July 3rd, 1985

We stared at the newly opened gate for a solid minute before Robin realized we weren't as confused as her and Erica.

"Wait...you all know about this how?" Robin asked.

"Who cares, we gotta get out of here and tell somebody!" Erica ordered and we all nodded before heading back downstairs.

I didn't think there was anything wrong with the room and was about to grab the door when Dustin stopped me.

"Steve...where's the guy you beat up?" Dustin asked and we turned to find the kid was right...he was gone.

"Shit," Steve exclaimed and ran over to the door before turning back to us. "Run!"

We all jumped into action and ran back upstairs which only succeeded in getting trapped in the same room as the gate machine. I cursed and bolted out of the control room and trekked my way across the catwalk before hopping down to the floor. A couple shocked Russians stared at me as I bolted after Steve who knocked over a bunch of barrels. The barrels slammed into a couple of the guards chasing us but we were still very much screwed. A slight bit of hope came through in the form of a boiler room just off the gate room and we all crashed through the door.

"Dustin! Erica! Go!" Steve exclaimed and stayed back to hold the door in place.

"Seriously, Harrington? Playing the hero are we?" I inquired before slamming my shoulder against the door to keep it in place.

"Hey you stayed to," he shot back and I rolled my eyes.

"No way I'm leaving you behind," I declared and Robin let out a groan from her spot beside me.

"Ugh...you two are so cute, it's disgusting," she said with a glare and I rolled my eyes, watching as Dustin and Erica got a vent open.

"Steve! Come on!" Dustin yelled just as Erica jumped into the vent.

"You guys go! Go get help!" Steve ordered and Dustin stared at him, torn between safety and his surrogate mother.

"What...no...Steve come on. Ren!" Dustin tried but I shook my head.

"Listen to him, you go. Trust me," I assured and Dustin sighed before jumping into the vent.

"I'll never forget you," he said but we just yelled at him.

"Go!"

Dustin pulled the vent closed just as the guards managed to push through the door. The impact knocked the three of us to the ground and I groaned in pain, my hurt shoulder hitting the floor very hard. I sat up dazed and noticed that Steve and Robin were surrounded, guns in their faces. I glared daggers and stood, Steve and I's connection screaming at me that he was in danger.

"Hey!! Get back you assholes!!" I shouted and Steve turned.

"Ren! No!" He protested but I didn't listen and transformed into a wolf before jumping forward, baring my fangs.

A guard I hadn't noticed on my left took the opportunity and shot me point blank with his assault rifle. Sure it was only one round but the immense amount of pain slammed me back into human form. I crashed down next to Steve and glanced down to find blood already beginning to pool around me.

"Shit..."

"Ren! Ren...are you ok?" Steve asked but his voice sounded distant.

"Ugh...I don't know..." I muttered just as the same guard grabbed me and held me up, a twisted grin on his face.

"Hey! Get back you bastard!!" Steve yelled but a different guard punched him and Steve was knocked back down.

"You are intriguing...so very strange...but..." The guard stabbed the end of his rifle into my stomach and I whimpered in pain. "Also...so very dead. How sad. I'll keep you around but only so your friends can watch."

"I'll kill you..." I muttered but the guard just laughed.

"No...we'll kill you," he shot back and dropped me, the darkness threatening to take over finally winning.

***

I woke up what felt like hours later, getting dragged by the ankles by a guard. I moaned in pain just as we reached a room and noticed Robin already tied up inside. I eyed her before turning to find Steve in a similar position as me, getting dragged, but he looked terrible. His face was beat to shit and his left eye looked practically destroyed. I tried to get out of the guards hold but he just dropped me in response and I groaned.

"Steve! Hey!" I said and went to reach out but a second guard stepped on my hand and shoved a gun in my face.

"No...she's dead anyways, tie her up!" The other guard ordered and the one with the gun nodded before putting handcuffs on me and then chaining me to the wall.

The chain was long enough so I could lay down and I did, watching as the guards tied up Steve so his back was against Robin's. Robin eyed Steve as the head guard, the same one who shot me, lifted his head up by his hair. He also wandered over to me, digging the rifle into my side once again.

"It looks as thought your friends both need doctors...don't worry...we have the best doctors," he assured and ended his little taunt in front of Robin. She didn't say anything, just spat in his face and the guard glared before slapping her. "You'll come to regret that."

All the guards walked off, leaving the three of us alone. I managed to sit back and lift my shirt up to find my torso was drenched in blood. I could still move my toes so the bullet missed my spine and apparently anything remotely important. Though...it still sucked cause bullet holes don't tend to get fixed on their own and bleeding lots wasn't that good for your health. Steve was too far for an assist and even if he was closer he wasn't well enough to help anyways. So I was pretty much screwed.

"Ren! Ren, are you okay?"

"Robin?" I asked and she smiled.

"Yeah, it's me, it's Robin. How are you feeling?"

"Like shit," I informed and grinned.

"Makes sense, you did get shot. How's that feeling?"

"Also like shit," I muttered and laid back down, groaning as I went.

"I'm gonna get you out of here and get you help...okay," Robin assured and I nodded, weakly. "All you gotta do is not die. Can you do that for me?"

"I'll try," I muttered and she smiled at me.

"Perfect." Robin sighed before leaning her head back and screaming. "Help!! Help!!"

"Robin, stop, its not worth it," I muttered and she eyed me.

"No, but it might be. What if those two are still here, what if they can hear us and they come find us? Right?" Robin inquired and I shook my head.

"I gotta say, if I was them, I wouldn't still be here," I muttered and she sighed.

"Yeah....I know," she said, sounding defeated.

"But it was a nice thought," I assured just as Steve woke up with a loud gasp.

"Ugh....why are you talking so loud?" He groaned and I grinned.

"Steve!" I exclaimed.

"Steve, oh my God, Steve," Robin said and he swivelled as best he could.

"Wait...Robin?"

"Yeah, it's me. Me and Ren, we're both here," Robin said and Steve glanced at me.

"Partly," I added and laughed but it quickly turned into a fit of coughing.

"Ren, God, what did they do you to you?" Steve inquired and I shrugged.

"Besides the bullet in my stomach...nothing much. How bout you Harrington?"

"Bloody nose, split lip and an eye that might pop out but nothing much else," Steve assured and I tried and failed to give him a thumbs up.

"That's...good. I'm glad. I'd kiss you if I wasn't so far away," I told him and he smirked.

"I know. I'm gonna get you out and kill the bastards that did that to you...okay," Steve assured and I nodded.

"You got it...Harrington."

The last bit was slurred and I found myself nodding off just as Robin slammed her foot down.

"Ren!!! Ren, stay with us. You're gonna be fine...okay," Robin said and I laughed, weakly.

"You guys sound like a broken record...okay, okay, okay. Find some better words next time. Heh...okay."

"Look Ren, you can't die on me cause that would mean I'm trapped here with nobody but Steve 'the hair' Harrington of all people and that sounds terrible," Robin muttered and Steve glanced back at her, looking offended.

"Hey! What the hell did I do?"

"Back in high school you were legit the worse and even though I was a year younger I watched you and your band of assholes torment everyone. My fellow band geeks would get just destroyed by your followers. It was annoying to cause I thought you were a pretty decent dude...but no...they made you into a guy that sucks."

Steve sighed and rested his chin on his chest, already feeling like shit for what he did in school. I knew Robin wasn't making him feel any better but judging by the look on her face, she wasn't done.

"And then a girl comes back to life that I remember from elementary school and I assumed she was dead, trust me, I did but she wasn't. I caught sight of the way you looked at her and something changed, something amazing happened. You were already different and left the two losers in the dust but you were finally a good person. Ren made it possible but you started to change on your own. And all I'm saying is that before, maybe I would be annoyed to die next to King Steve but now...now that I've been stuck with you...I feel almost blessed."

"Damn...Robin...I don't know what to say," Steve muttered as I smiled at the two of them. "But since the words are kinda failing me right now...thank you."

"Anytime, Dingus," Robin muttered and chuckled as I grinned, glad they got along so good.

Though grinning at them made my head hurt even more and I groaned in pain. I nodded off once again but they just wouldn't let me sleep and it was starting to become annoying.

"Ren!!! No, not on my watch. I'm not letting you die in a Russian bunker under a mall where I serve ice cream. That's too pathetic for Ren Freaking Hopper. You got that," Steve said and I smiled.

"You got that...that's better. But you haven't realized they forgot something, something kinda important," I told them and transformed into a cat and back, free of my restraints.

I smiled at the two of them just as the guards returned and gave the head one a glare.

"How intriguing...you thought you could escape," he sneered and I groaned in annoyance.

"Shit...seriously. You couldn't have waited like two minutes," I told them and the one guard walked over and decked me in the face.

I went down hard and groaned in pain, my nose almost instantly starting to bleed.

"No!! Get away from her you bastard!! I swear I'm gonna kill every last freaking Russian in this damn bunker if you lay one more freaking finger on her!!" Steve yelled and the guard grinned.

"Oh...like this."

He grabbed me by my collar and punched me a second time, my nose bleeding even heavier. It felt out of place and I moaned at the fact that it was likely broken as the guard dropped me. Steve began screaming every curse word he could at the Russians but was cut off when one jabbed a needle into his neck.

"Steve! Oh God, what the hell did you do to him," Robin inquired and tried to get a better look at him.

"We calmed him down, you're turn," the Russian said and smiled before stabbing Robin as well.

I was practically powerless and just lay there, bleeding like a faucet and moaning in pain. But since they were both sorta out of it I could finally sleep and smiled before closing my eyes, unsure if they would open again.

***

My eyes luckily did open and I found my vision nearly consumed by a head of brown curly hair stuffed under a hat. I raised a brow before quickly realizing that Dustin was in front of me. I groaned in pain and sat up as the kid moved back, giving me some room.

"Hey, Ren, you good?"

"Dustin? Are you real or dead to?" I asked and he chuckled before placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Real, very real," Dustin assured and I sighed in relief.

"Cool. Can you perhaps pull me over to Steve?"

Dustin nodded and dragged me over to Steve who still hadn't really woken up from whatever they gave him. I reached out and grabbed his ankle, letting out a sigh at the almost instant relief that washed over me. I stood up almost instantly without wobbling even for a second and smiled at Dustin.

"Thank you, that helped a billion, seriously. I'm still hurt and screwed but have been better," I assured and glared down at my blood soaked shirt.

I gingerly pulled off my green button up and ripped off a sleeve before tying it around my waist. I also ripped off the other one and wiped the blood off my hands before shrugging on the now green vest. I smiled at the look just as Steve surged forward from his spot on the chair and hugged me.

"Ren!!!" He yelled and I raised a brow. "Ren, Ren, Ren. Lauren but not Lauren. It's good to see you alive."

I pushed myself away from Steve and stared at him, intrigued by his newfound happiness. His mind was also swimming and wasn't making a lot of sense, just a constant stream of my name.

"What's wrong with him?" I inquired just as Robin also hugged me.

"Ren!! The Russian guy got zapped!! He's Russian barbecue now...isn't that great?" Robin asked and Steve grinned.

"Ha!! Russian barbecue...that's hilarious," Steve assured and pointed towards the smoking corpse in the corner.

"Ok...what's wrong with both of them?" I clarified and Dustin shrugged.

"We have no idea," he muttered just as Steve returned.

"Ren!!" Steve shouted and wrapped me in a bone crushing hug. "Ren, my beautiful Ren. Do you know that I love you like this much. Well...I can't show you cause I'm hugging you but it's a lot."

I nodded, grateful for all the love as Steve kept squishing both me and my bleeding bullet hole. I finally managed to squirm out of his grip and he smiled, keeping one arm looped around mine.

"God, this is gonna get annoying," I declared and Erica scoffed.

"Trust me...it already has."

Dustin and I turned to find Erica was getting pet by Robin who was staring at her with wide eyes.

"What a cute cat," Robin muttered which caught Steve's attention.

"Cat?" He asked and dragged me with him over to Erica but she sidestepped him.

"Let's go before they accidentally get themselves killed," Dustin suggested and I nodded.

"Yeah...no kidding," I muttered as Steve pouted over missing the cat.

I rolled my eyes before dragging him out of the room and into a cart that Dustin and Erica grabbed. We all piled in with the two kids in front and me getting dragged into the back by Steve. He kept his arms firmly wrapped around me as Dustin drove like a maniac back down the hallway.

"Jesus! Slow down man!" Steve ordered and banged on the metal grate acting as a window.

"Yeah, what is this, like the Indy 500?" Robin asked and Steve eyed her.

"It's the Indy 300," Steve shot back and Robin frowned.

"No dingus, it's 500."

"It's 300!"

"Let's say a million," Robin suggested and they both started laughing as I let out a sigh.

"Dustin...please save me from these two," I whined and Steve frowned at me.

"Hey!! I'm great company!!" He shot back and planted a kiss on my lips.

I smiled at the gesture but it was mildly ruined thanks to the fact that he had a split lip.

"You taste like blood," I muttered and Steve smiled.

"Aww...you're such a vampire," he shot back and booped my nose before letting out a laugh.

"Did you see anything Ren?" Dustin inquired and I shook my head.

"Nope, I got knocked out by one of the guards. I'm assuming it's a drug tho," I informed having been able to sense the drugs in Steve's mind and Robin's.

"Great...what are we gonna--"

"Dustin watch out!!" Erica shouted and he slammed on the breaks causing us all to jolt forward.

I groaned in pain, Steve having partially landed on me as Dustin and Erica hopped out of the front. They pulled open the back door and I scrambled out of it, sighing at the fact that I was finally free.

"You alright?" Dustin inquired and I gave him a thumbs down since I was free but felt like shit.

"Nope...but I'll be fine," I assured and turned to cough into the sleeve I tore off my shirt.

I glared at the splattering of red on the green fabric and stuffed it in my pocket, knowing I could worry about that later.

"Come on!! Out!!" Dustin ordered and Steve sighed before hopping out of the cart.

"Ow...I'm coming," he muttered and pulled Robin out as I coughed again, swaying a tad bit.

Steve rushed forward and wrapped an arm around me to steady me as I rolled my eyes.

"Steve...let me go," I told him but he shook his head.

"Nope...stay," Steve informed and I sighed before we entered the elevator.

Steve almost instantly let me go before jumping on a cart just as Dustin swiped the key card. Robin began to push the cart back and forth as Steve stood, holding his arms out and smiling.

"Woo-hoo you look like you're surfing!" Robin declared.

"Woo!! I love surfing!" Steve assured.

"They seem drunk," Erica muttered.

"Why would they be drunk?" Dustin asked as I shook my head, knowing it definitely wasn't alcohol.

"I'm a natural. Check it out!" Steve shouted just as he got knocked off the cart.

"They're gonna die...just look at them," I said and let out a sigh before taking a seat, my head pounding.

"I'm not gonna die! I'm strong!" Steve shouted and tried to sit up but groaned and fell back down.

Dustin wandered over and stuffed a hand on Steve's forehead as he tried to swat it away.

"He's burning up. Steve...are you drugged?" Dustin asked and Steve shook his head.

"How many times dad!! I don't do drugs, just Marijuana!" Steve argued and Dustin rolled his eyes.

I knew for a fact that he had never even touched Marijuana.

"Steve! Listen to me...what happened to you?"

"What happened to you?" Steve shot back and booped Dustin's nose as the kid sighed.

"Ugh...they are so dead," he deadpanned and I nodded in agreement.

"We all die my strange little child friend, just a matter of how and when," Robin muttered as she sat on the cart, grinning at the lot of us.

I stared at Robin, not really knowing what to make of that cryptic statement as Dustin tried to get Steve to talk.

"Steve...listen to me, we need to know where you parked your car...ok. We're gonna be at the mall soon..."

"Oo...can we stop by the food court?" Steve asked and cut him off.

"I would love a hot dog on a stick," Robin added and Dustin sighed, his patience definitely wearing thin.

"Yes, you can have food, but you have to focus. Where is your car?"

"Uh oh...no car," Steve informed.

Dustin stared at him. "What...why?"

"They took the keys. The Russians took the keys like forever ago," Steve informed and showed off his empty pockets as Robin laughed.

"Lovely, just great," I muttered just as the elevator made it and stopped.

We all filed out into the night air as Steve once again draped an arm around my shoulder. He smiled and leaned his head back, taking in big gulps of air as Robin did the same.

"Oh my God! That tastes so good! Steve, can you taste the air?" Robin asked and Steve nodded, giving her a thumbs up.

"I taste it, I taste it!"

He tried to get me to taste it and I was about to when two Russian's appeared. They glanced at the elevator and Dustin barely managed to drag us inside a side door before they saw us. Dustin led us down the corridor behind the store as Erica eyed him.

"Where are we going?" She asked.

"Trust me!" Dustin assured and pulled open a door to reveal the lobby of the movie theatre inside the mall. "All clear."

We all followed Dustin over to one of the theatres and Steve grabbed a bucket of tossed out popcorn before I could stop him. I rolled my eyes as we trekked our way to near the front where there were three empty seats.

"You two sit," Dustin ordered.

"These seats are too close," Robin protested and Steve nodded.

"Dude, these seats blow."

"Then don't watch the movie," Dustin told them and they were quick to take a seat, shushing a guy that shushed them.

"We wanna watch it," Robin shot back and Dustin sighed.

"Fine...the watch it. Just don't go anywhere," Dustin ordered and Steve groaned.

"Fine...dad!"

Dustin rolled his eyes and turned to me. "Ren?"

I was just about to follow when Steve grabbed me, dragging me to the spot beside him.

"Steve..." I started but he grabbed my hand and wouldn't let go.

"No, no leaving," Steve protested and I rolled my eyes.

"I'll stay, my son needs me."

Dustin nodded and walked off leaving me with Steve.

"Do you know what's going on?" Steve asked Robin and she shook her head.

"Nope."

He shrugged and gave me a kiss as I sighed knowing exactly what was going on. I had a free day in Lafayatte so I went to see the movie on the screen, Back to the Future. It was amazing and I had been bugging Steve about it since I first found out about it. I didn't have the heart to tell him I saw it without him but now he was watching it, all drugged and loopy.

It might not be the best way to enjoy the movie but he looked happy and actually stayed rooted in place until about halfway. I wanted to stay but followed the two of them since I was worried and they had gotten paler. I was pretty sure the Russian's used LSD to make them loopy so they were suffering from coming down off their high. It would take a bit to wear off and at the moment Steve was drowning the drug in water from a water fountain.

"That's amazing," Steve muttered after coming up for air.

"So, I wasn't totally focused in there but...I'm pretty sure that mom was trying to bang her son," Robin muttered and I eyed her from my spot leaning heavily against the wall.

"Wait...the hot chick was Alex P Keaton's mom?" Steve asked and I rolled my eyes.

We had watched Family Ties together a LOT and Marty McFly just so happened to be played by Alex's actor, Micheal J. Fox. Another fact that I was excited about and one of the reasons why I was dragging Steve with me to the movie.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure," Robin muttered.

"But...they're the same age," Steve said and she sighed at him.

"No, but he went back in time."

"Then why is it called...Back to the Future?" Steve asked and I had to admit he had a valid point.

"He has to go, back to the future, because he's in the past. So the future is actually the present, which is his time."

"What?" Steve asked and Robin sighed before shoving him out of the way.

"It's my turn, you've had enough," Robin declared and Steve nodded before stepping back and smiling up at the ceiling.

I walked over and glanced up, fully aware that the LSD was finally starting to wear off.

"Wow...hey Robin, you gotta check this out," Steve muttered and she was quick to join him.

"Wow..."

"Steve...." I began but he shook his head and grabbed my hand.

"No...ceiling."

I rolled my eyes just as the guy faltered for a second before they both bolted into the nearest bathroom. I sighed and followed, wandering into the ladies room to find the two of them emptying their guts into the toilet.

"I'm never having kids," I muttered and Steve stopped puking in order to frown at me.

"Nope, think again," he assured and I glared at him.

"You shut up," I shot back and he rolled his eyes before puking some more.

***

It took them around twenty minutes to actually stop and I took the opportunity to clean my wound and reapply the button up sleeve bandage. It wasn't perfect but with some toilet paper it was secure and I wasn't gonna bleed to death. I sighed in relief before heading over to Steve's stall and sliding down the wall next to him. Steve wrapped an arm around me and I rolled my eyes before leaning my head on his shoulder.

"The ceiling stopped spinning for me, did it stop for you?" Robin asked and Steve looked up.

"Holy shit...it did."

"Do you think it's all gone?" Robin asked.

"That depends....think very hard and say bubbles with a really angry voice," I told them and they did before bursting into fits of laughter. "Yep...its not gone."

"How about this...Ren, you ask us both questions...okay," Robin suggested and glanced at me from under the stall wall.
"Sure..."

"But I'm going first," Robin declared.

I rolled my eyes before stretching my legs out. "Whatever you want."

"So...Robin...do your worse," Steve said and she chuckled.

"Have you...ever been in love?"

"I am right now. And will be for a very long time," Steve assured and I smiled.

"So you'd marry Ms. Ren...huh?" Robin asked and my breath caught in my throat.

"I'd marry her tomorrow," Steve assured and I stared at him, having legit stopped breathing.

"Wait....what???"

"It's true...I so would," he said and I shook my head.

"You're just drugged and delusional and have gotten punched in the face....a lot," I said and ran a hand along his swollen cheek.

"No Ren, I'm serious. You should marry me. In fact...will you marry me?"

I stared at Steve, my eyes wide as he grinned, looking dead serious. Robin poked her head out from under the stall and smiled at the two of us.

"Oh my God!!! He just proposed!" Robin exclaimed and Steve nodded.

"Yeah I did! So...?"

"Uh...in case you don't remember this conversation, I'll remind you about it and I'll tell you I said yes," I informed and Steve grinned, his cheeks flushing. He gave me a very deep kiss and I smiled against his lips, shocked I technically just got engaged. "Uh...Robin...have you ever been in love?"

She got quiet for a second and I raised a brow at the fact that her mind was hesitant to answer. Her mind eventually decided we were safe to tell and Robin let out a sigh.

"Yeah...I have. It was in 10th grade but the feeling sadly wasn't mutual."

"Who was it?" I asked and she let out a breath.

"Steve and I had Mrs. Clicks history class together every Tuesday and Thursday. It was first period so he was always late and would stumble into the room, bagel in hand, joking up a storm. He sat in front of me, but never looked behind him. And even though he wouldn't pay me any attention, wouldn't even glance at me, I was still obsessed with him, like every other stupid girl."

"Robin I'm flattered but--"

"I wasn't in love with you Harrington, not everyone loves you. I was in love with her," Robin said and cut him off as Steve and I raised a brow.

We slid under the stall wall and sat in front of Robin as she wiped a couple tears.

"Who?" Steve asked and placed a hand on Robin's knee.

"Tammy Thompson. Stupidly pretty yet stupidly clueless Tammy Thompson. She sat beside you and would forever only look at you, would laugh at all your jokes and sigh in pleasure every time you fixed your stupid hair. Yet you didn't care. She cared, she cared so much she never looked behind you. I was so jealous of the way she always looked at you," Robin said and sniffled, "and I hated the fact that she never looked at me. Not even once."

"Wait...but Tammy's a girl," Steve muttered and I rolled my eyes.

"Steve..."

"Oh..." He muttered, the realization dawning on his face.

"You must've known, right mind reader?" Robin asked and nudged me.

"Yeah....I could tell, or at least I sensed it. I guess Tammy doesn't like ice cream...huh?"

"Nope...She doesn't like ice cream or me," Robin muttered and gathered her knees against her chest before sobbing.

I glared daggers and tightened my hand into a first before banging it against the wall.

"You know what...Fuck Tammy Thompson," I declared and Robin sighed.

"Uh...yeah...I've been trying and failing."

"No...like in a bad way. I always thought she sucked in senior year and that proves it. Anybody who doesn't notice Robin...just plain sucks. Its official," I assured and she sighed.

"Thanks...but I'm pretty worthy or sucking," Robin sighed which made my angrier.

"You know what...Fuck that to. You are the coolest damn girl that I've ever met in my entire life. Not only did you put up with Steve's crap everyday but you also didn't care about my powers, cracked a secret Russian code, found a world ending device, got us into that stupid elevator and just admitted something major league important to two people who you just met. That takes major freaking guts. Like major," I assured and she was about to protest but I cut her off. "So Tammy Thompson can go sing her horrible off key Cindi Lauper somewhere else cause no one messes with Robin. There are so many girls out there who would absolutely kill for a wicked, badass girlfriend like you and I guarantee you're gonna find one. Cause if you can put with this dingus for a month then you can damn well do anything. And that's for sure true. I 120% guarantee it."

They both stared at me as I breathed in deep a couple times, trying to catch my breath.

"Wow...that was pretty damn cool," Robin stated and Steve nodded.

"No shit."

"Maybe I should marry her," Robin shot at Steve and he chuckled.

"She's mine, sorry, and I agree with all of that, Tammy Thompson sucked at singing," Steve informed and Robin stared at him, offended.

"No she did not."

"She sounded like a muppet giving birth to a mixtape of just 1 million dying cows."

They both stared at me before we all burst out laughing just as Dustin burst through the bathroom door, glaring at the lot of us.

"Where the hell have you been?"

We all stared at him before laughing again so hard it hurt. Today was strange yet also incredible and that moment with Robin brought the three of us so much closer. She deserved all the happiness in the world and I made a promise to myself to guarantee that she gets it. It was also a big day for Steve and I since it sounded like I was now engaged. A whole ass fiancé before I turned twenty, what a feat. I just had to hope that whatever the future brings and whatever the others have been up to doesn't ruin everything.

For something told me that we were missing out on a lot...like, a lot, A LOT. And it was all about to come full circle.

There you are, I hope you liked it and I got to add in the bathroom scene...Yay! I love that scene and hate the fanfics that replace Robin with their OC and omit the scene. I was not doing that and didn't and besides...Ren and Steve are technically engaged...😮

Also...there is one left for season 3 and then 4 sort of non-canon AU chapters, including 2 that set up season 4. See you then!!
