do reckless stuff like that when I'm around. Please."

                               💠💠💠

"We need that boy, Dean Winchester." the same female angel said as she got out of her car after driving us into a parking lot of a shipyard. "Heaven's running out of angels. Only he can save us."

"Anna, get Jack out of here." Dean said, not taking his eyes off the woman.

I took Jack's hand and we ran into the shipyard house, seeing Sam spraying wards around the ship.

"How long will those wards hold?" I asked as we rushed past him.

"No idea. Get him someplace safe!" Sam yelled after me as we ran down another hallway.

"Planning on it!" I yelled back and opened up a metal door, slamming it behind us and locking it.

The light switched on and Jack looked at me in amusement. "I don't think that lock will hold them."

"Probably not, but it will buy us some time." I answered, smiling as I looked at him.

"What?" he asked with a little smile.

"You have a halo." I said, the light making the shape of a halo around his head. "See? You're an angel. Not a mini devil as some people think."

"And where do you fall in this category? Good, I hope." Jack said.

"Oh, very good. I'm your number one supporter." I said.

A loud knock came on the door. "Kid, open up. It's me!" Dean shouted.

I opened the door and the three rushed in, Sam closing the door and spraying one last ward on the door, slamming his hand against it and having it glow a bright blue-white.

"That won't hold for long. Kaia, I'm so sorry we dragged you into this mess." Sam apologized.

"Cool, but you will need that door opened. I'll help you with that, but then, I'm out." Kaia said.

"Jack, could you take us to our mom and Anna's dad?" Sam asked.

"I think so, but I can't take three people. It's too hard, even for me." Jack answered.

"You two go. I'll stay." I said.

    "Are you sure?" Dean asked.

"I'm sure. Just come back alive." I told them.

    "We will." the brothers replied.

"Okay, Kaia, let's do this." Jack said as he walked past me and to the girl.

"Jack," I walked over to him and placed a light kiss on his cheek, making him blush slightly. "Be careful."

*happy squeal* IT HAPPENED!!! FLUFF AND KISS AND FEELINGS ARE BEING ESTABLISHED!
