"you got it" carlo mumbled holding ya'vanis hand as she tried to push
"Fuck I can't" ya'vani yelled
"you can I know you can" carlo said putting his hand on her forehead
"ima need you to keep pushing, he's almost here" doctor Angelo said
Ya'vani was still in a lot of pain as she kept going in and out as she kept tryna push it it was hard.
"maybe we should c-section" one of the male nurses said and doctor Angelo shook his head
"he's almost here" Angelo whispers back at the nurse
"Yeah but she's out and in" doctor remie said holding ya'vanis hand
"Um she has a fever" carlo said feeling her forehead a little bit
"here he comes" doctor Angelo said as he ignored carlo
"ughh" ya'vani screamed as she pushed and pushed.
"Last one come on" doctor Angelo said and ya'vani shook her head
"I can't.." ya'vani spoke lowly
"You can" doctor Angelo said making ya'vani push a little
"Ima need more than that"
"Ughh fuck!!" Ya'vani pushed the hardest she had, carlo turned his head hearing crys. Doctor Angelo held the baby while the nurse cut the umbilical cord.
He handed the baby off to the nurse. Carlo looked to see where they was taking him but he couldn't they walked out the room.
They all heard a machine beep "doctor.." a nurse said and eveyone turned there attention to see ya'vani passed out
"oh my" doctor Angelo said
"ya'vani" carlo said grabbing her face
"vani.." he repeated grabbing her arm but not getting an answer
All the doctors and nurses started moving fast as they started doing some things on yavani but carlo couldn't see what.
"what did y'all do" carlo said as a male nurse tried to push him out the room
"No stop fucking touching me" carlo said as he pushed the nurse
The nurse kept pushing him as he finally got carlo out the room pushing him into the hallway.
He looked into the glass window seeing them working on ya'vani until someone came over and closed the curtains to the window.
Carlo sat down in the chair they had in the hallway, his leg shook as he felt tears coming down his eyes. He felt like this was all his fault.
He should have brought her to the hospital early is what he thought. He felt like he should have done something sooner.
He put his face into his hands as he leaned over in the chair. He sat there for about thirty minutes letting his mind wonder. Until a nurse came up to him making him look up.
"would you like to come see your son" the nurse asked and carlo nodded slowly
"He's right this way" she said walking him to the delivery room
They stopped right at the window and they looked at the baby's.
"Can you tell which one" she said as they looked all the baby's
"yeah right there" carlo smiled as he pointed to a darkskin baby that had a lil blanket wrapped around him
"Can I hold him" carlo asked
"yes of course" she said walking him into the room
They walked into the room and she stopped him so she could give him hand sanitizer. She went over and picked him up carefully and then handed him off to Carlos as she held his head giving him.
"hold his head" she said smiling and carlo did so putting his head in the crease of his arm.
"gotcho momma eyes huh" carlo said crying.
"what are y'all going to name him" the nurse asked
"um carter" carlo said just picking what was I his head, he knew that yavani would at least appreciate him for trying so he did
"Oh it looks like the doctor has news for you" the nurse said looking at the glass window seeing doctor angelo.
"Mm" the nurse took the carter out his hands which he really didn't even wanna let him go so they had a little pulling for a minute but he finally let him go
Carlo sighed as he walked into the hallway stepping infront of doctor angelo. Doctor angelo kept his head down until he finally pulled his head up with a sad look on his face
"you lying" carlo felt tears come down his face and roll onto his neck
"she just couldn't make it. I'm sorry" doctor angelo said
"no" carlo mumbled wiping his tears but more fell everytime he did
"I'm so sorry" doctor angelo said making carlo look at him with a mean mug on his face
"Oh you sorry huh" carlo said and the doctor nodded
"why the fuck you ain't stop then, you know what-" carlo just walked away. He really wanted to beat the nigga up but he just ain't have it in him a that moment.
He walked back to the emergency department where tremain and Kati was. He saw tremain and kati sitting there as he got closer to them. He wiped his tears as he got up to them, but they could still see that he had been crying
He looked over at treyvon and Jayla who were sleep in the chairs beside each other
"how is she" Kati said as her and tremain both told uI and carlo just shook his head as tears started to flow down his face again
"wait no" tremain said shaking his head in shock
"I should have brought her here sooner" carlo said sniffling. Kati pulled him into a hug holding tight onto him
"I know" Kati said patting his back as he full on cried
"This all my fault" carlo mumbled
"nah don't say that" tremain said and carlo shook his head
"Cause it's not" tremain added
"I- dad" treyvon cut carlo off as he woke up hearing his dad voice
"hm" carlo said rubbing the tears off his face and getting his self together
"where mommy" Treyvon asked as he looked around
and Carlos sat beside him and held his hand as he started to explain what happened but in a way that treyvon could understand but also in a way that he wouldn't break down
"so mommy gone" Treyvon asked as kati wiped the tears off his eyes and carlo nodded
"she always going to be with you though" carlo added trying to make him feel better, but treyvon started crying loudly making carlo cry even more
Kati picked treyvon up as he cried louder and harder, carlo now felt bad cause he thought he explained it in a good way but how can you explain something like that to a three year old
"I'll take him home with us so you can have a little time to your self" kati said and treyvon nodded
"I'll pick him up later on today though" carlo said rubbing treyvons head as he cried more and more

Carlos walked into the house. Threw his keys and phone on the couch. He was by himself because he they wanted to keep carter for a whole twenty four hours and Carlos also hadn't got the baby stuff he needed so he was going to pick him up later
He sat on the couch and sighed as he just thought about all that happened. He had just lost everything that kept him sane, of course treyvon did too. But yavani was the one who really made him feel whole.
He always wanted to feel loved, and she did that for him. He knew that no matter what she was there, and now she wasn't he didn't know how he would go on.
Didn't know how he could go on, his first love, best friend, fiancé, first everything. She gave him his fist son. He had never had someone be everything to him like she was.
Snapping him out his thoughts he heard a loud pounding and bangs on his door. He wiped his tears and got up and went to the front door.
He got up and opened it seeing the police.he looked at them with a stank face.
"Carlo adorn Taylor, your under a arrest for the murder of Nate Vazquez" the cop said turning him around
"nigga what" carlo said as they put him into handcuffs
