It is now a few days after Lena went shopping for her wedding dress, and Kara and Lena are sitting at home in their penthouse, while Alura and Morgan run about, playing games together. Today is a weekday, so Alura went to school, Morgan continued her work with the private tutor, and Kara and Lena both went to work. So right now the family are all just enjoying each other's company, and relaxing.
Over these last few days though, Lena has had anything but a relaxing time, as she both has had to deal with multiple issues at L-Corp that have cropped up, and she has had to deal with finding the right designer to make her wedding dress. Dealing with the latter problem, Lena has realised that designing a custom wedding dress is a lot more intensive than she first thought it would be. So, Lena now knows that for the designer to even begin to design the wedding dress for her, she is going to have to meet them in person, and then spend multiple hours having all of her body measured intimately, just so the wedding dress will be a perfect fit. Of course, Lena knew that she would have to do this already, but she has recently found out that the process could take as long as 4 hours. However, after making a few phone calls, Lena has found a wedding dress designer who she is happy to work with, and booked an appointment with her for next week, while also having done multiple mock up drawings of the wedding dress design she has in her mind.
"What are you thinking of?" Kara asks Lena, as the two fiancés sit next to one another, with the CEO being lost in thought.
"Not much. I was just thinking about how I want my wedding dress to look." Lena explains, "Imagining it in my mind."
"You not going to give me any details? Even a small little one?" Kara asks.
"Nope. I want you to be entirely surprised on our wedding day." Lena says.
"Okay. Fair enough." Kara smiles, and places a kiss on one of Lena's cheeks.
Kara and Lena then sit there and snuggle for a little while, with Lena's head resting on one of Kara's shoulders as the two parents watch their kids playing, and running about before them.
"Darling?" Lena soon asks.
"Yeah?" Kara replies.
"I've been thinking....." Lena says, but then trails off.
"Oh, that's dangerous." Kara teases.
Lena chuckles.
"I'm not sure how you feel about it.... or what you think.... but.... I think that after we get married..... we should move to an actual house." Lena says.
"What? You don't like our penthouse?" Kara asks.
"I do." Lena says, "But.... you see the girls running about.... and..... I just feel it's a shame we don't have a real garden for them to run about in.... and just be kids.... I mean.... we have our garden on the roof.... But it's not real grass.... or a real garden...... I would like a place with just more space.... where Morgan and Alura could play in the garden, get dirty, and have all sorts of adventures together."
Kara smiles upon hearing Lena say that.
"That sounds nice." Kara says, "But what about this place? I know you put A LOT of money into refurbishing it before Alura and I moved in here with you."
Lena chuckles.
"The amount of money I spent on this place, is literally nothing to me." Lena says, "I guess.... most people don't understand the true scale of billionaire's wealth. But.... to put it into perspective.... the amount of money I spent on the refurbishments to this place..... in terms of wealth scale.... is probably the same amount of money the average person spends on groceries in a week."
"Oh...." Kara says, "Still.... it was a lot of money.... even if you are richer than Rao himself."
Lena chuckles.
"Richer in love, certainly." Lena smiles, and places a kiss on one of Kara's cheeks, "But... back to your point.... I'd still keep this place. I think..... it would be nice to have our home in the city... maybe on weekdays when I'll have to work late at L-Corp.... then for weekends... and times when you and I don't work late.... we can spend it in our house."
"That does sound nice." Kara smiles, lovingly.
"So..... what do you think?" Lena asks.
"I think we should do it." Kara says, with a nod, "But.... I don't want us to wait until after our wedding. I'm sure whatever home we get, you'll want to do updates to.... and I would like you to add extra security and everything.... So..... it'll be nice to actually get the home sooner, and then just wait the few months it takes for the home to be refurbished, or upgraded, whatever you want to call it."
Lena chuckles at Kara saying that.
"Alright then." Lena smiles, "I guess we can start looking from tomorrow."
"Yeah." Kara agrees, with a nod of her head, "But.... maybe we should include Alura and Morgan in it too? At least ask them things they'd want in a home."
"Good idea." Lena smiles, "Girls?!"
Lena and Kara then hear Morgan and Alura coming running towards them.
"Yes, momma?" Alura asks, with a big smile, while Morgan stands next to her with her own big smile.
"Momma and I were just talking.... and... if we were to move.... into a house.... with more space.... and a garden and everything.... is there anything you would like us to have in the home?" Kara asks.
"A swimming pool!" Alura says, quickly.
Lena and Kara both chuckle.
"We should have guessed that." Lena smirks, "A swimming pool, got it."
"Morgan?" Kara asks, turning to look at the 4-year-old.
"Uhhmmmm.... I don't know." Morgan says, "I just want us to all stay together."
"And we will." Lena smiles, lovingly, reaching out for her youngest daughter.
Morgan allows Lena to pull her towards her, and take her in for a hug.
"Yeah." Kara says, leaning over and placing a kiss on the top of Morgan's head, "We are staying together forever. But maybe in a new space, where you two can run about more, in a nice garden or something."
"I'd like that." Morgan smiles, happily.
"Me too!" Alura says, eagerly.
Alura then joins Kara, Lena and Morgan on the couch, where Kara takes the 6-year-old in for a hug, making it a big family hug.

It is now a few days later, and today is the day that Kara is going wedding dress shopping, with Winn, J'onn, Alex, Sam, Eliza and Elizabeth all accompanying her to the wedding dress shop. Lena, for her part, has the kids, all by herself this time, however, instead of doing something like taking Alura, Ruby and Morgan to a park, like Kara did with Winn, the CEO has decided to keep it simple. So, Lena has just taken the kids to go see a movie, and then they might play some arcade games in the movie theatre afterwards, depending on the time.
Today Kara's group is in a completely different wedding dress shop to the one that Lena was in with everyone. They specifically decided to do this because they thought it would lessen the chance of Kara and Lena getting the same, or similar, wedding dresses. However, just like in the other wedding dress store, Alex and Sam are having a good time drinking all the champagne that they can get their hands on.
"You know.... you are both supposed to be helping me." Kara huffs, looking at Alex and Sam, as she walks out into the main room in her third wedding dress.
"Sorry sis." Alex smirks, "It's just.... we've done this already.... and it is a bit tedious for us."
"Well.... if it's so tedious for you.... then you can just leave." Kara says, in an annoyed tone.
"Alex didn't mean it like that, Kara." Sam says, in a soft voice, "We.... are just trying to relax a bit... so we don't get bored... as it is a lot of waiting."
"Yeah." Alex agrees, "I don't mean to be rude, or diminish what this means for you or anything. I know, for us, today is just us sitting here and helping a second person decide on a wedding dress. But for you, this is an important day, where you will choose what wedding dress you want to wear for one of the most important days of your life."
Kara sighs after Alex says that, feeling a lot less angry at her sister right now.
"Okay.... Thank you.." Kara says, "Just.... don't get drunk, please."
"I'm on it!" Winn says, and takes the champagne glasses from Sam and Alex, and then downs them.
"Hey!" Sam pouts.
"Winn, you realise you are a complete lightweight, right?" Alex asks, "You'll get drunk a lot quicker than us."
"Maybe." Winn replies, already feeling a bit less steady on his feet from drinking almost 2 glasses of champagne in such quick succession, "But I'm more so here for moral support, as I don't know ANYTHING about wedding dresses. So, I can get a bit drunk."
Kara rolls her eyes.
"Can we get back to helping me?" Kara asks.
"Ignore them, honey." Eliza says, walking towards Kara, with Elizabeth following her.
Eliza then takes a moment to look at Kara in her wedding dress. Currently, Kara is trying on a wedding dress that has a much bigger bottom to it.
"So, what do you think of this dress?" Eliza asks, once she finishes looking at her daughter in it.
Kara sighs.
"I don't know. I just kind of feel..... meh.... It doesn't feel like me." Kara explains, "I mean.... it's a beautiful dress.... and I would be fine wearing it on my wedding day.... But.... I don't know.... from the movies.... and TV shows.... people are supposed to get like an incredible feeling when they try on their dress which they know is their wedding dress, and I didn't get that feeling trying this on."
"Hmmm..." Eliza hums, "Well, I have to admit. I don't really think this wedding dress is you."
Kara sighs again.
"Then what is me?" Kara asks.
Elizabeth now walks closer to Kara.
"May I give my input?" Elizabeth asks.
"Of course. I didn't just invite you here to be polite. I would love your input!" Kara says.
"Well...." Elizabeth begins, "Lena went about deciding on her wedding dress in a bit more of a precise way. She honed in on things she liked, and slowly got a picture in her mind of the dress she wants."
"Okay...." Kara nods.
"So.... what about this dress do you like, and don't like?" Elizabeth asks.
"Hmmmm." Kara hums, as she turns to look herself in the mirror again, "Well..... I kind of like the straps over my shoulders. I think I would prefer that to having sleeves, or just having a dress that is under the shoulders."
"Okay." Elizabeth nods, "And what else?"
"Hmmmmm..... There isn't really anything else. I really don't like how large this bottom bit is. It makes me feel like I'm going to trip over myself." Kara explains.
"Okay then." Elizabeth nods, "So from that, we know you want a dress with straps like this, but not a large bottom. That is some progress. We can narrow your choices from there."
"Yes, okay. Thank you." Kara smiles at her future mother-in-law.
Just like Lena did, Kara then proceeds to try on a few different dress types slowly ruling each of them out for various reasons. However, Kara does eventually decide that she very much likes the Empire wedding dress style. That specific dress style is tight in the torso, and flowing at the bottom, but not as large as a ball gown dress, and bigger at the bottom than a sheath wedding dress.
"What do you think, Kar?" Alex asks her sister, now in the dressing room with her.
Kara sighs.
"I mean..... I like it..... I like the style.... but..... I don't have that feeling.... You know?" Kara says.
Alex nods her head, and looks at Kara's reflection in the mirror, the two sisters being the only ones in Kara's dressing room right now.
"What do you think is missing?" Alex asks.
Kara then proceeds to grow a thoughtful look on her face as she looks at herself in the mirror for the next few moments.
"I..... obviously I want it to be a dress with straps...... but.... I don't know.... I guess.... it just doesn't feel like me, you know?" Kara says.
"Hmmmm.... yeah." Alex agrees, "What about something from Krypton?"
"What do you mean?" Kara asks.
"I mean.... you've told me before that Krypton's clothing style was a lot more loose and drapey, with capes and everything. So how about you come up with something like that, that you can incorporate into your wedding dress, that adds a bit of Krypton, a bit of you, to it?" Alex suggests.
Kara's eyes go wide at Alex making this suggestion.
"Alex, you're a genius!" Kara exclaims, taking her sister in for a hug.
Alex chuckles, and hugs her sister back.
"I know. But it's good to hear confirmation of it." Alex says, in a playful voice.
Kara backs from the hug and rolls her eyes.
"I don't think they'll have a wedding dress that has some Krypton style to it though." Kara says.
"That's fine." Alex says, "Lena's having her wedding dress designed from how she imagines it will be, you could do that same thing."
"I'm not as capable as Lena.... in drawing detailed sketches of designs like wedding dress though." Kara says.
"You're not." Alex agrees, "But you could still work with a wedding dress designer, that you like, and give them detailed input into a type of wedding dress you'd want. They could then come up with the drawings for you, and you can work from there."
"Yes, that's a great idea!" Kara smiles, taking her sister in for another hug again.

Alex, Sam and Ruby are now all just arriving back at their home, after Ruby spent most of the day with Lena, Alura and Morgan, while Alex and Sam helped Kara wedding dress shopping.
"So, what do you guys want for dinner?" Alex asks, with a smile, once they all walk into the house.
"I don't know." Ruby says.
"I don't mind." Sam says, "But do you mind cooking, Alex? I have a bit of a headache."
"Another one?" Alex asks.
"It's fine. I think I just drank too much." Sam says.
"Hmmm." Alex hums, and decides not to say anything else in front of Ruby that could worry the 13-year-old, "Alright. Take some headache tablets and I'll sort out our dinner."
After this, Alex decides to cook them all some nice steaks on the grill, with the trio having a lovely dinner together, and curling up on the couch after, with Ruby sitting between both Alex and Sam, being so very comfortable with Alex now. Eventually though, Sam and Alex put Ruby to bed, and the two future wives return back downstairs to the living room.
"Sam, please, I really do want you to get medically checked." Alex says, "You've been getting these headaches for a while now, and I'm getting worried."
"It's fine, Alex. I'm sure it's nothing." Sam says, dismissively.
"Maybe it is." Alex says, "But it's better to be safe than sorry."
Sam sighs.
"I don't want to go through all the hassle of having medical checks, and making a big deal out of it, probably scaring Ruby, just to find out everything is fine." Sam says.
"How about...... we all have medical checks done on us? Me, you, Ruby, Kara, Lena, Morgan and Alura?" Alex suggests, "That way Lena and I can both run them together, and no one will be too worried. Everyone will just think we decided to all get medically checked."
"Yes, okay." Sam smiles, after a moments silence, "I'll do that."
"Good." Alex says, with some relief in her voice.
"But you have to promise me you won't tell Lena or Kara about my headaches or anything, and that it is the true reason for the tests." Sam says.
"I promise." Alex says.
Sam smiles at Alex, and then takes her in for a kiss. The kiss itself lasts a little while before they part from one another.
"How's your headache now?" Alex asks.
"All gone. See, it's nothing." Sam says.
"Hmmm... We'll find out soon enough." Alex replies.
There is then a silence in the room, but not a tense or awkward one or anything.
"Alex?" Sam eventually asks.
"Yeah?" Alex replies, turning to look at Sam.
"I want you to adopt Ruby." Sam says.
"What?!" Alex says, being very much surprised by Sam bringing this up right now.
"I mean.... I know you are already Ruby's other godmother, but with us being engaged now.... and going to be a family.... I want Ruby to feel like she is a part of all this too.... So.... I'd like you to adopt Ruby." Sam says.
Alex now grows a concerned look on her face.
"Where is this coming from?" Alex asks, "Is.... is this because you are more worried about your headaches than you have been letting on?"
"No." Sam quickly says, "It... actually comes from Kara and Lena adopting Morgan. It has got me thinking about that whole process.... and I thought maybe it's time that you finally adopt Ruby too."
"Oh." Alex says, "Well..... I'd love to adopt Ruby. But.... only if she wants me to, of course."
"Oh, I'm very confident she'll want you too." Sam smiles, "You're already her other mom, and she loves you so very much. You may not have noticed it, but she now refuses to go to sleep unless you have also come into her bedroom to say goodnight to her."
"Oh." Alex says, her heart feeling very warm right now.
"So?" Sam says.
"So, what?" Alex asks.
"Do you want to adopt Ruby?" Sam asks.
"I've already said I will." Alex replies, "But... I do want to ask Ruby about it first, even if you have said you're sure she'll say yes."
"Okay." Sam nods, with a smile, "But once she does say yes, I'll get the paperwork started."
"Alright." Alex smiles, feeling very happy now, excited that hopefully soon, legally, she will be seen as Ruby's other mom. Alex will finally have a kid that's hers.

Over the last day and a bit Lillian has been travelling from her location in Brazil to the Levithan headquarters. Of course, seeing as Lillian is travelling this way, and not via shadow woman teleportation, to stop her from knowing where the Leviathan headquarters exactly is, they have had her blindfolded for a lot of the time. Then on top of that, Lillian is pretty sure that they have purposely travelled towards the Leviathan base in a very weird way just to confuse her. So far they have travelled via private jet, twice, by train, and multiple car rides. However, despite Lillian being blindfolded for so much of her journey, she is a smart woman, so she has been able to take in certain information to make a reasonable guess as to where she is, and where the Leviathan base might be. This information includes, the side of her face that Lillian has felt the sun, even when blindfolded, thereby being able to work out which direction they were travelling in. Then Lillian has also overheard people speaking in a few different languages, and on top of all that, Lillian has been able to time the length of each journey, which gives her a good idea as to how far they have travelled.
From everything that Lillian has been able to take in, and all the limited information she has been able to gather, Lillian is pretty sure that right now they are somewhere in Italy. Lillian has worked this out because she already knows that the Leviathan headquarters are very likely located in some form of mountain range, and Italy does have many mountain ranges. Then the first flight that Lillian took from Brazil was far too long to be travelling somewhere in North or South America, and at the same time she heard someone speaking English after they landed. After this, Lillian then went on a second flight, after briefly being driven somewhere for a few hours, likely from one airport to another, with the flight being very brief, of just over an hour. Once they landed, Lillian heard some people speaking French, so her mind had worked out that they were likely somewhere in the south of France. After that, they then travelled on a train for several hours where Lillian heard all sorts of different European languages, before finally getting in a car, which is where Lillian is right now.
Lillian soon feels the sun suddenly disappear from her face, just like she did on the train several hours ago. But on the train Lillian knew that was because the sun was going down, and that shouldn't be the case right now.
"We've arrived." The shadow woman Leviathan agent says, "You can take off your blindfold."
Lillian slowly takes off her blindfold, allowing her eyes to adjust to the limited light, which she is seeing for the first time in a day and a bit. The only real time Lillian has been able to take off her blindfold before now, is when she has gone to the bathroom, and while inside each bathroom, she has been unable to make out anything that would tell her where she was.
Lillian looks around and sees that she is in the back of a rather fancy car, with the car being inside some large parking lot/entrance, inside of a building or something. Lillian soon then gets out of the car, and that is when she sees that she isn't inside a building, instead they are inside a base which has been built into a mountain, as Lillian can see that the place they are in is more like an excavated cave than a building. There are then two large garage doors built into one side of the room they are in, which Lillian has realised is where they drove into the cave base from.
Lillian continues to look around the entrance to the base for a few more moments, taking everything in. As Lillian does this, a Leviathan agent that the Luthor matriarch doesn't recognise approaches them, says something to the shadow woman, and then takes their bags out of the trunk of the car, and wordlessly walks further into the base.
"Talia is currently dealing with some issues, so she is not here to greet us." The shadow woman says to Lillian, "But I am to escort you to your room, where your bags will be taken, and you will then meet Talia's sister, Nyssa."
"Her sister?" Lillian asks, surprised, this being the first time she has even found out that Talia has a sister.
"Yes." The shadow woman nods, as they begin walking into the base, "Nyssa Al Ghul is Talia's younger sister. She is much more involved, directly, with our operations across the globe. Talia overseas everything, but Nyssa is her eyes and ears. She even oversaw our operation in South America for a brief time."
"She did?" Lillian asks, surprised again, "Which one was she?"
"You didn't see her. None of us did." The shadow woman explains, "She likes to watch from a distance, from the shadows, being completely unseen. It's rare for her to ever actually interact with a member of Leviathan that isn't her sister."
After hearing this, Lillian finds this information very interesting, but also a little frightening, as a part of her worries as to why she is meeting Nyssa now. Lillian knows it's not just out of curtesy because Talia can't greet her.
"Hmmm...." Lillian hums, "Does she..... have shadow powers like you?"
"No." The shadow woman replies, "She does not. But she is a capable warrior, and able fighter. When a Leviathan agent has disobeyed commands, or gone rogue, Nyssa is the one Talia sends to... 'fix the situation."
Lillian slightly shudders upon hearing that, being a lot more afraid now. The Luthor matriarch is very scared as to what may await her on her meeting with Nyssa, which is only moments away.
