I make my way downstairs back into the loud music. I see Candice and I walk towards her.
"First night and yuh get man" She says laughing
"Dat anuh nothing. Just guh talk"
"Him look good yuh fuck. A face bwoy!" She says
"Girl mi did a whul me composure but him nice bad"
"Yuh nuh ready fi guh home? Mi cyah stay yasso no longer, Mi wah go inah me bed" I say to Candice
"Yeah mi call Cj, mi and him nuh deh pon nuh good terms right now, if a never one thing, me take taxi gah mi yard" She says hissing her teeth
"Wah happen" I ask
"Nobody cya tell mi say Cj nuh have odda gyal and him would a take God off a the cross before him admit it"
"Wah mek yuh believe say him have a next oman" I ask knitting my eyebrows
"Him secretive wid him phone and him a come in late a night time. When mi call him nah answer, sometime him all a reach home after 4 inah morning"
Before I could say anything, Candice phone rings and it's Cj telling her that he's in the parking lot.
We get in the car in the parking lot and it takes about 20 minutes to reach my house
I say my goodbyes and get inside and as soon as my head hits the pillow.

I take up my phone, hesitating if I should call or not as I'm not sure if she's awake.
I decide to call her and on the 5th ring.....
"Hello" She says in a sleepy tone

"Aaron. Couple hours enuh Kenya. Yuh figet bout mi already?" I ask
She chuckles
"How would I recognize your voice so quick Aaron"
"Me a come fi yuh round 7 tonight. Dat gud?"
She pauses and I hear nothing
"Kenya?" I call
"Yeah me a hear yuh, Why ya come fi me later?"
"Just get ready before 7. No later than that zeen"
"I don't kno-"
"Kenya, ready by 7. Aguh link yuh later fi yuh location" I say, cutting her off before she could finish her sentence and hangs up.

I hear the house phone ring and I answer
"Boss wah yute dung yah say him
name Joshua. Him say ya expect him" says the security at my gate
"Yah send him up. Check him before him come up. Nothing nuh fi deh pon him, deevn him phone" I say before hanging up

The fuck just happen? Just ready by 7 suh? Nothing else? Just ready by 7?
A must prank. My subconscious says and I scoff.
I start working on Saturday. Candice is probably at work by now, She's a model for clothing brands and an Instagram Influencer.
I really don't have anything to do right now

I get up to brush my teeth and take a shower.
After that I walk around the house with absolutely nothing to do before picking up my phone and calling my mother
I show her around the house and the conversation flows for the next 40 minutes before she hangs up.
Our bond is so tight, we could sit and talk about anything for hours and the conversation never gets boring.
Maybe because it was just the two of us growing up I guess.....

Mi not even know wah fi wear, Mi fi wear dress? Pants? Wah? I ask my self, hissing my teeth.
I take a shower and starts doing my make up.
I decide that I'm going to wear something I think would fit for the occasion, Which I don't even know what occasion

Before so, mi come back a mi yard
A Versace two piece with my gold heels
I'm laying on my bed with my towel on and I check my phone

I send it to him and start putting on my clothes.
Couple minutes later, I hear a knock on my door

I take up my mini bag and opens the door
He's standing at the door with one hand on the door hinge.
He's wearing a white Nautica shirt, black pants and White Airforce
Simple but why does he look so fucking good? He smells so good too I could smell his cologne before I opened the door.
His eyes trails my body and he bites his bottom lip and shows a little smirk before saying
"You are gorgeous"
And as usual I blush, not knowing what to say or do

I manage to let out a shy "thank you" with a smile
He offers to take my hand again.
I roll my eyes and put my hand in his before closing the door behind me and he leads me to a black BMW X6
He opens the passenger door and I get in and he close it.
He gets in and drives off.
