2nd Semester: January
The first week back-I was so happy to reunite with everyone and ask about their 2 week vacation.
I made sure to stay in contact with both my guys giving as much as of me as I could. Thanks to Devantè, I was now riding up in Snow where I was greeted with Tià's smiling face as we redecorated our new dorm room.
This one was hella better. It was more spacious and we only had to share a bathroom with two other girls from the other side.
She informed me that her and Dal were still cool but was talking to some other guy she knew from way back.
Same rules still applied-long as they were clean they were free to roam around.
Things were going good for the most part but that was only the beginning.
K wouldn't come til later tonight, I missed seeing his silly self. He was patient and understanding which is what I cherished the most about him. Most dudes would've stepped but he stayed.
My phone rang showing De's number as my heart fluttered, I flipped it open and answered.
"You just couldn't wait huh?" I smirked through the phone.
"Hell nooo" he chuckled "I ready to see Ms. C0caine"
"For the last time De her name is Snow" I laughed.
"Eehh Snow cool but I like C0caine better" he teased "I bet she prettier than uh mug too".
"What about me?!" I whined
"Damn even you jealous of ya own car" he smirked "Calm down you know I'm wanna see your pretty self too". I tucked in my bottom lip.
"You didn't tell K did you?" I tilted my head "I want it to be a surprise".
"Naw I didn't TeLl hIM" he mocked "Why ya'll always thinking a nigha be snitchin?".
"Because you do" I snickered "Can't hold water to save your life".
"That's cold Da" he smirked.
"It's facts De" I stated "Where my favorite at?".
"He in here being fuckin junky" he answered "Nigha put that shit on yo side I don't even know why I agreed to share a room with you. Feels like home again".
"Nigha shut up" he grunted "That my girl Da?".
"You already know it" he replied.
"Heeyyy favorite!" He yelled from the other end.
"Hey favorite!!!" I yelled into the bottom of my phone.
"Man ya'll cut that shit out" he sneered "Foe ya'll turn this shit into a quartet". We both laughed ignoring the comment. Dalvin was the only one who knew what was going down since he was the brother and best friend to both.
I had Katià so it was only fair he had Dal to vent to as well.
The three of us didn't establish anything but it was clear as day that we were...together.
"Whatever De" I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever my ass" he said "You pulling up to the dorm or should I?".
"Since you wanna rush somebody you can come over here" I sassed.
"Man aight" he smacked "I see you in about 10. Nigha these ain't my draws!".
"How they ain't?!" asked Dalvin.
"Nigha do it LOOK like I wear purple panties?!" he paused. I laughed closing my phone as I finished unpacking.
De shot me a text that was outside waiting on me. I glee'd making my way down the steps pushing the door as I heading into the parking area.
It was just like that night I paid him a visit. Devantè looking natural with his plain shirt and sweat with Nike flip flops.
"You gonna just stand or show me some love" he smirked by his car. I would normally walked over to him like I didn't care but it been two weeks and I missed him so much.
I practically ran over leaping into his arms. It was the best feeling in the ENTIRE WORLD-I inhaled his Axe Body Wash, he must've got out the shower smelling all fresh.
"I missed you" I cooed into his neck.
"I was missing you too girl" he held me tighter into the air before releasing me lightly snatching my nose.
"WHERE SHE AT?!" He clapped. Devantè loved cars so he was more excited than me. I mean I was happy but he was ecstatic.
I shook my head as I pointed past his ear making him look back and over in the dark corner.
Devantè rushed over as I followed behind laughing at his overly hyped ass. He rubbed his hands like birdman examining the ride.
"Yeah I'ma getchu right" he nodded "Gonna getchu some rims. Getchu tinted up a bit and make this muthafucka glow underneath".
"What is this Fast and Furious?" I chuckled.
"Shit I've been waiting for a new project" he smirked.
"De yo-" I paused "That's gonna cost an arm and a leg. I don't have that kinda money". Devantè pierced his lips at me as he walked over.
"Merry late Christmas Dada" he smirked in my face. I couldn't help but smile back as I looked off.
"You couldn't get me a Christmas card or some?" I blushed.
"I just want you sittin pretty" he smirked "You with TMS now. Can't have my Gamma Baby not stuntin on these hoes".
"Thank you for this De" I wanted to tear up "Really. No one has ever came close doing something like this for me".
"I'm just really proud of you Da" he smirked "You still a Brat tho".
"Shut uppp" I hit him. His phone started buzzing as he pulled it out of his sweats. His eyes looked over to me.
"It's K" he spoke
"Answer it" I waved my hand. Devantè smirked as he answered the phone.
"What it do playa?". Devantè gave a few yeahs before he told his location.
"Yeah she right here by me" he answered with a paused. He placed the phone down.
"He said he heading this way and he missed you".
"I missed you too!" I yelled. "Hurry back".
"You heard that nigha" he smirked "Bring ya ass on". Soon as De hung up it grew silent for a moment. We both shared the same stare we've been giving each other.
"You always doing that" I pointed.
"Doing what?" He smirked
"Talking with your eyes" I answered "Watchu gotta say?".
"Nothing...nothing except" he licked his lips "Since being with you. I've been the happiest nigha ever. It's just nice that I get to experience that with you that's all".
"I am too De" I smiled "I'm glad I have you as well".
"Yeah" he smiled scratching behind his ear.
"God I really love your smile" I said in awe making home stop dead in his tracks.
"It's like...every time you smile I just" I looked down "I dunno it's like...". Devantè held my chin up making me look at him.
"....It's like a blessing" I finished.
Devantè didn't say anything but his eyes showed so much appreciation. With a long sigh he dropped his hand taking a step back.
"What's wrong?" I contorted my face.
"Nothing nothing" he rubbed his neck "I really appreciate that Da. Seriously, no one ever said anything like that to me ya before and it's just...it's nice to be told that".
"Anytime" I side smirked. The headlights to a box Chevy blinded our vision and we shield our eyes.
"There's ya boy" he smirked "Nigha turn them high beams off you ain't in the woods no more!". K turned off the ignition as he smoothly got out of his vehicle.
"Nice to see you too nigha" he smiled. K's smile was beautiful as well. All wide and joyous like he didn't have a care in the world.
He closed the door walking over to the two of us. He dapped Devantè up but kept his eyes on me.
"Hey my baby" he smirked.
"Hey K" I gave him a tight hug "Ugh I missed you".
"I missed you more sugha" he smirked into my cheek. The three of us formed a mini circle looking at one another all awkward but it was cute awkward.
"Um is there any reason why we over in the corner like we dealing" K asked looking around.
Devantè smiled looking over my way.
"Damn nigha the last time I seen you smile like that was when you got that electric toy truck you got for Christmas from way back" he joked.
"Never wanted to me drive but kept running over poor Dalvin". I bust out laughing covering my mouth.
"Whatever man. I'm not the one with the wheels this time" he tilted his head to car. K looked over at the White Pontiac sitting there glistening.
"Dada this you baby?" He pointed making his way over. I nodded like a proud parent.
"Yes it is" I smirked "Devantè's been teaching me to drive. Getting on my everlasting nerves".
"But yo ass drove here now didn't you?" He teased as I rolled my eyes.
"What's her name?" He looked over.
"Snow/C0caine" we said in unison then playfully glared at each other.
"Y'all both stupid I swear" he laughed still looking at the vehicle.
"It's beautiful Dada" he smiled.
"Just wait til I'm done with it though" smirked Devantè "I'ma decked this shit out. You know how I like to accessorize vehicles".
"Shit that much I know" he chuckled "Your hands were itching to get to mine". I laughed thinking of the two guys growing up together.
"I wish I could've been there" I spoke up causing them to look at me "You two are so close. I'm kinda jealous
....Never had that".
"You got us now Da" shrugged De
"That's all that matters" K smirked "You were there for us and now we're gonna be there for you". I wiped my cheekbone before the tear slid down my face.
"Sorry I'm such a crybaby" I chuckled looking down.
"That you are" chuckled De "But you our crybaby". I blushed hearing the term Our so smooth and freely.
"Well this nigha then topped my Christmas gift" said K "Make my shit look cheap".
"Nigha you don't do cheap" he eyed K.
"And you right". K walked over to me as he removed a white box from his pocket that read Pandora.
"Merry Belated Christmas Da" he smiled as he opened it. My mouth dropped looking at the solid gold/white ring shaped as tiara.
"For my Princess" he peered up. I cupped my mouth wanting to cry but sucked it up. K took it out placing it on my right ring finger.
"K....it's beautiful" I smiled "I love it. You didn't have to do this. Either of you".
"And I didn't even tell her na" spoke De.
"Oh so you knew?!" I pointed to him.
"I mean he didn't tell me exactly what it was" he smirked
"And I'm glad because yo ass can't hold water for shit" sassed K making me laugh.
"Man y'all gonna chill" he said "I can hold secrets....for a limited time". The three of us laughed to it grew quiet.
"Man all this shit is making a nigha hungry" smacked K "Ya'll wanna go to Waffle House?".
"Hell yeah" we both said.
"Da you driving" spoke Devantè already at the passenger side.
"I don't want to" I pouted "It was already enough I even drove here".
"I would volunteer but I do wanna see you whip that thang" smirked K.
"So you siding with De" I folded my arms "Oh this some bullshit". They both chuckled.
"Just come on girl" said De "It's not even that far". I swiped the side of my mouth rolling my eyes.
"Fine but if either of you nighas laugh I'm tossing you out" I huffed unlocking the doors as K went to park the hopped in afterwards.
Me and my guys drove all the way to Waffle House and nobody died.
We ate and was merry. This was the beginning but far from the end.
March
The past three months were amazing
It took some getting use to due to it being our first time in a ummm a poly situationship but we worked on it. I knew them in and out like they did with me.
K didn't trip that much on quality time but when we were together I was still his one and only. He made sure I was never without.
De continued spending the most time with me and going out, but I couldn't help but notice how his mind always went somewhere when we were on the phone or laid there talking.
It was almost as if they were saving face for the sake of me. I could never tell because they were still close as ever.
K wanted to hold a little get together at the Haunted Mansion as I called it. Just a get together, nothing too serious just something to loosen us up since school assignments were kicking our ass.
I was in a mist of a conversation when I seen Tyra and De chatting at the other end-her body was finding ways to touch him as he smirked a little.
"Giiirrll Tyra FEENIN for some De" Tià shook her head "Like MAD FEENIN...can't believe she's still trying".
"I honestly can't be mad" I shook my head "He does know how to put it down".
"So I heeaarrddd" she slowly brought her cup to her lips. It was no secret Devantè had me singing Soprano whenever we had sex and now Tyra wanted to partake.
Devantè whispered something to her ear as Tyra began to scoff.
She walked over to the other side now talking to Alycia. After a couple of seconds, the two peered over at me.
"Bitch why they looking over here?" I lifted a brow.
"Because she got rejected AGAIN" she answered "Dada I don't know watchu did to that boy but the girls is talking".
"What do you mean talkin?" I looked at her.
"....they saying thaaattt" she sighed "You been selfishly hogging all of De's dick on purpose. He won't touch no one unless it's you but you know I had to put my two cents in it
Can't nobody make De do shit he don't wanna do".
"Precisely" I agreed "I didn't force De to stay committed to me. He chose to be with me because he wanted to".
"Dada we need to talk to you" said Tyra "Alone".
"What about" I turned to her.
"Naw Tyra you not finna gang up on my girl" Tià eyed them "2 for 1 special over here trick".
"The only trick in this house...is Dada" said Alycia.
"Yo who you calling a trick Alycia!" I got in her face as the rest of the crew walked over.
"You trick" stepped Alycia "You and your dick hoggin ass".
"Yo yo yo yo" spoke Dalvin holding me back "what's going on".
"I didn't wanna start any drama I just needed to speak with Da" Tyra responded. "I just wanted know why you keeping De for yourself?"
"I'm not" I grunted
"You are and not to mention you fucking K as well" pointed Alycia "Like ya'll got some kinda tribe of your own".
"Ya'll really wil'n over some dick that doesn't have a name on it" fussed Tià
"With all due respect Tià this ain't your business" stated Ty
"It is my business if ya'll stepping to my girl like this" she stepped up but Dalvin blocked her as well.
"Naw let her speak Tià" I peered over at her "Apparently she's been feeling like this for awhile". The room grew quiet as everyone listened in.
"This society was about having fun and letting loose" Tyra started "But it seems like you three have form some sort of relationship...preferably you two".
She pointed to me and De
"Nobody's in a relationship Ty" replied K.
"Definitely feels like it" chimed Alycia "Treating her like she's the Queen of Sheba. You know she lowkey blocking".
"And that's a problem to you how?" K lifted his brow "Cuz I don't remember you not gettin any of this dick whenever you wanted". Alycia looked away...
"That still leaves De" spoke Tyra "I mean I understand what happen to you baby boy but that was months ago. It's just starting to look like...
You just want her".
This was really messed up how they were getting out on De. K and I knew how sensitive he could get even though the others didn't see that side.
"So watchu saying" said Devantè as he swiped his nose.
"I'm not trying to be the enemy here De" she pointed to herself "You know we all think you the shit and you are.
Can you blame any of us for wanting a moment of your time?". I scanned the room looking at the girls as though they agreed with Tyra-this was sad.
Praying on Devantè like dogs in heat.
"If you want it that bad Ty, I'll give it to you Mamma ain't no thang" his jaw twitched.
I looked over at De like he lost it then to K. I signaled for him to stop this but he didn't budge.
Tyra smirking like she had won a prize was the last straw.
I knew what I had to do
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" I yelled "He said NO the first, the second and probably tenth time.
What don't you get!".
"It's cool Dada" De spoke "We talked about this".
"But you're not ready" I looked at him.
"Dada let them handle this" said K "You can't keep interfering when things don't go your way".
"I'm doing what's right. It's more than just hogging dick!" I pointed to K.
"You maybe cool with giving it away but he ain't!".
"Da-" spoke Dalvin.
"No Dal" I looked over "I can't keep quiet about this"
"Do you know how hard it is for men to put up a front like they want the shit but don't....like us?!" I looked over at the girls who looked at one another.
"Devantè is....so much more than that!" I cried "I would know because I actually took the time to get to know him and he's a great great guy
The best". Tyra, Alycia, and K were all taken back.
"I know what he likes. I know what makes him laugh and I know what makes him tick. I know his favorite candy and song
He likes the color Red and he loves cars
His jaw twitches when he's uncomfortable-That was his tattle tale sign when Ty kept pushing
I got to know him...did you?". Devantè stood off to the side in disbelief as his eyes grew sensible.
"He's loyal. Dependable. And a pain in my ass no pun intended". I looked at him then to K
"I can't believe YOU out of ALL people would let some shit like this go down" I said "He's your fucking best friend but you care more about this society".
I snatched off my ring.
"You always have!". I knew I hurt K when I dropped it on the floor and it was hurting me way more.
"We joked about how he couldn't hold water but he held just enough for me" I sniffled
"Dada don't" De stepped forward.
"K I-... I loved you". My C bear eyes grew big then over to De who stared at the ground again.
"He could've outted me but he didn't" I continued "He's the reason I'm still here but I don't want that anymore".
I shook my head as I made my way to the door.
"Dada don't leave man" frowned Static
"I broke the rule Stat" I twisted the knob "Trust me. This is what needed to happen". With that being said, I walked out on my family feeling like shit but with a sense of dignity
I had to stand up for De because no one was gonna do it. Was I selfish?
Did I want to keep his loving to myself?
Did I want to stop what was about to go down just so he wouldn't walk into the room like K always did on me?
Maybe, but at that very moment, Devantè needed a voice and I gave him one.

A week went by as I tried my best to avoid every damn body. Whenever I seen member of TMS, I walked the other way just like I had done before.
K and De were blowing up my phone. I literally had to turn my it off to even function.
I was upset but not with them, with myself.
I came into Gamma Phi Gimme knowing the consequences but I was so stuck on K I didn't realize how I was messing it up for everyone else.
It was like they kept making exceptions for me but it was time for me to own my shit and leave with my head held high.
I was on my laptop when I heard the door open revealing Tià who gave me a glare.
"What?" I glared back.
"You knnooww there's only so many times I can tell them relentless niigros to give you some time before you came around" she placed her hands on her hips
"I'ma need you to talk to at least one of them Da".
"Tià I made a fool of myself" I huffed "I can't show my face right now".
"You didn't make a fool of yourself Da" she sighed "What you did for De was noble-You did the right thing". I laid back in my seat
"It was my fault" she pouted "Told you about the Society outting K. Talking you into doing this knowing that's not how you got down".
"I don't regret none of that Tià" I rushed "I really had one helluva time in TMS. I got to experience somethin different...I just couldn't fully give my self away like that
That's where I went wrong".
"Personally for me" she smirked "I missed the whole love triangle thing ya'll had going on".
"Girl it wasn't no love triangle" I chuckled.
"Oh it wasn't...you said you love K" she listed "De told you that K felt the same though he didn't say...and now I think De has deep feelings for you".
"I have feelings for him too" I moped "He was so cool and fun to be around and whenever we UGH I was like putty". Tià snickered.
"I think you frontin' Da" she said "You say you feeling De but I think it's more there. You should talk to em
At least give yourself some closure".
Katià was right-I couldn't avoid my guys forever not around this small ass campus anyway. I had to face the music and nip this in the bud.
I shot K a text saying I was ready to talk. He never replied back so fast in his life-he wanted us to meet at the spot where we 'fooled around'.
Around 7, I found my feet getting heavier and heavier with each step I took. K's face remained calm and I was ready to run back to the car the closer I got to him.
But here we were face to face.
"Hi" I greeted
"Hey" he smirked a bit "I missed you".
"I missed you" I lightly aired. K grabbed my hand as we took a walk. We didn't say anything the first couple of seconds before he turned to me placing arms around his neck like before.
"You know when I first met you I thought to myself" he looked up "I have to make her mine in some way.
I always wanted to be near you every chance I got. I never wanted you to know about me and TMS-I wanted there to be an US". I looked at him as he continued to gather his words.
"Dada baby YOU ARE LOVE the kinda love I've never known about. Everything about you drives me crazy and I'ma sucka for you
Just not the fool". I rapidly blinked from the double entendre he used.
"I-" he sighed "I love you Da and you were right. The moment De needed me I abandoned his feelings trying to save face. I put this society before you and him
But then I realized...you two aren't built the same as me". I shook my head agreeing.
"So I'ma let you make this decision Da.
I'll love you no less" he grabbed my hands placing them to his face "You could stay in TMS and we try to make this work or you can leave and we'd go back to being friends".
Before, I would've done anything to be with K but with a new outlook on things I had to do what was best for Dada, my answer was final.
"K I love you so much" I whispered as a fear fell "But I can't stay like this baby. I can't...I can't share my love any longer". K closed his eyes as he nodded.
"And you shouldn't" he kissed my hand as a tear fell as well "You deserve better and I pray that you get it".
"Thank you K" I whispered "And I know you don't want it right now but I pray for the same".
"I already found it in you baby" he cupped my chin "You gave me everything and more". I instantly cried trying to hold it together.
"But you know what?" he lifted my chin.
"I know someone who needs it just as much as I do". I tilted my head only thinking of one person.
"De?" I questioned "But De doesn-"
"Dada...I love you" he smirked "But Devantè is IN LOVE with you". Everything in my body stopped as he revealed this news to me.
"I don't understand" I said "He..but I tho-"
"I seen it on that nigha face every time your name popped up on his phone" he chuckled
"Nobody has ever made him smile like that in a long ass time, big ass softie". I finally released a laugh.
"He is a teddy bear" I agreed.
"And he's yours" he continued "If you want him to be". I didn't want to say it outloud but K had a way for reading people.
"You know I care about you so much Dada" he started "But I couldn't give you the love you deserve-My man De though...he could.
And that's the kind of guy you need in your corner". My tears fell again.
"I knew you cared about my dude..." he said "But the night you spoke up for him...I knew it was more".
"You're not angry with me?" I asked
"Naw and I should be right?" he sadly chuckled "That's why I said I could've been a better man to you".
"You have" I held his face "K you made me so happy just know that. This doesn't make me love you any less".
"I know Dada" he smiled reaching into his pocket giving me the ring "You're my heart...but De is your SOULMATE
Snatcher and Whisperer". I giggled taking the ring.
"I've been trying to call him" I frowned "He's not picking up".
"He's by the mansion" he revealed "Nine times out of ten he's probably by the creek. He does that when he has alot of his mind".
"Thanks K" I wiped my face "For everything".
"Just do two things for me Da" he asked.
"Okay what are they?" I asked.
"First...come give me some sugah". I smiled as I gave K the biggest kiss of a lifetime because he still was my heartbeat.
"Damn I'ma miss those" he chuckled "And two...Get De out of TMS. He doesn't belong there". I gave him a sincere look ready to do what I was set out to do.

Like K stated, Devantè was sitting at the edge of the creek tossing rocks.

he looked so unhappy like how I was all last week.
"You crying?" I teased causing him to look back. We both stared at one another before I spoke again.
"Can I join you?". Devantè didn't say anything but shook his head. With a blanket, I plopped down next to him motioning for him to sit by me.
"How you doing?" I questioned
"Shit I should be asking you that" he smirked as he continued to throw pebbles in the water
"I'm pretty great thanks" I responded "Now that I found you...". De looked over my way contorting his face.
"What's that supposed to mean?" he asked.
"Exactly what it means damnit" I chuckled "You always on defense about everything".
"My bad Da" he chuckled struggling his shoulders "I guess I'ma little tight cause I fucked shit up".
"How?". Devantè looked at me with the purest eyes and back out into the water.
"I fucked things up for you and K" he chewed his lip "Ya'll were like...all in love and shit. I came and now here we are".
"De I'm EXACTLY where I'm suppose to be" I smiled. He looked over confused.
"I remember I couldn't stand yo ass and you couldn't stand me" I shook my head "Next thing you know we were going at it like nobody's business".
Devantè laughed showcasing his smile.
"Boy we were a hot ass mess" he rubbed his face now placing his arms over his knees "But we stuck it out".
"We did...and we'll continue to" I smiled at him "Cuz your my best friend". De smirked again
"I don't know if I can fuck with that Da" he teased.
"Why?" I fake moped. Devantè opened his mouth like he wanted to say somethin but he closed it.
"De it's okay" I spoke "I know you think you messed things up for me and K but we talked earlier today".
"What he say?" he frowned at me.
"He gave me the option of staying with him and TMS or leaving" I answered "And I chose to walk away".
"K trippin man" he scoffed "If...that were me I-...I" De sighed licking his lips
"Speak your mind Devantè" I spoke "It's alright".
"If I had a girl like you...I probably would've left man" he played with the last rock "You're the real deal Dada like seriously. How you stood up for me with Tyra and brought the heat to you
That was some gangsta shit". I chuckled a little but let him continue.
"For a girl like you...I would've-". He looked down
"I would've done anything". My heart dropped listening to De pour his feelings out to me. It was beautiful yet sad. He just didn't know-
He fixed his mouth to speak again
"You know those moments I was giving you a hard time with the whole K situation?".
I nodded having flashbacks of us tussling.
"It wasn't only because I was looking out for K" he pierced his lips again "It's because I wish I had someone who looked at me the way you looked at K".
"Watchu mean De?" I turn my head
"A lot of girls probably felt that way about you but couldn't say".
"I mean you can tell if it's really love though" he said "It's through action as well. Just by a simple touch I can just...know".
"Hey" I whispered causing Devantè to turn to me.
I slowly lifted my hand using my second finger to lightly graze his neck sliding it up behind his ear-Devantè instantly respond like a chill went down his back letting out a hiss closing his eyes.
Wow he was really a beautiful sight falling underneath me like he was.
Using the pads of my fingers, I wrap them around the side of his elongated neck as he slowly licked his lips. My thumb traced the hollow side of his nape giving it small massages. His eyes opened looking over at me.
"Can you tell now?" I revealed.
Devantè's eyed bucked to my question. He thought it was in his head when it was really reality. I took out the ring K gave me as I gazed at it.
"I love K" I admitted shaking my head "But I'm IN LOVE with you Devantè". Just as I was about to toss it, De instantly grabbed my wrist.
"Don't do that Da" he spoke. I was stunned a little but I learned with K and De you never know.
"Is it true...that you're in love with me?" He looked back up. I nodded letting a tear roll.
He removed the ring from my hand as he placed it back on my finger.
"Love is infinite...you can have a much as you want" he smirked holding my hand "Just because you love someone more doesn't mean you love the other any less". I was lost for words he really was a walking talking ballad.
"You said one time you never take K away from me" he said "And I'm for sure not taking him away from you. I'm not selfish like that".
"You guys are amazing I swear" I shook my head "You both are one of the same. He loves you De".
"That's my boy Da" he chuckled "He knew how special you were and he lemme partake on what that felt like".
