"Man shut the fuck up, y'all be tweaking off them pills" I waved them off going back to my game of 2k and I'm whopping folks ass

Ray done bust my shit down talm bout some the building getting sold and allat. I heard a couple of my homegirls saying shit but I wasn't tripping on it
"On O soul" He stood there in the door with a straight face, at this point he can't be lying doe
I paused the game getting up to put my Prada slides on, leaving out the door with Ray on my side
"What it say?" We walked down the hallway to the elevator, as people got out elevator I hopped in pushing the ground floor button with my knuckle
"New management gone be taking over and shit then it's gone say something bout demolishment but ion know when though" Ray half-assed explained leaning on the side of the elevator
"After all that fucking money I give that goofy to make sure shit don't get touched"
"And he ain't gone let us buy this shit, so ain't shit we can do" Ray added on to the situation
"Whether my name on them papers or not what the fuck he think he doing"
The elevator stopped with a thud as the door opened, we walked to the front door opening it and seeing the exact dude I'm looking for
"Ayy yo what the fuck is you doing goofy" I walked to him emphasizing my voice
Alonzo turned around as soon as he heard me "Ahh I was looking for you"

"What you doing with that" I pointed to the flyer in his hand before snatching it, I read over it seeing an estate name 'Miller Real Estate'
"Who the fuck is they?" I pointed to it as he tried to take the paper back but I snatched it away from him folding it up to put it into the pocket of my sweats
"Look the building need to get revamped, the plumbing is shit, the walls and roofs are shit, this place smell like shit" He pointed at the building and the trash all around us trying to prove a point
"I'm just doing what's best for the residents in the long run so just let me do it in peace"
"Why the fuck is you huffing and puffing like I'm the fucking problem bro, I gave you the money to hold this place down and fix it up right?"

"So why the fuck is niggas talking bout the buildings getting torn down and shit, I give you money so I ain't gotta worry about my peoples being put out on the fucking street" I cut him off
"You going back on your world or sum shit" Ray said making me agree
"Exactly it sound like you going back on yo word and I ain't going" I said gripping my sweats
"It's not really my word, I work for a real estate and if that estate wants to sell this then they are going to sell it, what more can I do?" He tried arguing back

"Like I said it's not up to me" This nigga always giving orders like he the fucking owner or lord of this bitch but now he can't do shit
"Where the fuck is my people gone go when all the shit knocked over and take 5 years to rebuild" I asked genuinely curious because I know for a fact he don't really care

"This nigga gotta be joking" Ray snickered walking away
"I pay for almost half these niggas on the block to live here and you think‑" at this point ion think I can even explain nothing to him

"Hi um I hope I'm not interrupting anything here" a high pitch voice said gaining both of the our attention to see a skinny ass white lady dressed in a tan dress

"Ight thats cool lil folks, now what hell you gone do about this?" I said pointing back to Alonzo cause I ain't done with his bitch ass
"Like I said Von I can't really- Matter of fact this a perfect time, this is the new management" I looked at the white girl that he was pointing too still standing there
"Well future management still working through the contract but if you have any questions, you can ask away" She suggested and shot ion see why not
"Leave this shit alone bro, fuck y'all want it foh" I asked bluntly
"Well a little hostile I see but to put it plainly, we saw an opportunity and just grabbed at it, you know" she kept a smile on her face which was starting the bug the fuck outta me
"There many opportunities somewhere else leave this shit right here the way it is" I stated irritated
"Ok, um you live here right?" She asked
"This my block" I answered shortly a nigga don't live here but fuck thats her business foh
"And that meaning...?"
I turned to Alonzo and his ass just standing there, then back to white girl "Bitch is you dumb?" I asked genuinely
"Von she was just asking a question" Alonzo came to her defense
"She acting fucking dumb bro, she know what the fuck I mean" I would have felt betta if it was a sista or brotha not a white bitch buying this shit
"I was just trying to confirm information and of course I know of this place and that's exactly why I think a reform is needed, you don't think so?"
"Von you know in your heart what she saying is true" I pulled Alonzo aside because this bitch acting brand new
"You know exactly what we got and why other folks can't be coming in moving shit, we can't move allat especially with everything going on around hea, damn near half the block gone get hit"

"No you may not" I copied her tone but still facing Alonzo, I moved and pushed Alonzo and away from her because she got too close
"All I know is you told me when I got outta jail to come to you about any problems around hea, so I'm coming to you about this" I hit his chest
Alonzo nodded not saying much to respond and I'm glad he didn't cause on Bd I was getting ready to stole on his ass
"AYE VON YOU STILL PLAYING OR WHAT" Duke yelled from the building making me let go of Alonzo shoulder and jog towards him
"What he say" Duke questioned once I got closer
"He ain't say shit and that's the problem" I huffed irritated walking inside the building back to the elevator
"I say put a mark on his ass" Duke mumbled but I still heard it

Alyssa looked perplexed at the situation she just saw between Von and Alonzo and frankly it's a situation she has seen multiple times
It always reminded of her a small dog getting put back in place, she didn't know of Von but from the looks of things not much went on here without him knowing
That alone mad her interested but concerned for how long this process of buying Parkway would take since the residents are becoming vocal
Seeing Alyssa was stuck in her thoughts Alonzo walked back over to her as so did Rommel, Ryan, and Tyler, another co-worker that joined for the tour
"Seems like we would have to hold the tour off" Alonzo announced looking back to see if Von really left
"Why, it already took a month to get this tour" Rommel was more than agitated, honestly it never took this long to finalize a deal
Usually the owner is willing to sell during the first week of discussions, he understands gangs ran around here heavily but did they really need to be taken that seriously?
"The residents are being very vocal about the recent circumstances and we should approach the situation with caution"
"I only saw two young man talking to you, are they 'residents' your talking about" Rommel felt like this was ridiculous and childish anyone should be able to see this was for the better
Alonzo almost instantly nodded his head at Rommel statement even making himself feel embarrassed at his actions
Ryan stood quiet as the discussion took place, so far the only thing she know is that the deal is taking to long making Rommel impatient and that resident don't want the building sold but why?
