"Well then! I will leave you two to it!" said Thoma as he turn to you "and I was ordered by Lady Ayaka to take you back to the resident, Lady y/n"
"Huh?" you cross your arm, "why should I? I'm on Vacation"
"Hey!" Paimon yells, "why can't we go but she can!" Lumine holds her down.
"Sorry, She was just loud," said Lumine
"Haha, I figure you two would think it's unfair but order is orders" Thoma huff, "now, go along now. You don't have all day"
"Wah, aw" Paimon whined as Lumine take her with her.
You are about to sneak your way out but Thoma stands in front of you "not so fast my lady" he smiles, "I can't disobey my two masters"
"Tsk, you and your orders" you cross your arm again "I'm only here because I thought they would let me be, but clearly I was wrong"
"Haha!" he laughs
"?"
"I'm sorry my lady but they want to see you" he smiled, "it's been sometime after all"
"..." you pause and look back at him
"They miss you a lot my lady" he pleads with his eyes
"...that a good lie, but I will believe you this time" you walk past him.
Thoma stands there confused, feeling something is changing about you 'that coldness...somehow she don't have them anymore...'
You turn to him "what are you waiting for? Let's go" you demands.
"Y-yes my lady!" he follows you from behind "lady y/n, do you want me to hold-" you hand him your bag/backpack "b-bag..."
The way there, Thoma feels like he has been to a cold place that will suffocate him any minute now. if he tries to talk to you, you just reply with your usual one word.
' no...that coldness is still there...' He drops on both his knee to the ground when you and he finally arrive at the residence of "Kamisato" you said
You walk in leaving Thoma trying to catch a breath, you look around the maintained garden. Waterfall on the side, a little shrine at the corner, and a wonderful view from the open garden "wow..."
"I take that you like it," said a man's voice
You turn to see a man with sky-blue pupils, his long light blue hair tied to the side, and wearing his traditional modern clothes.
"Ka.mi.sa.to Aya.to" you said
"Y/n. Win.ter.bloom" he said back
You two stare at each other, like an ongoing battle.
"Now, now, you two," said a girl's voice, she walked toward the two of you "why are you like this when you just meet each other again?" she smiled.
You turn to her "It's been a while Ayaka"
"Y/n! It really been so long isn't it" she beams "we didn't know that you would be in Inazuma, if we do we would have welcome you more warmly"
"No, don't be" you shake your head "I'm trying to come here in secret, I don't want to tell no one about it"
"Oh? But my brother said you were coming" she turn to him "isn't that right?"
Ayato shrugged "I just heard about it" he smirk at you like he know it all.
'This man' you feel tick off, you have never liked this guy as a human, he cunning like a fox. He might smile and talk sweet all the time but only when you are useful to him, someone that benefit him.
Flashback
You still remember when the two siblings and their parents set foot on the Winterbloom estate. You and Aldian were in charge of the Kamisato sibling.
And when you talk to Ayato like any normal people you talk to, he said "your smile is vicious, trying to smile all the time must be exhausted"
"I don't know what are you talking about Ayato" you tilt your head
He smiles "sure...if you say so" he shrugs it off "you know~ but you have a long way to go"
Somehow that just ticks you off "well, I don't know maybe I'm not as much as fake as you Kamisato Ayato"
He look back and tries to smile "yes?"
"Try to smile as hard as you can, it's not like you going to real all the time"
"Say you" he crosses his arm
"I am just pointing it out" you smile and cross your arm.
After that, even during dinner, eating dinner feels like walking on cold snow barefoot. everyone finds it hard to even discuss marriage. They know that if you two got together, a storm can be created.
Flashback End
"Haha..." Ayaka tries to break the ice between you two "well, um our chef has cooked much delicious food for you, let go! We don't want them to get cold"
"Alright, thanks Ayaka" you nobs following her and so is Ayato.
Dinner is ok, they were great but it would be more delicious if 'he were here...'
"Y/n?" Ayaka called "is the food to your liking?"
"Yes, they are delicious" you smile. Ayaka, she is sweet as you remember, you never meet someone as sweet as her, though she can be strict but she also knows the emotion of a human.
"Well" Ayato continues, "how can the food be to her liking when it doesn't have 10 pounds of snow" he calmly said "apologize, about not having snow"
A tick mark appears on your head.
"Brother!" Ayaka looks shocked
"It's ok Ayaka" you smile, "it's not like he knows what snow looks like when he is trapped in his office all the time"
"Y-y/n!" she turns to you. She turns to Thoma who trying to not get involved with the complex.
'Cunning Fox'/ 'Vicous Fox'
The staring contest last for another 5 mins until Ayaka had enough and have to separate you two. Thomas excuse himself saying he needs to go find the traveler.
Ayaka has a maid take care of you after the meal, she and her brother have a business to take care of in the city.
So you are left alone at the residence. You walk outside trying to get some fresh air.
"Why don't you go for a walk on the beach," said granny
"Yes?" you turn to her, seeing a granny standing next to you "go for a walk on the beach? ...it's getting dark, maybe next time"
"Haha...it's never too dark to go anywhere in Inazuma," she said, "I heard from our lady that you been in your home all the time, coming out here by yourself must be a bit of shock"
"Ha, in shock? I don't think so" you continue, "in fact, I feel great after I left"
She stays quiet for a bit "Lady and Master are really grateful for what you did"
"Grateful for?"
"Haha," she continued "they have no one after their parent left them, during that time even I couldn't step in and do anything"
"..."
"And suddenly someone comes to Inazuma, saying he a Butler sent by the Winterbloom. It feels like a light has shown them a way"
"Butler...Duke must have sent him" you said, starting to remember a bit by bit.
"...your father send him but the one that requests to send help is nonother than you, Lady, y/n" she smiles and bows her head a little
"W-what are you doing?" you found this a little surprise
"I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, I may not have anything to give but if you need any help I am willing to do so"
"..." you sigh* "I don't need anything because I help, I just thought...since we're kind of part of the family"
Granny smiled "you are really what the two masters said" she continued "Since today evening is beautiful, I still suggest you go on a walk on the beach"
"Ha..." you thought for a moment "is someone waiting for me there?"
"Oh my, you catch on quick" she laughs, "he should be there by this time, he said he want to talk to you"
"He?" you just know who it is "sigh* what does he want with me"
"Haha," granny just laugh, "well then, this old Granny will be on her way," she said and leave you there.
The wind blows softly, and you watch the endless sea from the garden balcony. You lean on the rail of the balcony, mumbling something "I really miss you, Kazuha"
On the Ship
He leans on the rail of the ship, with the wind blowing softly through his hair. He looks at the endless sea and many islands that are not so far from them, mumbling something "I miss you, y/n"
"Hey, Kazuha!" Beidou shouted, "what are you doing there? We have a guest"
He turn to see a girl with pink hair, her clothes as if she were a mermaid "Greeting" she said, "I come to ask for your assistance"
