Bonding time!

Suzuki and shikadai was walking .on there way to shikadai's house he was gonna stay there for a while and then go home before night time and yes he did ask his mother for permission to go to a friends house and she agreed
he loves his mother so much,he just wish his father would come home once in a while..mom seemed so Loney without him ,did dad even love mom?,he wants to ask his mother that question but ...he doesn't wanna bother her she seems so busy now a days,she should take some time off for herself a bit
" Suzuki, you alright?,you seem deep in thought" he heard shikadai speak to him,turning his head towards shikadai he gives a tiny smileand rubs the back of his neck
" Yeah I'm fine,just thinking about stuff" shikadai makes an 'oh' face and puts his hands in his pockets making a bored face
" So..I see you don't train anymore " shikadai quietly says,suzuki nods while looking down sadly " yeah I don't wanna make my mom worry so much about my health,she has her own stuff to worry about" shikadai can hear the sadness in his voice
" Mind telling me why your so sad? " suzuki quickly waves his hands in front of his face with a nervous face " w-what I'm not sad " shikadai raises a brow at this and continues to watch him making suzuki quietly sigh,making his arms fall beside him
" Your not gonna back down are you?" He asks him,shikadai nods at him .. they continue to walk and suzuki puts his hands in his pockets while looking down at the ground
" well it's just that.. my dad's never been home and I've never even seen his face before ,all these years it was just my mother raising me and my sister! And when I ask my mom about him she just says that he's doing important work!" Suzuki says as he angrily grits his teeth,shikadai just looks at him and sighs putting his hands behind his neck while looking up to the sky
" Ah .. I see what's going on here .. you yearn for your father to be home,as your mother says he has a lot of work to do so that's why he's never home,look suzuki i over heard my dad talking to lord seventh,you know what I heard? ,they were talking about your dad , they said that he's never home because he's busy protecting this village from enemy's, Suzuki,you should be thankful for the father you got ,not everyone has a father like yours, so stop moping and asking questions, just keep in mind that your dad probably loves the family he has"
shikadai says with a tiny smile while still looking at the sky and with his hands behind his neck
suzuki couldn't form words at what he just heard,he felt like crying,but he held his tears back smiling at shikadai, he steps infront of him making shikadai suprise, " what's wrong suzu—! " Without saying a word he pulls shikadai in for a hug ,making his eyes go wide at this,Suzuki was hugging him
Shikadai smiles a soft smile afterwards and hugs him back,they hug for a minute,Suzuki pulling back first,shikadai was surprised at Suzuki's big smile,he usually gives small smiles
" Thanks for the talk shikadai!,this is why your my best friend " shikadai smiles at his words,so this was the happy side of suzuki " your such a drag suzuki" he said sighing while giving a smile at him
" Well let's go" they continue to walk to the Nara residence ,while they talked over games,Suzuki didn't technically like games but if his friends loved it he loved it
Time skip!
They made it to shikadai's house,when Suzuki looked up at this house it was huge,wow who knew the Nara family had such wealth ,but yet again his mother made a lot of money too so he had something to brag about
Suzuki was never at the Nara residence,no wonder he was surprised to see there house
they walked in to the yard,Suzuki with his hands in his pockets " wow shikadai your house is really big" he said keeping his eyes on the house,shikadai laughed nervously at him with his eyes closed and his hand behind his head,rubbing it
" Haha, yeah we get that lot " he sighed out they walked up to there door and shikadai slides it open " I'm home! " He called out,taking of his shoes ,Suzuki doing the same.seeing his mother cooking dinner she turns around and smiles when she sees him ,seeing Suzuki behind him she makes a suprised face
" Shikadai you didn't tell me your gonna bring a friend over, and by that Suzuki " she says with a raised brow,shikadai smiles at his mom " yeah sorry mom you were so busy yesterday that I couldn't tell you" he says rubbing the back of his neck, a little bit scared of his mom,he knows how evil she can be
Temari only smiles at him "it's fine shikadai , welcome Suzuki would you like to have dinner while your here? " she asks, Suzuki nervously smiles and waves his hands around " n-no thank you Ms temari , I'll eat at my house ,I'm sure my mother made a lot of food for when I get home" he says ,temari raises a brow at him but smiles at him
" Oh is that it,and don't call me ms temari it makes me feel old just call me temari " she says before going back to making the dinner,suzuki smiles,shikadai sighs and waves his hand " come on we'll play some shogi" he said walking down the hallway suzuki following behind him,he saw the board all ready set up
shikadai sat down,Suzuki sitting at the other side they began to play this game,Suzuki wasn't that good at this but it was fun to play it with shikadai " neh shikadai " shikadai hmmed for him to continue while keeping his eyes on the game
" Where's your dad? " Shikadai still didn't look up " he's at work he usually works late with the Hokage " Suzuki makes an 'oh' face " neh shikadai how about we train after school tomorrow " Suzuki asks him while still playing the game with him
shikadai sighs " it wil be to troublesome so no thank you " Suzuki smiles at him and shakes his head while he scoffed,but continued to play with him , all the while shikadai wins , Suzuki was really not good at this game
" Dinners ready! " He heard temari call out from the kitchen,shikadai stands up with Suzuki following behind him they walk into the eating room where temari had set the food ,standing with folded arms ,Suzuki smiles " well I guess I'll go home then,it was nice being here" he says as he was about to walk to the front door
But temari stops him before he could go ,she showed a little bit of worry for him " wait! , You can't go alone it's very dark out , let me and shikadai come with you" Suzuki makes a surprise face but smiles afterwards
" It's fine, I don't want to burden you I can go alone" Suzuki says , temari sighs and let's him go he waves at them saying 'goodbye!',walking out the door with his hands in his pockets he walks in the streets the night lamps shining on him as he walked he looked up at the night sky ,seeing a lot of stars , remembering what shikadai said to him
" So my dad's just protecting the village huh? ,But that doesn't mean he has to stay away from home for so long , I haven't even seen him before " he says sadly while still looking at the stars ,he takes of his glasses and rubs his eyes,putting it on again
" I wonder if he wears glasses because mom doesn't wear any of it " he says while putting his finger on his glasses
While talking to himself he walks by the Uzumaki residence , he looks at the house and sees the lights still on from inside , he rolled his eyes remembering boruto's annoying and stupid face
he walks on, and makes it to his house and he sees the house lights on ,he walks into the yard and goes thru the sliding door,smelling the delicious food his mom made " I'm home! " He calls out hearing footsteps coming towards him,he sees Sarada smiling at him Sakura coming up behind her with her apron on
" Welcome home! " they both say " the food is done you and Sarada can go eat I'm just gonna do something in the kitchen quickly " Sakura says , Suzuki and sarada smiles and go sits down
Sarada sitting beside Suzuki " so how was it at shikadai's house? " she asks taking her chopsticks and eats her rice , Suzuki doing the same " eh it was good , how was your day at home? " He says eating his food " it was okay at home , I helped mom with the food" she says with a smile .
Suzuki smiles a closed eyed smile at her and rubs her head , " oh! Really little sis , I love the food you and mom made its delicious! " he says ,sarada's glasses shines making her eyes dissapear in them , she takes his hands and pulls it of her head
" I'm not younger than you were the same age " she says with a dark tone , Suzuki gives a cat-like smile and waves his hand around , with his eyes rolled back , " yeah , yeah if you say so" he says as he takes a bite out of his food
" Hey! What's that supposed to mean?! " Sarada yells at him , but he ignores her making her even more madder at him she just hufs and began to eat there food , and talks about stuff
they didn't see there mother looking at them with soft eyes and a soft smile " I really hope they stay close like this" she softly says with her hands folded infront of her
