Bella's POV
"I would really like to be in one piece today." I said while I fell to the ground as my band members tackled me into a hug and I fell onto the ground.
"Come on, we're performing at the O2 and we're releasing a live album and film." Dani eagerly jumped.
"Don't forget the documentary." Jack added while we realized the film crew was filming us.
Totally forgot they were following us around. I guess you're just used to it that the author forgets to mention them.
"Well then, to sound check we go." I linked arms with Leighton and we skipped to the stage.
We did a quick run through of the show since I wanted to save my voice for the show tonight. With the guest performances we rehearsed them the previous two days since we didn't want to have some last minute problems.
After having a successful soundcheck, all of us headed to the green room to relax for a little bit until we had to start getting ready. I was checking in on my family since they decided to have a wander around London for a little bit before they came to the venue. I could come with them but I have to be at the venue just in case something happens. Jack and Leighton are beating each other in Mortal Kombat while Dani and Andi were on their laptops most likely working, and I'm just curled up in the corner of the couch reading a book that I stole, wait no, borrowed from Andrew's library.
"Bella, wake up." I felt Leighton shaking me.
"I'm up." I closed the book that was laying on my chest. "Did I fall asleep?"
"Yeah." She answered. "We need to get ready."
"Alright." I got up from the couch and headed to the dressing room.
After doing my hair and makeup, I changed out of my clothes and changed into my outfit for the first act. While I changed, I felt the adrenaline and anxiety coming up to me. I just can't believe that it's happening. Only an hour left before our show starts and this show better go well. No matter how much time we rehearse, something is bound to happen.
Throwing on a black pleather bra top, black jeans, and attached my in-ears before putting on my black leather jacket. Yeah, a lot of black with this outfit for the opener. Once I adjusted everything in my outfit, I headed out of the dressing room to the green room. Thankfully this greenroom is huge so all of our family and friends could fit into it. I greeted everyone else's family before I greeted mine.
"Kathie, Joseph, I thought you guys weren't going to make it." I greeted and hugged Morgan's parents.
"We didn't want to miss this." Kathie gave me a loving smile.
"Morgan would've loved this." Joseph told me in a somber tone.
"He would but he's looking down." I lightened up the mood. "Well, I have to meet some other people but can't wait to see your reactions."
I walked away from them and saw Andrew, holding Kara in his arms, talking to Tyler, Dereck, Ryan, and Evan from State Champs. I gave my daughter and boyfriend a kiss before greeting and hugging the band. We talked for a little bit before Dylan walked in announcing that anyone who is not performing needs to get into their reserved section. Many hugs and kisses and good luck messages were thrown at us before leaving the room.
Despite all of us not being really religious, we did a little prayer before we did our usual pre show rituals. After swallowing the burning alcohol, all of us played slide and we actually beat our record. Just by one but at least we've beaten it even though it may have taken us a month to beat it.
"Well, last show of the year." I looked at my bandmates. "Let's kick ass."
Everyone high fived each other and we walked down the halls of the arena to the stage. Jake was taking photos of us while we walked to the stage. We were handed our instruments when we walked past the instrument room and we made it to the stage. We felt the vibrations from the arena speakers as the pre show music played. We were all dancing to it and we soon heard the scream from fans as the countdown started. Dani, Jack, Leighton, and Andi headed on stage before me as the countdown reached zero which caused the fans to scream in excitement. I walked up the steps and we started playing Last Young Renegade.
Immediately the arena felt alive as we performed. I've seen fans jamming out and singing along to the music. Andi, Jack, and I were jumping around on stage as we performed. Dani also joined us with the jumping around. I bet Jake got some cool shots of the four of us. When the opener was finished, the band jammed out for a little bit before I quickly changed into my next outfit. When the band was about to finish their ninety second jam out session, I headed back on stage when the track for Endgame started playing.
"Everyone, please welcome to the stage Future and Ed Sheeran." I announced my first two guests.
The three of us walked down the small length walkway as Future did his verse. Everyone was having a fun time while performing this song. I introduced Future and Ed again before they headed off stage and I started my rap. After that song I performed King of My Heart.
"That was fun." I said into the microphone before taking a sip of my water. "Anyways, how y'all doing?"
The crowd erupted into cheers as they responded.
"Hey Leighton." I looked back at her sitting behind her drum set and on the drum riser.
"Yeah Belle?" She said into her microphone.
"I'm feeling a little silly. I'm gonna perform Getaway Car while walking through the crowd." I told her and looked at the rest of the band while the track started to play. "How do you feel about that?"
Everyone nodded and replied with a synonym of yes and I walked off the stage. With security standing near me, I sang while greeting some fans. I took some pictures and gave them high fives. I soon got on the small circular stage which had my acoustic.
"Wow, you guys look tiny." I told the band into the microphone.
"You do too, but you're already tiny." Jack joked.
"Alright, you're fired." I joked back. "Dani take his guitar, you're our guitar player now. Wait, after this song all of you can take a break for a song. Anyways, this is Enchanted."
A majority of the crowd let out cheers as I started playing. A look of joy came as I saw everyone's reactions. I know, hearing a song that hasn't been performed in a long time brings so much joy. Even though there was a joyous emotion on my face, I knew that Last Kiss was coming next and I'm still not sure if I'm going to get through it.
"So, I'm going to get emotional when singing this song." I felt the lump in my throat coming up. "If you know the lyrics, help me and sing it."
I touched the diamond hanging from the silver chain and started playing. My voice softly came out of my mouth as I sang trying to fight the shakiness that I also felt trying to come out. Tears started to come out of my eyes and roll down my cheeks and I haven't even bothered wiping them. All of the happy and not so memories of Morgan and I started to flood my mind as I sang. This song was and still is for him even though it's been eight years.
"Love you." I whispered as the crowd cheered and I kissed my pointer and middle finger before pointing it up to the sky.
My guitar tech took the guitar from me and gave me a tissue so I could dab my tears.
"Alright, let's play something more upbeat and a little in the mood." I winked into the camera as the band started playing Dress.
My emotions changed from somber to sensual not going to lie. I swayed my hips as I sang and at the end of the song I took off my 'dress' which revealed some of my next outfit. During the breakdown of Style, I put on the leather jacket and corset before I sang. I walked down from the stage and started to walk through the crowd again but on the other side. I was imagining myself walking down the runway as I sang it. Reaching the friends and family area, I saw Andrew and we did our little hand shake before we kissed. Fans were cheering when they saw us pecking each other on the lips when they saw on the arena screens.
After heading back on stage, we continued to perform. Derek came on stage so we could sing Around The World And Back together and later Remy Ma came onto the stage to sing F.A.B. In between songs, we talked about our favorite memory on tour. All of us joked about the antics that we got into during our days off from the tour. I did one last costume change before the encore and soon the concert was over.
Everything went by so fast. I was just walking on stage and now I'm taking a bow with the band in front of thousands of people. Looking at my bandmates, we all let out a laugh as we looked at each other with tears coming down our face. I think everyone had the 'we made it' moment. We've been in the industry for almost ten years and we've finally had that moment. Dani, Andi, Jack, and I threw our picks into the crowd while Leighton lightly threw her beaten and battered drumsticks. We bowed one last time before heading off stage. When we walked off stage while wiping off the sweat with the towels that were given to us, we made our way to the greenroom with our arms still warped around each other's shoulders.
Walking into the greenroom, all of our friends and family cheered for us. I picked up Kara when she gave me a kiss on the cheek and congratulated me. I stood on the table that was in the middle of the room to grab everyone's attention. I started to do a little speech which was just me thanking everyone from the band and our tour crew for pulling this off. Everyone else in the band started to say their speeches and all of us, except for the kids and a few other people, raised our alcoholic drinks up in the air and we cheered. Getting off the table, I found Andrew who dragged me out of the greenroom.
"You were great." Andrew said after giving me a kiss. "You were so fucking great."
"Thanks." I blushed. "Love tour but now it's relaxation time. It's also Christmas season and I need to actually start shopping for gifts. Used to get most of them on Black Friday."
"Never really understood Black Friday." Andrew chuckled.
"Same but I love a good deal." I laughed while I laid my head on his arm.
"Should we head back in?"
"No, let's just relax and enjoy the moment."
Andrew and I stood in the hallway just processing what happened ten minutes ago. After a few minutes, we headed back in to see our friends and family chatting and dancing while music was playing.
