"Riiinnggg Riiinngg Riinnggg" the sound of my alarm went off, I quickly reached out to turn it off before getting out of my bed. I went to the windows and opened the curtains letting in the blinding golden rays of the sun
I stood there just staring at the streets at people walked by, some were walking their dogs, some were Jogging and some were just taking a quiet stroll with their significant other
"Ahh!" I shouted in surprise when the girl suddenly slipped, Luckily the guy she was with had caught her before she fell to the ground
A memory flashed through my head "That's how we met, right?" I thought to myself as the memory of me and xavier making a scene in a jewelry store played in my head
"Should i give him a gift? Just a.. Token of appreciation for taking me around the city" i said to myself. With that thought in mind I quickly got dressed and left to go to the store where it all began
"Good Morning Madam, Is there anything you're looking for?" The lady asked as i went around the store for the 6th time
"Hi.. uhmm, what would be a nice gift for a man?" I asked, she smiled lightly before answering "Well we have a lot of beautiful watches that tends to catch the attention of our male customers"
I took a look at what she was pointing to and saw they were indeed eye catching, they looked elegant yet sophisticated "Hmm.. I'll take this one" i said "can you wrap it? It supposed to be a gift"
She proceeded to bring out an array of Boxes and gift wrappers and asked "which one would you like?"
I took a look at each and every one and ended up choosing a simple black Box made out of a silk-like material that had a black ribbon to match it "Thank you for shopping here, come again" she said as i left the store
As I slowly waked home I noticed a lot of couples passing by. i wondered "what would it be like if it were me and Xavier in there place.." I thought to myself. Going on Bicycle rides, Eating together, Going shopping together and just enjoying each others presence and company
"Ahh! Sorry!" The girl who bumped into me said when I abruptly stopped walking.. My eyes widened as i took a glance at my surroundings and slowly started to see every couple as me and xavier.
"Wait.. do i.. Like him..?" I questioned myself
