Right now,Rachel and I were in the car,driving to our hotel.
Even though she's been rambling non stop,I couldn't help but smile.
Just then,Puck suddenly spoke.
Jeez I forgot he was here too because he's been strangely quiet.
I don't even want to know what he's been doing this whole time.
"Guys did you hear? There's an actual superhero in Central City!"
He said with excitement.
"Are you talking about the Flash?"
I asked,glancing at him real quick.
Honestly,I don't really believe all that crap.
"Yes who would've thought?!! I wonder who else is real"
"The Flash isn't real,their probably just making stories up"
Rachel said and sat back.
"Whatever,I'm thinking of getting into some danger to see if he'd come save me"
I rolled my eyes. I'm not even surprised at this point,I swear it's a miracle he isn't in Jail yet.
After some time,Rachel and Puck began bickering about the Flash while I just sighed. I'm already use to this.
Barry's Pov
Remind me to never go to the movies with Iris and Eddie. I was third wheeling bad.
I had a done face as soon as we left,those two were walking infront of me,literally flirting and sharing popcorn.
Just then,my phone rang. I looked at the Callers ID and saw H.R.
I excused myself and answered quickly.
"Hello? Allen?"
"H.R.?"
"Hey,where are you right now?"
I looked around briefly before looking back down "At the movies,why?"
"Huh? That means it happened already"
I was beyond confused. This man disappeared for a week and now he called out of nowhere. What is he even talking about?
"What happened already?" I asked. I could hear him mumbling but I couldn't make out what he was saying.
"Nothing, gotta go"
"OH! And by the way,tell Cisco I'm sorry" He said.
These two are an old married couple. What did he do this time?
Before I could ask,he already hung up.
What the hell just happened?
"Allen?! You coming?" I heard Eddie yell.
"Yeah let's go" I said and glanced at my phone,before going towards the car.
Jake's Pov
"Bruh I can't believe you mixed up Central City with National City,
how did you even do that?" Ryder asked me in disbelief.
I rolled my eyes,grabbing my phone out of his hand.
If you didn't already realize,I kind mixed up the directions and now Ryder and I are here,in National City.
Right now,our car broke down and when Ryder called Unique,
that's when we realized.
"Again,I'm sorry now what do we do?" I asked Ryder who sighed in annoyance.
"I can't believe I'm about to do this" He said taking out his own phone.
"What"
"Hello? Mom?" My eyes went wide.
Ryder then went somewhere more private.
After some time,he returned and before I could ask questions,he spoke before me.
"Don't ask"
"Ok but atleast tell me what's going to happen now?"
"You'll see"
A few minutes later,a car pulled up. The door opened and a woman with fancy clothes and short blonde hair got out. She was also on her phone.
"Yes and cancel that meeting,I don't feel like listening to Eric ramble about pop culture"
I glanced at Ryder and saw him looking at the woman in disbelief.
"Eric,Edward whatever he's name is" She completed and hung up.
She looked at Ryder and gave him a sarcastic smile.
"Ryder~ so nice of you to visit"
"Mom,how many times do I have to tell you that I'm sorry? I'll try to visit more"
I raised my eyebrow. What the fuck am I missing here? Mom?
I'm so confused right now?
The lady took her sunglasses off and looked at me. Not going lie,
she's intimidating.
"Are you Jacob?" She asked
"It's Jake,nice to meet you mam"
I said and glared at Ryder,who was snickering.
"Mmm" Was all she said.
"Uhh Jake meet Cat Grant,my mom" Ryder said nervously.
Boy does this guy have some explaining to do. I won't let him off the hook.
"Well come on then,I have better places to be" She said,looking around with a disgusted face.
As we got in,Ryder and Ms Grant were bickering about some guy named Adam Foster? Seriously,
who are these people?
We arrived at a company later on.
Cat.Co Worldwide Media? Wait....
Cat.... Holy,does she own this company?
As if Ryder read my thoughts he said "Welcome to my mom's company"
"So she's legit the Ceo?" I asked in disbelief.
"Yep"
"You know,you've got alot of explaining to do" I reminded him
"Yeah yeah I know" He rolled his eyes.
Meanwhile
Kara's Pov
The elevator door opened and I straightened my glasses before walking out.
I can't believe it,I just got back from war and I'm already working? My life people.
I wonder what Barry's upto? Hopefully things are still fine. I'll just call him afterwards. I'm also planning on surprising Alex.
I miss him so much,I can't wait to get back to Central City.
I walked towards my desk and put my things down.
"Kara?" I heard a voice.
I recognized it as James as I smiled at him.
"James" I immediately hugged him.
"Hey,you alright? I heard about Mars,how did it go?" He asked,talking more quietly.
"Yeah I'm good,it was tiring but I'm glad it's over"
"Where's Winn?" I asked looking around.
"At the D.E.O." He replied.
"I noticed Miss Grant's not here either"
"Yeah she just left actually,don't know where she went though"
James shrugged.
"Okay that gives me more time to settle in"
"Oh and before I forget,Barry called everyday to ask about you"
I blushed a little. We've been married for awhile but I still react
the same.
"I'm going to surprise him though"
"Well good luck,I wouldn't be surprised if he came here physically, it's annoying really"
James shook his head and left.I just chuckled.
A few minutes later,my super hearing activated and I could hear people in the elevator. About
three people? Ms Grant was one of them.
The other two male voices sounded so familiar and I felt.....
nostalgic?
"She's here" I said loud enough for everyone to hear.
The elevator door opened and Ms
Grant stepped out and I saw the other two.....
I paled and gasped. I couldn't move and I stood just there.
No no no..... tell me this isn't happening right now...
