The race ended with Lando in P5 and Daniel down in P13. It was a mixed day for the McLaren team but they were happy that Lando managed to secure some points.
Lando was happy with his point scoring and was now on the way to hang out with his friends on a boat they had rented.
Max had been tasked with grabbing Lando clothes and blankets from his Monaco apartment as the F1 driver was heading straight from the track to the harbour.
Amelia had been invited once again and she was excited to spend more time with Lando and his friends too who had been really accepting of her yesterday.
The brown haired girl was now walking down the dock shoeless after she ditched the heels that had been irritating her feet since mid race earlier.
She was holding Lando's soft hand while he carried her shoes in his other hand making her smile.
Amelia had dropped them at the end of the dock before she could get a blister and was prepared to leave them behind and go barefoot but Lando knew she'd regret losing her shoes so grabbed them for her.
"Why a boat?" Amelia wondered as they walked down on the wood.
"What do you mean?" Lando asked in confusion.
"Why rent a boat? Why sit out on the water and watch the city light up with parties and not go to them?" Amelia clarified causing Lando to smile.
"Not a party person." Lando shrugged his shoulders in reply. "I'd rather spend time with you."
"With me?" Amelia asked with a smile on her face.
"Yes. With you." Lando replied as he dropped her hand and wrapped his arm around her shoulder before kissing her.
"I like spending time with you too." The Hunt girl commented.
"Hey guys." Max called out as he stood by the boat holding life jackets as Tom stood next to him.
The rest of their friends had already left on flights home so it was just the four of them left.
"Race you." Amelia told Lando before sprinting down the dock.
"Hey. Not fair." Lando shouted after her as he started running to.
"I win." Amelia smiled as she grabbed the life jacket Max held out for her.
"You cheated." Lando replied as Amelia smiled simply and shrugged her shoulders.
"Oh well." Amelia said before zipping up her life jacket.
"You don't actually have to wear that if you don't want to. We just bring them so Tom doesn't drown." Max told her as they all got onto the boat.
"Hey." Tom exclaimed before nearly falling into the water as he was getting onto the boat.
"See what I mean." Max said as he grabbed his friend and pulled him on.
"Let's go." Lando spoke as he held his hand out to help Amelia on.

"It's beautiful." Amelia commented as Lando came over and sat beside her on the front of the boat.
"Yeh it is." Lando agreed as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
The sun had set over the principality and it was now the lights of the city that illuminated the various high rise buildings.
Lando reached over and grabbed a blanket to throw over the pair while Max spoke with the man who was driving the boat.
"Can I ask you something?" Lando wondered after the pair had sat in a comfortable silence for a few minutes.
"Sure." Amelia nodded in reply as she laid her head on Lando's shoulder.
"Would you like to come to Oliver's wedding with me?" Lando asked nervously.
Amelia knew about Lando's brother Oliver and his fiancé Savannah and their daughter Mila. She also knew how close Lando was with his family and how much this would mean to him.
"I would love to." Amelia said as she lifted her head up and smiled at Lando before placing a small soft kiss on his lips.
Lando squeezed Amelia's arm with a smile on his face as he lent his head down on top of Millie that was resting on his shoulder.
He felt a sense of relief that she had agreed to come to the wedding with him. The wedding was due to be small with just family and close friends so Lando thought it would be a good way to introduce her to his family without overwhelming her.

The few weeks between the Monaco GP and Oliver and Savannah's wedding Amelia had spent in the limelight modelling for her mother's latest fashion line Paris.
Then after that her family headed to Orange County for the opening of her father's company's new office in California.
And now she was back in London getting ready at Lando and Max's house for the wedding. Amelia was looking forward to meeting the members of Lando's family she had yet to meet.
She had met his dad and Oliver the other day along with Savannah after she and Lando offered to help run some errands for the wedding.
So she just had to meet his mum and two sisters, both of which were younger than Lando and Oliver with the latter being the oldest of the four siblings.
"Amelia, here." Lando's voice spoke as he entered the room as Amelia was finishing filing her hair after getting dressed.
"Thanks." Amelia laughed slightly at the sight of Lando carrying her shoes he had just taken out of the freezer.
"What was the point of this again?" Lando wondered looking at them.
"The ice stretched them so they don't hurt your feet as much. My mum taught me years ago after she wants her models to have comfortable shoes to walk in." Amelia explained as she slipped her shoes on.
"You look beautiful." Lando commented with a smile as Amelia stood up and fixed her dress.
"Thank you. You look dapper too. Apart from this." Amelia said referring to his tie that was hanging loosely around his neck before she started tying it.
"Thanks." The McLaren driver spoke with a smile after she had finished.
"You guys ready?" Max asked as he appeared in the doorway of Lando's bedroom.
"Yep." Amelia replied as she slipped her hand into Lando's, enjoying the affecting that they could share away from cameras.

Lucky I had half this chapter wrote so it was easy to finish off to get an update out.
