The daylight begins to annoy my poor eyes that slowly open, taking their time to get used to the rays of the sun that illuminate through the window.
I immediately remember last night and how wonderful it was.
But suddenly, i notice a void next to me.
I turn on the other side and see there is no sign of Lizzie.
I think my heart is hurt right now.
I was hoping so much to wake up and find her next to me.
Looking closer, i find a post-it note stuck on the pillow and my heart back to smile.

I pick up the phone and see it's later than i thought. Wow i really slept a lot.
Cassie should be back from school soon.
I get up and go to the kitchen and the only thing i see is a paper bag and a very sweet smell coming from there, i approach the kitchen counter and find another post-it attached to the bag.
I didn't have time to make you
my delicious pancakes so
i got you this, i don't know if
you're more of a muffin or cookie type

oh and open the fridge

I open the bag and see a chocolate chip muffin and a chocolate cookie.
Then i open the fridge and find the fridge full of food and drinks.
Did she really get up so early just to go shopping for me?
My heart leaps for happiness, i've never seen anyone take so care of me except for Cassie and... my mom. Lizzie is bringing so much light and joy into my life even after a bad time like the breakup between me and Aubrey.
I don't usually like it when people spend money on me and i feel guilty that Lizzie did it but at the same time i'm happy, if there's one thing i've realized in these few days it's that she cares about details, even just a simple breakfast is like a cuddle from her.
She's such a good heart.
I take the paper bag and take out the muffin and give it a little bite.
At first the sweet taste of the muffin mixes with a feeling of vomit that rises more and more, but i manage to fight it and swallow the piece of muffin.
I wait a few seconds and feel only the sweet taste.
I smile, i did it.
I keep reading Lizzie's post-it which somehow encourages me.
I think about her, her smile, her laugh, her eyes and it almost seems to me to be right in this moment, i don't feel wrong.
I can take a few more bites of the muffin, even if it's hard, but i do.
I don't eat it all but it's a progress and i'm happy with it.
At that moment i hear the door open and i see Cassie get in to the apartment.
"Hey boo" i say
"Well someone woke up finally" she teases about me
"For once i slept well"
"Oh i see and i see not alone...so you and Lizz-i mean Miss Olsen sleep together now?" she asks with a smirk
"Cas it was only for one night" i point out
"Two actually" she specifies
"Okay two, but it doesn't mean anything of what you're thinking right now, she's just a friend" i say
"Yeah of course, whatever makes you sleep at night and anyway, just to be clear, even if she is a friend doesn't justify that our teacher sleeps in the same bed with you" she says highlighting the word friend
"I know Cas but that's one thing that stays between us, right?" i say raising an eyebrow
"Yeah i promise boo even if i'm mad with you" she says crossing her arms and i tilt my head not understanding what she's talking about.
"Well, you'd rather sleep with Lizzie than with me that i'm your best friend" she says pounting
I smile for how cute she is.
"You're right, i'm sorry boo can you forgive me? I promise we'll sleep more together, you know i actually miss it" i open my arms and she dives into my hug
"Mmm it will be better for you"
"Oh is this a threat?" i say joking
"Probably"
"You're idiot" i say and we both laughing
Cassie raises her head and sees the piece of muffin i have left on the kitchen counter.
"Oh my god you ate?" she says smiling
"Yeah not too much but yes i did it"
"Nono Y/n that's enough, i mean i was afraid you know- well you know what, but i'm proud of you it's a big step this" she says hugging me again
"Thanks boo i'm proud of myself too actually"
"I knew Lizzie would be good for you, she woke up at 6 to go to the market"
"How did you know?" i ask
"Well first of all, she took breakfast for me too, so don't think to be special, even though there was no friendly post-it on my paper bag and then when i walked into class she asked about you and hoped you wouldn't be offended by her act"
"D-did she really ask for me?" i ask incredulously
"Yeah and you know what? During the lesson she did nothing but look at your empty desk" she smirks
"Oh..." i say
So she thinks about me during the day?
"I think someone misses you in class" Cassie adds
"Cas stop it" and she laughs
"Sorry it's just so funny...anyway your friend gave me these for you so you can be ready for next week's text" she winks at me and then disappears into her room.
I do the same, i pick up the phone and write to Lizzie.

Actually i can't help but smile like a fool, this woman makes me really happy.
I decide to get up to go to the desk and start studying the notes that Lizzie made for me.
My heart melts seeing how much attention to detail she has prepared everything.
On the first page I find a post-it.

I think this is the first time in my life that i study with a smile on my face.
What makes me laugh the most are the doodles she did on a few pages here and there to make me understand the lesson better, she's really bad at drawing but this makes everything even more fun.

"Well she's hotter but i'm fine with you too" i tease her and she throws a pillow in my face.

We slip under the covers, she snuggles on me leaning her head on my shoulder.

While we are laughing i get a message, i smile thinking it's Lizzie but my smile goes out when i realize it's not her.
Today there were some complications
but is stable now,
