Sakura P.O.V
I was helping at Uncle Pigsy's shop as usual, it has been a couple of days since New Year's and my first kiss... I blushed when I remember that moment, I shook my head from embarrassment. I heard Uncle Pigsy arguing with Uncle Tang about the noodles again, and I received a notification from my phone, I pulled out my phone from my pocket and saw a new app called 'Sleep Bug'
"That's a weird name for an app" I said as I pressed the app and suddenly, I grew sleepy
'Huh? Why am I suddenly... so sleepy?' Next thing I knew, I passed out
MK P.O.V
"What do you mean vacation?" I asked looking at Monkey King with a confused look and I received a notification on my phone, I took it out and saw a new app called 'Sleep Bug', I didn't time to look at it, so I threw my phone
"Ah, c'mon bud. I promised myself that once I find myself a successor, I'll go see some old friends, take a tour of my old stomping grounds. Just cut loose y'know. Oh! Gonna need these!" Monkey King said as he put on a pair of sunglasses
"B-But! You can't just leave?! What if someone attacks the city?! What if the Spider Queen comes back?!" I started to freak out
"You'll figure it out, it's adorable how nervous you are. But don't be! You've come a long way. And you know... The next step of your journey you do alone!" Monkey King said dramatically while posing
"Alone?!" I yelled
"But don't worry, I'll check in, send you some training tools, remote lessons. Ah, we'll figure it out, you'll do great!" Monkey said as he summoned his cloud and tossed his luggage on it "Also, before I forget, give this to Sakura" Monkey King handed me a book that looks pretty old
"A book? Looks pretty old too" I said inspecting the book
"It's something that I want Sakura to read, it explains more of her powers" Monkey King said
'Her powers' I thought and remembered all the time when one of us is in danger, her appearance changes when she pulls out the sword from her chest.
"Alright bud! It's time for me to go! Monkey King out!" Monkey King said as zoomed out of here
"At least my friends won't abandon me!" I yelled and headed back home
Pigsy's Noodle Shop
When I parked the cart outside, I headed inside the shop
"Can you believe that Monkey King just... Gasp!" I noticed that no one was here 'My friends abandoned me!' I thought to myself and saw Mei sleeping on the floor. I let out a breath of relief, I went to each of my friends who were sleeping for some reason, I shook them to wake them up but nothing happened
"Okay, okay. Everyone is asleep and Monkey King's gone, it's just me and my thoughts" I said as I fell to the ground and curled up into a ball, then I saw Sakura's hair on the floor, I crawled towards her and sure enough she was asleep too
'She looks cute when she's asleep' I thought to myself, and my eyes landed on her lips. Without thinking, I leaned down and kissed her
I pulled back and heavily blushed
"I CAN'T BELIEVE I DID THAT!!" I yelled, even my yelling didn't wake them up
Sakura P.O.V - Dream
I hear chirping noises and the sound of a flowing river, I started to open my eyes and noticed that I was laying on the ground
"Huh? When did I go outside?" I scratched the back of my head and noticed that I was wearing some arm guards and my clothes were different too. I got up to look at my reflection by the river, once I got to the river, I looked at myself and I looked like the same goddess from my last dream. I scooped up some water from the river and splashed my face hoping I'll wake up, but I'm still here
"Why am I here? I wonder will I find the answers that I'm looking for?" I said out loud, I gathered the stuff that is with me and started walking. While walking, I heard someone scream in terror, I ran towards the source of the scream. When I got close, I saw a monk who was being attacked by demons, without thinking I summoned my sword and charged at the demons from behind. After I defeated the demons, I put my sword away and looked at the monk
"Are you alright, sir?" I asked as I turned around and my eyes widen
'Uncle Tang?!'
"Thank you so much for saving me miss. If you haven't showed up, I would've been eaten" Uncle Tang(?) said
"You're welcome, sir. But what are you doing out here?" I asked
"I'm on a journey to the west with my companions. Oh, dear me, I forgot to introduce myself, I am Tripikata, the people know me as the great monk" Uncle Tang(?) introduced himself as the great monk
'Eh?! Uncle Tang is the descendant of the great monk?!' I thought to myself with a surprised look
"May I know your name, miss?" Tripikata asked
"My name is Konohana, I came from a faraway land. I'm known as the Cherry Blossom Goddess" I said, but it didn't feel like I actually said it though
"A goddess?! Forgive me! I didn't know that you were a goddess!" Tripikata said
"It's alright. No harm has been done" I said to reassure him
"Konohana, if it's alright, will you accompany me?" Tripikata asked
"You want me to go with you? What about your companions?" I asked
"Uh... The truth is... I actually got separated from them. But I know they're looking for me right now. So, will you please accompany me til I find them?" Tripikata asked
"Alright, I'll go with you" I said and Tripikata looked happy, hence began the journey
After walking for some time, we heard rustling noises coming from the bushes. I summoned my sword to protect Uncle Ta-, I mean Tripikata, then something went passed me and tackled Tripikata
"Master! I finally found you!" I turned around and saw Monkey King, when Tripikata finally sat up, he was tackled to the ground again. I saw Uncle Pigsy and Uncle Sandy
'Uncle Pigsy?! Uncle Sandy?! Huh?!' I freaked out again
"Uh... Master? Who's she?" I heard Monkey King asking, Tripikata finally got up and cleared his throat
"Gentlemen, this is Konohana, she's the Cherry Blossom Goddess from a faraway land. Konohana, this Zhu Bajie, he's a demon pig. This is Shou Wu Jing, he's a water sprite, and this is Sun Wukong" Tripikata introduced me
"It's nice to meet all of you" I said as I bowed
"Please raise, there's no need to do that" Tripikata said and he looked around "Where's Ao Ji?"
'Ao Ji? Isn't that Mei's great, great, great, something grandpa?' I thought to myself, and saw a white horse coming out from the bushes 'What's up with everyone coming out of bushes?'
"Ah! There you are! Ao Ji, allow me to introduce you to Konohana, the Cherry Blossom Goddess" Tripikata introduced me to Ao Ji
"It's a pleasure to meet you Konohana" Ao Ji said as he bowed his head
"It's nice to meet you too" I said with a bow too
"Alright! Let's going!" Monkey King exclaimed
Tripikata got on Ao Ji with the help of Monkey King, and looked at me
"Well, are you coming?" Monkey King asked me
"Huh? You... want me to join you on the journey? Why?" I asked
"Master trusts you, so I trust you. Especially since you protected master from any danger, so I thank you" Monkey King thanked me
'Monkey King has manners?! He's definitely different from the Monkey King I know' I sweat drop on the thought
"So, will you come with us?" Tripikata asked
"Alright. I'll join you on your journey" I said and thus I joined them on their journey
'Even though it's a dream, it feels real like I've done this before. I wonder why I'm dreaming of this?' I thought to myself. The dream continued on, this time I was walking with Monkey King towards the mountain that I saw in my last dream, when we were getting close to the top, I started to wake up "Oh... Guess it's time for me to wake up, but... I want to see more..." Then my dream ended
End of Dream
No One P.O.V
Everyone in the city started waking up, they wondered what happened before they passed out, unknown to everyone the 'Sleep Bug' app disappeared from everyone's phones.
Pigsy's Noodle Shop
Tang, Mei and Sakura also started to wake up from their slumber, but have no idea what happened
"Hey guys? Where's Uncle Pigsy?" Sakura asked as she started look around the shop for her uncle. Tang and Mei shrugged their shoulders because they have no idea either. A minute later, MK walked in with the injured Pigsy
"Aaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!! Uncle Pigsy?! What happened?!" Sakura freaked out and she went to find the first aid kit. After wrapping up Pigsy in bandages, MK explained to everyone how he used his brain to save everyone, and no consequences had happened, but everyone was glaring at him. With a side glance, MK stared at Sakura and his face turned red due to his action he did while she was asleep, Sakura looked at him a confused look and wondered why he's turning red
