Three days had passed since the traumatic incident. Throughout this time, Greyson had been unwaveringly at Ani's side. He comforted her during her nightmares, holding her close and providing warmth and solace. Their cuddles, while not something they often did before, seemed to naturally happen during their sleep. Greyson had a plan to take Ani to their farm estate for a surprise getaway, hoping to distract her from the recent bitter experiences. However, he had no idea that Leon and Jaden had also arranged a surprise for him. As morning arrived at 7 o'clock, the husband and wife found themselves in a small argument. Greyson was dressed in his formal attire, ready to leave, while Ani remained in her nightdress.
Greyson: "Love, please understand my situation."
Anisha: "What will I do there without you, Grey? I want to be with you. Please let me come with you
Greyson: "Ani, I will come there after finishing this meeting. Just believe me, baby, please. I promise you will love the surprise; I arranged it for you."
Anisha: "Okay, I will go with Jaden now, but please come soon."
Saying this, she hugged him, and he smiled while caressing her hair.
Greyson: "I will come soon for my queen! Oh, baby, I forgot to say this; I bought a dress and new earrings for you. So wear that today. I will meet you there. Bye."
Anisha: "Okay, Grey, take care
(he placed a kiss on her cheeks and left the room, Anisha sighed and took out the dress Greyson bought.
Anisha was delighted with the outfit and earrings Greyson had chosen for her. It made her feel cherished, and she couldn't help but think about how well he knew her taste. After taking a refreshing shower, she carefully donned the dress and earrings. Anisha, along with Jaden and their driver James, then set off for the Mcknight farmhouse.
Greyson pov:
After convincing Ani, I went to the place that I expected to go to for these three days, I and Jaden spent our time distracting Ani from the horrible incident. But she got some nightmares which worry me a lot. So I called Kavin and told him everything happened, he got more furious after hearing what happened here, and upset with me. I asked him to come here with mom, dad, and Monisha. He accepted and told mom and dad will be worried if they knew what happened here so we decided not to disclose this to them, and he declined the call, I asked Jaden to call his friends in the cake shop and he told me that he will take care of that. Now I am on the way to my old warehouse, which most people are not aware of. Walking into the warehouse, I was greeted by the determined faces of Leon, Jonathan, and Kayden, their presence reassuring me that everything was in place. Inside that dimly lit space, I locked eyes on the three culprits, each one securely bound to separate poles, their bare torsos serving as testimony to the consequences of their actions. A sense of satisfaction welled up within me, knowing that justice was finally being served.
Greyson: Wow, Kayden! impressed with you and your teamwork. Even I can't recognize the face of which shithead is whom. Definitely, I will give 5xsalary for you boys.
(Grey pats Kayden's shoulder and Leon smirks. Grey went near Robert and checked his face)
Robert: Mr. Mcknight, please, leave me be. I promise I won't interfere in your affairs again. Show me some mercy, sir.
My response was laced with a touch of sarcasm, an ironic twist given the circumstances.
Greyson: Ah, mercy, you say? Well, I suppose we could consider it, Kayden.
Kayden's response was swift and unwavering, his loyalty clear.
Kayden: Of course, Mr. Mcknight.
(He took the gun from his back pocket and shoots him.)
Jonathan: Does anyone need mercy?
I stepped closer to Dylan, my expression a mixture of amusement and satisfaction as I addressed both Dylan and Shawn, who was clearly trembling with fear.
Greyson: Well, well, look who we have here. It's Dylan Anthony, the man who believed he could escape his fate, despite all the wrongs he's committed. Known as the terror of the city, feared by all and respected by none. But now, he's been caught. It's time for him to face the consequences of his actions and learn his lesson once and for all
Dylan: YOU BASTARD! I AM GOING TO KIL-
(his words are cut off when Leon punches his nose, blood starts to flow from it)
Leon: How dare you! If you ever talk against my friend again, I swear I will rip your tongue out! See buddy he is talking too much! Let me give some special treatment for him.
(Mostly Leon is not a violent person, he will get dangerous if they mess with his family and friends)
Greyson: oh, mate! calm down. Dont waste your energy on him.
(I turned my head towards the son of the bitch that Shawn, his eyes are covering in fear and a whimper escaped from his mouth, But I am not going to leave him that easily today. Kayden draped a cloth around his mouth, I took the knife and inserted it into Shawn's palm, I twisted and turned the knife, digging deeper and deeper into Shawn's flesh as his screams intensified. I felt no remorse for the pain I was inflicting, instead a sense of satisfaction as I watched him writhe in agony. Finally, I pulled out the knife, leaving a gaping wound in his palm. Dylan is watching all this with his terrified eyes.
Greyson: now tell me, Anthony. Do you have any other partners?
(he remained silent, I signaled at Kayden, and he took the taser and put it on Dylan's neck, the electricity traveled through him and Kayden stopped it. and Leon spoke)
Leon: You are going, to tell the truth, or Do we need to repeat that? but believe me, this time it's going to be with 2x power, who knows if you will leave or not!
(Dylan had succumbed to unconsciousness, much to my frustration. I ordered Kayden to call our doctor and get him treated; there were too many unanswered questions, and he had the information we needed. I joined Leon and Jonathan outside as we decided to leave the interrogation for later.
Jonathan: Guys, I need to pick up Hanna, but I'll join you soon.
Greyson: Hurry up, we'll be waiting.
With the bloodstained shirt replaced, I climbed into the car, and we headed back to the farmhouse
It had been quite some time since I last visited the farm estate. As Leon and I approached, we heard the joyful sounds of laughter and play coming from the backyard. Anisha was engaged in a lively game of hide and seek with her friends, including Jaden, Kavin, and Monisha. Her eyes were covered with a blindfold as she eagerly tried to find her companions. Meanwhile, my in-laws were seated in armchairs, quietly enjoying the sight of their children's happiness. Jaden, ever alert, noticed my arrival and shot me a knowing smirk. He quickly signaled to everyone to make their way inside the house, ensuring that Anisha remained oblivious to our presence. As the others complied with his signal, I couldn't help but return their smirks. Anisha continued to search for her friends, swaying her hand to catch them. I approached her, a broad smile on my face. She reached out and touched my shoulder, her face lighting up as she exclaimed, "Gotcha!" I gently held her waist, pulling her close to me, and whispered in her ear, my lips brushing against her earlobe
Greyson: hey love!
(Her shocked face turned into a happy one and removed the cloth from her eyes and whispered)
Anisha: Grey!
Anisha's POV:
Initially, I wasn't too thrilled about going to the farmhouse without Greyson, but Jaden managed to lighten my mood during the ride. When we arrived at the venue, I was taken aback by the sight of Jessie, Caroline, and their friends. My first reaction was to embrace Jessie and express how much I had missed her, given her new job that made it hard for us to catch up.
Jaden: Sissy, turn around and see who's coming!
I turned around and, to my astonishment, saw my parents along with Kavin and Monisha. My eyes welled up with tears at the unexpected reunion. Kavin rushed to my side and enveloped me in a tight, comforting hug. He whispered softly, "I'm so sorry, rabbit. I wasn't here to protect you." I shook my head, silently conveying that I understood what he meant, and I held my parents other in that warm embrace.
Selvakumar: appa(dad) missed you so much da.
Anisha: me too appa!
Moni came over and planted a kiss on my cheek, adding to the warmth of the moment. Seeing my family and friends had filled me with immense happiness, and I was truly impressed by Greyson's thoughtful surprise. We all chatted and mingled effortlessly. Markus suggested playing hide and seek, and they made Ian the first catcher. After a few turns, it was my turn to be the catcher. As I counted and searched, the area fell silent. Suddenly, I bumped into something with a solid chest, and strong arms wrapped around my waist. At first, it startled me, but the moment I heard the familiar voice, my shock turned into sheer happiness. I quickly removed the blindfold covering my eyes.There stood my husband, his charming smile lighting up his face. I couldn't contain my joy and immediately threw my arms around his shoulders, hugging him tightly. His warm embrace filled my heart with gratitude for the love and unwavering support he'd given me throughout our relationship. His presence was a reminder of how blessed I was to have him in my life. However, our intimate moment was interrupted by loud cheers and the sounds of cameras clicking. I realized that our entire group was watching us, so I reluctantly released the hug.
Rose: Oh, you two are so adorable, chefie!
Ian: One day, I'll hug my future girlfriend like that!
Eugene: Well, let's see if you can even get a girlfriend, mate.
(Ian mockingly wailed in response, and everyone burst into laughter. Greyson exchanged greetings with them and then approached my parents. He respectfully touched their feet to seek their blessings. They warmly hugged him, showing their affection. Kavin, my brother, came next and embraced Greyson. He also shared a brotherly hug with Moni)
Jaden: Grey, you see that? It's time for your surprise!
Greyson turned and was amazed to see my mom, William, Melissa, and Troy. I was equally surprised and thrilled to see everyone gathered in one place. Grey rushed to his mom and embraced her warmly. Mom came to me and lovingly kissed my forehead. William whispered something in Greyson's ear, and Grey nodded in agreement. Melissa approached me and shared a heartfelt hug, and I lovingly caressed her pregnant belly. William patted my head and smiled at me. Greyson picked up Troy and kissed his chubby cheeks. Troy giggled with delight.
Troy: Angel! I missed you so much!
Troy jumped into my arms, giving me a tight hug. I returned his hug and peppered his cheeks with kisses. Just as I was about to kiss his other cheek, Greyson playfully carried Troy away.
Greyson: Come on, minion, one kiss is enough for you.
(Troy glared at him adorably, and it was clear that some things never change. Greyson had also brought along another police friend, Jonathan, and his girlfriend, Hanna, who seemed to be a very pleasant addition to the group. As we chatted, I noticed that Mel was taking some rest, with William by her side. Troy was busy playing with Kavin and my dad, while the others were getting everything ready for dinner. Jonathan and Leon seemed to be having a good time teasing Greyson, who sat with a slightly annoyed expression on his face. They were reminiscing about their high school prom.)
Jon: Babe, don't damage me, but Greyson and Minni looked very cute that day.
Anisha: Minni, huh? Sounds like a girl's name. Who's Minni, Grey?
Greyson: ) Minni was the star of the prom that night! Anisha, you remember her, right? She's quite the dancer.
(Who the hell is that Minni? I felt a sudden pang of jealousy in my stomach, wondering who Minni was and why Greyson had a smile on his face when he mentioned her)
Jonathan: Yes, Anisha. Greyson and Minni stole the dance floor!
Hanna: Yeah, it was hilarious! Minni was breaking it down, and Greyson was right there with her!
Anisha: So, Minni was a great dancer?
Greyson: Oh, the best, love. Do you want to see me and Minni's prom pic?
(He asked with a smirk on his face, I responded with a stern face.)
Anisha: No, it's okay, Grey.
Leon: Ani, see this!
(With a laugh, he shoved his phone toward me, and the picture that appeared on the screen made me burst into laughter.
(It's Greyson and someone in a Minnie Mouse costume, and I was surprised to see it was Leon.)
Greyson: Baby, it's our dear Leon.
Leon: Yep, that cutie is me! I actually wanted this idiot to wear a Mickey Mouse costume, but this stubborn nerd refused.
(He rolled his eyes at Greyson, and we all continued to enjoy the playful banter and happy conversations. The whole evening was filled with laughter and fun. However, I accidentally spilled some juice on my dress. Fortunately, my mom had a spare saree for me to wear, and I draped it on.
The mansion was still under renovation, so William and Melissa went to their private penthouse. My family stayed in Greyson's guest house, and everyone else left for their respective homes. Caroline, however, was left stranded at the entrance due to her car's punctured tires.
Caroline: It's okay, guys, I can manage. You go.
Greyson: Hey, Caroline, don't worry, Jaden will drop you.
(She nodded and then turned to me. Greyson winked at Jaden, who was grinning from ear to ear. I realized what he was up to and said my goodbyes.
Third pov:
(Anisha and Greyson sat in the car, the air filled with a comfortable silence. Anisha felt her heart racing as she gathered the courage to confess her feelings to Greyson.)
Anisha: Grey, can you stop here?
Greyson: Sure, Ani
he is a little confused, that is why she is asking him to stop here.
Anisha: can we go for a walk?
(she asked a little hesitantly, He held her hand and kissed it)
Greyson: anything for my queen!
(they both got out of the car, The air was fresh and the stars twinkled in the night sky. and Greyson interlaced his fingers with Ani's finger and gave her a small smile. She gained her courage and sighed.
Anisha: Greyson don't interrupt me between.
(he nods his head to her and squeezes her hand to proceed,)
I just want to tell you that you complete me in life, your touch has an amazing effect on me, and your presence gives me all the happiness in life, When you are around me I feel so good. Grey, I love the way you are taking care of me, protecting me, encouraging me, holding me, and the thing is I love you Greyson, I love you very much! My heart always belongs to you.
(After her confession she became too shy to face Greyson, so she hugged him and buried her face in his chest, Greyson is overwhelmed with happiness, his eyes having unshed tears of happiness, he pulled her closer to him and whispered huskily near her ear)
Greyson: can you tell me, one more time?
(She becomes shy and nods a no, Greyson requests her with a cute expression)
please, baby! One more time. See my eyes and confess your love.
(She broke the hug and gazed at his lovely face, and noticed a lone tear was escaping from his eye she wiped it with her thumb and smiled at him
Anisha: I love you, Greyson Mcknight! I love you so much.
(Without wasting any time, Greyson picked her up by holding her waist and started to spin her, His happiness had no limit, he felt complete, and he was grinning from ear to ear. Greyson looked into her eyes as they were spinning, he was mesmerized by her beauty and grace. He felt like the luckiest man in the world to have her in his arms and he knew that he would never let her go. He felt like he was in a dream, and he never wanted it to end.
Anisha giggled at his actions, and he let her down slowly. Still, his hands snaked around her waist and pulled her closer to him. His touch was gentle yet firm, almost as if he didn't want to let her go. He looked into her eyes, and Anisha could feel her heart racing as he slowly leaned in towards her.
Greyson: I love you too, baby. You know I am the happiest man now!
(he connected his forehead with hers, and His heart was beating faster as he looked into her eyes and lightly brushed her face with his fingertips. He wanted to kiss her and feel the warmth of her lips against his. He could feel the electricity between them, and he knew that this moment was special., and asked huskily)

Anisha pov:
I nodded with a smile one hand holding my head and another hand on my waist, he leaned closer and captured my lips, His kiss was passionate and full of tenderness, I could feel his heart beating against mine and my heart was beating faster. I can feel his warmth radiating through my body, and I'm melting in his embrace. His kiss is gentle yet passionate, I can feel the love he has for me in this moment and I'm lost in this moment. I broke the kiss and breathed heavily, his lips were tugged into a beautiful smile, and we both leaned in for another kiss but this time it went very passionately, and suddenly he pinched my waist and I gasped, he took that chance to enter into my mouth and tasted it, I felt his warm tongue as it moved against mine. His hands moved around my back, his embrace strong yet gentle. I felt my heart race as he deepened the kiss, exploring my mouth with his own. We stayed there for what felt like eternity, until we finally pulled away from each other, both of us a little breathless. his fingers are rubbing the spot where he pinched. I glanced at him with a shy smile on my face and he winked at me.
Greyson: that was fucking good! We need to do this every day! What are you saying, baby?
Anisha: sure.
(I whispered silently and hung my head low, he chuckled and again gave a quick peek at my lips, and he held my hand in his and drove the car to our penthouse.
