The wedding day arrived and Kinn and Porsche chose to have a simple ceremony with close friends and family and later on have their reception at the bar that Pete let Kinn purchase from him
Of course with a 5 % payback to Pete after every 6 months
Porsche was ecstatic and could barely contain his excitement
He right away made a drink for Kinn and of course he loved it
The festivities went along smoothly
Couples dancing, some helping themselves to the drinks and any kind of fun thing they could come across in the bar
Vegas' POV
I launched myself in a corner and watched as the wedded couple waltzed around the dance floor as everyone else followed
I couldn't help but envy them
I took a swig of my whiskey and just held onto my glass
" Can I join you?"
That voice
That voice I can distinguish in a room filled with tons of people
Ve: I thought you didn't make it ?
Pe: I wouldn't miss this for the world
I gestured for him to sit and he did leaving just a space for air to pass
His scent was running through my nose wafting through my head
Ve: you look beautiful
Pe: you're very dashing yourself
Ve: I couldn't compare to you right now
We both laughed and eased into conversation
A little while later a song came up and only a few couples were on the dance floor
Kinn and Porsche conversed with some of their guests
Ve: would you like to dance with me?
Pe: I don't see why not
I got up first and once I got hold of his hand I walked backwards just staring at him
He placed his arms around my neck and I let my circle his waist
We swayed to the music and stared into each other's eyes
Pe: you seem to have a lot on your mind
Ve: thinking of saying it might just be stupid
Pe: what if I am eager to hear it ?
Ve: how about we take this outside and not take the attention from the couple of the night
Pe: sure
He wanted to say his farewells and I lead I'm out of the bar
Almost immediately his stomach grumbled
Pete's POV
That was so embarrassing
Why would my stomach growl at a time like this?
I just thought of calling it a night
I felt him grab my hand and headed in the direction of the parking lot
He opened the door for me and silently drove off
Pe: um.... Where are we going?
Ve: you'll see
We stopped at a restaurant and I smiled to myself
He's really considerate.
We got out and into the restaurant
Every staff member we passed by bowed
I thought it was just courtesy but it sure wasn't
Manager: Mr Vegas
May I help you with anything?
Ve: is the kitchen vacant ?
Manager: we just have one last order to make them we will clean up
Ve: ok
You can may go
Manager : thank you
He bowed and went in the direction of what I assumed was the kitchen
Pe: what is this place ?
Ve: it's my restaurant
When I was in college my father was really generous I can say but this I bought for myself
I worked as a hacker for some time but once I got the money , I left the job
Pe: do you still hack?
Ve: yes, but this right here is my passion
But not many know about it
Every person I have invited here thinks it's just a good recommendation and I keep it at that
Ambitious and smart
Could he get any hotter?
Ve: we should get settled in
He lead me to a corner of the restaurant
It was private and had curtains going around it for privacy
Manager: the kitchen is free now
Ve: ok you may leave I'll lock up once I'm done
Manager: alright sir
He bowed and left
Pe; this place must be making you a lot
Ve: for now yes
It's doing pretty well
Pe: great
Ve: I'll be right back
Feel free to roam around
I nodded and he left
I felt a little lonely so to pass the time I looked around the place
It was cozy and warm
It was a big difference from the mood you can get in a bar
I followed the scent of something cooking and I found him busy chopping veggies
His jacket was off and he rolled up his sleeves
I honestly wish I could feel those popped up veins right now
Pe: yet I thought he looked hot before
This is torture
He plated the dishes smiled and looked up
Ve: how long have you been standing there?
Pe: ever since I got a whiff of the scent coming from here
He chuckled
Ve: well I'm done here
Let's eat, I hope you are fine with fish ?
Pe: yeah I'm ok with all seafood
Ve: great
I grabbed a tray and some glasses
Filled them with water and joined him at our table
Ve: This is for you
And this is mine
We dug in right away and it was exceptional
I didn't want to stop and just kept on stuffing my face
I cleared up my plate and sat up straight, completely satisfied
He reached out with a napkin and wiped the side of my mouth
He kept staring into my eyes with a smile on his face, making me flustered and then
I burped
Pe: excuse me
My cheeks were definitely red in embarrassment
Ve: it's ok
You really enjoyed it , that's all that matters
Pe: well I did and I know I have room for a lot more
I'll frequent this place, I want to try everything
Ve: I'll be expecting you
I smiled and so did he
We cleared up the table and cleaned everything
He locked up and we headed to his car
Pe: I didn't think I'll ever clean dishes and a kitchen whilst wearing a suit
I guess a first time for everything
He chuckled
Ve: yeah
I practically do that every time
Especially when I want to make something for myself after a long day with Kinn and the family business
Pe: must be tiring
Ve: it is and it's really hard to pretend you want to just shoot everyone when you get into a room and want a deal to be done as soon you get to the meeting place
It's taken a toll on me ever since I was old enough to join
Pe: it's not something you can stop is it ?
Ve: unfortunately no I can't
We got in the car and I told him my address
It was a 30 minute drive and soon he was leaving me at my doorstep
Pe: tonight was wonderful

I hope we can do this again sometime
Pe: I hope so

Ve: it couldn't get better than this honestly
We both laughed
I didn't want him to go
Ve: I have a long day tomorrow
Kinn will probably not work for the next two weeks so I have to get ready for a long ride
Pe: I hope all goes well with that
I know what a busy week or two can be
Ve: right

He slowly moved towards me and embraced me
I held onto his shirt, trying to memorize his scent
He slowly pulled away but I pulled him down by his collar, planting my lips on his
It lasted longer than intended, with his hands palms holding up my face
We broke the kiss and just held close to the other
Ve: I should rest go now
You better go in first
Pe: yeah
Goodnight
Ve: gnight
I went in and I could hear his car driving off
Pe: best night ever
